Anyway killer is so fun so bbg (´ ω ` ♡) I think him and cadet would have fun interactions just like how naut and horror would (like fighting over you behind ur back) but instead of fighting, maybe they would work together to kidnap you for a day or something LMAO and then classic and dust will be so exasperated o(-(

Mech Cadets does something that is very cool which is having a disabled person actively choosing which aid is best for them even when people are pushing them to choose another expensive but prepaid one that's easier for abled people (including the real life ones animating it) to deal with. also he got rid of his prosthetic by stabbing an alien crab with it which is pretty rad ngl

Violet and Scarlett

Trivia

This marks the first appearances of Paige, Scarlett, Clarence, and Aziz. The former three previously appeared in Rough Sketch, the latter debuts here. This is also the first time Siren appears in the flesh.

Olive makes her first appearance since her debut.

Scarlett inherited Rosie’s old name from the original continuity. The names “Violet” and “Scarlett” came around about a month before Gamefreak agreed it was a good idea.

This episode debuts a new background style with geometric blocks of color to partially convey movement.

This episode also dabbles in consistent leitmotifs for certain characters; in this case, Scarlett, Clarence, and Aziz.

Aziz’s setup shows “Sore Losers” playing in the background. Coincidentally, that was Rosie’s debut episode.

No Gray Drewmans appear.

Happy (late) birthday to the guys! Swap has always been under appreciated to me in the fandom but I’m happy there’s been a resurgence for him. Ink is always an interesting character to study and I hope more people study his relationship with us (the artists/fan base).

I did @yeosin-n ‘s design for Swap/Blue which they’ve named Cadet and I love them a lot. They so often look irritated but I want them to have one good day (before getting into a cake fight with Ink and being mad their battle armor now has crumbs and frosting everywhere).

I also hc Ink as pretty short (at least compared to most popular multiverse Sanses) so Cadet gets to show off his strength and carry him

My favorite detail is I have their signatures on the photo card but they swapped pens :3
