Tim's punishing himself with Jason's image. Jason, who has been constantly trying to get Tim to see things his way and work with him would lose his mind over that. There's such a potential for a toxic possessiveness to it all, Tim branding himself with Jason's suit and name. The assumptions Jason would make about Tim because of it. The way Jason could hold that over Tim's head, that they really are one and the same, and deep down, Tim must know it to some degree, if he became Red Robin when he felt replaced as Robin. I truly do not think Jason would ever shut up about it. As a fan of 'possessive/weirdly obsessed with Tim' Jason, I think this would take Jason's weird feelings about Tim to the next level. And if Tim will punish himself just by wearing Jason's legacy, imagine how much more he'd punish himself for falling for Jason too. If you'll bare wiÞ me, Þis real easy to set up, I promise. You install two programs (AutoHotKey and LuaMacros), write a bit of basic code, and do some data entry and you're done. You'll be tippity tapping wit whatever characters you want, 'cause Þe way I have it set up works for emoji too🎲_🎲.

This tutorial will link you to this github repo. Click the <>Code button and download the zip.

Unzip the zipfile and run set_up.bat from it. It will ask for administrative permission to so it can download AutoHotKey and LuaMacros.

Open LuaMacros and open quickstart.lua in Lua Macros. The code'll look like the tutorial. If you follow the tutorial you'll be fine, and you'll have a working system once you're done scripting everything. But you'lee need to script a hotkey for each key your changing which'll get tedious if you regularly remap or want to change a lot of keys. My Luascript, instead of having each key send a unique hotkey for AHK to replace writes which key was pressed to a file then sends AHK one hotkey to interpret. Replace the section starting after if (direction == 0) then return end with: filewrite = io.open("output.txt", "w") if (button == XXX) then filewrite:write(0) elseif (button == XX ) then filewrite:write(1) elseif (button == XXX) then filewrite:write(2) elseif (button == XX ) then filewrite:write(3) --etc else print('Not yet assigned: ' .. button) end filewrite:close() lmc_send_keys('{F24}') end ) adding whatever keys you need in your chain of elseifs like following the tutorial . This'll tell Lua to write an index value representing the key to the file output.txt, then press F24. If you need to do debugging, these four lines can be inserted go after filewrite:close, but before lmc_send_keys('{F24}'): fileread = io.open("output.txt","r") print("\nThe contents in the file are: ") print(fileread:read()) fileread:close() The main downside to this method is that you will need to have Lua launch in Administrative mode for it to be able to write to the file. I've not found a way around this.

Edit the AHK script. Add this to the bottom. directory= C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\Documents\second-keyboard-master F24:: FileRead, Input, %directory%\LuaMacros\output.txt FileReadLine, Output, %directory%\AutoHotKey\translation_p.txt, Input+1 if (output!= "") SendInput {U+%Output%} return Replace YOUR-USERNAME with your username. This will read the file written by lua and using that index to read a specific line a translation_p.txt file.

Create a translation_p.txt file and populate its lines with unicode values for the characters you want those keys to type. Þ is 00D4. If you want you're first key to type Þ, put 00D4 on line 1 if you want your twenty-third key to type Þ put 00D4 on line 23.

Copy and paste this to the bottom of your AHK script: +F24:: FileRead, Input, %directory%\LuaMacros\output.txt FileReadLine, Output, %directory%\AutoHotKey\translation_s.txt, Input+1 if (output!= "") SendInput {U+%Output%} return This is exactly the same as above except it runs when you press a key while holding down shift. Repeat step 5, except creating a translation_s.txt file and populating it.

Repeat this process for ctrl (^F24::) and alt (!F24::) respectively.

That's where my setup is at. If you want to take it further, each modifier is actually a bit of information so you can have any of them depressed together _+^! for eight potential key options, sixty-four if you discriminate left-side mods from right-side mods which you can do, but that's overkill for normal people.

Follow this tutorial and you'll have a second auxilary keyboard that you can type anything into. If you ever want to remap keys it's as simple as changing the translation_*.txt files. ☭ Have Fun ☭.

listen guys I love Peri a lot too, I think there's a lot about his character worth studying and that he's a good guy but you all have GOT to stop blaming Dev here when Peri is arguably more at fault!

Sure, Dev was mean to him, but Peri was mean back! And Peri is an adult while Dev is a ten year old child, Peri should have the capacity to not complain about him directly to his face, especially considering Dev has been emotionally abused all his life.

Ultimately, I don't consider it to be either of their faults. Sure, Peri was bad at this, but he straight up didn't have any experience except for Timmy, where he took up the role of a brother instead of a parent, a VERY different dynamic. Peri should've gotten like at least 3 different godkids before someone like Dev, to give him a feel for how different kids can be, and how you need to deal with different situations in their own ways. And that's just the lowest I'd advise going, he should've definitely had more.

So I blame the system for throwing him to the wolves fresh out of schooling, especially considering, iirc, Fairy Academy is canonically pretty terrible, as it's more like a military academy than an actual school. He had no proper experience, no way of knowing how to help a kid that doesn't seem to want to be helped...

My first attempt at writing that's vaguely like poetry: from a dragon

I am not what you think.

I walk around, awkward limbs and flighty mannerisms, and you think I’m strange. You have no idea how strange you would think I am if you only saw what was underneath.

Underneath, I am a creature of the ocean. Something that could never pass as human, and no longer wants to. Saltwater rushes through my veins in secret, silent to everyone but me. To me, it’s a roaring sound of the waves that I have never seen except for within my soul. It yearns to dissolve into the ocean like it could long ago, but for now those days are over and I am hidden underneath skin and muscle.

Underneath, there are wings; fins; antlers. They ache to tear from my back, through my skull. Nonetheless, they stay hidden for me, safe in the silence. Protected like I protected my kin in a lifetime so close to the surface and yet unreachable. Wrapped in a form that no longer coils around them like a serpent, but keeps them hidden from predators well enough I suppose.

I suppose.

I accept my form reluctantly and do what I can to make it mine. I shape it to feel better when I discover my gender, and when I can’t shape it to fit my true self I cover it in things that feel a little more like home. A little more draconic. A little more like the ocean that I never have seen, but feel homesick for anyway.

I do find joy in being in this body, at least. Out there, there are others. Angels working minimum wage, dragons sitting on a park bench, wolves buying groceries. We hide, but we do so to be free. We walk through crowds, and no one notices our scales and fur and feathers. But we do. We see each other, even if from miles away, and we see what’s underneath.

And underneath, none of us are what you think.

but okay i just want to say how it's been really really nice these last few months seeing so many new joe'marr/bengals blogs pop up and actively post and share stuff! i log on after work and i'm so used to being like 'oh i've gotta clip this interview or this game moment etc etc) and then i get on and see that other people have already done it! and they're getting shared and people are talking in the tags about how they're feeling about these wonderful boys and it matches what i'm thinking and feeling! there's fan art and fan vids and edits! there's over 50 (fifty!!!!) fics on ao3 now! (i remember when there were just 2!!!)

and it's just so lovely to see. how this little community has grown over the years. i can't help thinking back to when it was just me and nacs. and how we'd talk about these boys all the time. and how sad we were that no one else seemed to care. sure, there would always be joe posting, and don't get me wrong, i love him. but there's so much MORE to talk about! so many more stories and narratives to tell besides joe being hot (lmao). and finally it's happening! and i know nacs would be thrilled. i still go back and re-read old conversations and we'd get so excited talking about crazy joe'marr moments or tee being adorable or yoshi being ridiculous. and now that stuff is all over my dash with all kinds of people contributing their thoughts. and i love it i love it. i wish he were here to see this 💔

so yeah, i guess i just wanna say thank you to everyone who's been contributing lately! the newer people and of course my few beloved mutuals who have been there with me from almost the beginning. i spend way too much time on here but i enjoy it (most of it at least lmao) because of all of you <3
