starting to realize that the fandoms i truly love the most are the ones i love passively and dont obsess over. it’s a lot easier to be a side bttf fan and collect bttf stuff and not regret the time/money spent than it is to participate in fandoms that are constantly screaming about how every single type of person should be represented in a tiny dnd podcast run by a bunch of white guys while disney’s over here purposefully under-marketing movies with a single gay poc main character. sorry im just really tired rn

#whatsupray?#im sorry if that sounds super offensive #and i totally agree that jrwi does have an issue of under-representing poc and disabled people #but why are we bullying small creators for doing a few things wrong when there are so much worse people out there #and yes we shouldnt have to settle for simply better but if we arent kind to the people who are actually trying #guess what? they arent gonna wanna try #idk i just wanna enjoy something for once and partake in a fandom that doesn't dissolve into moral issues within the year of my joining #one of these days im gonna end up moving onto dropout/d20 and then that entire company is going to explode because of some fucking #workplace consensual relationship or some other crazy thing
