#i understand treating your Instagram close friends list like a tumblr#I share jokes on mine that I would only otherwise share on Tumblr#but that’s because it’s Millennial/Gen Z/geek humor that only my close friends would get — and many of them came from tumblr#but some folk be out here putting me on their close friends list who I have literally never met but we have mutual friends#and they treat their close friends list like a tumblr but it’s a depression tumblr#2016-style#where you share sad nihilist aesthetic videos with slam poetry and romanticize toxic victimhood mindsets#and I can’t ask if you’re okay bc you’ve already shared in a vague manner that you have ‘trauma’ from your upbringing#and these aren’t teenagers these are whole-a** moms#like#is your husband on your close friends list. does he know. is he helping. why are you showing me this.#are any of your church family on your close friends list. your siblings. your best friend.#literally anyone besides a gaggle of near-strangers such as myself who do not know you as a person.
