Legally Blonde Time Travel AU because it’s my niche

First off I’m combining the movie and the musical cause it’s a crime that Professor Stromwell got cut but I love musical!Emmet with my whole heart so yeah. Basically, take the movie but put in musical!Emmet’s relationship with Elle and musical!Vivian’s reaction to Callahan hitting on Elle. Told through everyone else’s POV

- Set after the end of the trial and then Elle is sent back to when she gets kicked out of Callahan’s class. (via magical bracelet that Emmet gifts her from the thrift store as a celebration. Elle wears this bracelet through the whole story and enjoys the challenge of matching all her fits to it, and wow Emmet is such a good friend to know what style she enjoys :)

- Her new goal is still love: Love of helping people through law!

- And to reignite her friendship with Emmet who she loves like a bestie <3

- Instead of Elle being distracted by Warren she’s instead conflicted by knowing that Callahan doesn’t respect her for herself and generally uncomfortable around him. She still wants to do well in his class but dislikes it whenever he gives her compliments

- Vivian initially feels competitive towards Elle since she knows she and Warner used to date but is less antagonistic since Elle isn’t trying to get back with him this time. She does start to fall out with Warner sooner since she can see how Warner looks at Elle especially at the ‘costume’ party

- Speaking of the party!

- Elle is a better student this time (it helps that she already learned this so it’s more of a review) and she gets invited this time for realsies. She asks if it’s a costume party, an inside joke with herself, and Vivian jokingly says yes before clarifying no. Elle comes in her bunny costume anyways cause it’s a great outfit and that party needs more color than navy blue and solo cup red.

- Vivian starts to regret inviting her, feeling embarrassed to be associated with this pink clown, then Elle hands her bunny ear headbands with such an earnest smile on her face that Viv puts them on. I mean, uh, of course because Elle is top of their class and likely to go far in life not because of friendship or because she’s starting to enjoy her company.

- ... Or maybe it is because of friendship. She begins to question why she’s dating Warner when Elle leaves the party, clearly upset by something he said to her. 

- Viv catches her on the porch and Elle is shocked but happy that Viv came out to check on her. Elle waves off her concern and says she just needs a walk and she’ll be fine. Walking alone at night is dangerous even on a college campus so Viv makes her promise to call her when Elle gets home safe and they exchange numbers.

- Elle turns down the offer of Viv’s jacket. Yes, because she’s hoping to see her best friend (who she isn’t the best friend to in this time line yet but that doesn’t stop him from being her best friend) and the hoodie he lended her in the original time line maaayyy or may not be the most comfortable thing she owned

- The night is nice, Elle’s glad she can enjoy the walk this time and spends her time on the bench star gazing rather than bawling and crying her eyes out.

- She gets lost in thought of what she wants to do in this timeline, one of the first times she’s been able to completely relax since she got here. Def wants to focus on college this time. Become friends with Viv. Deal with Callahan earli-

- Oh hello Emmet! 

- They have their talk again. This time Elle is more cheery and why wouldn’t she be? She’s talking to one of her favorite people and she got back her favorite piece of clothing (not that she ever told him that and no, she never returned it and doesn’t plan to)!

- Emmet asks why she’s going to Harvard, not that she doesn’t deserve to! Just that it seems so far away from where she’s comfortable with if the way she’s huddling for warmth in his hoodie is any indication

- Love???

- She’s going to Harvard University,,,,for love,,, Well he’s only known this whirlwind of a person for a bit but he now can’t imagine her going here for anything else. The smirk she gives him hints that there’s more to her answer but she can keep her secrets if she wants to

- Emmet is honestly confused when she asks to be in a study group with him. She might’ve been tossed out the first day but since then she’s been a model student but he can’t counter the arguments she presents. Plus, there’s just something about her that’s captivating, maybe it’s how comfortable she is with him or how someone as smart as her is as humble as her at the same time. Making her laugh with his dumb “what’s up, doc” greeting, it’s something he wants to do again.

- Their friendship develops as it does in the musical but with Elle being slightly more touchy and both being just falling for each other a bit faster and neither wanting to admit it to themselves.

- Elle’s friends with the movie group, Vivian, David Kidney, Enid, and they all hang out together sometimes with Warren (Viv continues to question what she sees in him) and Emmet (the rest of the group feel like they’re all third wheeling)

- She still gives Callahan a resume when he asks for one. Pink but not scented, she doesn’t want to waste her best paper on him. Emmet finds this somewhat amusing since he’s seen her use the scented paper for grocery lists and short notes to him and thinks she just has a grudge against Callahan for being kicked out the first day

Not sure what else would happen :/ Elle definitely now carries a recording device with her when she knows Callahan is around just so that she can get solid proof of his behavior so that she can report him.

🦢🔥 Day Six: Actors AU or Social Media AU // “I haven't ever really found a place that I call home, I never stick around quite long enough to make it” 

Emma Swan and Neal Cassidy have one of the most sweetest relationships in Hollywood. The kind that actually make you believe in true love. They even share the same birth year and might even seem fated for each other, having crossed paths in the past more than once even before The Thief Who Stole My Heart. The pair constantly made headlines for all the right reasons, given that they’re not only insanely talented, but also incredibly smitten with one another. 

Here’s everything you need to know about the adorable pair! 

Eleven years ago, Emma made a cameo in Neal Cassidy’s hit show, Neverland. She appeared in the last episode. However, they did not meet on set. 

They finally met in 2008 on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where both were promoting their own shows. Neal explained what ran through his mind when they first met. “I met her and I was so nervous. I was like “Oh god, I think I’m going to fall in love with her”.

In 2009, both attended the Golden Globes Awards, where they sat next to each other and were both awarded on their own category, they even shared a few moments on stage, the pair walking together felt like a foreshadowing of flames to come. Years later Emma said that her reaction wasn’t all that different “At some point we were alone at the backstage and that was it. He just stood there and made me laugh. I kind of knew right away”. 

Neal Cassidy and Emma Swan were confirmed to star in the movie, Once Upon a Time in 2011, the first time they would officially work together! The reports also revealed that Neal decided to work on the film because Emma was going to do it! Once Upon a Time became known for Emma and Neal’s on-screen chemistry despite the plot calling for them to relate to each other through a monitor. Fans wished for a project that would allow them to film more scenes together in real life.     

The movie premiered in September 2012 with a good reception. The movie surpassed all expectations and the couple shared on social media their celebrations. Dating rumors began soon after Once Upon a Time as the couple spent a lot of time together at promotional events. Around this time, Emma posted a lot of photos with her co-star on Instagram. 

In March 2013 (Neal’s birthday month) an online post about the couple surfaced claiming that Emma and Neal had been seen traveling together in New York, and even dinned together with Emma’s parents. A photo of the couple grocery shopping together also circulated online. However, the rumors were denied, with claims that it was mere coincidence for the two to be in the same place, that both were just really good friends.

A few months later they showed up for the first time in public after the rumors. When they were chosen to be ambassadors of the same brand!     

In 2014, fans rejoiced as Neal and Emma were confirmed for a new project together: The Thief Who Stole My Heart. The series premiered worldwide in December 2015 and instantly became a massive hit. The couple’s romantic plot line stirred dating rumors again. The show’s finale with Emma and Neal looking like a happily married couple, was too good for viewers not to wish it was true.   

Following the release of The Thief Who Stole My Heart, both won Best Lead Actor and Actress in a Drama/Comedy Series at the Emmy Awards. Ss the show kept winning all sort of awards. On New Year’s Day of 2017 a popular magazine claimed that Neal and Emma have been dating for about eight months. The couple confirmed the news with a sweet post on their social media’s accounts. 

Emma Swan and Neal Cassidy were engaged less than a year after they confirmed their relationship, with Neal proposing in Tallahassee. “She did cry after I cried and we cried and everyone around us was crying” Neal told Access Hollywood of the exact moment he proposed to her “at the end of the day, she said yes, which is great. It’s a big part of the whole thing” 

In 2018, Neal and Emma tied the knot in a very private ceremony on the beach. 

Nearly three years into her marriage with Neal, Emma opened up about their relationship on the cover of Elle “Meeting Neal really changed my life, when I feel his support, I feel invincible. There’s someone behind you on your good days and in front of you on your bad days”. 

The pair became parents on August 2020, welcoming their son Henry into the world. Neal choose Twitter to excitedly share the news. 

The couple appeared again after two years to attend the SAG awards, where both were nominated for their respective project. That night was important since Emma was nominated for the first time as a Director.   

Last year Neal confirmed that he and Emma would be working together again. On a project that he wrote and Swan will direct. Unsurprisingly, the internet went wild for it. We can’t wait to watch their new movie.

Alvin is a vampire, lets just go with katakan, because why not

i might lean a bit into Book of Beautiful Horrors fanon (which i just realized inspired my other post about higher vamps, but for some reason, i completely forgot about it, until last week when i was looking again for this book) and say that katakans are great hunters, capable of tracking they prey just by the smell, but also having more special connection to the blood. like drinking of certain beings gives them certain effects - like how Gael even canonically drinks from drunk folks so he can actually get completely sloshed

but also if i combine it with how Erland never specified what actually are vampires eating since blood makes them just tipsy and isn't the main source of nutrients, let's say that vampires are lowkey like dragons - that they are actually consuming magic. so they would live nearby sources of power or like power nexuses, or like the Unseen Elder in B&W not far from the place where Ard Gaeth opened, which likely would still be pretty charged

which leads me to another point, if they're consuming magic, then possibly can they also use magic - and there are the different way this could be spun, for example, if let's say alp drinks bruxa's blood, then they can talk with birds for few nights, or like combine their own powers with the one they get from blood, and like give birds ability to dream, and then invade those dreams and shape them, like idk there could be some fun combinations here

so considering all of this stuff - Alvin is a katakan who drinks from sorcerers and that makes him so op

and he's at a point where it's not just about feeding himself in the most pleasurable way, by eating beings charged with magic, or just about blood addiction, no, it's about power

and because it's me writing about Alvin, whether i make a big point out of it or not, there's always a shadow behind him of that goth mfs red riders who influenced the way he understands the world - Nam and Nithral - so without deep explanations lets just say, that Alvin is a relatively young vampire, who was basically raised up by Aen Elle Wild Hunt deserter Namrevlis, like seriously who cares, it was always crack and canon bending bs

but the thing is, Nam and her blood smell and taste pretty uniquely like it's not a tone, but still, there's that drop of Hen Ichaer, of Lara's Gene in Red Riders, and i will take this fanon with me to the grave, and that, that taste of the Spiral is what Alvin is really looking for

which he ofc can't find because regular mages while still powerful, their blood making him almost a mage himself, is just nothing in comparison

and there's Hubert - he's a surgeon in Novigrad, just regular boring human, let's fuck with the timeline say in his 20s, but he's also the Source. He's the carrier of Lara's Gene. He doesn't want this sort of legacy, wears tones of dimeritium amulets and whatnot to tame his wild, never trained magic talents, but still, he's plagued by horrifying dreams of the White Frost

i guess would make sense if that sort of thing was more manageable when he was a kid and teen, but got worse with time, and also there are Witch Hunters all over Novigrad, so Hubert has to find some way or maybe mentor, do something about it

so he asks some people he trusts about ideas, like Gael and Queen of the Night, and finally, Queen is like yeah i know of someone, they help hiding mages in Wizima, but also they're very dangerous, and Hubert is like who is it? i need to know! and she's like it's the leader of Salamandra

yes im keeping Alvin being a drug lord, i find it the funniest part of his whole fucking deal

but anyway Hubert travels to Wizima and somehow get's introduced to Alvin, and he just gets a whiff of Hubert and he starts salivating

but Alvin is not an idiot, he knows if he will eat a guy in one sitting it won't sate him for long, and help him really peer through that veil between the world or whatever - he's a fantasy medieval business major, he's gonna put a nice collar on that neck

(i still remember it was supposed to be about mindreading, the idea was just more cohesive and compressed in my mind lol)

but Hubert explains his whole deal and problem, and Alvin is like oh ok cool, then we can have here like a mutual agreement - because he was somewhat educated on the Spiral by Nam, he gets and understands the things Hubert is seeing in his visions, he just can't hold them for too long - while for Hubert everything is just chaotic and a bit scary, and makes him feel lost

but thankfully all higher vamps (but true ones lol) have telepathic abilities, which means that Alvin can just look into Hubert's mind, amplify it by drinking his blood, if they meditated together, created like a mental bond between their minds, they could literally unravel the Spiral together

REGENCY-INSPIRED SCIFI

- does Elle have to  go to space-Harvard to get back her boyfriend, and then it turns out she really wants to go to space-Harvard instead, and there's a comedy of errors because apparently it isn't explicitly forbidden for women to go but there's not really any space for her?

- also good: her parents not understanding why she needs to get her boyfriend back/to go to space-Harvard, but supporting her anyway

- Elle follows her boyfriend to hyperspace test pilot academy, only to find hyperspace test piloting much more interesting than him.

ORGANIZED CRIME

- Elle's parents belong to the mob, and Elle studies law to become a mob lawyer? i'd buy this if her enthusiasm for fairness was a front, but I'd also buy this if there's a corrupt government and the mob is the slightly better option-- or if the boyfriend was actually in the mob, and Elle joins to get him back, and takes over while she's there, that works too

- (I have no problem with either assassination or murder, but I'd rather not see the longterm consequences of drug addiction though if you want to mention it that's fine.)

MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE

- Elle or Vivian need a scholarship and/or a dorm room and the one they can get is only open for married couples, and Vivian/Elle agree and then they fall in love (or not)

Star Wars has slowly sucked me into its sphere again, and I just think pairing Ahsoka (and Anakin) with the Vampire Slayer who defeats Evil sounds like the most fun. I don't care if they meet because of Time or Dimension Travel, or whatever, or because Buffy manages to open a pocket dimension in Sunnydale-- though I would rather read space adventures than Anakin Skywalker in a coffeeshop, trying to fend off vampires.

Does Buffy make up an alien she has fallen in love with, and then Ahsoka stumbles out of the pocket dimension and is exactly how she described her, headtails and all?

Or maybe it's the other way around, and Ahsoka gets a talisman from her grandmother for a summon when she desperately needs help, and she uses it (when she leaves the Jedi Order? during a fight she almost looses?) Buffy comes out of it?

Or maybe, instead of making Ahsoka and Anakin join the Clone Army, the Senate gives them a letter of marque with which they travel through the galaxy, fucking up slavers, and finding Buffy who coincidentally is also fucking up slavers?

Or maybe an AU in which Anakin didn't become a jedi for whatever reasons and instead became a space privateer, hunting slavers, and he finds both Ahsoka and Buffy and they become a team?

Or perhaps Anakin starts a flower business with his mother, except they run into trouble with the flower smuggling business, and while he's being interrogated somewhere Buffy rescues him (because real flowers in space is where the money is at, obviously)

I feel like they would not like each other at all. Or maybe they would, but they'd despair of each other's affectations, and would only barely be able to talk with each other before getting annoyed by the other. Or perhaps, they might even be acquaintances who met during their adventures, and were suspicious of the other's motives until they found out about their investigations-- of two different crimes that maybe turn out to have the same perpetrator?

- I'd love Jane as an immortal being, but I forgot to request something for that, but I'd also love her as a timetravelling hero who is quite happy to be seen as just a tottering old woman. Does Poirot notice her real self?

- Poirot gets notice of an inheritance from a woman who he never met, who thinks she has been murdered, and then he starts seeing her everywhere... (she could be a ghost? or it's part of the inheritance? or maybe she leaves a diary) This is against my DNW, but I'd like it anyway.

- So I do know that Miss Marple doesn't have a job, canonically. But it would be really funny if she had a flower business in space, and everyone always underestimated the trouble florist have. But there's many additional dangers to the flower trade in space: some people (aliens) like to send each other flowers from far off worlds they know are poisonous to breathe for that species, some people get high on flowers, and trading flowers involves some serious money (so there's a lot of smuggling of poisonous, maybe illegal flowers going on)

I love the magic, and I love cracky takes on this. I have read so many HP time travel AUs and tropey magical crack, but I cannot get enough of it, and there’s especially always a lack of my favourite characters, even though there’s so much fic already.

Basically, what it says. Does he time travel? Does Kreacher manage to go back to save him? Does he schlepp himself out of the cave and wakes up with a case of amnesia?

TONKS BECOMES LORD BLACK

So, I really think that this is an underused trope, because it would be so great-- the House of the “Always Pure”, gloomy Grimmauld Place with bubbly, pink-haired Tonks as its figurehead? Sign me up.

Perhaps she inherits because Sirius is in prison, and everyone else presumed dead, and her mother is the oldest? Or there’s a loophole for metamorphmagi to inherit? (Does she need to prove that she can morph a fully functional dick?)

Also great would be Tonks opening her house for Harry for the summer. Or tricky ministry politics by the Malfoys who want the Black House for themselves?

SIRIUS SURVIVES; SIRIUS NEVER GOES TO AZKABAN; SIRIUS IS EXONERATED

Pretty self-explanatory. Does he time-travel? Does he kidnap Umbridge and torture her explain that she’s overstepping her bounds? Does he make Crouch eat it? Does he rescue Harry from the Dursleys/boredom/Mrs Figg?

INHERITANCE WITH STRANGE CONDITIONS

Omg, really. This is the opportunity to go really wild. I hope there’s lots of magical circumstances, and perhaps vows or magical traditions. It’s kinda canon, too, with Dumbledore and his snitch, book, and deluminator, but I’d also appreciate a story in which they have to fulfil someone’s last will.

MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE AU

yes please! Tonks needs to prove that she intends to raise children, and finds a friend who needs a place to live so they can cheat the Black Inheritance Rituals, or something? I read this for contrived reasons, or for friends just living together, or for slowly developing romance, but all pairings I asked for are great for this!

So, the new republic took time to built probably, and I can see every single of the requested characters taking the time out of their busy schedules to start (and finish) a war with any of the pirates blocking the trade routes (and trading slaves); possibly even without permission from the New Republic.

Or, if you want to recreate the Trilogy with a space pirate dynasty, instead of a Jedi dynasty, that would be grand too.

- ‘Canon Character can see ghosts’, ‘Leia becomes a Jedi and goes after the New Order herself’, and ‘Luke turns to the Dark Side and Leia has to learn her powers to bring him back’ are pretty self-explanatory, I feel? but to reiterate, I’d love all those groups, together or apart.

I'm all for droid rights, and I feel like the droids are definitely under-utilised in their usefulness of bringing down the New Order. Or the New Republic. Or sneaking into ships and casino's to retrieve stuff.

Does General Leia try to resurrect the New Republic? Is her younger self aware of her? Does she steal a flotilla for herself and wage war on slavers/the order/politicians who blackballed her when she was younger? Maybe she sacrifices herself to take out the Death Star leaving her younger self more time to get the rebellion going?

LUKE AND LEIA RAISED AS JEDI

look, I'm not sure this request makes entirely sense within the sequel trilogy, but what would the far-reaching consequences be if Luke and Leia had been raised as Jedi? would they have had a relationship with their father's padawan? would Leia have noticed Snoke? would she have been tempted to go dark, or have gone dark, and what kind of impact would that have made on Luke? would he have felt as responsible as with her son, or would he have dragged her back the same as what he did with his father?

Dude, wouldn't it be great if a force entity could tell them who the Sith in the senate was? I always thought so, and I'd think Anakin would appreciate Qui-Gon's help with both Obi-Wan and Padme too. Or simply with not, you know, going dark-- or successfully freeing all the slaves, and the clones, and Shmi and while we're at it a robot revolution would be cool too (or just one of these things, I'm simply very greedy :P)

Qui-Gon actually teaching Anakin the way of the force (and possibly doing something about Shmi) would be great, too. Or simply seeing the change alive!Qui-Gon had on future!Anakin

With a fire for Berlin life and a creative flair, Julia has gained recognition for her culinary endeavours, singing prowess and all-round zest for life, all whist celebrating her Polish roots. Having moved to Berlin over six years ago the Warsaw native has set the city alight with her drive and creative intuition, being the mind and voice behind Polish Thursday Dinners.

We were thrilled to collaborate with her on our latest shoot in West Berlin and teamed up with the lovely hair & make-up artist Kaya Rose Birch. Julia chose her favourite designs from Studio183, showcasing her elegantly cool style against the backdrop of Berlin’s rich, cultural history.

Julia, you moved from Warsaw to Berlin five years ago. What makes Berlin your city of choice?

I actually moved to Berlin over six years ago, in January 2011. I dreamed of moving abroad since I was a teenager. Because my aunt studied art in Berlin, I came here for the first time in 2004. It made a huge impression on me; it felt so free and diverse, a bit trashy but at the same time beautiful and modern. Nothing like provincial Warsaw.

Since 2004 I came to Berlin every year, just for shopping and walking around with my mom. I remember that every time I stepped out of the train, I thought: man, I feel so good here!

So after I finished high school in 2010 I decided to move to Berlin and study here. The only problem was, I didn’t know any German so I had to start from scratch. I didn’t know anyone in Berlin and no one knew me. Berlin gave me the chance to discover myself, I found my way here, I realised what I want and who I am. It especially made me realise where I come from.

All these things make Berlin my hometown. Now, I feel more Berliner than Warsawian and because of that, I can see my country and my roots from a different perspective and get inspired by them and not suffocated. I can be creative. I can be myself. However, the most important thing that made me choose Berlin is the diversity of people and cultures. It’s like a small world in one place. I love it!

As a jazz singer and successful creative culinary event directrice of “Polish Thursday Dinners", how would you describe your personal and professional development?

If you asked me six years ago what my life will be like, I probably wouldn’t respond with, “promoting Polish culture, cooking and singing in Berlin.” When I came to Berlin, I wanted to be a journalist as I loved literature and writing. I didn’t speak any German so I had to learn it from zero to academic level. I completed it within one year whilst au pairing. A few times dealing with creepy situations, battling, escaping, moving from one apartment to another, but finally in October 2012 I started studying American studies at JFK Institute.

Meanwhile I met my ex who pulled me into the real Berliner life, events, parties and supper clubs. I organised all these things with him, I opened a little restaurant with him, I changed studies and at the end of 2013 I founded PTD and started singing. Singing was a kind of therapy for my very dramatic relationship. It made me work through it and then finally leave it.

2014 was the first time in my Berlin life where I stood up on my own two feet. I got a nice apartment in the heart of Kreuzberg, I started my own thing, I was singing in the studio with a band and co-running a café in Prenzlauer Berg. And of course, I regularly organised my dinners. I was doing a few things at a time, I was sometimes extremely exhausted but I was happy. Me and my former business partner Don, were holding it together, we had a strong group of friends (probably when I first thought to call us the ”polish mafia”).

2014 was a year of new things, I constantly felt as if I was performing in a movie. I made all the coolest hipsters come to a Kindercafe at which I worked. One night hosting the boss of one of the most famous former clubs, Stattbad Wedding, and Ritter Butzke DJs. No one cared that they were seated surrounded by teddy bears and a plastic ball pool. I also sang on a tune for fashion week in 2014. I was having loads of fun even if working days and nights.

2015 was a break through year. I organised a dinner in Stattbad for about 40 people, where I met one of the coolest dinner pop-uppers “Wild & Wiese” and guys from Lost In Wedding. I kept on singing, I met my producer Darius Gall, recorded songs, did a few videos, worked at the Portuguese bakery Bekarei, and did more and more dinners.  Sometimes struggling with fears and doubts, but I never gave up. And thanks to that and my communication skills, in the beginning of 2016 I got my first big feature on Freunde von Freunden, thanks to my dear, Jonny Tiernan. Since that was published, my career just cared for itself.

I was doing three dinners a month, hosting guests from all around the world, working five days a week in a restaurant, having gigs, travelling and sometimes working weekends on additional events. I’ve been interviewed by all the biggest radio stations and magazines in Berlin and Poland, showed up on TV a few times. I worked with official Polish institutions, and was even contacted by Ikea for cooperation. I still sing, I model, I was asked to write a book with the whole story. Now I’m planning to open my own location! Uff ! More work and bigger goals! World, here I come!

Please describe your style in a few words.

My style is simple: minimalistic chic. I have this natural, French flair. I probably picked it up while spending a lot of time in France.

How did you develop your sense of style? What influences you the most?

My mom was always a very stylish lady, I always observed her and admired her sense of aesthetic. She is an interior designer. She doesn’t only have amazing clothes but everything at home is beautiful. Additionally, my grandmother Marta was a model, so I guess the sense of style in this family is genetic. I also spent many holidays on the Cote d’Azur, where my family previously lived, and I keep on returning. The Monaco yacht style is familiar to me!

My interest in fashion began when I was 15. I remember I fell in love with high heels and tried to copy the models. I bought myself very high sandals and took them to Monte Carlo. It was a big challenge to walk the uneven streets in them, it was so funny actually, my mom was holding me so I wouldn’t fall.

You know, I’ve been grown up reading all the Vogues, Elles, etc., watching Sex and the City, imagining myself in these beautiful designer clothes. Well, dreams do come true!

Within the context of living in Berlin, how would you describe the development of your personal style?

I learnt to be myself in Berlin, also to express myself with my clothes. I chose the hipster Mitte chic over Polish diva-ness. I think white sport shoes, loose tops and “suit” pants, that’s my favourite outfit, with a leather jacket or a trench coat, red lips and my “legendary sunglasses”. This is how you can recognise me on the streets. And of course, because of my hair cut.

Why did you choose these specific designs for the shoot?

I chose them because it’s exactly how I am. An elegant, sophisticated business lady in a beige coat and sunglasses, a sweet French school girl and sometimes a rockstar. You can see that too, right?

What to you is Berlin style?

I don’t think that Berlin has a a specific style really. Maybe, ”I don’t care much” would be the right expression? Though, a few things are characteristic of Berlin style: vintage clothes, over-sized vintage furs and leather jackets, Berghain SM outfits, sweatpants, dirty uber partied shoes, but also Mitte chic, mostly taken from COS and Acne catalogues. I like that last one!

What do you think about the current style hype around Eastern European fashion?

I think it’s still too unknown. I’m in love with a few Polish designers and try to support them by buying and wearing their designs. I really think people should start being more supportive of emerging designers who make their own handcrafted clothes with so much love and care, and stop focusing on the well known, mass-produced brands.

Who is your style icon / muse ?

My muse and icon is of course my mom. She has this artistic, eccentric sense of style. Some of her outfits even I wouldn’t be brave enough to wear. After her, I’d say: Diane Keaton and Lauren Hutton - for their masculine feminine elegance. To be honest I often get inspired by men. Elegance is one of the most important things I admire in men. So guys: No style, no Bosski.
