I really, really wish people who don't have the capacity to properly take care of animals would simply accept and acknowledge that about themselves. This isn't even a post of me trying to be mean or judge anyone, I'm sure most people go into getting an animal with good intentions, but intentions and actions are different. If you don't have the time and the space and the care an animal needs, the animal will suffer. The fleeting joy of having a kitten or puppy or anything else doesn't last forever and they aren't toys to be put down and forgotten once you've moved past the inital excitement. If you don't have the ability to properly care for an animal, just accept that and simply admire them from a distance.

#the amount of people i know who flippantly just. buy a random pet with no prior planning or thought #and like its not always outright neglect #you can technically feed and groom a pet get them flee treatments etc but if you lock it outside 24/7 and spend no actual time #like why do you have that animal?#you should not have that aninal #if you have too much in your life to adequately care for one its vetter for YOU and for the animal to not have one #like this little cat is so sweet #actually the sweetest cat ive ever known and my cat tigs has always been a massive sweety already #so its saying something that shes been even sweeter #i mean i brushed her teeth and got matted fur off her and cleaned her eyes and she NEVER bit or scratched me once #shes so quiet and sweet #but the people across the road clearly just left her outside to her own devices her whole life #seemingly no vet checks. didnt feed her properly and i sometimes wonder if at all bc their next door neighbour was feeding her apparently #and he has no pets!! even he knew that shit was wrong #and now shes so sickly and small and malnourished and her teeth are rotting out of her head #and its just like ????#why have her #you could have realized you werent really the type for pets and given her to a shelter #and she would have been adopted 100%#but they kept her all this time but also not really bc its not like she was kept properly at all #its sad she didnt come over here sooner #i wish id had since she was a baby or even a year ago #bc then maybe i could have helped her more #its just so unnecessary. Animals are a privilege not a right.#and again like. go visit your cousin or uncle or sister or friends pet in that case #you might not have the time or ability but you could still enjoy animals wothout directly having one

i need help to manage my budget... by help i mean 3 million euro sent directly from heaven i guess

#this is not even about The Economy and Housing Crisis this is like. my life and choices lately lol afjsahfjk let's see:#1. christmas gifts - i don't even know how much i spent on them because i had the flu and wasn't really thinking but let's say 1000 pln #2. trip for new years eve to the mountains - 2200 for hotel and then let's say 300-350 for food and stuff #3. bills like the internet and phone is 90; rent is 1100 #4. trip to warsaw 100 hotel 180 food and drinks 200 ?#5. meet and greet with simple plan 800 .... i will never recover sfshdfsj but it was kinda worth it - won't do that again tho #6. groceries since i am back 120 #7. and now i need to travel back home and it's like a cumulation because it was my dad's name day + my mom's birthday and their wedding #anniversary adsfhgsdjhsd so i need gifts again i mean i want to buy them something nice i already spent 180 pln but i will buy something #extra for each of them because i kinda want to because we see each other so rarely #8. public transport ticket for another month is 80 #9. i will have to pay rent again soon and the internet and phone #10. i have a wedding coming and like 37 concerts #to sum up. i am Fucked <3 but writing it out helped a little ;_;#i will eat concrete and drywall by march <3 #personal

Graphic design is my passion. To boost my motivation here and there, I went to look at pretty pictures, and I even did a Thing for all of the Forsworn. This one is dedicated to Glaerun and his partner.

i just napped for like 4 hrs. uh. hello.

#logbook #did my half day ate lunch and then was like. i'll go rest at rents while they're out and about.#ended up napping. knew it was happening once i couldnt keep my eyes open but i swear i set an alarm. now its after 7.#i bet exes arent home. havent heard anything. and if i go home i'll have to watch the dog til they come back.#'just leave him crated' he'll whine and cry bc ofc he knows i'll be home. and i dont have space for him in the room rn.#but he also deserves to be out and spend time. and i love spending time with him.#idk that whole mentality of 'not your animal' pisses me off bc when you live with someone elses pet they sort of DO become your pet.#like sorry but you share the space. i dont pay vet bills or buy food but i do actually feed fhem. and walk him #sometimes. and i spend time with all 4. i take leia outside to smell the air. and i nap with them #the cats and the dog snuggle me and greet me at the door. i think they know i'm leaving bc theyve been sooo affectionate.#and also half of these problems wouldnt exist with them if it wasnt negative towards me or i still slept in the bed lol #im going to miss them so much it hurts. . .and i know its going to affect them bc it did with the puppies and it has with emira.#didnt mean for this to become a sad log yet here we are. sigh.#so much for my half day. i was going to game and plan out house stuff but. oh well.#my body probably needs the rest anyways.

Quick question for people who've read Baccano! So, Volumes 4, 5, and 6 are essentially out of print and I can't get it anywhere unless I want to pay some stranger on the internet upwards of $200+ per volume IF they even have it available at all. (yes yes, I know there's E-books but E-books hurt my eyes like you wouldn't believe, and tbh I like my media more physical where a company can't just yoink the license out of my hand if they decide they suddenly hate me or the series) SO until they either reprint those volumes or I finally buckle down and buy it my question is: Can I just start reading volumes 7, 8, 9 etc. without reading those? I know Baccano! jumps around the timeline and that isn't necessarily an issue for me but I am aware that sometimes things are put in a specific order because it helps with the narrative flow so to speak (like main characters showing up in one book that are side characters in another that I'd need to know context for for the second book to make sense. Also which volumes are 'pair' volumes, such as volumes 2 and 3?
