anon from before, i cant sleep, im way too excited about seeing the silly gsc dexholders… i may need to sleep soon but let me just tell u i absolutly LOVE the kanto dexholders. im onlt semi new to pokespe as i was there for my friend to liveblog readinf it to me last year. but im only now experiencing it myself. god blue is an icon i love her. and as someone who has been in the gameverse fandom for a while. its so silly to me how different blue oak (game) and green oak (spe) are. god green(oak) would HATE blue(oak) with a passion. or at least think he is very annoying.. ALSO YELLLOWWW! i LOVE how spe was just like “ima make up our own silly guy. yeah. and we’ll make rhem a magical forest child and also transgender”

Facts:

Sabrina is 21 years old when she encounters the protagonists, according to the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga.

Her Japanese name, ‘Natsume’, may be a reference to the plant of the same name that is known to have two natural enemies—the plant known as ‘Witch’s Broom’ and insect larvae. A synonym to Natsume/ an alter ego of Sabrina’s is called ‘Jujube’, a type of sweet candy. Note that ghost-type Pokémon and bug-type Pokémon are both super effective against psychic-type Pokémon and that anime-Sabrina has two sides to her personality, a cold, callous side and a sweet, playful side.

Her English name, ‘Sabrina’, comes from the word psychic and possibly a reference to the popular show ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’.

In the Pokémon Adventures Manga (Pokespe), Sabrina was one of three Team Rocket heads, but this is not stated in the Pokémon anime. Later in the series, she is revealed to have become an actress.  

Sabrina is one of just a handful of human characters that canonically have supernatural abilities. Her abilities include teleportation, telepathy, psychokinesis, and transmutation.…and being able to turn people into dolls that can talk and then go back to normal. The full extent of her power is unknown and varies based on which canon is observed.  

Sabrina is Magic Queen Bellelba/Magic Queen Jujube in the Mystery Doors of the Magic Land Series/ The Magical Kingdom's Mysterious Door.

In the games, Sabrina’s eyes are pink, but in the anime, they are blue.

In the games, her hair is black, but in the anime, it is dark green.

One of her Japanese titles is ‘Esper Lady’.

Headcanons:

Sabrina’s eyes and hair alternate colors as a side effect of her supernatural powers.

Her full name is Sabrina Natsume.

She is Japanese.

In the Pokémon anime-verse, Sabrina left Team Rocket soon after the Mewtwo Project picked up speed—she did not want to be a part of it, mostly because she wanted to focus more on her own abilities and did not want to be used by Team Rocket, despite them all having nefarious natures.

This last one is part canon, part headcanon:

It is heavily implied in the anime that Sabrina has some intense mental health challenges and depending on one’s perspective, that represents multiple disorders and conditions. She is depicted as having her personality split, a form of dissociation, but my current headcanon is that there isn’t one condition that suits her best and she probably has multiple things going on, perhaps things that effect people with psychic abilities different from those who do not.

Someone Submitted Sabrina, and the Draft Disappeared!

I started responding to a submission for the pinned post, got about halfway through responding, took a break, and when I returned to finish it off, it was gone! 

I really thought I saved it but it is nowhere in my drafts. I don’t even remember who submitted it, so I can’t tag them. 

However, since I remember most of what I wrote, I can still respond, but I cannot tag or thank the person who submitted it since I do not recall their username. I’m sorry:(
