Guided Sky (?)

Au where Tsuna accidentally meets Skull and ends up traveling all across the world while doing schooling with Skull. The baby just accidentally got lost in Japan while he was on break for a while after he went to Disneyland.

Lucky baby, the boy thought while burying his face in homework he never understood.

To add more salt to his wounds, Nana actually hired him in order to be a tutor! And oh he was smart. Everytime Tsuna tried to outsmart him, Skull would just point out the plot holes and make Tsuna question everything he did.

The baby had the mind of an adult and it freaked him out and only him since babies could become this smart at the age of 1! Everyone ignored the fact that Skull could also do things not even adults could do like flip off of a rooftop without breaking his little baby ankles.

The baby was exhausting as hell and gave him heart attacks everytime he did something for his “job” in the first 2 weeks even in school. It would nearly kill the kid every time Skull followed a teacher or peer classmate without any problem. Including his bullies!

Tsuna went along with Skull’s antics only because Skull’s presence made it less likely for Tsuna to get in trouble or bullied. It started happening the day after he got sick, due to his bullies dumping toilet water on him. Skull was very calm that day and left him to his own devices for once.

But Tsuna’s tutor was 90% a wild kid despite his IQ. And to make things even more bizarre, Tsuna’s grades were gradually climbing up which was a miracle. Skull gave him a box of treats on golden week for passing all of his exams with a 70 or higher. He used to get 20’s and 10’s as a reference….

Skull shuddered at his previous scores before he dragged the young kid and Nana to some nice places in Japan that even Nana never knew about.

They all got to wind down and have fun in all the attractions, even Nana started acting like a kid. It was a common occurrence to see the son and mother running around in some other city for an hour or two before actually shopping around. As usual, nobody noticed the purple baby or thought the baby was a creepy doll in every city they went to.

It was the best week ever. Skull got a cat ear umbrella set with pastel raincoats for the 3 of them (Skull used it as a robe). And the food was amazing! Skull even hooked Nana up with some cooking professionals and Tsuna got a 80.5% discount on most of the things he bought related to anime or other types of books. In fact, he ended up discussing anime in an internet cafe with 3 adults who lowkey looked very familiar.

It was actually Skull’s friends who were equally intelligent as him and actually created their own big companies. Sadly, the week of fun had to end but they did end up getting a bunch of stuff which filled up 7 giant suitcases of stuff. Half of it was a bunch of stationery and a few questionable things in Skull’s bags along with a few key chains/kimonos. Nana and Tsuna bought out half of a bakery and a few other things they kept separate from each other.

After the initial bliss of golden week, he successfully did his work without any late homework and smiled at the teachers for once.

Now that he actually did his homework everyday, the teachers got bitter at the fact that he seemed to do way better, and the students left him alone.

Tsuna frowned at the hostility the teachers had and told Skull and his mother about the events after a week of the same treatment..

It was only a month later that all the teachers his class was assigned had been illegitimate student teachers who barely helped their professors or couldn’t even get into a basic college…. Namimori middle school had separated since basically almost all of the teachers didn’t even gain a degree…unsurprisingly, the terrifying demon expanded school territory. He shivered.

The demon of Namimori had terrorized Kokuyo afterwards. It was only a few miles away from the outskirts of Namimori Middle.

“Tsu-kun?”

“Mhm?” said son nodded up, his lap covered in wrinkled papers and documents. Nana bit her lip nervously.

“Well, I know Namimori isn’t the best so me and Skull think it would be better if you studied in another place….” She looked at Tsuna for confirmation.

He nodded slowly, putting away the school files and recommendations.

“I think you should be studying somewhere with Skull. I don’t know why but after we both met Skull, I feel a lot more wary for you, honey.” Her forehead crinkled in displeasure as she hugged Tsuna.

“Are you going with me?” Tsuna inquired, his eyes sharpening at her hunched pose.

“Sadly, no. I have no place anywhere outside of Namimori…. and if Iemitsu hears about me disappearing, he will search for me. Your father is a very… focused person. I would let him go but I’m scared of what he’d do to you or anyone else…. it’s not that hard to realize how tenacious Iemitsu is if you knew him dear.” She chuckled mirthlessly, her eyes darkening but prideful at the same time.

He protested but nothing could pass out of mouth, he shut his mouth after 5 minutes of silence.

“…what do you say?” his tutor stood at the door, having been there for the whole conversation. Skull’s eyes pierced through his soul. Tsuna froze in some unknown emotion and turned towards his mother. She tearfully smiled at him, getting up to make dinner.

He shook in disbelief…. Skull or his mother.

Tsuna frowned, grasping his mother’s hand. After a week of not doing anything, he reluctantly greeted his mother farewell which broke his heart. Skull gave them closure for the next 3 hours.

While they were going to the airport, Nana had texted her son and so forth, both sides missing their family member like crazy.

After 3 years, Tsunayoshi visited Japan for the first time alone and a Hitman entered Japan. Both people could feel a pit in their guts, unsure of what it was.

As for Skull, he had abandoned Tsunayoshi with a plane ticket and 3 checks that could buy out a small town on his 16th birthday, though Tsunayoshi had understood. It wasn’t Skull’s place to help the Vongola no matter how much Skull loved his pupil.

It was very obvious to Tsuna that the Vongola or it’s allies had done something devastating to Skull’s life since the cloud was so understanding. Tsuna’s palms turned clammy for the first time in a long time, gripping the cloud flame fused crystal in his hand. It was the only thing Skull truly gave that indicated his bond with the 16 yr old.

His sky flames braced him for the worst as he stepped onto Japanese ground, sharply inhaling as observant sun flames doused the airport, the hitman’s eyes scanning for the Japanese heir he needed to train.

Then they made eye contact. Reborn did not like this brat, Leon tensed and curled up on his shoulder away from the Sky’s stare. A snarky grin makes it out of the teenager as well as anger from his Cloud’s experience with the hitman.

Sun and Sky flames set each other off, creating humidity in the air conditioned airport.

(Somewhere in a quiet place, Skull woke up with orange and purple eyes, instinctively reaching for a silver shortblade behind his pillow. Sensing the irritating sun flames through his sky, he pushed out the sun to balance the powers of a grown man with developed flames in comparison to a teenager with a weakening seal that was slowly disintegrating his muscles and organs..

He hoped nothing too bad would happen to what was his. Or there would be hell to pay. He went back to sleep with restlessness in his body.)

Important Mental Health/Social Notes: Medusa has been away from human contact for a long time given that, after the Vex/Exo experiments, she fell into a pit of self-loathing and despair over what had happened to her and whether or not she’d even be able to return to the Tower and humanity as a whole. She has been attacked by some Guardians before, and while the situation was normally a misunderstanding, she still has some trust issues and goes through many lengths to try to hide the forced modifications to keep people from freaking out about her. She is trying to get back out into contact with others’ more now, but it will probably be a while before she actually trusts anyone enough to tell them what happened to her.

Bio:

Medusa always had a love of science and the stars. However, she had no say in her family taking to the Distributary, with the exception of her older sister who had already joined the Ishtar Collective for a secret project. And so, time made memories fade till Medusa had become one of the many Awoken born in the Distributary, though her rebirth weakened her legs greatly. In her time among the Awoken, she stayed out of the political games by focusing on training to be a Techeun, to find ways to merge science with the stars, and trying to find her lost sister. In the many years that passed through her training, Medusa not only traveled to the City to make contact with the rest of humanity (where she was also partially trained in the ways of a Warlock), she also traveled through the Ley Lines and stumbled across the Vex in the process. She studied them for a time, but when they turned their gaze towards her, she was unable to escape. Her first death, and the one that would inevitably lead to her Perseus finding her, was at their hands as they tried to “repair” her damaged body (both from her Distributary rebirth and from their guns) by replacing her flesh with Vex, and surprisingly, Exo parts. The trauma from the forced modifications is what killed her. How did her Ghost find her in a Vex domain? He had joined with a group of Risen who where traveling between Mercury and other locations of Vex activity, including places like the Black Garden and Vault of Glass. It was through their help that he found her. However, her rebirth came at the lives of three of the Guardians in that fireteam. They had, upon finding, been effectively turned to stone. In fear, the rest of the fireteam abandoned the place, and though she was now reborn and had a more experienced Ghost, Medusa was left to fend for herself within the Vex domain. She gained plenty of survival skills in the process, but the memory of the three petrified Guardians haunted her even after she got out, fearing that she herself had done that to them by accident. Hiding away from humanity, she practiced getting used to her new body, as well as relearning and training in both her Techeun and Warlock skill sets. Due to her amalgamation of skills and modifications, there were a few times wherein Guardians, and even Ghostless, saw glimpses of her and left her injured or dead, believing her to be a monster. The name Medusa grew to be both a gift and a burden in her mind, but unlike the myth, Perseus never slayed her, he brought her life and healing and comfort, and the two have an unbreakable bond as a result, with Perseus being the most precious thing in Medusa’s life. He is also the one who encouraged Medusa to try to find her sister again, as well as try to make contact with the Tower to try and get help, or at least to make sure the accidental killings stop.

Note: She is now most frequently found on Nessus and the Dreaming City as she tries to find her sister, and though she was out of the loop for a while, thanks to her Techeun abilities and such, she is caught up on all the current in game events happening and likely has made contact with Mara or Petra to offer her services.

I bet you thought you were gonna get Poe! But no, it was him! Ranpo!

I see Ranpo as a ENTP! He would totally move you out of your comfort zone as an extrovert. He would also help you think more with your brain rather than your heart. I give you Ranpo in this regard for the same reason as to why Ranpo meshes so well with Poe. Because opposites attract! Of course Ranpo would like someone who could match his intelligence, but I think you could definitely teach him a thing or two about emotional intelligence, rather than logical intelligence due to your FP.

Ranpo would nudge you out of your shell. He would in general be someone that you could hang around and easily get really comfortable with. We saw how quickly Ranpo got Yosano to open up during Dreaming of Butterflies while Mori and Fukuzawa were having a custody battle over her. If he could get someone like young Yosano to open up quickly despite all she's gone through, that must mean he has a very comforting presence. (Even if he is really loud and childish.)

Speaking of childish! You and Ranpo would get along since you're both pretty childish. There's also, of course, the hijinks that would ensue from you two just being in the same room together. And like you, Ranpo can be serious when the situation calls for it. Such as when he confronted Mushitaro and said that he would turn himself into a demon for the sake of the safety of the agency. (Can we talk about how cool that scene was?)

Additionally, both of you are extremely loyal. Ranpo is loyal to a fault, especially to Fukuzawa. His entire character arc during the Decay of Angels arc is realizing that Fukuzawa's word isn't absolute and that he has to learn to make decisions for himself. He got a big wake up call when he realized Fukuchi was Kamui and then was attacked by him. Since he thought he could trust Fukuchi since he had known Fukuchi since the opening of the agency, as well as Fukuchi being Fukuzawa's best and childhood friend. I can't tell if you are loyal to a fault, but something tells me you are, just a bit.

Ranpo would very much enjoy that you're shorter than him. He would totally use your shoulders as an arm rest and tease you relentlessly about it. He would probably pick you up to. And I don't mean try. That man easily lifted a heavy ass safe in Dead Apple. He is not a noodle. He would lift you, no hesitation.

At least with dating Ranpo, you get to befriend Poe! (And Mushitaro, I am in love with that stupid dramatic bitch) You, Poe, and Ranpo would have little movie nights and reading sessions where you and Ranpo read over Poe's latest manuscript. Ranpo would let you read first to see if you could solve it before he could! There's also the possible thrill of Ranpo requesting Poe put you two in the story so you can experience it first hand!

Ranpo would be interested in your drawings and I can totally see him as someone who enjoys watching people draw. He would also share his snack stash with you since you both love sweets. Also please let him read your writing! He would give helpful tips on things you may need to work on since you're starting out! (He toootttaaally didn't learn it from Poe, no sirree.)

As for wearing cutesy things, please let Ranpo dress you up! He would have so much fun! He would take you shopping (probably with Yosano since he isn't very good at clothes shopping, he just likes the way things look.) If your bed is filled with plushies Ranpo is totally gonna bury himself in them, you cannot stop him. He will be consumed by the plushie pile.

Finally, you like animals? Great. So does Ranpo. You guys are gonna adopt so many stray cats. Wouldn't surprise me if you guys picked up Natsume one day. He probably wouldn't mind.

All in all, you and Ranpo are similar enough to the point of where you would get along, but also different enough to learn and grow from each other. That's one of the most important things in a relationship.

Kranky by Name...

Listening to the new Windy & Carl album I was reminded of the enduring greatness of the Kranky label, and that led me to dig up this piece I wrote, originally for the eMusic site, in 2011. There’s a ton of good music here.

Kranky's great skill is escapology; it is practically defined by its ability to evade definition. If there is received wisdom about the Chicagoan label, it's as a home for abstracted guitars, moody soundscapes and occasionally spiky electronic beats: all very serious, very studious, very intense. And maybe when Bruce Adams and Joel Leoschke founded it in 1993 it could be pegged as a relatively straightforward experimental-leaning indie label – but with each release it slips under, around, and away from standard categories. “Post-rock” doesn't capture the sheer variety of its guitar-based output, “ambient” is far too vague a term for its more textural releases, and “electronica” can't even come close to describing its more far-out sonic experiments. And despite its own claim to have “a very specific aesthetic” there is variety – such variety – in its catalogue. For every jittery and discordant Nudge record, there's Tim Hecker one that washes over you with waves of bliss; for every Charalambides creeping around disturbing corners of rare mindstates, there's an Out Hud that leaps out at you with vim, vivacity and a spring in its step. What unites them is a sense of switched-on intellects, outsider intelligences seeing what can be done with sound without getting sucked into academic self-regard – but the sounds themselves ebb and flow into new shapes with almost every release. 18 years into its existence, Kranky dares you to try and pin it down.

ESCAPING INDIE ROCK: Labradford 'A Stable Reference' 1995

Kranky Records began in 1993 with Labradford's 'Prazision' album – a great and unique album, but still recognisably rooted in the same indie-rock soil as the likes of Spacemen 3 and Galaxie 500. The perhaps ironically-titled 'A Stable Reference', however, represented a complete untethering from these reference points, an abstraction and release from rock tropes that – paradoxically – helped make much clearer what “a Kranky record” was. Infused with the most sinister atmospheres of Ennio Morricone and Popol Vuh soundtracks, it is by turns claustrophobic and sweeping in its scope, but always brooding, revealing its dark ideas at its own pace. The term “post-rock” seems almost laughably prosaic next to these strange maps of unknown emotions, but it does describe the way this record marked a real escape from standard structures for the guitar-centred band. Its influence on the releases that would follow is clear: not in its sound, but in the careful balance between freedom and focus that it set up.

THE MULTI-FACETED: AMP 'Stenorette' 1998

Some of Kranky's acts are as indefinable as the label itself, as perfectly illustrated by the loose-knit AMP. Based around the core of British duo Richard Walker and Karine Chaff, the band evolved rapidly through experimental rock styles until this album, made in collaboration with Robert Hampson of Loop/Main and beat programmer Olivier Gauthier, which takes a completely magpie approach to genre. From the Sonic Youth guitar clang of 'You are Here' to crystalline piano pieces like 'Songe' and 'Just-Ice', meandering analogue synth trickles to dubbed-out breakbeats, completely abstract drones to practically jaunty songs, 'Stenorette' pulls together dozens of disparate elements – yet they never feel chosen arbitrarily just for the sake of diversity, but rather are selected entirely according to the musical logic of the album. That it avoids sounding like some kooky postmodern collage is impressive; that it shows a coherent and compelling personality of its own is little short of a miracle.

THE ELEMENTAL SYMPHONY: Godspeed You Black Emperor! 'Lift Yr. Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven!' 2000

Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven by Godspeed You! Black Emperor

This is the big one. Originally releasing vinyl only on their Constellation label, the intense Canadian collective GYBE! found a simpatico home with Kranky to reach out to wider audiences, in particular with this glorious suite. Over four 20-minute tracks, they redraw the rule of structure for the rock band format, paced with impeccable patience as they build from delicately sketched frameworks, sometimes with spoken narration, to vast climactic plateaux of guitar distortion surrounded by the swooping orchestral lines of the Silver Mount Zion instrumentalists. Laden with meaning to be unpicked and decoded, the record expresses everything from political fortitude and cosmic awe to utter desolation, sweeping the listener along in a slowly-changing but unstoppable drama of absolutely staggering scale.

KRANKY GETS ITS GROOVE ON: Out Hud 'S.T.R.E.E.T. D.A.D.' 2002

With all its strangeness and exploration of the darker crevices of the subconscious, it could be easy to categorise this as a label for wallflowers. But Kranky knows how to dance, never better shown than on the two albums by Out Hud. This, their debut, came out just as LCD Soundsystem were bursting onto the scene and !!! (who share three members with Out Hud) were finding their groove; disco-punk was the sound of the moment. But true to Kranky style, this album has a deeply psychedelic, improvisatory feel – like a more discofied Gang Gang Dance, perhaps – that makes it stand out a mile from its contemporaries. Despite the kookiness of track names like 'Hair Dude You're Stepping on my Mystique', the snaking grooves, acidic keyboard sounds and genuinely dubwise FX mark this out as a very serious piece of dancefloor art.

FRACTURED PSYCHEDELICISMS: Charilambides 'Unknown Spin' 2003

Whether you call it “free folk”, “music of the new weird America” or just good old fashioned freakouts, there's no doubting that the music of Tom and Christina Carter comes from a very psychedelic place. Allied to the loose movement that includes Sunburned Hand Of The Man, MV&EE, No-Neck Blues Band etc, Charilambides make a more strung-out noise than most of their contemporaries, the sound of people unafraid to explore their inner landscape, however scary it might become. Sometimes loose and discordant to the point of complete meltdown, sometimes coagulating around recognisable guitar solos that unfold like they've escaped from a Jefferson Airplane jam, these four tracks – especially the half-hour title number – are spacey, spooky and very, very weird indeed.

INNER AMBIENCE: Pan American 'Quiet City' 2004

Quiet City by Pan•American

Some of Kranky's greatest releases are those that dissolve rhythm and float free into wide open imaginative spaces. Certain acts, like Ethernet, work entirely with electronics, but more often, as with Pan American, they will blur the label's rich traditions of processed guitar drone with musique concrète, ambient and even new age music to make elegantly layered sounds one can get completely lost in. But this is not music to switch off to and doesn't offer the anodyne comfort of “chillout”: as the title perhaps suggests, 'Quiet City' invites contemplation and exploration of its spaces, but like any city, while it is complex and beautiful, there is dirt and threat here too. Like sitting outside in chilly dawn air in the aftermath of a chaotic night or on the morning before a life-changing decision, it feels like it exists outside of the usual routine of things.

PARALLEL WORLD POP: Atlas Sound 'Logos' 2009

Just as we all sometimes need a danceable rhythm, once in a while even the most dedicated noisenik or experimentalist secretly likes to hear a sweet melody – and Kranky provides that too, whether it's the mutant disco-pop of Out Hud's second record or the sweet hymns of Low. Alright, we're not talking Katy Perry here, but records like 'Logos' still shamelessly deal in the pleasure principle and instantly-recognisable songs and are passionately loved for that. The presence of Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier and Animal Collective's Noah Lennox (aka Panda Bear) shows the territory this record is operating in, with plenty of references to psychedelic pop and Krautrock of the past all put into a kaleidoscope and reflected into new technicolour patterns. There's nothing facile or zoned-out about it, though – this is the gimlet-eyed and singular vision of Deerhunter frontman and “true queer art punk” Bradford Cox, and it exposes new intensities and weirdnesses with every play.

Batwoman

2019 series > Ep 1-3

*sigh*

Okay here goes...I’m going to break it down for you:

The trailers & ads:

I was skeptical about watching this show as all the trailers for it were terrible.

As a woman I can honestly say each and every trailer made me cringe & go ‘stop!’. They were SO bad.

But, that’s not the actors’ fault. They’re given lines they have to deliver on & Ruby Rose seemed to deliver on those decently enough I suppose.

In the trailers, my biggest issue was the terrible dialogue & poor makeup/wardrobe.

The campy style Batwoman costume & the sloppy bat tattoos...ugh! Why would anyone think that would be appealing?!

Now, onto the show...

There is one & ONLY one reason I watched this show...my mom! I figured I had to give it a shot. But it was not because my mom like it. She in fact, hated it!

My mom, who loves everything from medical & criminal dramas, to shows about witchcraft & medieval times. She somehow even loves campy movies like Dark Shadows. She’s a huge fan of Wonder Woman (comics, tv show & recent movie). She loved the Captain Marvel movie. She is a comic fan and loved Batman & Batwoman growing up.

Yet, she hates this show!

After seeing videos & online posts ALL saying it’s because non fans hate the show because they’re bigots, that’s not true.

The show is awful - so I suppose the trailers were accurate.

My mother could care less what people do for their own pleasure- and like she taught us, “as long as no one’s being hurt & it’s consensual, who cares?”

So right now, just to paint you a picture, neither her nor I care about the lesbian storyline in Batwoman. I don’t care if she’s gay straight, bi, attracted to pumpkins etc. Have at it.

The reason I chose to watch this show is because my mother loves fun well written entertainment & sometimes just silly fluff to get her mind off reality. And as my best friend we have that in common. Our viewing tastes are very similar. So when my mom says something was terrible, it piques my interest (much more than those awful trailers).

The actors:

Most of the actors aren’t bad. Since Dougray Scott is in this I take it as a comparison amongst the others. If you don’t know who he is ...he was in Ever After, Desperate Housewives, Fear the Walking Dead, Hemlock Grove and a thousand other projects. He’s a good actor. However, in Batwoman he has a few mistakes with his accent & delivery of a few lines (much fewer mistakes than the rest of the cast).

But all the actors have mis-steps with their lines & delivery of the lines. Whose job is it to stop them & try again until it’s good? The director

Some actors aren’t as strong as others but after watching the show, I think the strongest actors are: Dougray Scott, Nicole Kang, & Rachel Skarsten. They seem to work with what they’ve got. Trying their best. But the dialogue!

There was a line about Kate Kane having mixed feelings for her sister & didn’t want her hurt because “Duh, feelings”. .... 🙄...she’s a medical student?? The writers gave the actor THAT to work with? Okay...um, they couldn’t have done a second draft and tweaked it? You didn’t find it needed a little more work? Like wrote this instead “it’s only natural to be conflicted...” which makes her sound intelligent. Instead, “Duh, feelings”?!

Unfortunately we come down to Ruby Rose. She’s not a good actress. She seemed to be more talented in the trailers than the actual show but that was because she showed something I like to call emotion.

What happened? Every single line RR delivers has zero affect. Even when she’s literally smiling there is no emotion in her eyes....what only makes her look psychotic. And she moves her eyebrows up & down sooooo much. It’s distracting.

However, she (like the other actors) does seem to be trying. With that said, if you can’t be pulled into the character or the actors’ take on them then it suspends disbelief.

I have nothing against Ruby Rose but knowing she was a model gives context. They work with their eyebrows a lot & any acting they do is for about 20 seconds of a commercial. It’s clear that RR is tackling the tv show like she would a modeling job. Only now she has a s****y wardrobe.

However, she can’t act. She is monotonous & sounds robotic.

I do think though that’s made worse by the director probably not pushing to do enough takes. Sometimes directors instruct actors to act a certain way which makes them sound worse.

Ie) Hayden Christensen acted beautifully in an old tv show where he played a victim of molestation. In Star Wars a Phantom Menace he was apparently told to act more annoyed then angry so voila he came across as a brat...

So I do wonder what influence the director had here.

The wardrobe/makeup:

Papa Kane, Leaders of the Crows, my man Dougray...yes he still looks good in his suits but he’s always shown wearing the same suit. Wardrobe actually helps tell a story especially in a show like this. But it’s like the budget is too small or the director forgot about anyone other than Kate & Beth.

Morning scenes, have him with a little extra stubble, some make up to look like he has dark circles under his eyes. Ruffle his hair. Have him sitting in a hideous vintage t-shirt while they have breakfast. Kate could see how awful he looks and ask “did you get any sleep?” Then they could talk about how worried he is for the city, Kate, or even thinking about Beth! Kate could see the shirt & go “didn’t I get you that?” And he says “yeah for my birthday” and she says “that was ten years ago”.Boom! Shows he loves his daughter & a tiny bonding moment. ...but this never happened.

Luke Fox. Somehow they took an attractive actor and made him look about 20 years older just by wearing glasses that belong to Angela from Who’s the Boss!

Give Luke some 2019 glasses that sit properly on his nose! And the same for the rest of his clothes. They don’t fit right. The show is trying to nerd him up but you can make people awkward, nerdy , or quirky without downplaying their looks. Have Fox wear jeans with his vests, or a fun t-shirt with a suit jacket etc.

Kate Kane. She has the worst wardrobe in the show! Though Batwoman’s suit looks tacky & campy...

Give Kate nicer clothes! They do not need to be expensive but they do need to give her a personality.

1) Plaid...why? Lesbians wearing plaid is a stereotype so WHY would this show advertising itself as modern & breaking the barriers have their main character wearing something so cliche? Makes zero sense. However, since plaid (aka tartan) is making a comeback in fashion they could have used it (if they really had to) in another piece of clothing. A scarf, gloves, shoes? (I actually have a pair of red plaid boots which are durable and adorable). Throwing on a plaid shirt is just lazy.

2) Her hair. Okay so if they’re going for the short-during-military-training look I get it but Ruby Rose has the same hairstyle in everything. I wish she’d just either grow it out or chop it all off. They could have had a scene where she’s fiddling with it in the mirror like she’s self conscious about the new do...showing human insecurities.

3) The leather jacket. Sigh... okay this is my personal opinion but I think the black leather jacket in shows is used too much. It immediately signals strength & a tough exterior right? Well literally everyone knows this. It’s not subtle. I mean I love how it was used on Supernatural where the coat had a history but it was tied into a backstory and eventually was used less and less. But the leather coat was used more in early seasons (which was as far as 15 yrs ago). Other shows always have the ‘bad boy’ wear the jacket. It’s so boring. I’d rather if Kate strolled you wearing a fun typographic shirt or a basic t-shirt and have an expensive belt because she has a thing for belts (subtly nodding to one Batwoman has to use).

There were many choices other than a basic plaid top and black leather jacket. Wardrobe decisions that could give the character/actor subtle layers or tools to work with. But that too was done lazily.

Set design:

Dark & gloomy? ✅

Isolated & abandoned feeling? ✅

Appropriate to the corresponding event... 🙈 not so much.

Ie) the bridge where the family’s car fell off. Whether it’s done with cgi or finding the right location, the bridge in question was generic. Now if the bridge was higher up and/or there were super super wild & crazy rapids maybe, just maybe we’d believe Batman thought Beth was a goner. But it was actual fairly tame so it made Batman look like he just saw the car hanging and go “hey my shift ended an hour ago” and walk off.

And,

The “secret” entrance to the bat cave is in Wayne enterprises? Wouldn’t that be hard to get to? I can picture Bruce hanging around in the garage waiting to go in...he starts over to the door, someone comes, he stops...ya know because everyone knows him...

It’s just weird. There were so many other options.

Special effects:

Some have been pretty bad so far. This is a CW trait. I don’t know if they separate the budget for the directors or not. Is it all one lump number or are they told ‘this is for the production & this is for the special effects?’. I wonder because other CW shows seem to have tiny budgets allocated to the effects. In any case, a show about super villains & heroes needs bigger budgets so it looks more believeable.

The writing:

The writing is just bad. Writing lines like “duh sisters” for a character who is supposed to be educated & intelligent seems ridiculous.

Question - if Bruce Wayne has family why didn’t he stay with them when his parents died? Or they with him? Is this a plot hole from the comics or just this show?

Unrealistic. Yes it’s a superhero story but we care less if the person has all their skills & abilities immediately.

My bff and I love superhero shows but we both had the same problems here as with Supergirl. She just had her powers & didn’t really struggle with them. I watched 2 episodes & was bored already.

Batwoman was so boring but I wanted to see if it got better. It hasn’t.

This show needed to spend episode 1 where she’s discovering how bad Gotham was without Batman & where he went. Is he doing a really long pub crawl? Saving people in another country/city? Dead? Kate shows zero concern for her missing cousin & for some reason, hates him.

Kate immediately knowing how to use the bat equipment with zero practices...how at the beginning she’s swimming in ice water for no reason and doesn’t get hypothermia?? That’s all very unbelievable.

Kate is written as Mary Sue. She knows all & has the most skills in the world! Why??? Okay so she was in the military so yeah give her a backstory of taking taekwondo classes or something but for her to know how to do Luke Fox’s job better than he does? Or where the cameras are at Wayne Enterprises...more than the security team?? And to know what the computer password is, okay... basically she has to be great at everything & the other characters have to be written dumb in order for Kate to be appealing. Why?

Bashing Batman...in a show based in the bat-universe. Terrible move. Kate doing this repeatedly makes us think she’s a villain. Not a hero.

Bashing everyone with male genitalia...makes Kate look like a pr*ck. You can hate certain men you’ve known but to constantly reference women as being superior to men...

1) negates equal rights. You can’t be equals if you act/think/say you’re superior.

2) any boys watching this show is going to feel like something is wrong with them.

3) it’s sexist.

Just like many of us women grew up hearing repeatedly that men were better at this & that...

4) male bashing IS spreading hate. STOP.

That is actually why (more than anything) I didn’t want to watch in the first place because of how the trailers made it sound like they were bashing a whole gender.

Too much too soon. Revealing Alice is Beth in the first episode? Why? Drag it out an episode or 2. Each episode is both boring and yet they try to cram everything into a single episode it’s bizarre.

Ridiculous scenarios. Like Batman would leave a child to drown. And why didn’t Beth/Alice just go home or contact the police...or anyone...when she got out of the water all those years ago? Why does Kate keep letting her sister go when the woman is a multi-murderer?!

Yes, Kate is still hung up on her ex but it was years ago & she was the one dumped. And Sophie is married so Kate is coming off like a stalker 👀

All of it makes Kate look unsympathetic & unlikeable. The show isn’t funny except when we hear bad dialogue. It’s trying to be overly dramatic like a soap opera but it still doesn’t work. I think that’s due to the writing & the directing.

Now don’t get me wrong, even with RR’s lack of acting skills there are ways of making it work...that weren’t done.

Keanu’s Reeves isn’t the most skillful actor but he tries. He’s good at certain things & sticks to it. He knows where his skills are. Yes he’s improved but he’ll never be able to pull off an intense dramatic role. So he sticks to what he’s good at. He’s also a good person & tries to talk openly & intelligently about things so he has people’s respect IRL.

Ruby Rose has been touchy & volatile about people criticizing Batwoman. That made me lose what little respect I had for her.

Awhile back I had tried watching this design show (yes I like those too) Love it Or List It Vancouver. The show was fine but the designer Jillian was being critiqued left right & Center on social media after the pilot episode for sounding like a child. She used phrases such as; “totally”,”for sure” , and used the word ‘like’ a thousand times... she really did sound like a valley girl. However, about 5 episodes later that was gone. She was speaking more eloquently and more grown up - which in turn made people like her more. She & the show worked to help improve her speech patterns so it wouldn’t be distracting. And the show has been around for years now.

My point? RR could have taken the criticism & worked with it. I get she’s probably upset as she worked hard but we all go through it. We all have a project of some kind at work that falls flat. We take the criticism & try to improve. RR could take acting lessons or at the very least, practice in the mirror.

Most of the other issues I’ve mentioned are a result of the awful writing, poor direction & likely some interference from the network.

What this show should never have done was act superior. That’s being a douche. Anytime I see or hear someone being arrogant like that I just roll my eyes and walk away (or in this case, turn the channel).

If anyone working for the CW and/or Batwoman reads this I hope you’ll take some pointers.

I like myself too much though to subject myself to anymore episodes though. I’m done. ✌️

His parents were very religious and a little bigoted, which didn’t sit well with him but he never spoke out against them. He was expected to get good grades and behave himself. Which he did. He was always putting pressure on himself to be a good son, feeling like he owed it to his parents for choosing him. He was never top of the class or outstanding in any particular field, but he was always up there. <br><br>

As much as Luke loves his parents, when he turned 18 and it was time to start his next phase of life, he moved away, far away to study. He works part time as a mechanic, having learnt the skills from his father, and studies the rest of the time.

The more he grew and learnt about what is was to be an Aphrodite kid the more he came into himself. He felt more at home and more confident expressing his interests and likes, now with no shame.<br><br>

He somehow managed to make it through school (not with the best grades). His goal is to study fashion, though it's a little hard avoiding monsters. The older and more powerful he gets the more he attracts. And so he is spending more and more time at camp. </div> </div>

This might be a very angsty thing to say but I kind of legit hate my dad. He complains all the time that my brother (who i think probably has depression or something rn) and I don’t help him around the house but 1) when we do he’s a huge asshole, literally calls me retarded all the time bc he’ll verbally tell me like 10 things in a row to do and my ADD ass can’t remember it like that and he often threatens me as well (and there have been incidents with physical violence between him and me). 2) gives us the most useless and asinine tasks i.e. vacuuming a BRICK PATIO or WASHING ROCKS. 3) will ask us when it’s convenient for HIM, my brother and I are 20 and 21 and have either a job or school and for a while I was doing both. 4) he is NEVER satisfied no matter how much we do.

And concerning the physical violence shit I have so much pent up feelings about it. As far as I know he’s never come after my brother like that. He may have hit my mom before but I’m not sure. I just know that once they got into a bad argument or something bc he was being really loud bc of a football game and then suddenly my mom was crying (she doesn’t cry a lot) grabbed us kids and went to our grandma’s. He’s also kicked every dog we’ve ever had, literally drop kicked one through a small tree bc it chewed the blinds and then left him outside to run away while he took off to who knows where to sulk. But my point is he has NEVER treated my brother the way he has treated me and it shows. My brother gets away with avoiding so much work and a fuck-ton of lying. My dad almost never invades his space or commandeers his stuff. I’ve almost failed several big school projects in the past bc he’d randomly decide to punish me or that his stupid yard work was more important and that it was my fault for not accounting for his random chores.

I literally keep a bug-out bag in my car and a knife by my bed bc of him. I spent my entire junior and senior years of high school with a stomach ache every single day and horrible insomnia from anxiety bc if he wasn’t threatening me with violence he was talking about kicking me out of the house for no real reason. His response to my worsening mental health was to make jokes or just ignore me when I managed to finally muster up the determination to say something. If my mom hadn’t taken action and helped me get help I’d most likely be dead now. I’m still trying to rebuild my self esteem that he destroyed. Then years after I was on medication (that he was opposed to and mocked, my mom was the only one on top of that) and doing better he had the fucking audacity to ask me about how I was doing. Me being like 16 yrs old I lacked the vocab to say that I feel that he forfeited the right to ask me those things so I just shrugged it off.

He insults and mocks every friend I have in some way shape or form. He also once told me that some older friends I was extremely close to at the time would eventually get tired of hanging out with an annoying little kid so I should get used to them not being around bc they would leave me. I mean he was right about that, and they were pretty toxic for me but that was really fucked up and I’ll never forget it.

I finally have a good romantic relationship now, with a boy surprisingly, and he’s so sweet to me. Every time he tells me anything remotely kind I almost fucking cry bc I immediately assume he’s lying or somehow delusional. We had our first sort of disagreement, it wasn’t even that big a deal he had just made a few jokes that had upset me, but I was so terrified to bring it up and was so ready for a fight that when he simply apologized for his behavior and promised to correct it I immediately broke down in tears of relief. I’m so terrified for him to meet my dad bc I don’t want him to belittle and invalidate us, or try and take away all our privacy in a weird attempt at policing my sexuality (he has tried something like this in the past with my brother). I’m also so scared my boyfriend will just assume my dad is a normal nice guy and that I’m crazy, bc my dad is good at appearances. We’re well-off but honestly the only reason my brother and I ever see any of that money is bc of our mom, she handles the finances (and p much everything else around here).

That’s another thing I hate is that bc I turned out okay everyone assumes he must be a good parent. I had to work so fucking hard to become who I am now DESPITE him NOT because of him. I had to work so hard to become a kinder person, and learn to motivate, comfort, advocate, take care of myself. I’m an intelligent person (at least i’ve been told I am) bc I work to teach myself, both in school and life. I had to learn all my emotional intelligence and social skills myself. I’m working to make my life good and full of the love I never felt from him and to a slightly lesser extent my mom. I’m still working at it. Which is why I’m just as afraid that he’ll be accepting of my relationship and be “proud” or whatever. Thinking he raised a confident and smart daughter. That he has any right to be a voyeur to my happiness or take any credit for it.

I work hard so work through so many issues he caused in me on my own. I work so hard to keep myself from sabotaging my current relationship bc I feel unworthy or like it will just vanish. I still can’t fully grasp that this boy could genuinely like me and feel like I’m worthy of his time and effort bc of how stupid and ugly my dad has made me feel my entire life. I have so many things I want to tell my SO but in the moment feel like I physically cannot get the words out for fear of looking stupid when he finally leaves me. I still have so many walls up with him and I really don’t want to but I can’t get them down bc I’m so fucking scared despite all the evidence he’s given me that he cares about me and just wants to know me. It’s honestly incredible how just having someone like him has changed me for the better. He makes me feel smart and capable, like I can have the life I want. He doesn’t see any of the shit my dad seems to see in me and hate. Like fuck the fact that I only seemed to need one stable and loving relationship in my life to succeed really says something I think.

I hate feeling like I can’t talk to my own parents, well mostly my mom, but they really make it impossible. My dad bc you never know what will piss him off or if he even gives a shit and my mom bc she will probably tell him whatever you tell her. I have other adults, my aunt (my mom’s older sister) and uncle (tho he’s a newer addition to the family, they married last year.) but I’m so scared to talk to them in case they slip up and let stuff slip to my parents. My aunt also just doesn’t Get a lot of things like mental illness so she can invalidate ppl and be mean. She does encourage me a lot tho, more than my parents EVER have.

My SO doesn’t have much of an idea of my relationship w my family other than it seems strained and we barely talk despite all living together. He sometimes half-jokingly tells me I should spend more time with them or make an effort too, and I don’t tell him that I’m not the one who fucked that up for us. I try not to talk about any of this with him yet, and I honestly don’t know when a good time is or how to go about it. He’s gotten little hints here and there before I change the subject. He has a relatively big family that he regularly spends time with, so I don’t know if he’d understand all this. His dad is a little similar to mine in the sense that he always seems to have weird projects around the house that he drags them into but it doesn’t seem like he’s violent. I honestly don’t know what to say about the physical abuse. I’m so scared of how he’ll react. I’m scared he’ll brush it off, I’m scared he’ll get super concerned or angry for me. I just don’t want it to change how he sees me. People seem to get the impression that I’m confident and that I don’t take shit, and it makes me feel so embarrassed that I let myself be pushed around by my dad.

If anyone actually reads this post and has suggestions for talking to an SO about this stuff (especially in the case of an abuser being good at manipulation/gas lighting) let me know any suggestions you have. I thought by this point in this rant I’d have some sort of clarity but I don’t really. My dad has been slightly better the last year or so, since we moved to a new house that’s bigger and we’re on opposite sides of it. After one of his worst outbursts (at the beginning of my senior year) I gave him a book about male abuse in an attempt at confrontation but I doubt he read it. He’s been better but I can’t let go of all these feelings. Older people tell me that eventually I’ll forgive him and move on but I honestly don’t want to. I don’t want him to just get away with treating us like garbage. Maybe that makes me petty and childish but I am barely 20 so. It be like that. Might make a separate post about my brother might not. I love him but dudes got issues rn.

There are mom friends right and I think she’s one of them?? she takes care of people, like James, who is a dumbass and she has to keep him from doing something too stupid. But also a bit of ur mad scientist friend who you never really know what they’re doing or what their motive is but nothing bad has happened so it’s fine

no stranger to a good party, but she’s definitely introverted and it’s not her most preferred scene

theo is quite sensitive and gentle, and tries to be a good and compassionate friend. But she’s also incredibly competitive and a lil bit sassy and snarky bc she’s quite dramatic and we love that for her

doesn’t really know what being loved and nurtured looks like outside of like her brother b/c their parents are awful awful awful so she tries her best but doesn’t always hit the mark :/

Theo comes from a filthy rich family and she has one older brother s/o to archie!

Her parents were total show parent types, pushing them to be the best in everything they did. Theo definitely internalized that message and it's like all she knows! She has always been super competitive academically. Like not personally, she's not too concerned with being against others all the time, in fact she enjoys learning from others, but she's been pushed so much into being the best bc shitty parents that she doesn't know how to not compete. It's just what she knows

Definitely was involved with the party scenes during her undergrad, although she's not the biggest drinker or user of recreational substances

As far as drugs though, she cares more about making them. Chaotic chem student vibes, wanting to go into medical chem, knows too much

Last academic year, Theo started developing really terrible anxiety both academically and socially, as well as being constantly exhausted, achy, and physically ill. It all kind of threw her into a rly dark place and at the end of the year she had a really bad episode that landed her in the hospital and she ended up spending the whole following year in and out of medical facilities and she EVENTUALLY was diagnosed with POTS on top of anxiety and depression :/ this was thanks to archie’s persistence in getting a correct diagnosis after so long of dismissal from doctors and from their parents because he’s the realest and he understands what its like :( so bby is sick and tired but trying her best. Also her parents just think she has to get over it but that’s not how this works luvs

This year she’s just trying to find some semblance of normalcy but it’s hard to keep up and act normally! Also she’s just..,., hella doubting the competitive culture and how conducive it is to student health bc her therapist tells her it’s not good and now she’s doubting her whole life and doesn’t know what she wants :/ just trying her best. Probably spending a lot of time studying what a nerd

i will answer for Vaughn Zander (Fall/out 4), Tamir (Fall/out Ne/w Vegas) and Kahurangi (Sk/yrim)

- OC’s full name?

Vaughn: his full name is Vaughn Zander, first name means ‘little’ in welsh and the last name means ‘defender of people’ in old greek (derives from Alexander)

Tamir: her name means “tall” in Hebrew (she cannot remember her last name)

Kahurangi: it means ‘sky blue’ in Maori

- Where were they born?

Vaughn: he was born in Boston, on 13 feb 2045 (he is 32 yrs old)

Tamir: unknown location, but close to Mojave Desert, she was born in the year 2261 (she is 20 yrs old)

Kahurangi: in Elsweyr, but now i cannot remember the year, but she is 22 yrs old at the begining of the game

- What accent and language do they speak in?

Vaughn: umm normal accent?? or i cant figure it out what accent he has, but he can easily change accents, and even managed to talk as a cowboy lmao PROOF . also he does know many languages, like sign language, Greek, German, Spanish, Italian, can understand Russian and Chinese

Tamir: she doesnt have a specific accent, and she knows english, sign language, chinese and very bit of spanish

Kahurangi: she does have an accent, and knows many languages, being easier for her to talk with everyone, as long as they arent bothered by her accent tho

- What flaws do they have?

Vaughn: he tends to be very lazy, sometimes is a coward, is very naive (with time he learns how not to be used by strangers), is sensitive, nervous, anxious, clumsy, sometimes may be arrogant, has a low self esteem, is insecure, very sarcastic, may be too honest

Tamir: has a very short temper, is very impulsive, acts before she thinks, may be insensitive for strangers

Kahurangi: pretty naive, noisy, trust strangers too easily

- What are things that they are good at?

Vaughn: great at medicine stuff, cooking, singing, dancing, telling jokes, supporting his friends and family, telling or inventing stories, melee attacks

Tamir: good at medicine, at shooting at long range, persuading people to do what she wants

Kahurangi: cooking, practice fire magic, telling stories, can fight well

- What are their pet peeves?

Vaughn: loud or high noises, rude people, anyone that is cruel to animals (especially to chickens), dishonest people, people that cant keep their promises, people who doesnt care about others and ruin things

Tamir: anyone that talks for more than 2 min, anyone that belittle her or makes fun of her intelligence, loud people, people that dont pay any attention to her

Kahurangi: people that makes fun of her or call her “rug” or “cat”, rude people

- What is something they do not respect?

Vaughn: the supposed ‘leaders’ that doesnt care about other people and think they are the best, anyone that hurts other people for their own ways

Tamir: self-entitled peoples, anyone that use violence to make a point

Kahurangi: idem as others

- Could they survive on their own in a forest?

Vaughn: he would be terrified but yes he can survive

Tamir: yes

Kahurangi: of course

- Are they social with others?

Vaughn: very social, can make friends easily and keep in contact with other people, which is essential in Commonwealth

Tamir: not really, but she likes to talk alot with people she trusts

Kahurangi: yes!!! she loves to talk alot on many subjects

- Do they have good social skills?

Vaughn: yep ;)

Tamir: not exactly, but she gets by

Kahurangi: very good

- Do they have a guilty pleasure?

Vaughn: alcohol may be his guilty pleasure, but he tries to keep it in line, sometimes he consumes mentats

Tamir: mentats, jet, alcohol, but in a low meassure

Kahurangi: alcoholic drinks

- How do they express their feelings?

Vaughn: pretty open with his closest friends, he even hugs them daily and listen to them, but he lets his mask off with the closest persons (Nick, H/ancock and Debbie know him much better than others)

Tamir: she is pretty closed with her own feelings, but she becomes more and more open with Arcade

Kahurangi: she is very warm and isnt afraid to show her emotions to those she loves

- How do they react when they are proven wrong?

Vaughn: will admit he was wrong, but inside he will feel a bit bad

Tamir: still tries to hold her point, even that she lost

Kahurangi: admits her mistake and apologize

- How do they mourn?

Vaughn: he cries alot and either he needs to be left alone, or being hold in someone’s arms and being comforted, he will talk later about those who lost

Tamir: she feels very upset and becomes more aggressive and prefers to be left alone until she calms down

Kahurangi: shuts herself down and wont talk with anyone for a while, sometimes she will cry

- When would they back talk someone?

all 3 would back talk those who really hate

- Do they gossip?

all 3 likes alot to gossip

- Would they ever be able to forgive themselves if they did something horrible? Example - Murder

Vaughn: no, and he would never forgive himself, but will do anything to fix things

Tamir: she would forget later but feels a massive guilt

Kahurangi: she would never forgive herself

- Do they care about themselves or others more?

Vaughn: cares alot about other than himself

Tamir: mostly cares about herself and only few people

Kahurangi: cares alot about others

- How would other OCs describe them?

Vaughn: “*about Tamir* she is very ambitious but she needs to be careful and not launch herself in actions without thinking” *about Kahurangi*: she is a great person and very sweet and kind, and she deserve to be properly respected by others”

Tamir: “*about Vaughn* a big fella that likes to punch things as much as he likes to act as a smartass” *about Kahurangi*: very nice kitty with sharp claws, i would go hunting with her”

Kahurangi: *about Vaughn* he is a great fighter, but also a great friend and has a good heart” *about Tamir*: i admire her energy and ambition, but she is very impulsive and that can lead to bigger problems for her”

- How would your OC describe themselves?

Vaughn: “i am not sure, but i try anything to be a good friend, a good dad and a good husband, and my friends seem more happy now since we befriended”

Tamir: “not everyone appreciates me but i honestly don’t care, i have other plans to do”

Kahurangi: “i believe that i am a good person, and that i can do great things by hardwork and helping people when they need”

- How would you as the writer describe them?

Vaughn: look i really really love Vaughn alot and im very proud of him and everything he does, he is a great person and he deserve the best (even that i hurt him alot lmao)

Tamir: a small but very fierce person, she can literally do anything that she wants, and can do good things in her life

Kahurangi: she is very sweet and i really believe she can save the land she lives in

- How well do they know their own limits?

all 3 do know their own limits, and they wont launch themselves in something too dangerous, and even Tamir does know when to stop

In honor of the100th episode of Supernatural Misha has worked on (He’s worked on 100, only acted in 99 though) - I decided to share with you guys, 100 reasons that I love @mishacollins as a sort of tribute/celebration to him. He’s done so much to change my life and I just wanted to put my love for him out into the universe. I also made this into a twitter thread which can be found HERE.

1.) He gives me strength to get up and get through my day whether he knows it or not. 2.) He cares about his fans & constantly strives to show just how much. 3.) He cares about minorities that the struggles we face daily. 4.) He cares about the LGBTQ+ community & has gone to far length to prove just how much. 5.) He cares about mental health & the issues that affect those of us who suffer because of our MH issues. 6.) He cares about disadvantaged youths and wants to give them an equal playing field (Free high school, etc) 7.) He cares about disadvantaged groups in general & proves it daily through his work with Random Acts. 8.) He cares about lonely Senior citizens & tried to brighten an otherwise lonely day for them (Valentines Day). 9.) He funded Random Acts - a registered 501(c)(3) charity on his own because he's the change he wants to see. 10.) He constantly runs charity events throughout RA & gets his fans excited to donate & put good out into the world. 11.) He runs GISHWHES - the biggest scavenger hunt in the world and most of proceeds from that go to charity too. 12.) His scavenger hunt often encourages others to commit random acts of charity towards strangers. 13.) He cares about the state of our country and how the political turmoil affects the everyday citizen. 14.) He is extremely invested in politics and is not afraid to speak his voice on things that offend him. 15.) He fights for the people. Not just his people, or my people - but all people. 16.) When he makes mistakes, he owns up to them and apologizes even when he doesn't have to. 17.) He is active on social media and gives us (his fans) peeks into his daily life, which he knows we always want more of. 18.) Growing up, he experienced the struggle of poverty & goes out of his way to level the playing field for others in that situation. 21.) He is an amazingly talented actor & with that talent has become one of the most loved characters on Supernatural. 27.) He plays himself on Supernatural (an angel) 28.) He engages his fans, even going as far as answering questions other actors refuse to. 29.) He's selflessly shared extremely personal stories of his struggle at conventions in front of large crowds. 30.) He supports intersectional feminism. 31.) He supports nasty women and acknowledges the world needs us and has talked publicly about it 32.) Even though shippers are historically snubbed in the SPN fandom, he gives us a voice. 33.) He's gone as far as to physically "Ship" Destiel and that warms the cockles of my heart. 34.) He married his high school sweetheart. 35.) His relationship with his wife is absolutely beautiful and a goal for anyone with a significant other. 36.) The love he has for his wife is visible whenever he talks about her, he softens up and smiles. 37.) He supports his wife's business endeavors no matter what they may be & defends her accomplishments. 38.) He & Vicki renewed their vows dressed in drag at an Albertsons and that in itself is amazing. 39.) He takes the time to maintain his beautiful marriage & goes on spiritual retreats with his wife. 40.) His family in itself is pure and goals for anyone with a family. 41.) He's a busy man but still takes time to be a great father to his kids and it shows. 42.) He gives us access to his time with his kids sometimes and it never fails to put a smile on my face. 43.) He brings his kids to conventions sometimes and it's adorable - there's NOBODY who doesn't love it when he does that. 44.) There are tons of instances where he has been seen comforting distressed fans on his own free will. 45.) He encourages fans to say hi to him if we see him out and about. 46.) He takes fans out to do fun things during his meet n greets, something which no other actor does. 47.) He has publicly stated he appreciates fanworks whether it be art, fanfic, crafts etc. 48.) He built his own house, proving he loves to see the fruits of his effort. 49.) He built most of the furniture in his house further proving he's a hard worker. 50.) He interned at the White House during the Clinton administration 51.) He made the engagement ring he proposed to Vicki with. 52.) He invited fans to join him during his bike ride for E4K this year. 53.) He teaches his kids about healthy eating while teaching them HOW to cook. 54.) He ran over 50 miles for charity & anyone who's ever even ran 1 mile knows how brutal that must have been. 55.) In 2011, he was named TV’s “Best Non-Human” by TV Guide which proves he's actually an angel. 56.) His smile is singlehandedly the most beautifully infectious smile I have ever laid eyes upon. 57.) He looks good in literally anything. 58.) When I'm feeling crappy about life, I just look at pictures of him and I instantly feel better. 59.) His charity is in partnership with a crisis support group that has helped thousands of people like me during hard times. 60.) He's not afraid to be emotional publicly and has even publicly cried before over issues that matter to him. 61.) His hard work and dedication inspire me to want to reach MY own goals. 62.) Seeing everything he's accomplished makes me not want to give up. 63.) His sense of humor is brilliant and truly funny. 64.) He's not afraid to make himself the butt of a joke and that kind of humor is extremely attractive. 65.) His humility (that I touched on earlier) transcends into everything he does whether it be his job, family or charity. 66.) He directly helps his fans - ex of which can be helping w/homework, sending them autograph replacements etc. 67.) He has posted his phone number publicly with the sole purpose to have conversations with fans. 68.) He truly regrets working on a movie about sexual assault & openly discourages people from watching it so we don't get triggered. 69.) He steps out of his comfort zone sometimes to face issues in the fandom that no other actor wants to. 70.) He takes the time away from his family to come to conventions for his fans even when he's extremely tired. 71.) His smile lights up any room. 72.) He very clearly says "fuck you" to gender norms & constantly does things like paint his nails. 73.) He encourages people to vote, even if it's not for his candidate. 74.) He acknowledges the importance of white people being allies to minorities. 75.) He is extremely humble about his incredible good looks. 76.) He takes the winning gishwhes team on a vacation with him every year. 77.) He has been known to talk about very personal issues that resonate with fans during his meet n greets. 78.) He is nice to literally everyone (I'm serious, even to the people he dislikes: note, trump) 79.) This is kind of unrelated toa lot of the other reasons but he's THICC HAVE YOU SEEN HIS THIGHS? wow. 80.) He's an anchor for a lot of people who constantly struggle with depression (such as myself) and he guides us back to a good state of mind. 81.) He's interested in the environment and he proved that during E4K this yr by bringing a geologist to talk to us about the terrain. 82.) His interactive gishwhes competitions inspire people to think outside the box. 83.) He's simply beautiful like have you SEEN a picture of him? 84.) Everything he does is to better this world and community. 85.) He is the purest person I have ever come across in my life and I've come across quite a few people. 86.) His smiles are always genuine, you can tell by the way his eyes crinkle. 87.) He has struggled so much in his life and even then, came out successful. He is GOALS for all of us. 88.) He understands the reality behind a lot of these online "challenges" such as the ALS challenge & truly cares about the causes. 89.) He is extremely work oriented and has been known to stay on set way beyond what he was supposed to to film & perfect his scenes. 90.) His voice is pretty much the single most incredibly beautiful thing I have ever been graced with the opportunity to hear. 91.) He cares about orphans, refugees & homelessness. 92.) I truly believe that he loves each and every single one of his fans. 93.) He's an imaginative goofball & that shows through with the items he has for gishwhes every year. 94.) He was the best thing to ever happen to me. 95.) This man is the epitome is what one should strive to be when it comes to their attitude, life & personality 96.) Whenever there's a tragedy in a foreign country, he tries to tweet his support in their native language. 97.) He continually shows he cares about the fans that go through struggles and need support. 98.) When I first found out about his past, I promised myself I'd stop self injuring & make something out of my life. I am now clean of self injury and have been for a while. 99.) He unknowingly helped save me from one of the worst depressive periods of my 26 yr old life where everything seemed bleak & hopeless. 100.) His love for life saved MY life when I was hellbent on ending it last year and I will be eternally grateful to him for that.

So yeah, if you ever want to even begin to question my love for Misha Collins- don’t. I will love him fiercely until my dying breath.
