i think one of my favorite things about the loustat reunion (apart from my being a loustat shipper) is something that i believe jacob himself touched on: after all of the horror that we saw, the message it carries is so incredibly optimistic. in a gothic story about undead monsters who survive on the death of others, we are given the possibility of growth and change. we may not have as long as they do but just like lestat and louis we have the opportunity to become better versions of ourselves until the very day that we die. just as they do we have the ability to learn until our last breath. we don't always have to forgive each other the way they did but we can always move on. every one of us. and that makes me feel just a little bit better about myself.

ok so in regards to this post i made yesterday i thought i would just like add to it.

going to once again state i literally have no clue what i'm talking about everything i talk about i say with like 99.999% uncertainty and i'm always open to being wrong and having conversations about characters and stuff like that's my JAM.

anyways, i have only two real possible like things to back me up on this:

the fact that it looks like a dear skull. in the comics we learn that theo loved to hunt and he would often bring home venison for lenore and it ends up being her deathwish meal. i also looked up a deer skull for this and guys as somebody who hates bones i did this for you all

i want to say the picture below looks like it's horse hair that's overgrown, or i want to say it's like bits of bark from a tree. either support my idea.

see the way that looks makes me immediately think of the way he died. since we all know he died by basically having a tree fall on him in a storm.

my only question is how did he get out here? because, being honest and this will not be poetic in the slightest, bro looks a bit deranged. and we know that theo, when he was at nevermore, was the top student.

which then just makes me wonder if he went rogue/he did something that fucked up his place in the spotlight and he was booted out and look he's here. i suggest all of these things not out of thinking i'm correct but because i literally have no clue.

There's a LOT of sexism and violence and hate towards women in "nerd spaces". With this being true, it seems super super unhelpful and in fact, willfully hurtful, to try and twist scenarios into being "misogynistic" when they're not. Call it out when it's really happening and let go of the rest. Just because YOU don't like what character is getting attention it does not mean that that plot happening is a direct attack on YOU or your gender.

Enjoy fiction, stand up for those who can't advocate for themselves and support queer people. Cmon. Celebrate a story about love and friendship and connections. It's a long long ass story, there will be PLENTY of wlw content to come.

Eileen is wandering through the flower fields of a large clearing. The sky is slowly darkening, the sun setting. Here and there, Pokémon jump through the flowers, then disappear from view again.

In the distance, there is a slight dim glow amongst the flowers. A different kind of them, one that shines in the dark. A soft, nigh teal glow in the growing darkness, pale like the moon. Eileen's steps hasten. Someone is there, tending to the flowers. When they hear Eileen, they look up. Silver hair tied back with a ribbon, stuffed under a somewhat scuffed tricorn hat. Her face is tired, and very, very familiar. And it is painted brightly with shock.

"Eileen?" Her voice is quivering.

"Maria." Eileen's voice wavers just as much, before she surges forward to grab the woman by the wrist. She is fast enough to grab the taller woman before she can dart away. "Please don't run. Please..." She pulls Maria closer, then envelops her in a hug tight enough that one can practically hear the creak of leather and bone. "Please stay."

"I..." Maria's hands shake. "If you wish..."

"You have no idea how much I do." Eileen's hug becomes even tighter. "No idea at all."]
