We have different senses of humor but I think that’s 1) bc of the 10 year age difference 2) English is his second language

I’ve never (casually) dated anyone where it was so .. easy. Like literally every time we hang out we’re just big time chillin. We just laugh and hook up and watch silly movies and like we’ll talk about ourselves sure but there’s no .. game about it. We don’t text much in between seeing one another. We’ve introduced one another to each others friends.

Last night after we got back I had on a big sweatshirt / no pants / crew socks + we smoked a little and got giggly and I went to go put a record on and he was like “I just have to let you know I can’t stop looking at your calves. You just stood on your tip toes and the way your leg flexes was so cute I know that is silly but I just love noticing these little things about you, you walk about in a way where you don’t seem to notice them but it just stops me and I have to admire”

Which maybe sounds cringe but I thought it was so sweet bc it was like a non sexual comment and he really will just pick up on little things I do or things I notice/ remember. He says I am a good listener which is true.

He’s taking me to the airport for Tokyo? Not even men I was in relationships for 3+ years took me to the airport lol. Normally I have weird rules but I think I am just kind of letting this happen. I’m not ready for a relationship but I like .. whatever this is.

The best fics are the ones that recognize that although Luke Skywalker may APPEAR on the outside to be a normal friendly twink who happens to have cool powers, especially when contrasted with such ship partners as Boba or Din or even Han, he is arguably the scariest person alive in the galaxy around the prequel era. AND, crucially, he is also a fundamentally weird guy. This man was homeschooled on a rural farm his entire life and then apprenticed to a swamp gremlin who showed him how to tap into the cosmic power of the universe. He blew up the death star age 19, killing approx 2 million-ish Imperials. He is a vortex of Force power that can communicate with the ghosts of dead Jedi. He’s staring into the distance and mumbling to himself and doing Yoda aphorisms and casually pulling out the “yeah I could crush that guy into a paste with my mind (:” and nobody around him knows what to do with that. I think he is a character who has very little frame of reference for how a Jedi or a person in general is supposed to act and there is some thing about him that is by necessity really fucking weird and a little scary but he’s so nice that it can throw you off the scent a little bit. Hiiii! So I saw you mention SunnyBlue in that post you made about Blue and the twins and I wasn't sure if you were actually into that ship but if you are I would like to offer you my favorite fic of those two. It's Saturated Sunlight by @inkfamy It's honestly the greatest characterization of the two, and on top of it being a romantic fic of the two, it dives into Blue's ptsd and how he earned the title of the best sniper in the Autobots as well as the issues Sunny and Sides have and it's just so fascinating. Idk, it seemed like something you would enjoy based off of the other fics you like.

The characterisation of Blue?? And the twins?? Muah~ Absolutely wonderful. The emphasis on Blue being a really fucking good sniper is so interesting. Like I've never seen sniper programming being used in that way.

I love how Roy just so happens to be a part of every major friend group on Ted Lasso. Friendly with Keeley even when she was dating Jamie (whilst hating Jamie), friendly with Rebecca whereas most of the team is much more distanced from her, in later seasons friends with the team as their former captain, friends with the Diamond Dogs and coaches, best friends with Jamie, Beard's best man, friends with the Chelsea staff members, friends with the yoga moms... The idea of him being in like 20 different group chats with different groupings of the same people, and replying/participating in none of them, greatly amuses me

The buildings are magnificent, the ghosts are their weird and wonderful selves, and every single one of them speaks of their new liege with wonder and appreciation

They make their way to the throne, he looks young but regal with a blazing blue crown on his head and a council of obviously very powerful beings at his sides

Beside the throne is just a fucking brick shit house in plate-mail with a massive sword ready to cut them down if they breathe wrong to the king

The hall falls to respectful silence when this young king speaks

And then half way through the meeting a fucking rockstar with flaming blue hair leaps in through the window and tackles the king straight outta his chair

This very dignified regal figure they’ve been negotiating with (he’s heard of them, he’s been very accommodating and seems to really want to help) is Under Attack

Is it a coup??? His knight hasn’t even moved, the council just continue on as if nothing’s happening, the king is wrassling like a puppy with another ghost who looks about the same age, both screaming profanity

Before the league can decide to get involved, King Danny gets a foot on Ember’s chest, punts her across the room, screams after her that no one can hear you sing in Soup Jail, and returns to the table

“Any way we can add a music deal to this package?”

Ember takes a seat at the table like nothing happened, she’s clearly not supposed to be part of the proceedings but she’s here now and she’s into it

And about two hours later it fucking happens AGAIN cuz Kitty comes barrelling in through the door and goes for Danny’s throat, once again no one else moves except Ember, who fucking dives right in and screams at Kitty for fucking up her new recording deal

(There’s also shit like “defeat Apokolips, defend the Earth, seal Darkseid in a jam jar or whatever” on the table but Ember only cares about one thing)

I imagine Vasco and Ludovica have a big painting (portrait but with two people) in Vasco's house (probably his father insisted of getting one of these, people used to do it in the old days, especially wealthy ones). While it's very serious and formal, in the way all these portraits were, it is also very intimate (at least it's implications). I imagine Machete just staring at it sometimes, feeling small while looking at the big painting. And sad, maybe jealous but I don't think he'd resent Ludovica. He, most of all, understands.

I'm actually getting a little bit concerned for the people who think Tommy is still the same person he was in Hen and Chimney Begins episodes. Because, like, are you sure you've actually watched the show???

The whole show itself is about becoming the best version of yourself, and Tommy is visibly more confident and sure of himself in season 7 than he ever was in the flashbacks in Season 2. Hell, he kissed Buck - something which he would never have had the courage to do when he was deeply closeted 10 years ago. He's very clearly not the same character...and I genuinely do not understand how these people can claim that he hasn't changed. I ask for 1 (one) piece of evidence to prove that he's still the same person now that he was in the Begins episodes...I'll wait.

I am sometimes concerned as to why some people consume this media if they do not have the capacity to interpret it in the correct way.
