From Now On (Spencer Reid x Pregnant!Reader)
------------------
Author Masterlist
------------------
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Pregnant!Reader.
Summary: After faking his death for seven months, Spencer is back just to find out you’re eight months pregnant. After the initial commotion and your denial, you both step into the apartment you used to share. Things have changed and you must talk about it.
Word Count: 3.3k
Warnings: Hurt/Comfort. Talking about gunshots, blood, hospitals, faking death, pregnancy symptoms, potential abortion. If I missed something, let me know.
A/N: I’m back! I don't know for how long, but I needed to do something to fight my writer's block. This story can be read independently, but it is the second part of Seven Months.
-----
The cab ride to your apartment is mainly silent. Your head is tucked into Spencer's shoulder as he rubs your back from time to time. His nose is buried in your hair, inhaling your scent. God, he had missed it so much. He had missed you so much.
And he missed so much of your life in the past seven months. And that scares the shit out of him.
How would he fit into your life now? Does he have any right after faking his death and not telling you anything?
Rossi and Morgan told him you would understand eventually. That you would forgive him for doing this to you.
And maybe you are really considering. Maybe that’s why you went for him to Derek’s in the middle of the night.
Spencer wants that more than anything, but he feels like he doesn't deserve your forgiveness.
Now you both are in front of your building complex. The one that used to be his too.
Spencer knows the concrete walls are the same, but they don't feel like they are.
It's a strange feeling. A feeling that gets stronger when you open the apartment door.
Stepping inside, he knows this is where he used to live, but it doesn't look the same.
The shelves are no longer full of his books. Gone is his globe and coins collection that usually laid over the desk. There are just a couple of pictures of him with you on the wall. The decoration is different. Did you paint the place? Spencer is almost sure of that because it looks brighter than he remembered.
He's silent, inspecting everything around him. The walls, the bookshelf, the furniture: all changed.
After you take off your coat and hang it on the rack, your eyes follow him.
You know what’s going on. You have known Spencer for so long. Even if you thought you lost him, you still can read him like a book.
“Hope isn’t look too bad. I needed to, you know, make some changes?” you explain, not sure how to put the last months in words. Spencer turns to look at you, guilt written over his face. He knows what your words imply and remorse eats him alive.
“I - I’m sorry,” he mumbles, sure it's not enough to erase the hell you have been through since he were gone. Since they told you he was dead.
“I know.” Your response is short but not because you don’t have things to say. It's because you don’t know how to start. “Uh. Would you like some tea?”
It's the safest path. The one you both usually have taken the times you had fought and then try to speak it off. It's different this time, though.
Spencer hesitates. In other circumstances, he would agree and sit on the couch to talk. But it's late, the day has been a rollercoaster and you are eight months pregnant. He knows you should be sleeping, or resting at the very least.
“Maybe it's better you go to bed? It's late and you must be tired,” he points, nervously fidgeting with his hands, his gaze shifts between your eyes and belly.
“Honestly? I don't think I could sleep tonight even if I try,” you confess, moving to the kitchen to put the kettle.
”I don't think I could sleep either,” he admits, following to the kitchen. He wants to help, but he doesn’t want to look like an intruder in your space. A space that it’s not his anymore. Noticing Spencer doesn't know what to do with himself, you invited him to take a seat on the barstool.
“It will be ready in no time, don’t worry.”
You are the one who endured months of grief from your fiancee, carrying his child, and you are the one comforting him. Spencer thinks it's not fair.
In silence, he looks with raptor fascination at the way you move around the kitchen. It's delicate and calm. You have a glow that captivates him. You don’t realize his gaze until you turn to put the mugs over the counter.
“What?” you question softly.
“You’re so beautiful,” he says, eyes entranced in you. You laugh, shaking your head.
“Come on, Spencer. I look like a mess. This belly reaches everything minutes before I can. It's huge! I can barely walk decently. Look at my hair! And my skin. It's sticky all the time.”
As you ramble about why isn’t accurate to call you beautiful, Spencer stands from the stool and rounds the kitchen counter to step in front of you. He wants to reach for your hands that you’re waving in the air to emphasize your point, but refrains. He’s still unsure about initiating physical contact. He rests his hands on the counter and clears his throat.
“I can certainly say it's not the way you are used to feeling. But the way I see you right now? I see beauty, power, and life. It's light what I see on you.”
You don’t know when tears started to roll down your cheeks. But hearing the adoration in Spencer’s words only spurs you to let out your emotions.
“You know my hormones have been doing a number on me, right? You’re not helping,” you complain, chuckling. After handing Spencer his tea, you take yours and walk to the living room.
You carefully sit on the couch and reach for the blanket in the back to cover your lower half. Spencer mimics your actions, sitting as well on the couch, but at a safe distance from you.
A silence envelops the room. Your hand plays with the strands at the end of the blanket, and your eyes scrutiny Spencer’s face. He looks tired, with prominent circles under his eyes, and stubble for days of no shaving.
He is analyzing you too. Even if your eyes denote exhaustion, he can see the strength that makes you look put together despite everything that has been going on.
He can see the protectiveness too. Rubbing your belly in soothing motions, shielding your non-born child from the unknown, the uncertain.
How much he would have given to be the one who could have protected you and the baby from the first minute.
“I guess you have questions,” you prompt. “But I have mine too, so if you don’t mind,” you trail off and Spencer understands what you want. He nods, preparing himself to answer whatever question you have. After a pause to collect your thoughts, you start to speak again.
“What really happened in that warehouse? Why you didn't let me go inside with you?”
You are talking about the day Spencer was shot and beaten for the unsub. The day he ended up at the hospital just to be declared dead hours after.
“I thought if we didn't split we could lose him. We were so close so many times. I thought it was our last chance. It never occurred to me it was a trap. That he wanted me there alone. I just didn't see it,” Spencer swallowed hard, remembering that day. You stayed in silence, waiting for him to continue.
“I heard his voice telling me he had you, and I panicked. So I ran to him. I let my guard down. When I realized he was lying it was too late.”
“But you launched at him. Why didn't you try to stall him first?” You asked, leaving your mug on the coffee table, feeling the suddenly urge to protect yourself with your arms around you. You never talked about what really happened with anyone. Not even to Hotch when he questioned you during the FBI investigation of the incident.
The way Spencer reacted with the unsub is something you never understood. The profile said the unsub was a guy who liked to show off, so trying to incite him to do that while waiting for backup would have been reasonable.
“The way he laughed. Maybe sounds stupid, but- I saw the resolve of an end game, and not like the typical bragging-end game, it was an evil-end game. He had the upper hand and he knew it. If I didn't do something first, he would have gone after you. And I couldn't let that happen. I didn't count on the hidden gun, though. Another mistake,” he breaths out.
You remember like it was yesterday rushing to the warehouse after hearing two gunshots. Once inside you saw Spencer lying on the floor, in a pool of blood.
“You were there and I didn't know what to do,” you recount your side of the story. “It was the worst nightmare. I screamed for help and it felt like an eternity before someone came to us. And your eyes-” You stop for a second, tears pricking the corner of your eyes. “You - you were saying goodbye and I wasn’t ready.”
Your resolve from earlier seems to crumble as you revisit what happened in that warehouse. Tears are now rolling down your cheeks, and you bite your bottom lip to stop their quivering.
Spencer wants to hold you, but he’s afraid of how you would react, so tentatively rests his hand on your knee. You are shaking and he’s worried this conversation could do more harm than good.
“We can stop. You are not feeling okay,” he points out. But despite Spencer's apprehensions, this conversation must happen now.
“I need to get this out of my chest. Please, let me do this. I know you need it too.”
Spencer knows you are right. You both need this.
“Do you remember anything after the shots?” you ask, and Spencer thinks for a moment.
“I remember being there, the sharp pain in the chest and my ribs. But most of it is a blur. I remember seeing you there. Crying. God. I hated seeing you cry. I think you held my hand?”
You nodded. “I was so scared, but with you there, I wasn’t anymore. The last thing I remember it’s the guilt of not saying I love you for the last time. I really thought it was the end for me,” he admits, his own tears blurring his sight.
“It was for me, though,” you mumbled, a sad look in your eyes. “I mean, I still had hopes when you were moved to the hospital, but deep down I knew I shouldn’t have had them. And everything shattered when JJ came to the waiting room and told us you didn't make it.”
A heavy sigh escapes from Spencer’s lips. Neither JJ nor Hotch had told him how they let it know the team he was ‘gone.’
“I can’t even imagine - It was unfair to you. And I know no matter what I say it won’t make it better.”
Your thoughts wander to the moment after you heard JJ saying Spencer was dead.
Disbelief. Pain. Denial.
And then, days of numbness.
“You know. I just shut off. I have some flashbacks. Rossi hugging me; Hotch telling me to take all the time I needed; Morgan crying with me.”
It feels weird to recall those memories as yours, like an alternative universe that turned different at the end.
“Where did you go?” Spencer asks. The thought of you in the apartment alone after that breaks his heart.
“Emily took me to her place because I couldn't put a foot here. I stayed with her for a couple of days. She helped me a lot to get through this,” you recognize. And for that, you will always be grateful to her.
You also tell Spencer about how the whole team helped you to make it through the days. Some kind of relief washes over him knowing you didn't face it alone.
He can’t fathom how difficult it was for you, also knowing you were pregnant. And about that...
“When did you find out?” He asks, eyes darting to your belly. You follow his gaze trajectory and a little smile creps on your face.
“Almost a month later. I was feeling sick all the time. Emily pushed me to get checked. They took blood tests and stuff. When they told me I couldn't believe it. For me, it was a twisted joke,” you admit, hanging your head low.
Spencer dreads asking the next question but you already know what is, so you keep talking.
“Yes. I had thought about it. I didn't feel in a good place to be a mom, Spencer. I barely could make it through the days. And having a baby? Fuck, just thinking about it was too much.”
You tell him about how you cried your eyes out. How lost you felt for days. The doubts about the future, but above everything, the protectiveness that aroused in you once the idea settled. Yeah, you couldn’t keep Spencer safe, but you were determined to save the part of him growing in you.
“And seven months later, here I am. About to give birth to our baby,” you conclude, lovingly rubbing your belly.
“It’s weird, you know?” Spencer begins. “The last time I saw you and now. It feels like I lost time. And I know I lost it. It’s just - I never expected to see things so changed. I don’t know how I fit here. What I’m saying doesn’t make any sense right now-” he trails off, darting his gaze to the fidgeting hands on his lap.
He’s been holding back. You notice. Since you both crossed the threshold he has been afraid of invading your personal space, of touching you. Now it makes sense.
“That's why you have been keeping your distance from me?” you ask. Spencer’s eyes quickly flash to you. Guilt is written on his face.
“What?”
Your gaze soften seeing him so stressed by being caught. It's true the past months have been tough for you, but they have been tough for him too. And to see a before and an after so different probably has him reeling.
“Since we put a foot in this apartment you have kept a safe distance. I’m not judging you, I really don’t. I just want to know what’s on your mind right now,” you explain, shifting on the couch to change your position. With an eight-month belly is difficult to be comfy in any position.
Spencer sighs. There are so many things revolving inside his brain that it’s not easy to put them in words.
“When I woke up in a hospital bed in Bethesda, the first thing I looked for was if you were there. But I was alone. A strange feeling squeezed my chest. For a moment I thought -” he pauses to take a breath. “I thought everything had gone wrong and the unsub had hurt you or the team, or both. I was about to freak out when a marshal came and explained to me what happened.”
Spencer recounts how the agent told him about his new destination and how this assignment was for an undetermined time.
“Since then, not a single day passed without the urge to take a plane and come back. To you. But what if I messed up putting you at risk doing so? It was insane to know I was dead for you and I couldn't do anything to fix it.”
“That's why you wrote the letters?” Spencer nodded. In a notepad, he wrote a letter to you every single day since he landed in Paris. He handed you the notepad at the BAU this afternoon before you stormed out, completely shaken and confused.
“I needed to put in words each day without you. I needed to tell you I was there, even if you never could read it.”
His shaky breath forces him to take some seconds to compose himself. You took that as your cue. Shifting again, you scoot a bit closer to him and reach tentatively for his hand, and he clings to it as if his life depended on it.
“And I’m here right now. And so do you,” you squeeze his hand reassuringly. “I’m as scared as you are, but we need to do something to get through this. If it is something you want to do,” you add. Spencer's glassy eyes find yours.
“It's all I want. Maybe it's hard for me to understand I can’t fix something like this, but I want a chance to make us work again. I know I can’t get back time, but if you let me I want to gain back the place I lost the day I gone.”
Spencer’s free hand flies to your cheek to wipe with his thumb the tears you haven’t noticed are falling.
“We can start with something,” you prompt, reaching for a folder resting at the coffee table. After opening it, you produce a bunch of ultrasound pictures and hand them to him. From the first appointment you had, to the last one from a week ago.
Spencer’s eyes sparkle with excitement, seeing every detail and the way the baby has grown in the past months.
Tears fall freely and there is pure emotion that fills his heart.
So many nights you both spent talking about what it would be like to have a baby. How wonderful it would be to see them grow. About what traits they would inherit from each of you.
You smile at the scene unfolding in front of your eyes. It feels so good to see in him the same excitement you have. You both wanted this. And until today you thought only you would get the chance to experience it.
After inspecting and committing to memory each detail from each pic, Spencer’s eyes find yours again.
“Do you know the baby’s-” he trails off. He’s unsure, maybe you didn't want to know or want him to know.
You have known the baby’s gender for a while now but have not told to anyone. From the same folder, you extract an envelope you offer to him. With trembling hands, Spencer takes it and gets the paper from inside. Scanning the words he realizes it is the information of your baby’s gender.
“It's - it's a girl,” he reads aloud with a cracking voice and more tears in his eyes. You nod, your own tears clouding your vision.
“Yes. Do you remember when we talked about having a baby and you told me you wanted a girl? When I found out the gender, I thought about how happy you would have been,” you sniffle, and Spencer reaches for you, now wrapping you in a loving embrace.
“Thank you. Thank you so much,” he repeats over and over, kissing your temple. You close your eyes, losing yourself in his chest, inhaling his scent.
You stay like this for a moment. Contently in each other arms. Spencer still can’t believe he got the chance to hold you again, and you are still assimilating the day’s events. It's unbelievable how everything changed in less than twenty-four hours.
“I love you,” he mumbles in your hair, a hand moving to rub your belly. “And I love you,” he says now, talking to your baby.
“We love you too, Spencer,” you respond, voice thick with emotion. “I never stopped, and we will never stop.”
Parting from your embrace, you get lost in each other's eyes. Communicating without words what this moment means to both of you. Cupping your face, Spencer leans to find your lips with his in a loving kiss. You kiss him back, pouring all your feelings.
It's a new promise of love.
After breaking the kiss, he presses his forehead to yours.
“Will we be okay?” he asks, almost in a whisper.
“From now on, we will be,” you assure him. It feels like you are telling this to yourself too. Maybe you do. Everything still looks messy right now, but life is giving you a second chance, and neither Spencer nor you is willing to let it go.

MasterList ML2
It sucks when your whole life gets turned upside down. A group of friends being torn apart because of an adulterous act. Derek had come home one night to see his wife Addison Montgomery in bed with his best friend Mark Sloan... Mark Sloan just happened to be the boyfriend of y/n L/n. Both Addison and Mark cheated on Derek and y/n. Ruining their relationships forever.
Y/n felt terrible, her heart ached. She felt like she should have seen it coming, she thought she should have seen the signals. She was mad and heartbroken when I found out Mark cheated on her with Addison. Most of all, she was angry at Addison for cheating on Derek. Derek was y/n’s best friend and seeing him that heartbroken hurt worse.
Derek hated both Addison and Mark. Not only did they ruin his relationship and marriage, but they also hurt y/n as well. Derek was so upset that he decided to leave town. He was tired of the lies from Addison and Mark. He just wanted to move on. He knew he couldn't if he stayed there. That's when he and y/n made the move to Seattle together.
~~~~~~~~(.......)~~~~~~~~
They both got drunk the first night they were in Seattle. Derek and her went to this small bar that was across the street from the hospital. Y/n never got drunk, she didn't like drinking but that's just how the night went. And too bad it took them being drunk to realize there was something between them.
Once they got drunk Derek started noticing things about her he had never noticed before. He started to see her in a new light. It made him see how beautiful she was. His feelings for her grew the more drunk they got.
“God I hate him” y/n rambled about Mark. “I wish I never fell in love with him”
Derek listened to everything y/n had to say. He hated that she loved a man like Mark. She deserved so much better. Derek couldn't wait to show her how much better he was for her…
“I hate her too” y/n sighed then looked over at Derek, there was just something there she hadn't noticed before. They always had some kinda connection, but always played it off as being best friend
She noticed his smile, his blue eyes. She always considered him a platonic soulmate, but maybe... Just maybe there was something more. Derek looked over at y/n. Her lips looked so soft. Her hair was perfectly curled. She stood out like a diamond, She was beautiful. Derek had never thought he would feel this way towards her. But as the night went on he realized there was something inside of him that was growing for her. He realized that he was falling in love with her. He had never felt this way before for anyone.
They both sat there wondering what would have happened if they chose each other instead of Mark and Addison. Derek always wondered what it would be like if y/n chose him over Mark. If y/n had chosen him, Addison would never have broken his heart. Would they have settled down with each other and had children? Had a family? The thoughts were racing through Derek's mind while he continued to stare at y/n. He wanted to make his move.
“Why are you looking at me like That?” she chuckled drunkenly.
Derek didn't realize that his lustful gaze was showing. He felt his cheeks burn red from embarrassment. He cleared his throat. “because your beautiful”
She blushed and looked away. “your just saying that”
Derek wanted her to know she was beautiful and he wasn't just saying that. He moved closer to her. “no. I mean it. You're so beautiful. I've never told you that before. But I'm gonna tell you now. You're gorgeous…”
She don't know what possessed her, but she placed her hand on his jaw and pressed her lips to his. Derek was absolutely shocked when y/n pressed her lips to his, that she had initiated it first. He pulled away, staring into her eyes. “Mark is stupid for letting something as amazing as you go” Derek whispered, he had been wanting this for so long. Derek immediately placed his hands on her hips and pulled her close to him. He kissed her with all the emotion and longing that had built up inside of him. He wanted her and he was going to get her.
Her lips parted and gently brushed her tongue against his lips, running her fingers through his hair
He kept kissing her deeply as he ran his hands up her torso, towards her neck. Derek couldn't wait to explore every inch of her.
Y/n slowly pulled away, resting her forehead against his as she tried to catch her breath and tried to focus my drunken mind. Now all logic was throwing away, she inched her face closer to his again, nudging her nose against his, hovering her lips over his. She couldn't get enough of the intoxicating scent of his cologne. Her eyes were fixed downward,watching his hands roam the outline of her body.
Derek's hands wrapped around her waist as he pulled her closer to him. They were both losing reason and logic. They were caught up in the moment. Derek felt their warmth building between them and it was turning him on, He wanted more. His hands wandered up her back now and they slowly ran through her hair. The smell of lavender wafted up to his nose and he was lost in her.
Before things could get too far, y/n pressed her hands to his chest, stopping him. “you wanna get out of here?”
Derek quickly nodded. “yeah, let's get out of here”
~~~~~~~~(.......)~~~~~~~~
As soon as they got back to the trailer, her lips were back on his, the kiss was messy and rushed. Y/n quickly pushed his jacket off his shoulders as he pushed her backwards towards the kitchen counter. She moaned against his lips, running her fingers through his hair. Getting them lost in his soft, perfect hair.
Derek was absolutely stunned by her boldness. This was the moment he had been longing for all this time. He was ecstatic that she was finally showing him this side of her. He threw his coat to the side with the rest of their stuff and began to kiss her with more passion. His hands roamed from her back down her body, giving her ass a squeeze. He was feeling her up the way he had wanted to since the moment he met her.
He couldn't help but want more. His hands squeezed her butt and his lips kept on exploring hers while he moved her back towards the bed. His body was pushed against hers and he leaned her back. There was no going back now. Y/n fell backwards on his bed, pulling him down with her. She moaned softly, tugging on his hair as his lips and the scruff on his jaw brushed against her neck.
Derek loved her reaction, the moans she let out were sending shivers down his spine. Her touch felt so good on him. Derek could feel her body pressing against his. He was enjoying her just as much as she was enjoying him. He wanted to kiss every inch of her. He finally had the chance to make her his and he wasn't going to let her slip away from him.
“D-derek” she moaned softly.
Derek loved how his name coming from her mouth sounded. Hearing her breathless voice gave him everything he needed to continue on with her. His hands ran up and down her body and his lips traveled across her neck and down to her shoulders. His mouth was finally exploring her body in ways that he had wished he could do for so long. His scruff was rough on her soft skin. His lips were gentle and tender. His touch was so hot and passionate. He loved the way she tasted and smelled, every inch of her was perfect to him.
They were running on nothing but alcohol, bottled up feelings, and passion. Their clothes were gone in seconds and they fell into each other's temptations.
--------(1st pov)--------
The next morning I woke up with a hangover, my head was pounding. I looked around and noticed I was in Derek's bed and not my own. I peaked under the covers and we were both naked. Derek was still asleep, I slowly sat up and grabbed his red shirt from last night and covered my bare chest with it. I sat there processing the whole night, I didn't feel regret or anything, but when something feels so good, how can it not be bad. “Derek, wake up” I said, nudging his naked shoulder.
Derek's eyes slowly opened and he sat up from the bed, stretching and yawning. He turned his head in my direction and he froze when he noticed his shirt covering my chest. His eyes grew wide, but there was a smirk on his face.
“So... Umm…” I looked down shyly. “we umm... Last night, didn't we?” I asked softly.
Derek laid on his back, smirking to himself. “yeah… Yeah we did”
I moved my messy hair out of my face. “we're no better than them,” I mumbled, thinking about Addison and Mark. They slept together, they were in the wrong, but what about us?.
Even if I was right or wrong, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief from last night. The bond we formed last night was undeniable. I had wanted him for so long and we finally had our chance. Mark and Addison may have won the battle, but there was this feeling that we were gonna win the war.
I fell backwards in the bed, laying on my back next to him. I rubbed my face processing everything. I didn't regret it one bit, but I wished it happened at a different time. “God... I just had sex with a married man” I mumbled, covering my face.
He rolled over on his side, facing me. He kissed my shoulder with a smirk on his face. “Separated... I'm not with Addison anymore” he kissed my cheek then looked at me with those pretty blue eyes. “and I gotta say... That was the best sex I ever had…”
I uncovered my face and turned my head towards him, smiling. “Dito”
Derek smiled. “Do you... umm... regret what we did last night?”
“No... Do you?” I asked softly.
Derek shook his head in a no. “I wanted to do that for so long.” he leaned forward and brushed his lips against mine for a soft loving kiss.
Derek pulled me close, kissing me deeply with no regrets between us. My heart fluttered as he kissed me passionately. This feeling was so new to me, but definitely wanted. His hands grabbed my hips and pulled me against his chest. The scruff on his jaw hitting my chin and cheeks. I smirked against his lips and placed my hand on his jaw, feeling the scruff that peppered his jaw. I pulled away from the kiss and rested my forehead against his, I rubbed my thumb over his cheek gently. “like this...” I mumbled, referring to his scruff. When he was with Addison he was always clean shaved. She liked it that way, I didn't matter if he wanted to let it grow.
“You like it?” his eyebrow raised with a smirk on his face.
“Yeah... It's sexy”
When he was with Addison he definitely shaved daily. But he was trying keep his scruff now. He liked the way he looked with a little bit of scruff now. He kissed my cheek slowly. “I'll keep it for you then” he smirked again.
I smiled, pulling him down for another kiss and slowly ran my fingers through his hair. I pulled away from the kiss gently. “we need to get ready for work...”
“yeah... First day” Derek chuckled and kissed my nose before climed out of bed.
~~~~~~~~(few months later)~~~~~~~~
I had to admit Seattle was just a better place to be than new York. No one knew us except Richard Webber, he still didn't know about our relationship and that was okay. As the months went by it was made clear that our firsr night here ment everything. We just fit too well together, even if that sounded cheesy. Being beat friends in the past nothing much changed except we were now kissing, cuddling, and having quickies in the shower.
Mark had tried to call me numerous of times, I hadn't awnsered once. I wasn't ready to talk to him, but I think I was ready to forgive him. I had moved on and was happy with Derek, so there was no reason to hate him. Addison is a different story. I couldn't believe it when she showed up in Seattle.
“Addison... what are you doing here?” Derek asked.
I couldn’t even looked Addison in the eyes. I kept my head down and my anger bottled up.
“you would have know if you had botherd to return any one of my phone calls” Addison turned to me. “or awnsered the phone when Mark calls”
“I have nothing to say to him” I said bitterly.
“of course not, your too busy screwing my husband” Addison shot back.
“that's rich” I snapped back. “you were too busy screwing my boyfriend”
Derek grabed my arm, rubbing it affectionately. He stared at Addison with betrayal and anger. “is there something you need? What are you doing here?”
Addison had a smug look on her face as she looked Derek up and down. I couldn't help but feel territorial, but at the same time insucre. I always thought Addison was prettier than me.
“your hair is different” Addison said, dodging the subject. She went to reach for his hair, but I pushed her hand away. Derek smirked slightly, but it disappeared and he turned back to Addison. “a lot of things are different”
“it's longer” Addison continued. “what's your problem?” I asked annoyed.
“what are you doing here?” Derek asked again.
“Relax, guys, I'm here for work. I'm helming the T.T.T.S. case you guys admitted last week. And after Richard's briefing...” Addison said, rolling her eyes.
“bullshit” I said. I didn't believe a word that came out of this woman's mouth. “I swear to God, if you brought Mark with you...”
“it's cute...” Addison started sarcastically. “That whole wide-eyed "ooh, he's a brain surgeon" act you have going on... It's sweet. Which is what you were going for, right? The anti-Addison”
I shook my head, staring daggers into her. She smirked like she had the upper hand now. I didn't know it was possible to love and hate someone so much. Addison was always like an older sister to me, I looked up to her and wanted to be like her. Not now she betrayed me... But in a sences I betrayed her too.
“let's go” Derek said in a hard tone and grabed my hand. I looked into Addison's eyes and showed her nothing but hurt as Derek pulled me away.
~~~~~~~~(.......)~~~~~~~~
“why is she back!?” I yelled at Derek.
“I don't know! Why are you yelling at me?” Derek snapped back as he paced back and forth in his trailer. I don't know why we were taking this out on each other, it hurt we resorted to this.
“I don't know!” I sighed and sat down on his bed, rubbing my face in frustration. I think we weren't yelling at each other, just yelling in general. We were both frustrated.
Derek sighed and gave me a gental expression. “you know her coming here means nothing, right?”
I looked up at him, I trusted him but I just had to ask. “nothing between us changes?”
His blue eyes stared into my soul. I loved his eyes, I could just drown in them. “nothing changes... Hell, I'll devorce her”
He held his hand out to me and I took it. “I promise” he said softly and knelt infront me where I was setting so we were eye level. “we're not gonna lose each other... Not again”
~~~~~~~~(.......)~~~~~~~~
Then Mark came back...
Unlike when Addison showed up, I was just hurt to see him. I hadn't thought about him since me and derek started dating, but when I saw his face all that hurt and betrayal came rushing back.
The first time he visited Seattle he was on the ground and thanks to Derek I was the one that had to stich him him up. Richard sent me and Mark to the ER and Richard was chewing Derek out for the punch. That's when Richard found out about Addison and Mark's affair.
“you look amazing” Mark said as I got out the supplies to stich up his cheek. I ignored him as I tried to keep my anger and disappointment bottled up.
I cleared my throat and placed a towel on his shoulder and tried to get a decent angle to stich his cheek.
“here” Mark mumbled and to my dismay he pulled me in between by my hips so I could be closer. “thats better” he smirked.
I sighed and dropped the tweezers. “you think your funny?”
“I think I'm adorable” he smirked. I rolled my eyes and stiched up the gash. I sighed using the technique mark taught me long ago.
“I missed you... I really do” he said as I placed a bandaged on. I tried to stay silent but Mark wasn't having it. “will you please say something?”
I slammed the tweezers on the tray with a loud clink then turned towrds Mark. “What do you want me to say? I don't want you here and and sure as hell don't want Addison here”
Mark looked down staying silent. “I'm sorry”
I rolled my eyes tired of his sorrys. I did miss him and hell I unfortunately still cared for him, but every time I looked at him all I can think of is him in bed with Addison.
I gulped and looked at him as I felt the tears form. “I'll see ya around Mark”
“bye...” he said barly above a whisper.
--------(3rd pov)--------
Mark and Addison from a far, confused on what they were seeing. They just couldn't understand how fast y/n and derek fell for each other. Addison scolded herself for not seeing the signs earlier, but when she looks back she could see the way Derek looked at y/n.
“Derek never looked at me the way he looks at here” Addison said in a monotone voice.
Mark crossed his arms, staring at the new couple. He feeling so many different things it confused him. He wanted to fix his friendship with Derek, but everytime he saw his arm around y/n he just wanted to break it. Then on the other hand his heart broke seeing y/n smile and derek and not him, but he loved her enough to feel some sorta relief he didn't totally break her and she was happy.
“y/n looked at me like that... Every day we we're together” Mark said. “and I screwed it up big time”
Addison glanced at him, part of her felt fear Mark regreted being with her. It ment she lost two men she loved. She felt selfish for feeling like that, not only did she lose a husband she lost her closest female friend. This whole situation was a mess and she knew it.
Mark glanced at her, his blue eyes showing nothing but pain. “if I could turn back time I would in a heart beat”
Mark still loved her, but he loved her enough to let her go. At least he knew he could trust Derek not to hurt her. “let go of your pride addie, if you think Derek will leave n/n your crazy”
Addison raised an eyebrow at him, like she thought he was some kinda hypocrite. “well, y/n isn't leaving Derek for you”
“yeah... And I just need to learn to deal with that” Mark sighed, giving y/n and derek one last glance before leaving.
Chapter two: Could have been me
Chapter summary: When you don't show up to work the morning after your argument with Spencer, Hotch sends the team looking for you as your life could be in danger.
Chapter warnings: Fem!reader. Kidnapping. Mentions of possible murders. Typically cm case stuff. Reader is bound and gagged(but nothing else is mentioned).
A/N: This is loosely based on the episodes where the team were been stalked but I have put a little spin on it. I'm going to take a little break, not for long just a week or two, but I won't be checking my Tumblr as much. I hope everyone enjoys this. If you're not on the taglist, and you want to be, you can either comment or follow the link (Which I still will be checking). Anyway, Jag älskar dig.
“You know, she told the girls what you said to her, Spencer.” Derek interjected, his voice filled with a mix of concern and disappointment. “She looked up to you, I mean she basically saw you as a god. You and her could make an amazing team, but instead you dislike her, because she is on the same level as you.”
Spencer's face softened for a brief moment, his features betraying a flicker of regret. He hadn't realized the impact his words had on you, nor the way it would spread through the team like wildfire. It wasn't his intention to hurt you. In truth, he had been wrestling with his own demons, battling insecurities that had plagued him for far too long.
"I didn't mean to..." Spencer began, his voice barely above a whisper. But before he could finish his sentence, JJ interjected, her gentle tone cutting through the tension.
"It doesn't matter what you meant or didn't mean, Spencer. The damage is done," she said, her eyes filled with disappointment. "Y/N deserves better than this."
“Look, I regret what I said to her, I do. And yes, maybe she deserves better than what I said, but did she tell you what she said to me?” Spencer paused, his voice laced with a mix of frustration and vulnerability.
Derek and JJ exchanged glances, sensing that there was more to the story than they initially thought. Spencer's voice trembled with a mix of vulnerability and frustration as he continued.
"She told me that I act like I believe I'm better than everyone else, that I flaunt my achievements," he admitted, his gaze focused on the ground as if the weight of his words were too heavy to bear. "But she doesn't know the whole story. She doesn't know the insecurities that eat away at me every day."
Derek's expression softened, understanding dawning in his eyes. "Spencer, we all have our battles," he said gently. "But taking it out on her isn't the answer. You two could be an incredible team if you just gave it a chance."
“I’ll say sorry to her, but I doubt she’ll want to work with me after all I said to her.”
Derek placed a hand on Spencer's shoulder, offering a reassuring squeeze. "You won't know unless you try. Y/N is resilient and understanding. And if you show her that you truly regret your words, she might surprise you."
*
Spencer tried to find you to apologise but he couldn’t seem to. He asked JJ if she had seen you, but she just shook her head and told him that you most likely had taken the day off or you were just late. However, when they saw Hotch walk out his office, and look directly at your desk, they both thought something else may have happened.
“Emily, have you seen Y/N anywhere?” Hotch asked, a hint of worry in his voice.
Emily glanced around the bullpen, her eyes scanning the empty desks and filing cabinets. "No, Hotch. I haven't seen her all morning. Did something happen?"
Hotch sighed heavily, his brows furrowing in concern. "I'm not sure. She didn't show up for our scheduled meeting this morning, and she hasn't responded to any of my calls or messages."
Worry etched itself onto Emily's features as she reached for her phone, dialling your number without hesitation. The sound of ringing filled the air as the team held their breath, waiting for a response.
After a few agonizing moments, Emily disconnected the call with a shake of her head. "Straight to voicemail," she murmured.
Derek's eyes widened in alarm. "That's not like her. Y/N never ignores her phone, especially not when it's work-related."
Hotch nodded, his concern growing with each passing second. “I know. Spencer, after your disagreement with her last night, did you notice her go anywhere, or did she say anything to you at all?”
Spencer's heart sank as he realized the severity of the situation. He hadn't anticipated that his argument with you had escalated to this point. Guilt gnawed at him, fuelling his determination to find you and make things right.
"I didn't see her leave last night," Spencer admitted, his voice filled with regret. "But she seemed really upset. I think she might have needed some space."
Hotch's expression hardened; his concern now veiled with a sense of urgency. "We can't afford to waste any more time," he said firmly. "I want the team to split up and search for Y/N. Derek, you take the surrounding area and check if she went home. Emily, canvas the local coffee shops and places she likes to go. JJ, contact her friends or anyone close to her. We need to find her as soon as possible."
“Hotch, why are you so worried?” JJ asked, a hint of confusion in her voice. “Do you know something we don’t? I mean I’ll do all of this, of course, but you seem a lot more concerned than you should be.”
Hotch's gaze flickered with a mixture of apprehension and determination. He took a deep breath before finally speaking, his voice laden with worry. “There was a meeting with other unit leaders this morning, and people who joined us at the same time as Y/N have been disappearing.”
Emily's eyes widened in shock, the gravity of the situation sinking in. "You think Y/N might have been targeted?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Hotch nodded grimly. "It's a possibility we can't ignore. We've already lost three team members from that cohort, and we need to find Y/N before it's too late."
Derek clenched his jaw, his grip tightening on his phone. "I'll check her apartment first, see if she went home," he said, determination filling his voice. "If she's not there, I'll widen the search radius."
JJ nodded, her fingers already flying across her phone screen as she contacted Y/N's closest friends and contacts. "I'll reach out to everyone and see if they've heard from her," she said, her voice tinged with worry.
“This takes priority to the other case we are working. And that’s not just me stating this, the bureau want this taken care off.” Hotch declared, his voice firm and resolute. "Y/N's safety is our top concern, and we won't rest until we find her."
The team dispersed, each member taking on their assigned tasks with a renewed sense of determination. Spencer stood frozen for a moment, his mind flooded with regret and fear for your well-being. Guilt crept up his spine, threatening to consume him as he replayed the words, he had said to you.
But now was not the time for self-pity or remorse. He needed to find you, to make things right, and to protect you from whatever danger lurked in the shadows. With a newfound resolve, he grabbed his coat and joined Derek in the search.
Derek and Spencer combed through every inch of your apartment, searching for any trace of where you might have gone. They checked your bedroom, your bathroom, and even the closet in case you were hiding. But there was nothing.
"Damn it," Derek muttered under his breath as he ran a hand through his hair. "She's not here, Spencer."
Spencer stood in the centre of your living room, his eyes scanning the surroundings as if hoping for some clue to reveal itself. "Think, think," he whispered to himself, racking his brain for any indication of where you could be.
His gaze fell upon the corkboard hanging on the wall, covered in pictures and notes. Without hesitation, he approached it, studying each item carefully. His eyes landed on a picture of you, and what he assumed were people who were at the academy at the same time as you.
“Derek, do you know the names of the other people who have gone missing?” Spencer asked, his voice laced with urgency.
Derek furrowed his brows, trying to recall the information he had heard during the briefing earlier that morning. "Yeah," he replied, his voice tinged with concern. "There was Sarah Thomas, Chris Matthews, and Mark Reynolds. Why?"
“Look at this photo, could this be them with Y/N?” Spencer pointed to the picture on the corkboard, his finger hovering above the faces of the individuals. Derek leaned closer, studying the image intently.
“Maybe. Grab the picture, we will show it to Hotch.”
Spencer carefully removed the photograph from the corkboard, handling it with delicate fingers as if it held a piece of the puzzle he desperately needed to solve. He knew that showing it to Hotch would be the next step in their search for you, for answers.
As they walked into the office, their faces filled with worry and determination caught Hotch's attention immediately. He approached them, his eyes narrowing as he took in the evidence bag Derek was holding.
"What did you find?" Hotch asked, his voice steady but filled with anticipation.
Spencer handed over the evidence bag, ensuring Hotch had a clear view of the photo inside. "We found this in Y/N's apartment," he explained. "It appears to be a picture of her with the three individuals who have gone missing. We thought it might be worth showing you."
Hotch's gaze hardened as he studied the photo, his mind working through various scenarios and possibilities. “I think Y/N is danger.”
Hotch's words hung heavy in the air, the gravity of the situation sinking deeper into the hearts of Derek and Spencer. They exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with a mix of determination and fear.
"Y/N could be in serious trouble," Derek stated, his voice laced with urgency. "We need to find her before whoever is responsible for these disappearances gets to her."
Hotch nodded, his jaw clenched tightly “I think the person who is responsible for these disappearances has already gotten to her, Derek.”
Derek's heart skipped a beat, the weight of Hotch's words hitting him like a freight train. He clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white as rage and fear surged through his veins. "We can't let anything happen to her," he said, his voice low and determined.
Spencer's mind buzzed with a million different thoughts, trying to piece together the puzzle that had become your disappearance. "Do we have any leads? Any idea where she might be?"
Hotch sighed heavily, the lines on his forehead deepening. "Not yet" he admitted. "But we need to work fast. Whoever is behind this is organized, and they know what they're doing. We need to beat them at their own game."
“Spencer, go chat to Garcia, see if she has found anything or been able to locate Y/Ns phone. Derek, call Emily and JJ see if they have found anything. I’m going to call the other unit leaders who have lost members, and the academy to see if they know anything.”
Spencer nodded, his mind already racing with the task at hand. He quickly made his way to Garcia's office, knowing that her exceptional skills in technology would prove invaluable in their search.
As he entered the room, he found Garcia hunched over her computer, surrounded by screens filled with lines of code and databases. The room buzzed with the sound of beeping monitors and clacking keys.
"Garcia," Spencer called out, trying to catch her attention amidst the chaos. "Hotch wants us to find any leads on Y/N's whereabouts. Have you been able to track her phone or any other digital footprint?"
Garcia spun around in her chair, her eyes lighting up with determination. "Spence! I've been trying to crack into her phone and social media accounts, but it seems like whoever is behind this has taken extra precautions. It's like Y/N vanished into thin air."
"Keep trying, Garcia. We need any lead we can get. Check for any unusual activity, recent contacts, anything that might give us a clue."
Garcia nodded, her fingers dancing across the keyboard as she delved deeper into the digital world. "I won't stop until I find something, Spencer. Y/N deserves justice, and we are going to make sure she gets it."
Spencer's phone buzzed in his pocket, and he quickly retrieved it to see a message from Derek. It read: "No luck here. No signs of Y/N or any of the other missing persons. Emily and JJ are coming up empty too."
Spencer sighed, his heart sinking at the lack of progress. They were running out of time, and every passing moment without a breakthrough felt like an eternity. He knew they couldn't afford to give up, but the weight of the situation was beginning to take its toll.
As he turned his attention back to Garcia, he noticed a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. "Spence, I think I might have found something," she said, her voice filled with hope.
His heart skipped a beat as he hurried over to her side, peering at the screen. Lines of code and data flashed before his eyes, but one particular piece caught his attention. "What is it?" he asked eagerly.
Garcia pointed to a series of encrypted messages on the screen. "These are conversations between Y/N and someone who goes by the name 'ShadowX'. It seems like they've been communicating for some time now."
Spencer's eyes widened as he absorbed the information. "ShadowX," he muttered, his mind racing to recall any mention of the name during their investigation. It felt like a puzzle piece finally falling into place.
Garcia continued to decipher the encrypted messages, her fingers flying across the keyboard with practiced precision. "It looks like Y/N trusted this person," she said, her voice filled with concern. “They seemed close. It looks like they met at the academy, but if you look at this message, it seems ShadowX didn’t do so well and didn’t get a job in the FBI.”
Spencer's brow furrowed as he read the message, his mind working to piece together the puzzle. "So, ShadowX was a classmate of Y/N's at the academy," he mused aloud. "But if they didn't get a job with the FBI, what happened to them?"
Garcia tapped her fingers on the keyboard, her eyes scanning through the messages for any more clues. "I'm still trying to dig deeper, but it seems like ShadowX disappeared shortly after their graduation. There's no trace of them anywhere since then."
Spencer's mind raced with possibilities. Could ShadowX be responsible for the disappearances? Or were they also a victim? He knew they needed more information, more pieces of the puzzle, to solve this case and bring you back safely.
“Garcia, I think ShadowX is behind all of this. Y/N is smart, she was ahead of everybody else at the academy, I even checked her marksmanship, and she was getting top scores on that too. I think ShadowX was jealous. And look at all the other people who have gone missing, all smart, all got a job here.” Spencer swallowed hard as he realized the gravity of the situation.
Garcia's eyes widened, realization dawning upon her. "You might be onto something, Spence," she replied, her voice filled with a mix of determination and concern. "If ShadowX was jealous of Y/N's success and disappeared after graduation, it's possible they've been planning this for a long time."
Spencer's mind buzzed with the weight of their discovery. The pieces were beginning to fall into place, revealing a darker truth that sent shivers down his spine. "We need to find out everything we can about ShadowX," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "Their motives, their whereabouts, anything that will lead us to Y/N."
Garcia nodded fervently, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she delved deeper into the digital abyss. Her determination was unwavering as she hacked into every database she could access, leaving no stone unturned.
Meanwhile, Derek and Hotch returned to the bullpen after making their calls. Derek's face was etched with worry, lines deepening as he caught sight of Spencer standing beside Garcia. Without a word, he joined them.
"What do you have?" Derek asked, his voice tinged with urgency.
Spencer glanced at Garcia, who nodded in confirmation. "ShadowX was a classmate of Y/N's at the academy," he began, his voice filled with resolve. "But they didn't get a job with the FBI. They disappeared shortly after graduation, and there's been no trace of them since."
Derek clenched his jaw, anger simmering beneath his skin. "Jealousy and resentment," he muttered under his breath.
Derek's words hung heavy in the air, the weight of the situation settling over them like a suffocating fog. The knowledge that someone they had once trusted, someone from their own ranks, could be behind the disappearances was both unsettling and infuriating.
Hotch's voice broke the tense silence. "We need to find out everything we can about ShadowX," he said, his tone resolute. "Their motives, their connections, any possible leads. We can't let them slip through our fingers."
Garcia's fingers danced across the keyboard as she accessed every database available, her determination unwavering. "I'm going to trace ShadowX's digital footprint, follow every electronic trail they left behind," she declared, her eyes blazing with a mix of determination and anger. "No one disappears without a trace in this day and age."
Derek's eyes narrowed, his hands bawling into fists at his sides. "We'll find them," he said through gritted teeth. "No one hurts our team and gets away with it."
*
The team had left Garcia so she could continue with her research, Derek and Spencer had decided to go through the files on your desk, see if there was anything there. Hotch remained in his office making phone calls, JJ and Emily seemed lost, they had come to love you and knowing you were in danger was tearing them apart.
Spencer though, he was reflecting, he had come to terms to why he had disliked you. It wasn’t just because of your intelligence , or how you just seemed to make friends with everybody, it was because he knew he didn’t truly stand a chance with you. He wasn’t just jealous of you; he was jealous of anyone who would ever get a chance of loving you.
As Spencer flipped through the files on your desk, his thoughts continued to swirl, entangled in a mix of emotions. Guilt crept into his heart as he realized how his jealousy had clouded his judgment and caused him to distance himself from you. He had pushed you away, not only because of his own insecurities but also to protect himself from the pain of seeing someone else capture your heart.
But now, faced with the gravity of the situation, Spencer's perspective shifted. The fear of losing you altogether overshadowed any lingering jealousy. He knew deep down that he couldn't let his personal feelings hinder the efforts to find you and bring you back safely.
Derek glanced over at Spencer, noticing the conflict etched on his face. "You alright, Pretty Boy?" he asked, concern lacing his voice.
Spencer sighed, running a hand through his unruly hair. "I'm trying to come to terms with everything," he admitted, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "I realized that my jealousy was unfounded and only served to push Y/N away. Now, all I can think about is finding her and bringing her back safely."
Derek nodded in understanding; his eyes filled with empathy. "We'll find her, Reid," he reassured, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We're not giving up until we do."
Spencer offered a small smile of gratitude, grateful for Derek's unwavering support. "Thank you, Derek," he said sincerely. "I don't know what I would do without you guys."
As they were about to get back into the files, they heard the distinctive clicking of Garcia shows.
“Guy’s!” Garcia exclaimed as she burst into the room, her eyes wide with excitement. "I think I found something! ShadowX has been using an alias, but I managed to track down their real identity. Their name is Ethan Sullivan, and he used to work for a private security firm. But get this," she paused for dramatic effect, "he was fired after allegations of unethical practices surfaced."
Spencer's eyes widened, his mind connecting the dots. "Unethical practices... that could explain why he didn't get a job with the FBI," he mused, his voice filled with realization. "And if he was jealous of Y/N's success, it's possible he's been targeting graduates from the academy."
Derek's jaw clenched as anger flared within him. "We need to find Ethan Sullivan," he said firmly. "If he's behind these disappearances, we need to bring him to justice."
Garcia nodded in agreement, her fingers itching to dig deeper into the digital realm. "I'm going to trace Sullivan's every move, leave no virtual stone unturned," she declared, her eyes ablaze with determination. "We'll find him, and we'll bring him down."
Garcia let out a triumphant cheer. "I found him!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and relief. "Ethan Sullivan is currently residing in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. It seems like he's been using it as his base of operations."
Hotch, who had finished his phone calls, emerged from his office with a stern look on his face. "We need to move quickly," he said, the gravity of the situation evident in his voice.
Emily, JJ, I want you to coordinate with local law enforcement and secure the perimeter around the warehouse," Hotch continued, his voice commanding. "Derek, Spencer, you'll come with me. We're going in."
The team sprang into action, each member homing in on their assigned tasks with precision. Emily and JJ made the necessary calls, ensuring that backup was on the way. Meanwhile, Garcia continued to monitor Sullivan's digital presence, providing real-time updates on his movements.
As they approached the abandoned warehouse, tension hung heavy in the air. The once bustling building now stood as a dark and foreboding figure against the night sky. With each step closer, the team's determination grew stronger.
Hotch gave a nod to Derek and Spencer, signalling it was time to move. With weapons drawn and hearts pounding, they entered the warehouse cautiously yet swiftly.
The interior of the warehouse was shrouded in darkness, save for eerie beams of moonlight that filtered through the broken windows. The creaking of old boards under their feet echoed through the cavernous space, causing a sense of unease to settle over the team. The air was heavy with anticipation as they moved deeper into the labyrinth of forgotten boxes and discarded equipment.
Derek's eyes scanned the surroundings, his senses heightened as he listened for any sign of movement. Spencer, ever the analytical mind, was piecing together the possible hiding spots Sullivan could be using within the warehouse. They moved in sync, their training and trust in each other guiding their every step.
As they navigated through the maze of shadows, a faint sound caught Spencer's attention. He held up a hand to signal Derek to stop, his ears straining to catch even the slightest noise. It was then that he heard it again, a muffled cry for help.
Heart pounding in his chest, Spencer followed the sound, leading them towards a dimly lit corner of the warehouse. There, hidden behind a stack of crates, they found you. Bound and gagged, your eyes filled with fear and relief as you saw the familiar faces of your team members.
Derek rushed forward, releasing you from your restraints with swift, practiced movements. "We've got you," he said softly, his voice filled with a mixture of protectiveness and concern. "You're safe now."
Spencer knelt down beside you, his gentle touch removing the gag from your mouth. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with worry.
You nodded, your voice barely above a whisper. "I'm...I'm okay," you managed to say, tears streaming down your face. "Thank you for finding me."
Hotch approached; his gaze steady as he spoke. "We need to get out of here," he said firmly. "Garcia, call for medical assistance and secure an exit strategy."
“I’ll stay with her.” Spencer volunteered; his voice filled with determination. He didn't want to leave your side, not after everything you had been through.
Hotch nodded in agreement, understanding the need for comfort and reassurance. "Alright, Reid," he said, his voice softening. "But be careful."
"You're safe now," Spencer whispered softly, his voice filled with genuine concern. "We won't let anything happen to you."
You nodded; your voice still shaky. "I don't know how to thank you guys," you said, your gratitude pouring forth. "You saved my life."
Spencer smiled warmly, his own emotions raw and palpable. "You don't have to thank us," he replied, his eyes filled with sincerity. "We're a team, and we look out for each other."
“I’m sorry for what I said to you, Spencer. I just wanted your approval.”
Spencer shook his head, his eyes filled with forgiveness. "You don't have to apologize, Y/N," he said softly. “I should be saying sorry to you, I just let my insecurities get in the way.”
You reached out and placed a hand on Spencer's arm, offering a reassuring smile. "We all have our moments of doubt and insecurity," you said, your voice gentle. "What matters is that we learn and grow from them."
Dream of McDreamy
George O'Malley couldn't stand it anymore. Meredith was into Derek, but he was playing with her. Always on, off, on, off. Why would she choose a guy who treated her like that?
Derek used to date Meredith in Seattle Grace Hospital. But that was all crushed when his wife, he claimed that he was divorced to, came to town to get her husband back. The wife, Addison Montgomery, a brilliant surgeon, wasn't thrilled to watch Meredtih every day, but she was willing to do anything to get her husband back. The husband that was still in love with Meredtih, but his connection to Addison couldn't be severed so easily.
George was always the one on the side. He liked Meredtih a lot, but she would never notice him like Derek. Derek was McDreamy for her. Geroge was... well George.
He wasn't ugly or anything, but he couldn't compare himself to Derek Sheperd. The hair, the face, the smile. And especially those skills and knowledge. He was a god for so many people here.
George knew why Meredith like him so much. He envied him his good looks. It made it so much easier for him to get the lady he wanted. But he doesn't deserve her. Meredith deserves to be treated with respect and love.
George planned it. Either he was gonna die trying or it would work. He connected electrodes and sensors to gis head. And the EEG machine. He timed it so that Derek would be coming around the corner just in time to see his alterations to the machine. And just as George thought, Derek did what he wanted him to. He touched the button to turn off the power, because the machine on George's head cracked and sent many electric impulses into his brain. Derek tried to turn it off, but he felt a spark and then BOOM
Derek flew to the next wall where he crashed. The emploees rushed in to help him and George. They had had to revive George for many minutes and eventually succeeded. But it took them too much time. Certain parts of the brain weren't oxygenated and died out, leaving him in a coma.
As Derek woke up. He was a bit confused. Looking around, trying to find someone. They had to hospitalize him as a normal patient and therefore, Derek was on the hospital bed, waiting to be checked and released.
Looking back at himself in the mirror reflection, Derek, or to be specific, George in Derek's body felt proud that his alterations worked.
He was playing with his hair, non stop. How come that this guy is in his 40s and has a head full of hair
Addison came by to check if he was truly ok.
The new Derek looked up at her:"Addison we are done. Please, do not call me, do not beg me. I am in love with Meredith and this is my final desicion. Goodbye"
Addison was so surprised by all this that she couldn't even react to the monologue Derek just spat at her. But she was done too. No more chasing men, who don't want her, no. She was the star of her own life. And left.
George got up and went straight to the bathroom. He looked at his poker face reflecting in the mirror. "It's gonna be weird, getting used to seeing your face every day, Derek. But it's something I can do for Meredith"
He untied the hospital gown he had on. He examined his new body. It was much better than his old one. It seemed that Derek really took care of himself
George looked down and smile. "Not bad, Derek." I knew Meredith had a good taste.
George grabbed his dick and smiled at himself in the mirror again
Meredith:'You talk to yourself in the mirror?"
George turned around, not covering his dick. "Meredith! Yeah... from time to time"
Meredith was a bit caught off guard by the nakedness, but Geroge stepped closer to her
George:"I made a choice Meredith. I pick you. I choose you. I love you."
Meredith:"You know you don't have to run away after we had sex"
George in Derek:"Yeah, right. Sorry, force of habit"
Meredith:"Hmm, right. Wanna join me in the shower?"
George:"Why din't you say that before?"
They laughed as Derek threw off his clothes and chased Meredith naked all the way up to the bathroom.
In the hospital
Meredith:"So this was all I wanted to show you. I was thinking that it could help some patients like George to fully recover. Or at least partially."
George:"Meredith, George is probably not waking up. The chances are really low."
Meredith:"But there are some studies who tried this method too and it worked."
George:"You know what? Let's just enjoy the day tonight. We got a big event to celebrate"
Meredith:"Yeah? Which one?"
George:"The two of us finally being together"
George was happier than he would ever be. He had his crush pressed against him, while his new dick was getting hard. He was now kissing his crush after so many years.
As they were making out in front of all the scans, George thought about tomorrow. How they would have to study all those cases. And how he would have to disconnect his old body to make sure he would stay with Meredith forever
An anonymous request from inbox:
Ooooh, Ive always though it might be fun to have George O’Malley swap bodies with Derek Shepherd? Maybe using it finally be with Meredith? And just being jealous of his good looks.
Dumb Dog Part 1
It's not Derek's fault when he's hurt he wants Stiles. He can't help the warm loose headspace the younger man pulls him into. Stiles didn't know when he found Derek in his bed after school it would lead to this. He didn't even consider it possible. He never thought he'd end up being the werewolf's personal rut toy.
Or that one day he'd be fucking into the alpha, be held so close, listening to his desperate little sounds. Life's always been like that for them though, hasn't it
Derek nearly * died *. He deserved some proper pack cuddles. But Scott was busy with Allison and Stiles kept his window unlocked. It really wasn’t his fault when he crawled through the window and spent a few hours laying in the pile of dirty laundry before stripping himself out of his dirty clothes and climbing into the soft, good smelling bed.
~~~
Stiles came home from school, humming the tune to some song or maybe it was two songs that sounded sort of the same but it didn’t matter. At least not when he opened his bedroom door and the curtains were drawn and there was something on his bed.
“Oh my god what the fuck is that” Stiles said out loud as he switched on his light to see what it was. He was sort of scared that it was something horrible, something that he probably shouldn’t just blast in the face with the bright ceiling light. But he didn’t need to worry. It was only Derek.
A growling, grumbling Derek. In his bed. Under his blankets.
“Dude why are you in my room? Actually that doesn’t surprise me that much. Why are you in my bed?” Stiles asked but flicked the light back off and dropped his back pack by his desk. He toed off his shoes and sat down on his rolly chair, looking expectantly at the lump on his bed, only black spikes of hair showing.
“Hurt” Derek grumbled and Stiles rolled his eyes waving his hand even though Derek had his face buried in the comforter.
“And? I know you’re hurt. I pulled an arrow out of your back. Yesterday.” Stiles said in a flat way. He knew Derek was hurt. He’d yanked a poison tipped arrow out of the wolf yesterday. There had been a trap laid and Derek had fallen in, the arrows were posted like spikes, easily stabbing the wolf in the side. It had created a massive wound, having rotted away most of the flesh that surrounded it. Gruesome, to say the least. Derek huffed, tired from being awake, frustrated at why Stiles so far away and why he was still talking .
“Wolves pack up, we heal better together. Scott would be more effective but you’re more available.” Derek explained and Stiles nodded. He was second choice for weird wolf rituals. Great.
“So why are you in my bed?” The younger man asked again, trying to get to an actual answer. Derek huffed and sat up, face pale and sweaty, dark circles carved around his eyes. Stiles gasped a little, he couldn’t help it. Derek looked like a ghost in the dim light.
“Fuck, I need to be close to someone to heal faster. I have a massive hole in my back and being near someone is going to get it over with faster. You can sit on the bed or get in here with me, just help me.” Derek explained and started to get more breathless. He looked… desperate. Begging almost, like a wet dog looking through the window. Stile smirked and rolled his eyes.
“You want me to cuddle with you?” He asked, joking. Mostly. That was until Derek nodded, huffing as he laid back down exhausted from it all already. Stile just stared at him, waiting for it to be a joke. He promptly ignored the feeling in his stomach.
The younger man just cleared his throat and turned around to his desk, pulling out his books and his laptop.
“Uh yeah. Okay. I’m going to finish typing my essay and stuff then. Dad’s on nights this week so I’m just going to have leftover lasagna for dinner. You can have some too, uh if you want some.” Stiles said, trying to sound very very normal. Even as his stomach did weird flips.
It worked, Derek was quiet and still and Stiles actually got most of his essay finished. It was fine. It was okay.
Well actually, it was okay until Derek started to whimper. He was asleep, deep asleep, but twitching and whimpering, mouth twisted up like he was hurting bad. He was twisting around to lay on his side instead of his belly, knees drawing up closer to his body, shoulders jerking.
Stiles watched him from his desk for a minute before turning back around to his laptop. But he couldn’t help but worry there was something wrong so he stood at the foot of the bed and shoved the frame a bit.
“Dude, wake up. Are you alright?” Stiles asked before Derek was wiggling the blanket away from his face, showing his snarling face. Not hurt. Nightmare.
Stiles shook his ankle, trying to wake him out of it. He didn’t think about how weird it was that Derek didn’t have any leg hair.
“Derek, Derekkkk, wake up! Dude you’re having a nightmare. Wake up, c'mon dude don’t freak out on me” Stiles tried to wake him, he spoke at a regular level, scared a yell would cause Derek to wolf out.
Derek just curled up and sobbed, eyelashes getting teary, foot jerking out of Stiles' grasp. The human rushed to stand by his head, hands flittering around, unsure whether or not to actually touch the wolf or not.
He ended up rubbing Derek’s shoulder and oh. He wasn’t even wearing a shirt. Stiles just didn’t want to hurt him since yeah he had a huge hole in his back. Which, once the blanket was shoved off Derek’s shoulders, was starting to show. It was more healed than the last time Stiles had seen it but it was still pretty bad, angry red rimmed with black ooze staining the gauze that covered the worst of it.
“Derek, cmon wake up. Ugh you’re a big dog. Wake up a dog… ears?” Stiles talked to himself before pushing his hand into the thick dark hair that was damp with sweat. He stroked the top of Derek’s head, which only made him twitch more but when the human finally scrubbed behind Derek’s normal ears, the wolf sighed, relaxing.
Stiles rolled his eyes and rubbed over the creases of Derek’s ears with the pads of his fingers. The wolf’s entire body relaxed, a grumble rolling from him which Stiles took as a positive.
“Yeah, yeah, you big mutt.” Stiles said and kept scratching the unfairly soft hair behind Derek’s ears. It was nice actually, the way Derek relaxed and fell back to calm sleep. His face was so relaxed even with the dark circles under his eyes and the sick pale that was taking over his skin, he looked beautiful. Beautiful? Handsome. A good looking guy. Yeah. Not weird to think your friend is handsome. Handsome.
But for some reason Stiles couldn’t peel his eyes away from the way Derek’s soft looking lips were parted and the slightest glint of white teeth showed between them. The way his eyelashes were like fans cast down over his perfect cheekbones. The way his big hands were laying on the bed in front of his bare chest. Oh his chest , stiles thought as he slowly peeled the blanket down further, just a few inches. Just to get a better look at the perfectly smooth skin of Derek’s chest. So soft looking, nipples perked up once the blanket exposed them to the cooler room air.
Stiles was dizzy. And hard. This was Derek’s fault not his.
“Are you going to maul me if I lay next to you?” Stiles asked, hoping maybe Derek was awake or would say he could leave now or something.
He was met with nothing, of course. Just a peaceful sleeping werewolf.
“Fine, it’s fine, whatever.” Stiles finally decided and flipped the blankets, his blankets, up on the opposite side of Derek. This was his bed. He could take an afternoon nap in his bed if he wanted to.
“Dude… pants off and all? This is my bed.” Stiles said exasperated and stripped out of his own shirts, toeing off his socks too. He kept his own pants on, needing some extra protection over his hardon. Just in case.
Stiles shook out his arms and tried to relax. It was his bed. Afternoon nap. With an almost naked werewolf. Almost naked, very very hot buff guy with a bulge the size of Texas in his worn out grey briefs. Don’t look at his bulge, Stiles told himself and then looked again. Derek’s briefs were snug, holding onto his thick hips and cradling his bulge in a way that made Stiles feel like he was on fire. And maybe a bit self conscious. And a little impressed, if he was honest.
“Not my fault. Not my fault. He was in my bed first. Not my fault.” Stiles told himself as he laid down, back to Derek, and covered them both back up under the blankets. He laid perfectly still, mind trying to record everything it could.
Derek was… warm. Snuggly too especially when he threw his arm over Stiles chest and his leg over the human’s own. Stile’s refused to move but Derek pulled them together, chest to back, head to toe touching. Like he was trying to get rid of any air between their bodies.
Derek was heavy. And big. And warm. And his dick was actually in the crease of Stiles' ass. The wolf’s arm was fuzzy and warm and his hand was huge and rough where it cradled the side of Stiles peck, his thigh was massive, and where his scruff was against Stiles neck made him feel a shivery kind of arousal.
Stiles was… hard. Mostly. But also nervous, especially after a few minutes Derek made a whine and twitched again. Bucking. Hips twitching. Stiles gasped but Derek was squeezing him, arm tightening, thigh shifting higher to lineup so his bulge was rubbing right between Stiles ass, hips shoving.
Stiles was shocked for a minute before the next thrust came and he realized what he was being used for. He was thankful for keeping his jeans on.
“Fuck… Derek. Don’t do that.” Stiles said weakly as he clung Derek’s wrist where he was holding the human close, not letting Stiles get away.
Derek just kept going, hips shoving and thrusting, huge hard cock pressing against Stiles' ass. The rhythm was steady. Long thrusts forward and then slow drags back. It was making Stiles breathless. The heat now radiating from the wolf, the drag of thin cotton over thick denim, the wet pants that were being blown over the sensitive back of his neck.
“Dumb dog, stupid fucking…. Derek come on” Stiles begged as the wolf’s mouth opened, hot breaths turning into the graze of sharp pearly teeth and wet tongue.
Derek let out a growl, pulling Stiles closer, teeth pressing into Stiles' skin, breaths becoming whiny sounds. His hips were shoving harder against Stiles, like he was trying to shove through the clothes to actually fuck him. Like he was desperate for just a little more.
Which was… Stiles barely ever kissed anyone. Let along had sex. With a guy. Who was a werewolf. With a huge cock. Huge cock and obviously very powerful hips. Stiles was paling at the idea but then Derek was whimpering.
“Please…. Please…” Derek begged, stubble rough on Stiles ears. Stiles couldn’t help the twisty feeling getting tighter in his gut. It was such a desperate begging whimper.
“Derek” Stiles finally responded and rolled around so he was facing Derek. The wolf’s hips kept rocking toward Stiles even as his eyes opened and found Stiles' own brown ones.
“You’re awake.” Stiles whispered, he would be mad if Derek wasn’t grinding their crotches together. Derek just whined, eyes all big and full of need.
“Let me. Let me play mate you. Please? It helps. I’ll make you cum too.” Derek asked and his shaky hands pulled at Stiles' jeans waistband. Stiles was staring at him in shock. What? His brain was on half speed but he didn’t just…
“What?” Stiles asked confused and Derek let out a whine, pushing his face to Stiles to just nuzzle at his lips and cheek. Stiles' eyes fluttered as the soft graze of Derek’s lips ghosted across his own as he rubbed their faces together. The wolf spoke into the soft space under Stiles' ear.
“Play mating… won’t mate you. Just… rubbing. Skin to skin with you, I’m hurt, don’t know what I’m saying. Just let me please Stiles” Derek begged and pushed his forehead against Stiles, big eyes all full of puppy want. It wasn’t fair.
Stiles swallowed and nodded, rolling back over so they were spooned together.
“Fine but when you’re sober I’m blaming you for this. Don’t kiss me. Underwear stays on.” Stiles decided and unbuttoned his jeans, wiggling them under his butt. He felt Derek’s smile as he shoved his face into Stiles' soft half grown out hair.
“Thank you, thank you, so nice, thank you” Derek said happily and fished his hard cock out of his briefs, spending no time shoving between Stiles' thighs, moaning at the tight soft relief on himself. Stiles was in awe as he looked down and could see the tip of Derek’s cock.
Derek was in a hurry, head all blurry and off kilter. He quickly fucked into the precum slicked passage of Stiles' thighs, chasing the good feeling that was getting more and more overwhelming. Stiles bit one of his own hands, trying not to let any embarrassing noises out while his other hand held onto Derek’s forearms where it was holding across his chest again.
Stiles was so close, even without touching himself. Derek was making short ‘ hah, hah, hah’ sounds followed by long whines. The entire bed moved with each of the wolf’s thrusts, the way he pulled his hips back until just his tip was trapped between Stiles' legs before slamming back forward. The feeling of such a big burning hot cock rubbing across the underside of his own cock and balls was enough to have Stiles' gasping.
He was tensing his thighs, trying to keep from cumming when Derek yelled out. Short, higher pitch than what Stiles would have expected, and matched with arms squeezing the air out of Stiles. It only took Stiles being able to breathe again to realize the wetness between his legs.
“Done?” Stiles asked, trying to act cool as he reached down to his own dick, giving the base a good squeeze. Derek hummed, nuzzling into the human’s hair and body slowly relaxing, like he was melting. Stiles felt relieved and started to stroke himself, short and quick, he was covered in precum already. He was nearly there, feeling himself toeing the line as a rough palm covered his hand.
“Let me” Is all Derek said, sleepily but his hand was sure and heavy. Stiles took his own hand away to cover his mouth. Derek pumped him quickly, grip a little loose, but enough so Stiles was moaning out after a few strokes. After spilling across the bed, Stiles felt the need to get up, to say something to clear the air. But Derek just hummed and grabbed Stiles' hip, hand wet.
He was fast asleep before Stiles could even get a word out.
Stiles laid there, trying to get it through his mind that what they just did was kinda sex. And kinda amazing. And he had a feeling it wouldn’t be the last time Derek ended up rutting against him.

Author’s Note: This story is one that is special to me; this was one of the first Top Gun stories I came up with, soon after I watched TG:M.
I’ve been keeping this to myself, because this is going to be intense and hard, but I know that if I don’t put this out there, I’ll never finish it.
So here we go.
Title is from the Taylor Swift/Joy Williams & John Paul White song of the same name.
Not breaking my habit of naming my stories after songs, it seems!
How had her life come to this?
Constantly on her guard.
Watching the way the shadows shifted.
Breaking into a cold sweat whenever she smelled anything that reminded her of his cologne, and when she saw or smelled red roses.
Living out of motels with her son.
How had she been so deceived?
How had she given her heart, mind, and body to the maniac she called her—thankfully—ex-husband?
All the things she gave up for him…
All the things he did to her…
All the things she let him do to her…
She shuddered just thinking about it.
All these thoughts swam through Anastasia’s head as she stared up at the ceiling, listening to her son, Luke, breathe.
Luke.
The only thing she didn’t regret about her marriage.
The only truly good thing Derek ever gave her.
Her beautiful, brave boy.
How she wished she could give him a better life than this.
A better life, the life he deserved, where he could just be the happy eight-year-old he was, instead of quiet, grave, and much-too responsible.
Tears welled in her eyes, and she pressed her hand to her mouth, not wanting to wake Luke and burden him even more than he himself was taking on.
She should have listened all those years ago when her twin brother Jake told her Derek was bad news, but Derek had fooled her so well, and she’d been so in love with him, or maybe she was just in love with love.
She would never know, now.
Regret burned in her heart as she remembered her last argument with Jake.
“Stash, I don’t like him.”
“God’s sake, not this again; you haven’t liked anyone I’ve been with, Jake.”
He rolled his eyes, “Not like this.
I have a bad feeling, Stash, he—something’s just plain wrong.”
“He loves me, Jake,” she defended.
“He says he does, but I don’t think he does; I don’t like the way he looks at you, why can’t you see it?” he said, voice rising.
“You know, I think you’re just jealous that I’m in a committed relationship, and you’re not!” she pointed.
“This isn’t about that!”
“Then what the hell is it about, Jakub?!”
Her younger brother inhaled and exhaled evenly. “I am concerned about you, Stacia.
You have to break up with Derek.”
Frustration flared in her chest. “See?!
You can’t even give me a straight answer about why I should!
And for another thing, why should I listen to relationship advice from you, when you have such a fantastic track record in your relationships?
You couldn’t keep one in high school to save your life, so why would you know the meaning of the word commitment?
Oh—sorry, not sorry, you wouldn’t know it, even if it hit you over the head!!”
Jake clenched his jaw. “I don’t want to get into an argument with you before I go back to Annapolis, Stash, but if you know what’s good for you, you’ll end it with him,” he said, voice shaking.
She scoffed, “You don’t want to get into an argument with me?
Well, too fucking late; I’m not going to break up with him, I love him, and he loves me, end of story.”
He threw his hands up, “You’re so fucking stubborn, you know that?!”
“Pot, meet Goddamn kettle!
I’m not breaking up with Derek, and that’s final, so you can go back to Annapolis, and while you’re at it, get the fuck out of my life, Jake!” At the shock in his eyes, spite sparked, hot and furious, in her heart. “And you know what?
If you hate Derek so much, I don’t have a brother anymore.”
Jake’s face fell. “Stacia—”
“No, I love him, and you’re wrong about him, so do me a favor and stay the hell out of my life, Jacob, because clearly, you can’t be happy for me, so you’re dead to me.”
That was the last thing she’d said to her brother almost ten years ago.
One year after her and Jake’s argument, she walked down the aisle without her brother on her side of the church, trading Anastasia Seresin for Anastasia Malloy.
And still, despite everything she’d said, Jake sent her a letter, that she read despite herself. “Dear Stacia,
I pray that you had a great day.
I pray that you have a happy marriage.
I’m currently in Pensacola for the next two years for flight training, and while I will respect your decision to cut me from your life, I just want you to know that you will always be my sister and I will always love you, Stacia.
With all my love,
Kuba”
She kept that letter, even though she initially wanted nothing more than to throw it away, eventually moving it to her Bible, between the cover and the paper lining, once Derek became abusive.
Over the next ten years, Jake sent her cards every time his duty station changed, something she only discovered while taking out the trash five years ago, finding his card detailing his assignment to VFA-151 in Lemoore, which mentioned the other cards he’d sent.
When Derek found it hidden in her dresser, he threw the card again, and she got a sprained wrist and slammed against the bedroom doorframe for it.
Unable to escape her memories and regrets, she lay restless in bed until it was time to get up.
The routine was just that; after washing up, she woke Luke, so the two of them could eat breakfast before she looked for jobs in the area—since it’d been four months since Derek last found them, she felt it was safe to start looking for at least a part-time job—and because it was a Sunday, they would go to church for Mass at noon.
The church was nice, and the homily was decent, but it just made her miss her old parish church.
She especially missed Father Janusz.
The grandfatherly priest was the one who encouraged and exhorted her to leave Derek; he and his sister, Bożena, his housekeeper, were the only ones who believed her when she first said she was being abused.
Because Derek hadn’t just fooled her, he’d managed to fool the whole community into thinking she was crazy and a cheater, and that he was a salt-of-the-earth Sheriff’s Deputy, suffering an unhappy marriage for the sake of his son.
Father Janusz and Bożena kept her anchored to the world, even through Derek’s relentless gaslighting.
She remembered the night she left.
“Go, my daughter,” Father urged, pulling her into a warm embrace.
“I’m scared, Father.”
“Be not afraid, Stacia.
Just drive; get away from here.
We’ll handle the rest, and cross the bridges when we get there.
Here, take this.”
Father drew back, and pressed a cellphone and a credit card into her hand. “The cellphone is one of the administrative phones paid for by the parish; don’t worry about the charges—and this is the card to a savings account in Bożena’s name.
I placed some money there for you from my personal savings.”
Tears welled in her eyes, “Father, I can’t take all this, you’ve already done so much for me and Luke,” she gestured at the ‘97 Toyota Camry Father had given her.
“You will—you must.
Do it for your boy, hmm?”
She nodded wordlessly.
“Now go, Stacia—I’ll file the annulment with the Diocese, as well as the divorce papers, request for custody of Łukasz, and restraining order, in the city tomorrow, first thing in the morning.”
“Okay—thank you so much for everything, Father—I can’t thank you enough.”
“No thanks needed, child.
Niech Bóg będzie z tobą, Anastasja.”
The divorce and annulment went smoother than she thought it would, but somehow, even with the testimonies of Father Janusz and Bożena, she still managed to come out the bad person, with the request for a restraining order denied, and Derek cleared on his charges of domestic and child abuse.
She comforted herself with the fact that at least she somehow got sole custody of Luke, and together, they ran to the other side of Texas.
She and Luke were beginning to settle down three months after the whole thing, when she got a call at half past midnight from Bożena.
“Hello?”
“Stacia, it’s Bożena.
You have to run.”
“What?” she frowned, sitting up.
“Janusz was attacked in the rectory.
He couldn’t identify who it was, but we both believe it was Derek.”
“Is Father alright?” Anastasia gasped.
“He’s as alright as he can be.
But he’s in surgery right now for a broken arm and leg.”
“Did they arrest Derek?”
“No.
There’s no proof it was him, and you know what they think of you and him in that stupid town, córka,” the elderly woman bitterly muttered.
How Sheriff Lackman and the other deputies could be so blind was truly astounding. “But they have to investigate!
Father was badly hurt!”
“And they will, but I have no doubt that “whoever” did it will never be caught and prosecuted for it.
Which is why you have to run.
I’ll put more money in the account Janusz gave you tomorrow.
Take Luke and go, fast,” Bożena urged.
And that conversation was what triggered her packing her life into bags and taking Luke, praying that Derek wouldn’t come after them.
But he had, and he’d found them nearly half a dozen times, to her terror.
“Mama, can we get waffles again for lunch?” Luke’s voice broke her from her thoughts as she stood in front of the door to the church’s parking lot, can of Mace in the hand which wasn’t holding Luke’s.
“Sure, sweetheart,” she absently said, intently scanning the parking lot and checking the corners before she opened the door and they stepped onto the sidewalk.
After checking the backseat and trunk of the car, she buckled Luke into his booster seat, and drove them to the local diner, where she barely ate, wanting to save as much of the money Father Janusz and Bożena gave them, keeping her head on a swivel, ironically using a saying her ex-husband was fond of throwing around with his fellow deputies.
“Mama, I can’t finish, can you help me?”
She looked down to see Luke looking up at her pleadingly. “You barely ate, Kaszek, and you finished the plate last time.”
“‘m not that hungry,” he muttered, tapping his thumb on his opposite palm, his tell that he was lying.
“Lucas Tymoteusz Seresin Malloy, we just came from church.”
He sighed, “Please just help me, Mama?
We can both eat.”
A dagger plunged into her heart; of course he’d noticed that she wasn’t eating much of anything—she’d finished her plate of fries ten minutes ago. “I’m okay, honey, you can finish it.”
The rumbling of her stomach gave a different answer.
“Please, Mama, let’s both eat, please,” Luke pled.
Tears welled in her eyes; her beautiful boy was so loving and considerate, despite all the abuse he’d been raised around. “I don’t want you to be hungry, Luke.”
“I don’t want you to be hungry either, Mama.”
With a sob, she pulled Luke into her arms, running her hand through his dark golden blond hair, the exact same shade as her own. “I don’t deserve you, sweetheart.”
“I love you, Mama.”
“Are you sure, you’ll get hungry later?”
“Mm-hmm.
You’ll be even hungrier than me later if you don’t eat.
Please, Mama.”
“Okay, I’ll eat a little.”
Luke’s smile lit up the room, and it reminded her of Jake’s smile, twisting an old knife in her heart.
She ate less than Luke probably would have liked, but her stomach was glad for the little extra food, and they even managed to enjoy the day, going to the library and the dollar store, where she let him pick out three things, the two of them later deciding to splurge on McDonald’s for dinner, where Luke managed to get the toy he’d wanted in his Happy Meal.
She had an almost optimistic outlook on things when they arrived back at the motel for the night, and she was maybe, just maybe, beginning to hope that she could finally start over.
“Okay, honey, get your clothes for tomorrow,” she said, doing the same and rummaging through her own bag, making use of the system she’d come up with months ago: they kept their clothes and important belongings in the car, just in case they had to make a quick getaway, that way, they would leave as little as possible behind if Derek found them again.
“You good, Kaszek?” Anastasia asked, shoving her clothes in her tote bag.
“Yes, Mama.”
“Okay, let’s go!”
She held Luke’s hand in her left, her can of mace in her other hand, carefully sweeping the parking lot and the motel building with her gaze.
She was just about to step up onto the sidewalk running along the motel building, when her eyes landed on the ground just before their room door.
She stopped in her tracks as fear shuddered down her back.
Because just there, lying innocently in front of their room door, was a single red rose petal.
Red roses.
Those were the flowers he’d always give her after he hurt her, as an apology, to show that he was a “loving and caring” husband.
“Mama.” Luke’s voice was heavy with warning, having obviously also seen the rose petal.
“Look behind us, Luke.
Is he there?” she breathed, trying to keep her voice from shaking, as she gripped her Mace tighter.
“No.
There’s no one, Mama.”
“Good.
We’re going back to the car,” she whispered, glad she’d already paid for the night yesterday, and they wouldn’t have to worry about local police coming after them for the motel room fee.
“Run, Mama?”
“Yes—go.”
They ran back to the car, Luke buckling himself into his booster seat, and she mentally cursed as her trembling hands dropped the key, the sound as it hit the car floor ringing like a death knell, but she managed to pick it up and insert it into the ignition.
To her horror, the car didn’t start, and it could be a figment of her imagination, but she could swear the shadows at the corner of the building were beginning to coalesce into an all-too-familiar figure.
The ignition cranked and cranked, but the car still refused to start.
“Oh God, please,” she cried, turning the key yet again.
The sound of the engine starting was like the most heavenly music, and she threw the car into reverse, speeding towards the highway—she had to stay off the back roads, especially now.
Once they made it to the highway, she felt the tension in her shoulders ease minutely, glancing back to see Luke’s frightened eyes on her.
“You okay, sweetheart?”
“Yes, Mama.
Daddy found us again,” he despairingly breathed.
“I know, I know.
I’m so sorry, Luke, you shouldn’t have to live like this.”
“I’d rather run with you than live with Daddy, Mama.”
Anastasia bit her lip to keep her sob from escaping. “Ja cię kocham, Luke.”
“Ja też cię kocham, Mama.”
“Try to get some rest, okay, sweetheart?”
“I’ll try, Mama.”
An hour later, he was finally asleep, and she allowed the tears she’d been keeping down, to come.
Was this what she’d be doing for the rest of her life?
Always running, always looking over her shoulder, wondering if Derek had found them again?
All she wanted was to be able to breathe, to live, to raise Luke in peace, but where would she be able to do that?
Because Derek had found them, every single time.
Suddenly, as she drove, a wild hope seized her, her thoughts turning to the card in her bag, which she received after Father Janusz was able to convince the mailman to deliver any letters addressed to her to the rectory.
“Dear Stacia,
I don’t know if you even get these, at this point, but since none of them ever get sent back to me, I’m going to keep sending them.
I’ve been assigned to NAS North Island in San Diego for the foreseeable future; I’m part of a new special, elite STRIKFITRON, VFA-223, called the Black Cloaks.
(You’ll never guess what our squadron callsign is)
God, I wish we were on speaking terms, Stash, I want to tell you all about my new squadron.
Without disclosing classified information of how we came to be, we’re the best of the best’s best, forged as a team through one of the toughest missions I think will ever have to be flown, under the command of the best officer I’ve ever met.
And I’d dare to say that we’re a real team… maybe even a family.
I wish I could introduce you to everyone.
I even have a real wingman again.
He was a bit of an acquired taste; we first met in Pensacola for flight training, but he’s not a bad guy, I’m actually happy to fly his wing.
You’d love Phoenix—and Mav, my CO, he’s the second-most charming bastard I know, after yours truly, and the best naval aviator I’ve ever seen.
He handed me my ass all through training for that mission I talked about, and he’s even better than the legendary reputation that precedes him.
He’s taught me so much, and he actually cares about us, not just because we’re valuable to the navy for our skills.
He cares about us as people, and I’m honored to serve under him.
Fuck, there’s so much I want to tell you, all the paper in the world wouldn’t be enough to write it all out.
I pray you’re happy, that I was wrong about everything—there’s nothing more that I want for you, Stacia.
You’ll always be my sister, and I’ll always be your brother, no matter what, even if we never speak again.
Ja cię kocham, Stacia.
All my love forever,
Kuba”
She could go to Jake.
There was no possible way that Derek could bullshit his way onto a Navy base without a military ID.
They could be safe there.
But her mind flashed back to the argument she had with Jake all those years ago, to the horrible things she told him.
Could he forgive her for what she said, for the years of silence, first voluntary, then forced by Derek—could he forgive her for all of it?
Anastasia suddenly shook her head; that was her pride talking—from all the letters he’d written, there was clearly nothing that he wanted more than for them to speak again, so why would he turn her away?
At any rate, she thought, looking at Luke’s peaceful face in the rearview mirror, even if Jake did turn her away, maybe California would finally be far enough away from Derek, and she pulled over to look up the address for NAS North Island.
It felt like it took forever, but finally, after hours and hours of driving, she pulled up to the gate of NAS North Island.
The guard peered into the car before looking expectantly at her. “Good evening—ID?”
She handed over her driver’s license, and the guard took one look at it, before saying, “I need your USID, ma’am.”
Anastasia mentally facepalmed.
The very requirement which would keep her and Luke safe from Derek, would be the same thing which kept them out.
“I… I don’t have one.”
“Then I’m afraid you can’t enter.”
Her heart sank. “Please, sir, my brother is assigned here, I need to get in—”
“Ma’am, without a USID, I can’t allow—”
“I need to see my brother,” she pled. “Please, sir, we haven’t spoken in years, so I don’t know his number, but I know he’s stationed here and living on base, and I need to see him.”
“Ma’am—”
“If you call him—surely his number is in some sort of database—he’ll tell you I’m his sister.
Please, I have nowhere else to go, sir,” she breathed, tears welling up against her will.
The guard stared at her for a long moment, and then turned to face the computer in his station. “Alright, I’ll call him, but if he says you can’t come in, or he doesn’t know you, you have to leave, ma’am.
Does your son have any ID?”
“No, sir.”
He ambivalently hummed, before typing something into his computer. “What’s your brother’s name?”
“Jacob Seresin.
He’s a pilot.”
He typed some more, then picked up a phone, the sound of the buttons seeming so loud in the night air, before the longest silence she’d ever heard deafened her, and she prayed that Jake would answer the call.
Blessedly, finally, the guard perked up. “I’m very sorry to wake you, Lieutenant, but I have a kid and woman here at the gate asking me to let them in, she says they need to get to your house,” the guard replied.
A short silence.
“The young man has no ID on him, but the woman’s driver’s license says Anastasia Malloy.”
This silence felt like an eternity, and Anastasia held her breath, praying that Jake wouldn’t turn his back on her, that her hope in him wasn’t unfounded.
“Alright, sir.
I’ll escort them to your housing.”
She sobbed in relief, leaning her forehead against the steering wheel.
“Alright, ma’am, your story checks out.
I’ll be escorting you to your brother’s housing, just wait here.”
Once the guard came back with someone else to man the gate, he drove up in a black Charger, instructing her to follow.
“Mama, we’re going to see Uncle Jake?” Luke asked.
“Yeah, we are, baby, hopefully, he’ll let us stay with him, at least for a little while,” she replied, trying to keep her voice even as the emotions were coursing through her.
“Do you think he’ll like me?”
“Of course he will, Kaszek, he’ll love you.”
Her brother had a soft heart under all the bravado he liked to show the world, and if he was still the Jake she remembered, he would love Luke, even if only because he was her son.
“I hope so, Mama.”
They drove past score after score of cookie cutter houses before stopping, and her breath caught in her throat.
Shadowed by the exterior lighting of his house, Jake stood on the path leading up to his house.
From what she could see, he looked much the same as a decade ago, but maybe with a slightly more muscular build, like he’d finally grown into the figure given to him by their father, his hair was disheveled as if he’d run his hands through it repeatedly, and there was a taut line of tension in his body, which she instinctually prayed was not going to lead to anger directed at her.
“Wait here, okay, sweetheart?”
“Yes, Mama.”
She stepped out of the car on shaking legs, walking to her little brother.
He looked her up and down, the tension seeming to pull tighter throughout his body, a furrow carving its way between his brow as he took her state in, and she fearfully looked into his eyes, their mother’s eyes, as tears she could no longer contain, traced down her cheeks.
The fear practically drained from her as she registered the look of warmth, love, and concern in those green eyes, and she murmured, voice trembling and breaking, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know where else to go.”
“Oh, Stacia.”
And as he opened his arms to her, she launched herself forward into his embrace, sobbing, feeling safe for the first time in what seemed like an eternity.
To be continued…

There is actually a sizable Polish community in Texas, and in fact, one of the oldest churches in the state is a Polish Catholic Church.
Which is just perfect, because here, the Texas-born Seresin twins have Polish ancestry and nicknames, since I headcanon that Jake has Polish ancestry, like his actor, Glen Powell’s supposed ancestry, so—

NAS Pensacola is “The Cradle of Naval Aviation”, where all Naval Aviators and WSOs go for their flight training, and training can go from eighteen months to as long as two years.
I played it safe with two years.
VFA-151, the “Vigilantes”, based out of NAS Lemoore, is Jake’s squadron in TG:M, according to his flight suit patch.
STRIKFITRON stands for Strike Fighter Squadron.
Gee, I wonder what VFA-223’s squadron callsign is…
USID: Uniformed Service Identification
It is highly unlikely someone could pull an Anastasia and get on base the way she did, but it’s all for the ahhhht, dahhhling.
My subtitle for this story was the working title this story was under until I came up with “Safe and Sound” as the actual title.
It’s derived from the classic Peanuts television special, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”.
I thought about not putting it, but giving Jake the biggest karmic bitchslap was the entire reason I came up with the plot, so I’m putting it.

"You didn't leave me," Derek argues. "How can you expect me to leave you?"
Stiles rolls his eyes. "Oh my god, it'll be fine. Even if I am captured, I'm just a boring human. They wanted you for your Lycan blood."
Derek crosses his arms. Mainly so he doesn't wrap his hands around Stiles' throat in an attempt to throttle some sense into him. "That's fine. But this isn't a time when being a boring human is an asset. This is a time when being a boring human results in a shot to the head."
"Derek," Stiles says again. He steps closer, so Derek is surrounded in his scent, his chemosignals—namely unwavering, resolute determination, distinctively sharp and entirely unbreakable—clouding Derek's mind. "You'll come back for me." He sounds so sure, and he can tell the exact moment Derek gives in. Because Derek somehow always gives in to Stiles.
"I'll come back for you," he confirms. "And you better not be dead."
Stiles grins, eyes sparkling with far too much humour for someone who potentially just sacrificed himself for a surly Lycan and bunch of strangers. "You do say the sweetest things."
In Progress:

Unbroken
An excerpt from Chapter 4 of Raise Your Voices that I’m particularly fond of. Some context may be missing but not enough to affect the crux of the story.
This takes place somewhere between Irresistible and Colony.
Summary: A night staying with a host family while working undercover opens some of Mulder’s old wounds.
Rating: Gen
Word Count: 1,653
TW/CW: Flashbacks
Tagging @today-in-fic
“Where are you from, again?” Mulder asked Dmitri on the car ride back to Derek and Sandra’s house. The couple seemed pleasant enough, but neither were the intrusive type, which meant that it was up to Mulder to keep the conversation going.
Dmitri rolled his eyes. “I have said before. I am from Belarus.”
“What brings you here?”
Dmitri scowled at him. “I am trying to study music. Is harder to do in Belarus.”
Mulder wanted to ask more questions, but could tell they wouldn’t be well received, so he allowed the car to lapse back into silence for the rest of the drive.
“Don’t mind Dmitri,” Sandra murmured to him as they unpacked the car, about half an hour later. “He gets those same questions a lot, as you might imagine. It can be a bit frustrating.” That’s fair.
“I promise I meant no offense. I’m just a curious type.” Though maybe Mitchell the maple farmer wasn’t. Careful.
“When Dmitri first got here, we were, too,” chimed in Derek as he walked out to help. “We wanted to know everything about his past. But the more time we spent with him, the more we realized just how alienating our questions were. To him, it must have felt more like an interrogation than anything else.”
The voices hit Mulder so suddenly that he almost dropped the bag of groceries he was holding.
What happened, Fox?
Why didn’t you call us?
Why didn’t you help her?
Where is she?
It was nothing he hadn’t flashed back to a thousand times before, but somehow it got to him every time. You’re undercover. Stay here.
He nodded as Derek opened the door and they walked into the kitchen. “That makes complete sense.” God, the feeling of being interrogated with the same questions over and over again. He knew it all too well.
You know why you’ve been admitted, right?
We’re just going to ask you some simple questions.
No, you can’t leave yet. You aren’t better.
Why aren’t you better?
Dammit, Mulder, stay here.
“Are you alright?” asked Sandra, breaking through the haze. He forced himself to nod.
“So, how do you know Dmitri? Are you related?”
Derek shook his head. “Dmitri placed an ad in the paper when he got here seeing if anyone would rent out a room. Our kids were long gone, and things were getting a little quiet in our old age,” he and Sandra both chuckled, “so we said yes.”
“So you’re his landlords?” Awfully protective for landlords.
Derek and Sandra exchanged a glance. “It started out that way,” said Sandra, “but Dmitri really became part of this house.”
Derek smiled. “He seemed quite lonely when he got here. Understandable, of course, but it was hard for us to see, so…”
Sandra interrupted, “We made sure to let him know that he belonged here.”
Derek nodded. “He’s family now.”
The whole thing was a little too saccharine for Mulder’s taste, however lovely it might be. “He’s family now.” As if it were that easy to just have a family. As if it were that easy even to keep the family you were born with, to not let them down. As if it were that easy to deserve love.
The room started to spin.
How could you just let them take her?
What do you mean the doctors haven’t fixed you yet?
We’re splitting up. There’s nothing keeping us together anymore.
Your mother’s already lost one child. Make sure you don’t break her heart again.
Stop calling me. I don’t have time for this.
They say they’ve found her.
They’re always wrong.
Why didn’t you do more?
This is your fault. It’s all your fault.
Mulder barely managed to force out an apology mixed with an excuse about not feeling well before he was stumbling up the stairs, his body overtaken by sensations from the past, old words mixing with his thoughts, his memories, and his guilt.
This family had extended their deepest love to a complete stranger. It was so easy, so simple, yet Mulder had still failed to deserve the same sentiments from those who were supposed to provide them to him without question. Even now, he was still trying to make up for everything he’d ruined. Most days, it was all he wished for. But even if he did find Samantha, he knew it would never be enough. Love wasn’t feasible for him, not in the way it was for Dmitri or anyone in the Green Mountain Singers or the rest of the world. It was a fact that Mulder was used to carrying with him, but sometimes it shattered him nonetheless.
Sitting in a stranger’s house, curled up against the bedroom door, Mulder was a lonely child all over again, wishing and waiting for his parents to arrive and tell him everything was going to be alright, burdened with the knowledge that they never would. He felt as he had in the child psychiatric ward: ruined and alone and afraid. He needed to come back to the present. He needed to feel safe, to feel cared for, to feel alright.
It was against protocol, but he picked up the phone and dialed the one person who made him feel like he wasn’t broken.
“Hello?”
“Scully, it’s me.”
“Mulder,” she whispered over the phone, “we’re not supposed to call each other. You know that.”
“I’m sorry,” he whispered back, trying (and failing) to keep his voice from breaking. “I just…” I needed to hear your voice. You’re the one person who can keep me grounded.
“Mulder,” her voice was much gentler now, “what’s wrong?”
How do I even begin to explain this? “Can you just…can you stay on the phone for a while? Can we talk about nothing?” Bring me back. You’re the only one who ever could.
“Sure, Mulder,” she quipped. “Tonight I spent three hours singing Eastern European folk songs and making potato and cheese casserole.”
“There’s a combination of words I never thought I’d hear from you.”
“You know, Mulder, these people are definitely…strange,” she observed, “but there’s a certain charm to them. Their unconditional support for one another is rather admirable.” He had to stop himself from letting out a bitter laugh. Support is never unconditional. Not really. He gripped the phone tighter, wishing Scully was really there for him to hold onto. Support is never unconditional. But sometimes I can believe that hers is, even just for a second. She was unique to him, in that way and in so many others.
“I get what you mean,” he replied. “The couple I’m staying with basically adopted this kid Dmitri, just because they wanted to, and…” He stopped, not wanting to burden her with his pain while she was already miserable on this assignment. It was too late. He could almost hear her put two and two together over the phone. Though the human mind was his area of expertise, his mind fell within hers. She knew what set him off, and he often caught her trying to protect him from those triggers when she thought he wouldn’t notice. She was naïve in that particular regard. Care was such a rarity in his life that he never failed to perceive it when it graced him.
“Adoption is a wonderful thing,” she said. “Some parents are very compassionate. Some less so. Studies show that the levels of compassion have very little to do with the child.” He knew why she was sharing those particular statistics. It didn’t help, but the fact that she was trying spoke volumes.
“Have your statistics accounted for outliers?”
“Not from Martha’s Vineyard.” Her directness caught him off guard, but of course she’d figured him out. She was too clever not to.
“Scully, I…”
“Mulder, I haven’t met your family, but whatever they made you believe, it isn’t true.” They didn’t make me believe it. It’s the Truth.
“My family did the best they could, Scully. It’s not their fault they didn’t have the mental capacity to raise a kid after what happened. I mean, who would?”
A pause. “It’s just…it’s not productive to blame yourself, Mulder. You were too young.” You don’t blame me. You’re the only one who doesn’t blame me. Why?
“It’s alright,” he replied. It isn’t, not really, but it’s better now that you’re here. Everything’s easier with you here. “I’ve accepted that. It’s just…” he sighed, “sometimes places like this get to me.” They make me wish I had a home to go back to. A real home. A home that feels like autumn sweaters and hot apple cider and warm hugs. A home that isn’t broken. This was the one thing about him that Scully would never understand. She had a home, and always would.
“Well,” she answered after a moment, “it’s no community choir. But you’ve got me, and I’m not going anywhere.” Her words held extra weight after all she’d been through lately.
He thought of days spent in dark basements crouched over files, of long road trips and meaningless back-and-forth chatter, of running into the dark together, of him being pushed to his limit in her name, standing over a hospital bed or wrapping his arms around her at the base of a darkened stairwell. He thought of her going to the ends of the Earth for his sake in Idaho, Washington, Puerto Rico, California, and everywhere in between. He thought of running after the Truth and her running after him, no matter how many times he showed her that he didn’t deserve it.
Maybe he had a home after all.
“I know.” And how lucky I am.
Another pause.
“It’s getting late. We should get some sleep. Especially you. You have band rehearsal in the morning.”
“Don’t remind me,” she groaned. “And Mulder?”
“Yeah?”
“You can call me again if you need to.”
He smiled. “Same to you.”
“Goodnight, Mulder.”
“Goodnight, Scully.”

“Stiles, I was talking about the lasagna”
Fic written for @sterekweekly’s prompt ‘confess’. Rated T, 2.4k words. Tags: pining, fluff, confessions, humor, banter. Read on AO3.
Summary:
The time Stiles thought his dad could read minds and ended up confessing his inner most thoughts starring Derek—twice.~ 🐺💝
Stiles liked surprises.
In fact, he loved them.
But he didn’t know how he felt about the surprise of Derek showing up to the pack meeting looking like that.
To be fair, he should’ve been the least surprised, considering he was the one who’d gifted Derek that deep burgundy v-neck sweater for Valentine’s Day—anonymously, of course. He’d ordered it along with a fluffy blanket and chocolates and had them shipped to Derek’s flat addressed to a different name to make it seem like a misdelivered package, all to make sure Derek never figured out it was from him.
A lot of trouble for arguably nothing, but Derek of all people deserved at least a little coziness in his life. Everytime Stiles saw Derek’s apartment, he found himself bewildered by the absolute lack of comfort and homeliness and warmth, because look, having a minimalist interior design did not equate to not having any blankets or rugs anywhere.
A month had passed since then, though, without Derek wearing the sweater once or even mentioning that he’d gotten a misdelivered package in the mail. Stiles had assumed that Derek had returned it, set it aside, forgotten about it, or thrown it out—who knew—and moved on.
He hadn’t particularly expected anything to begin with.
But then Derek had walked into that pack meeting wearing the v-neck sweater that Stiles had spent a pathetic amount of time picking out, looking so unfairly stunning and for the first time, relaxed, and—
Stiles couldn’t stop thinking about it. Couldn’t stop thinking about the way Derek smiled at him a little on his way out when he’d commented, “Your sweater looks soft,” after both Erica and Isaac said something similar—(he figured it wouldn’t be weird of him to mention it if the others did, too.)
Even Lydia had complimented Derek with a “Not your usual style, but it’s even better. I didn’t peg you as someone with an eye for flattering colors and fits.”
So Stiles thought it’d be safe to say something.
“It’s very soft,” was Derek’s reply.
Stiles nodded. “Baby alpaca wool is supposed to be the softest.”
That was why he’d picked it, after all.
Derek just gave him an amused look in response.
He went home soon after, still thinking about Derek and that little smile and the way that sweater might as well have been tailored for him and his ripped muscles, only to find his dad waiting for him, arms crossed.
“C’mon Stiles, just confess already,” his dad said with a sigh when Stiles told him he wasn’t hiding anything. “Are we really going to play this game?”
‘Confess what?!’ Stiles wanted to scream, but then—
Oh god.
He was hiding one thing, his feelings for Derek, but there was no way that was what his dad was talking about.
Right?
…Right?
Stiles’ hands grew clammy and his dad just stood there looking profoundly stern and unbudging and oh god, he knew his dad had detective skills, but this was just freaky, because he was pretty sure he hadn’t been obvious about it, so maybe his dad could just read minds…?
His dad sighed again and tapped his foot, and Stiles cracked under the pressure.
He didn’t even know what all he babbled and rambled about, but it went something along the lines of fine, so what if he liked Derek, it wasn’t like it was ever going to happen and they were just friends, and it wasn’t weird that he’d secretly sent him a Valentine’s Day gift because that was what Valentine’s Day was for to begin with, right? And he didn’t even know Derek had opened his gift for sure until tonight when he wore that sweater, and you know what, he might be a genius because that sweater looked fucking amazing on Derek and Derek looked fucking amazing and he looked so content and relaxed and happy, and Stiles was just glad that Derek had maybe liked his gift because Derek deserved to be happy. Plus Derek had mentioned at the pack meeting that he was thinking about building himself a small house in the woods and he’d looked so soft when he said that, and of course Stiles had volunteered to help and he was happy if Derek was happy and he was fine, just fine, really—
“Stiles, I was talking about the lasagna you hid that Melissa brought over,” interrupted his dad just before he really spiraled. “Not your, uh…secret feelings.”
And Stiles just stood there slack-jawed in shocked, humiliated silence, like a moron, while his dad rubbed his temples.

<<Link To Part 1
Let's continue.
"I guess I should congratulate you two... alright moving on."
XD
Come on, I think Miriam deserves a round of applause for that performance.
"But I don't know how to drive!"
...you sure about that?
Oh you asshole.
...wait, how do you know whose kart is supposed to be who's?
You could've sabotaged Fiore!
OH MY GOD TOM YOU'VE REDEEMED YOURSELF
WAIT A MINUTE...
OH MY GOD THAT'S A BRILLIANT CALLBACK.
KARMA'S A BITCH
So Miriam's gotta win now. There's no way.
...wait Tom might've committed child murder with this.
Eh, add that to his body count in VR.
OH NO NOT THE MOOSE
I'M SORRY BUDDY
OH SHIT HERE WE GO
I hope Tom doesn't get arrested for this.
OOOOOHHHH COME ON MIRIAM
YOU GOT THIS
OH GEEZ DON'T RAM HER
...
Actually, yeah, RAM HER. What am I saying?!
COME ON MIRIAM
"NO NO NO! I WILL NOT LOSE HERE!! NOT AFTER EVERYTHING!!! MOVE YOU STUPID-"
OH GEEZ
UM....
IS SHE ALIVE?!
I don't necessarily care about Fiore's well being, I just don't want Tom to go to jail for child murder.
DON'T TELL ME THIS BLOW GETS HER TO PASS MIRIAM AND WIN
IS THIS A VILLAIN WIN?!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
OH THANK GOD.
...
I MEAN, IT'S BAD THAT SHE CRASHED IN FIRE, BUT THANK GOD SHE DIDN'T CROSS THE FINISH LINE...
God, I'm gonna have the police at my door now.
MIRIAM WON!!🎉
Deserved, honestly. That's a winner I can get behind.
At least she's alive...
I think Tom's going to jail, though.
"Uh, hello? Is someone gonna help me?"
"Help yourself."
DAMN.
THAT'S COLD.
DUDE, SHE JUST GOT IN A CAR CRASH AND YOU'RE GONNA TELL HER TO HELP HERSELF?!
I'm so conflicted right now. Do I pity Fiore? Do I not?? I don't know...
"AAAAAHHHH! I HATE THEM I HATE THEM I HATE THEM!! DAMN JERKS, I HOPE THEY ALL DIE!!"
Demon Child is gonna haunt everyone in their sleep.
*Gets coffee creamer ad*
OMG AGAIN?!
Fiore joins Jake at the coffee shop of depression XD
"Aren't you a little young for coffee?"
"MOVE OVER AND GIVE ME YOUR CREAM!"
"Yes Queen" XD
YES QUEEN!!!
*sirens*
Oh no XD
"TOM, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR ATTEMPTED CHILD MURDER"
"Vladimir Jensen, Trevor Mcgregor, and Derek Johnson. You are al under arrest for wildlife damage, destruction of protected property, and illegal deforestation."
OH.
OH I FORGOT ABOUT THAT.
THE COPS ARE DOING THEIR JOB.
"Well they really took their time, didn't they?"
I bet Tom is the kind of guy to say "COPS SUCK. OMG THEY'RE SO IMPOSSIBLE."
OH SHIT-
OH SHIT HE'S GOT A GUN
WELL THIS ESCALATED QUICKLY
"This is for killing the animals!"
😨
GABBY YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT-

COME ON DON'T PULL A HEATHER TO MIRIAM!
OH TOM'S GOING AFTER THEM HE'S GOT A HOOK IDK WHERE HE GOT THAT FROM THINGS ARE HAPPENING SO FAST RIGHT NOW-
OH GOD HE'S FIGHTING
I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING ANYMORE
TOM DON'T DIE
OH NO
WAIT DID THEY DIE?!?!?!?!
OH MY GOD...
PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TOM DIED.
*cuts to black*
OH MY GOD...
What just happened?!?!
DID TOM DIE?!?!?!
'I think they died, what do we do?'
Oh my god no... THAT WAS TOO FAST.
"Where's Tom? Is he okay?!"
OH JAKE NO
This is why Jake's horrible in Season 3.
He doesn't even get to make amends with Tom because Tom DIED.
They ended things on awful terms and then he died...
"Surely he's dead."
FUCK YOU FIORE. GO GET IN ANOTHER CAR CRASH.
OH THANK YOU. HE'S OKAY.
"What happened?"
"I got on the bus. It lost control and I managed to jump just before it went off the cliff."
What about the other dude? DID HE DIE?!
TOM DID YOU KILL A MAN?!
AGAIN?
At least Miriam got her money.
But I think she's gonna have to bail Tom out of prison for killing several people, attempting to kill a child, threatening a child at gunpoint that one time, battery for cutting off Ellie's arm, and being a spy.
"After I gave them info about these crooked TV hosts and Jensen, they decided to hire me."
...wait what?
"I hope to be a better officer than a spy."
WAIT YOU'RE A COP NOW?!?! WHAT?!?!?!
How did that happen!? I'm pretty sure that's not how that works!
Oh my god, Tom is a cop... I don't feel safe now.
I feel like Tom would be the bad cop, as we've established XD
"See, EVERYTHING is legal for me! I can get a kid in a car crash and kill a man A-Okay! BECAUSE I'M A COP!!"
And just flash his badge everywhere.
Aw, they're friends. That's sweet.
Oh Jake...
"I'm glad you're okay, Tom. Sorry, I just thought you didn't want to talk to me."
Oh he actually is talking. Okay?
"It's okay... I think everything happens for a reason."
"What do you mean?"
"We were both fools, Jake. I know I was harsh with you and the truth is... I'm not innocent in this. We both acted impulsively. We made mistakes. But I don't regret it. You helped me learn from those mistakes."
Awwwww don't do this to me 💗
"Will you still talk to me?"
Imagine if he said NO.
"Nah, fuck you. Bye. Gonna go live it up in the cop world now!"
"I think we should take some time and grow as people."
Oh he actually DID say no... oh...
So they're distancing themselves from each other?
Not saying that's a bad idea, but damn.
"We'll see where we are later on."
In Season 3 I guess, if they are keeping distance.
"I agree... no matter what, I'm glad I met you Tom."
💗
OH COME ON DON'T DO THAT TO ME 💗
You know what? GOOD. GOOD FOR YOU FOR CHOOSING THE DISTANCE ROUTE. Y'ALL GO WALLOW IN ISCOLATION. YOU DON'T DESERVE EACH OTHER. I DON'T CARE. I DON'T SHIP THIS. NOPE. NOPE. MM MM. NO I DON'T.
YOU HAVE NO PROOF I SHIP THIS. YOU DON'T.
(Edit: Uh, Golden? Your reactions say otherwise... people are gonna bully you for this)
I have entered my denial stage of grief. Good lord.
If this is followed up by me going through the five stages of grief, good lord, I don't want to be on this ship anymore...
Who are you???
"What happened to Jensen?"
"No one knows. They never found a body."
So he's not dead???
"How'd they let you run another season after this?"
Oh wait cause the old hosts got arrested, this is the new host. GOTCHA.
"What selection?"
"For the next season, duh."
Bring on the Season 2 cast.
"We need to decide the participants for All Stars."
Wait what? What about Season 2?
Does this take place AFTER Season 2??? Huh??? I am confusion.
...
And that's how it ends. Okay.
That was Season 1! We finished it!
That was... a lot. I can't even wrap my head around it.
I really enjoyed reacting to this. I'm glad I did too.
I'm definitely going to make a tier list after this. Thank you guys for supporting my reactions.
Like I said, this really does feel like a new era for my blog, and that's... insane to think about.
You know what?
I wasn't subbed before XD
Now I am.
I like supporting indie productions, what can I say?
I do hope at least some of my followers, you know, take some sort of interest in this too. I can't promise this will work for everyone. Hell, it's got problems. I can't ignore that. But um...
WHOOPS. I'M OBSESSED.
I FEEL MY TOTAL DRAMA PHASE RETURNING GUYS.
So... yeah, I'm gonna react to Season 2 & 3 as well. Yay.
I salute everyone that worked on this show. With Hollywood and major corporations dragging artistic freedom and expression through the mud, you showcase with your efforts that there IS hope for animation. You're inspirations for people to make what they want and not be held back.
Regardless on how you feel about this show, you have to hand it to these producers for pushing boundaries like this. Not a lot of people have the guts to do what they do.
Anyway... that's it from me with this season. You can probably expect some more Disventure Camp posts from me in the future. Bye!

May Fic Rec❤️
stuck in reverse by crazyassmurdererwall (smartalli) - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 65656, sterek)
Look, Derek is the worst. Everyone knows that. Their fearless leader is a total and complete failwolf.
Which means the rest of them? Are kind of the worst too. They’re a ramshackle, slap dashed, sorry excuse for a pack that’s about a half second away from getting one of them killed. And this is a problem, because Stiles would really like to survive high school. Thanks.
Still, nobody deserves what Derek has gone through. Nobody.
And it’s about time somebody told him that.
There Are No Wolves in California (Werewolves on the Other Hand...) byisthatbloodonhisshirt (wasterella), KioFox - (Rating: Mature, Words: 49010, sterek)
“I’m not calming down until you call animal control! I fucking saw it! There were fucking wolves!”
“There are no wolves in California, Mr. Daehler,” the principal said, sounding exasperated, like this was the third time she’d said it to him.
“Well clearly there are!” he shouted back, showing such a lack of respect for the woman, Stiles had to applaud her for her fortitude not to smack him in the face.
“Perhaps you were mistaken,” she said calmly.
“No I wasn’t fucking mistaken,” Matt insisted, sounding incensed. “No way these were dogs, they were massive!”
For a second, Stiles felt like the world had slowed considerably as those words wormed their way into his brain. Because—he knew a dog that was massive. Honestly, he’d also brushed away the idea of the dog being a wolf because there were no wolves in California.
But... what if there were?
Holy shit, had Stiles literally spent his lunch break with a fucking wolf cuddled into his side while he pet it?! Good God, he was lucky to still have all his limbs!
Go Away, Scott by HelloWhyTheFuckAmIHere - (Rating: Not Rated, Words: 66227, sterek)
After the incident at the warehouse, Stiles is fed up with Scott. He finds himself drawn into Derek’s pack and in the process, drawn to Derek himself.
With the Alpha Pack closing in, Derek needs to learn how to trust his pack and those around him. And who better to help him than Stiles?
Camaro '68 by ZainClaw - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 17709, sterek)
Derek huffs, arching one eyebrow. "I'm not a fugitive." "You look like a fugitive," Stiles insists, practically beaming. "Maybe you should start wearing cardigans."
In which Stiles is a hitchhiker and Derek a runaway whose paths cross at a gas station in the California desert.
Wash the Rain by BarlowGirl - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 5659, sterek)
“Oh,” Stiles says, sharp and thin, more of a whimper than a word, his muscles going stiff and tight.
Derek starts to check on him, and his gaze gets caught halfway, where a dark, wet spot is spreading across the front of Stiles’ underwear. So fucking easy, his brain says, and he has to breathe for a moment, in and out.
“Oh my God.” Stiles’ voice is low, muffled. When Derek finally drags his eyes away from that wet spot, he has his arm across his eyes, hiding his face. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t,” Derek says, hiding a grin. “Don’t, it’s okay. You’ll last longer next time.”
Stiles moans.
OR: PORN
Where the Wild Things Went by banafofool - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 6974, sterek)
In the mass of cosmic chances, the universe had at least two things planned out. One, Claudia Stilinski and Talia Hale would be best friends. Two, their friendship would bring Derek Hale and Stiles Stilinski together.
Or at least this is what Stiles believes.
Words Whispered By Firelight by tigerlady (shetiger) - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 6698, sterek)
"We had our own stories, though. Werewolf stories."
Stiles takes an aimless couple steps forward, the curiosity in him a thing of kinetic energy. "Like what?"
Stiles wants to try something; Derek isn't so sure it's a good idea.
Daddy's Good Boy by DenaCeleste - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 3242, sterek)
Still haunted by the trauma of the Nogitsune’s possession, Stiles let’s slip some deep-seated needs that he’s never talked about before. Though he tries to hide, Derek won’t let him. Instead, he has to convince Stiles that he really can have what his heart desires.
I'll Always Take Care of You by adult_disneyprincess (orphan_account) - (Rating: Mature, Words: 2360, sterek)
Love You Most by LadySlytherin - (Rating: Mature, Words: 2974, sterek)
There are things Derek never expected to have. Things he’d resigned himself to the loss of. A proper pack, a mate, and children topped that list. He couldn't be happier that he’d been wrong.

Chapter 12
Previous chapter | Next chapter
As Cristina and Amory jjogged through the park, forced to do so by Meredith, the first woman stopped to catch her breath. “Oh, you’re stupid, oh god…” As they resumed the jog, she went on. “You’re a stupid, evil sadist and I want to kill you.”
“I’ll help. This is not the hours to do this. Can you go sloer, I have short legs!” The smaller girl managed to get out through her beacy breaths, as she tried to catch up.
“Endorphins are good. Endorphins are mood elevators. This is supposed to make us feel better.” The dirty blonde explained.
“Oh god, do you feel better?” Cristina moaned as they stopped.
“I don’t.” Amory pointed out as she reached her friends, bending over slightly to catch her breath. “There’s a reason I don’t run.”
“I’m stupid.” Meredith admitted.
“Slutty mistress.” The Asian woman insulted, Amory glaring at her.
“Pregnant whore.” The dirty blonde returned.
“Just wait until I’m not too tired to hit you two.” She threatened, still bent over, hands on her knees.
“Sleeping with out bossed was a terrible idea.”
“You know what’s ruined for me? Ferry boats. I used to love ferry boats and Derek has got at hing for ferry boats. Now everytime I see a freaking ferry boat…” Thedorty blonde vented, the short girl laying down on the grass.
“You know what’s ruined for me? Coronary artery by-pass grafts. And aortic aneurysms. God, I used to love aortic aneurysms.” Both her friends flopped down beside her, looking up at the sky.
“Yeah, that”s worse.” Amory shared.
“Have you cried yet?” Meredith questioned as the short girl decided whether she should tell her friends about her new relationship.
“Do you think we’d feel better if we cried? Just like that, let it out?” Cristina wondered.
“You would. It has helped me a lot…” The small girl shared her advice. All of the sudden, she hits both her friends at once and they made a protesting noise. “What? I warned you I would hit you once I wasn’t too tired anymore.”
“God, Amy, that one hurt.”
“You deserved it…” They fell into comfortable silence, until the short girl blurted out. “I’ve been seeing George.”
“You… what?” Meredith almost yelled.
“I’ve been seeing George. For a couple of weeks now.” She looked from the sky to her friends to see their reaction.
“God, you could have waited some more timed, Amy.” The dirty blonde let out, making the girl furrow her brows in confusion.
“Ha! You owe me twenty, pay uo.” Cristina laughed in victory.
“She… what? Why does she owe you money?” The girl shook her head in confusion, but already guessing why in her head.
“I bet you two would get together by this week, Mer though it’d take longer. Now I got some money for free.” The Asian woman explained with a smile.
“You did nt!” She hit both her friends again. “Crisitna yan!” She hit the girl to her left an turned to her right. “Meredith Grey!” She smacked the dirty blonde. Now hitting both of them at once to accentuate her words, she kept going. “We do not…” And again. “Bet…” And again. “On our friends…” And another one, as the women tried to get up. “Love life!!” She got another smack in before they started running from her.
“I’m not so tired anymore.” Cristina sprinted along with Meredith, leaving the small girl behind.
~~~~~~
Now in the hospital’s locker room, Amory tells her new boyfriend what had happened, what she found out during her morning run with the other two interns.
“They bet on us, George! Like actually money, on how long we’d take to start seeing each other.” The frustration made the girl’s voice higher in pitch, as she vented.
“Tehy… what? Money? On us?” The boy blurted out, confused, as he tried to comfort Amory through holding her hand.
The girl made an affirmative noise, their attention soon being drawn to the sound of Izzie giggling next to Alex. “What is she doing?” Crisitna asked, certain disgust in her voice.
“She’s… hanging out with Alex.” The male intern pointed out the obvious.
“Why?” The Asian woman questioned.
“I don’t know…” George said.
“Maybe they’re friends?” The shorter girl suggested.
“Make tha lambs stop screaming.” The boy stage-whispered as Meredith tied her shoes, making his girlfriend giggle.
As they left and walked down the hallway, Bailey and Alex in front of them, Izzie explained. “You guys are wrong about him, alright. Once you get to know him he’s really sweet.”
“He’s Alex.” George deadpenned, his hand on the small of Amory’s back.
“Look, he was sweet to me once and the next day he was an ass.” The young intern shared, shrugging. “If he’s actually willing to be decent then fine, if he wants to just switch around like that I’m not putting up with it.”
“Hey, Grey.Izzie was talling me about the tapes of your mom performing surgery.” Said boy turned around and talked loudly. “I’d kill to see the Ellis Grey in action.”
“Hey, you know what, maybe you can come over tonight and we can all watch it together.” The taller blonde suggested. “Right?”
“Oh, yeah, if this were a hell dimension.” Meredith answered, sarcastically.
“Do you have a thing for Alex?” Amory questioned the tall blonde.
“No!” She exclaimed. At her friends reaction, none of them believing her, she repeated. “I don’t.”
“You have a thing for Alex.” The small girl repeated, this time as an affirmation.
“Are we saving lives or having a tea party? Walk faster people.” Their resident reprimanded.
~~~~~~
“I know, I just think you should tell him about the baby.” Meredith told Cristina, as they and Amory followed Dr. Bailey. “He’d at least have the responsibility of having to pay…”
“No! You know what, he’ll never know. It’s over.”
“I actually don’t agree with Cristina, but if she’s terminating the pregnancy what good would it do to tell him?” The short girl shared.
“Exactly, Amy. After the pregnancy is taked care of, Burke won’t even be a blip on my rader, he’ll be a smudge.”
“Right…” Meredith answered, ironically, as Cristina grabbed her by the shoulders.
“You know, Meredith, leave the sarcasm up to me. Really, it doesn’t suit you.”
The three girls now walked to their patient’s room and Amory added. “I get it, you know. Besides, we don’t know where he stand on abortion. It could do more bad than good to tell him.”
“Thanks, Amy.I appreciate it.”
Once they entered the room, Alex is presenting. “Kelly Roche, 23 years old, in for a scheduled ETS for treatment of erythrophobia and hyperpyrexia.”
“Arythrophobia?” Izzie questioned in a hushed tone.
“Blushing.” Cristina and Amory answered in unison, the first one searching the meaning of the word in a book and the second one saying it solely from memory.
“Do you have any doubts about the procedure?” Their resident asked Kelly.
“Doctor…” The girl stopped, her skin flaring up.The short girl moved to get their patient a wet cloth, to help with the blushing, as Kelly flashed her a thankful look. “Dr. Shepherd explained everything. He was very…, huh…, helpful.” Amory put the cloth of the girls face, in attemmpt to make her more comfortable, as she fannced her face. “He gave me some literat… sorry.”
“Don’t be, there’s nothing to be sorry for.” The young intern smiled at her.
“Besides, half the patients that come here have the hots for Shepherd.” Alex joked, trying to get the patient to feel less embarraced.
“Dr.Karev!” Bailey warned, as Amory kept wetting the patient’s face.
“What? It’s true…”
“Okay, Kelly, I think we’ve finished for now. See you later.” The short girl smiled at the patient as they left the room. Meredith and her went to the vending machine and she commented. “I’m so hungry.”
As she was about to get herself some food, their resident called them. “Hey, there’s a new surgical case coming up from the pit. Likely diverticulitis. Let’s go.”
“So much for my food…” The girl ran to the elevator, her friend beside her.
“Get your hand off le! i could report you to the chief and you’d be out on your ass!” They heard a women yelling as they approached. “You’re all amateurs.” Amory froze next to her friend, recognizing the woman in front of her as the dirty blonde’s mother, or at least a deranged version of the woman.
“Patient’s complaining of cramping pain and diarrhoea.” Cristina read the chart and Meredith grabbed her small friend’s arm tightly. “Also suffers from Alzheimer’s.”
“Amateurs!” The woman screamed, her voice cracking.
“Patient’s name?” At the the lach of response, Bailey insisted. “Yang, patient’s name.”
Ellis Grey’s gaze turned to Meredith and the grip on Amory’s arm only grew stronger. “What the hell are you dong here?” The older woman spat out and Meredith turned to leave, dragging Amory with her. “How many times have I told you not to bother me when I’m at work!” Both girls now hid behind a door, the smaller one almost feeling her friend’s hand cutting off her blood supply.
“Ellis Grey.” Cristina answered Bailey.
“Meredith’s mother.” George almost whispered.
“You’re amateurs! You’re amateurs!” The older Grey kept yelling.
~~~~~~
Now in the locker room, Meredith hadn’t let go of her friend’s arm, as their friends talked over each other on the outside, entrance barred by Bailey.
“Dr. Karev, stick with the ETS case. And Alex, her blushing impulse is not a toy for you to play with or a button for you to push, understood?” Bailey instructed her intern.
“Hey, Meredith? My great-grandmother, she died with Alzheimer’s.” Crisitna shouted. The grasp on Amory’s amr wouldn’t give and she knew that she’d get a bruise from it, but wouldn’t dare deny her friend that comfort. As the dirty blonde hadn’t spoken a word, she also assumed she found comfort in the silence, something else she wouldn’t deny her.
“Izzie, the Dr. Shepherds need an interns up in the NICU.” The resident kept going.
“Wait, both of them? Together? And me, by myself, with the two married people who hate each other…”
“Go. Cristina, you’re on the thoracotomy.”
“With Burke? Oh, can I have the hateful married couplde instead…” Crisitna complained.
“Okay, I’m sorry, I thought I was your resident, not your hostess. I assign, you take. Is that a problem?” Bailey reprimanded. “Is there some reason why it’s inconvenient for you to spend the day, in the OR, learning from Dr. Burke?”
“No, I’m very happy to be working with Dr. Burke, thank you very much.” The intern said quickly and she left.
“George, take care of Dr. Grey.”
“Yes, thank you.” The boy huggede the resident, much to her surprise. “She needs a friend right now…” As he tried to go through the door, the woman stopped him. “Oh, you mean, Ellis, the… mother.”
All the interns now gone, Bailey closed the door behind her as she entered the room, Mereidht’s hand still firm on Amory’s arm. “Are you able to work today?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” The taller intern reassured.
“Cause I would understand it if you wanted to be with your…”
“No.My mother and I don’t have the easiest… it’s just better if I’m working.”
“Okay, you’re on scut.” The resident informed.
“Excuse me?”
“While we take care of your mother, you can catch up on charting, run samples to the lab…”
“I told you, I’m fine!” The dirty blonde protested, exasperated.
“And I appreciate that you’re fine, but I have to appreciate a certain level of distraction for you today. Even in the face of all that fineness. So scut, now.”
As Meredith attempted to leave, she dragged the small girl with her once more, who called out. “Mer? You have to let me go first…”
“Oh, sorry.” She loosened her firm grip and left the room, leaving Amory to rub her arm with her nuse scrunched up in pain. “Ouch.”
“She had a firm grip on you there.” The resident joked. “Amory, go save Stevens, I don’t know how she can survive the Shepherds. Besides, Montgomery-Shepherd seems to like working with you.”
“Sure, Dr. Bailey. But, can you please try to keep an eye on Meredith?” The girl asked, worried.
“I will. You knew?”
“I did… for a while now, I did.” The intern reveals, lowering her eyes to the ground.
“You’re a good friend, you know that, Madden? They’re lucky to have you looking after them. I think they’d be even more lost if it wasn’t for you mothering them.” The resident complimented.
“Thank you, Dr. Bailey.” She smiled and left the locker room.
~~~~~~
As both Izzie and Amory watched the premature baby, the Shepherds talked.
“Where’s the mother?” Derek asked.
“Gone. She stuck around long enough to get the kid strung out and then took off. Nice, huh?” The short intern furrowed her eyes in compassion.
“Addison…”
“Derek, I know it’s a long shot. I know that.” The redhead explained, Amory’s eyes still on the baby.
“You told me, you had a newborn with an invasive mass. You failed to mention she was premature, underweight and addicted to narcotics.” The man argued, handing Amory the chart, which she scanned through. “There’s no way this baby can survive spinal surgery.”
“You don’t know that…”
“And if she does? She’s a mess… meningitis, seizures… she’s gonna live a short and painful life.” Derek evaluated.
“You don’t know that!” The woman repeated more assertively.
“It’s my job to know that.”
“You’re not God, Derek.” Amory’s eyes widened and she shared a look with Izzie.
“Excuse me?”
“I’m sorry, honey, but you’re not, you don’t get to decide…” She was immediately cut off by her husband.
“Did you just call me honey? Don’t call me honey.”
“Fine, you’re not God, Dr. Shepherd. If the patient has any chance at survival, which I think she odes, than you have the responsibility to…”
“Don’t talk to me about responsibility.” He darted back.
“You took and oath, Derek.”
“Oh, and don’t you dare talk to me about oaths.”
“Derek, I messed up. People mess up.”
“You slept with my best friend on my favorite sheets.
“The flannel sheets? You hate the flannel sheets.” The interns’ discomfort grew by the second.
“I love the sheets!”
“Can we just stop talking about the sheets?”
“Fine!”
“I, um, I think we’re just going to go check on the labs.” Amory interrupted, eager to get herself out of the room, the tall blonde intern thanking her with a smile.
~~~~~~
As Izzie and Amory came back into the room, chart in hand, thye found Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd looking at the baby, as they grip her finger.
“She’s got a good grip.” Izzie commented.
“Yeah.”
“I don’t… the labs don’t look good.” Amory handed them to the attending.
“She’s got a resistant strain of pneumococcus.” Addison read the chart.
“The antibiotics aren’t working…” The short girl pointed out.
“You might want to get yourself reassigned, Dr. Madden and Dr. Stevens, I don’t think we’l be operating today.” The attending recommended.
“So do you think Dr. Shepherd was right?” The tall blonde asked.
“She’s too far gone…” The redhead admitted, Amory’s eyes filling with compassion. “She does have a good grip.”
“Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd? If you don’t mind I’d like to follow the case until the end.3 The shorter girl asked, and at the woman’s questioning look, she explained. “I don’t like leaving things half done. Besides, this little one could use someone rooting for her, even if only to keep her company as she goes.”
The attending smiled up at the girl, seeing some of herself in her and recognising her potential. “Sure, Madden. you can stay.”
Sometime later, the baby now gripping the intern’s finger, Addison watched her. “You know, Derek was right.”
“I’m sorry, about what?” The girl questioned.
“You’d be good in pediatrics. I’ve been watching you since I arrived to make sure, and it’s true. You’re on of the people at the top of your class, so you don’t lacj the surgical skills, and you have the personality for it. You’re assertive when you need to be, and you seem to care for every single one, without letting it affect you negatively.” The girl smiled and Addison eyed her curiously. “You managed to care for the patients while being able not to get overly attached. In Peds you need to thread a very think line, trying to stay compassionate while not letting the losses brake them. Most are initially on either side of it, they need a lot of practice to get there. That natural balance you seem to be able to keep would make you perfect for it. Same thing for neonatal, I think you’d have a bright future in either of them.”
The intern felt as though she’d just been looked right through and blushed slightly. “Thank you, Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd. I’m awared if I get overly attached it can cloud my judgement, so I try my best to remind myself that we can’t sace every single one. We just have to try our best to do so. And much as I tend to take some losses personally, I’d like to believe I can bounce back from them.” The girl looked down at the baby in front of her, her heart heavy at the situation. “If there’s anything life has thought me so far, it’s that I’m not easily broken.”
Some more time went by, until the resident turned to the intern again. “You should take a break, Amory. Go get something to eat, stretch your legs. I’ll page you if I need anything.”
“Okay, I’ll be back soon.” As the intern flashed the redhead a smile she left the room.
Walking through the hallways, all she could think about was how much her resolve to specialise in Peds has strengthened. She’d always felt inclined to it, but having now heard from two attendings how well she’ll fit in, she knew that is was the right track for her. Her inters in neonatal was also growing, falling for the speciality quickly. However, her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Bailey’s slightly panicked voice. As she saw Cristina being rolled out of the OR on a bed, she ran up to them.
“Cristina? What happened?” She let out, worry in her voice.
“Her pulse is racing, I need her on a monitor to get a BP.” Bailey spoke up. “I want her started on a liter of LR. Izzie, run ahead to emergency, let them know we’re on the way.”
“Dr. Bailey!” Amory called out and joined the resident, whispering to her. “She’s pregnant. Cristina’s seven weeks pregnant.”
As Izzie and Bailey enetered the elevator, Bailey changed her game plan. “Okay, no, we’re going to pre-op instead. Amory, find Addison Shepherd and be discreet.”
As the girl ran through the halls, she found Addison walking down the stairs with the Chief and George.
“Dr. Shepherd, I’m sorry, we need you. It’s Cristina, Cristina Yang, she’s collapsed.”
“Cristina’s collapsed?” George asked, worried.
“Why do you need me.” Addison responded, clearly puzzled. At the girl’s expression, she understood. “Oh.”
“Cristina’s pregnant?” The male intern exclaimed, loudly.
“George! Keep it quiet, okay?” She quickly left, running to accompany the attending’s fast pace, as her short legs wouldn’t allow her to walk any faster.
~~~~~~
As they take Crisitna to the OR, Bailey spoke up. “Okay, Amory, you can leave now.”
“Dr. Bailey, can I stay please? Just to keep her company?” As she saw the resident’s mouth open to protest, she went on. “Look, I know she’s unconscious, but I just need to be there for her, okay? I can’t leave her alone… I won’t leave her along. She needs someone to look after her and you said it yourself earlier, I look after all of them. So, please, just let me do it now.” The girl pleaded, her puppy dog eyes coming to play.
“Let her stay, Miranda, it won’t interfere.” Addison backed her up, being fond of the girl.
“Okay, fine, you can stay.” The resident gave up.
Later into the surgery, Amory still by her friend’s side, Izzie speaks up. “She’s gonna be okay, right?”
“How attached was she to this pregnancy?” The attending questioned.
“I don’t know, she’s a pretty private person.” The tall blonde answer, not being particularly close to the woman on the operating table.
“She wasn’t. Attached I mean. She was planning on terminating the pregnancy.” The short blonde informed, her eyes never leaving her friend’s face.
“Okay… she’s lost a lot of blood, but I’ll save her. Dr. Bailey, you must have a surgery or two of your own today?”
Bailey who held the girl’s head answered. “I’m fine right here.”
“Looks like I’m not the only one who mothers them.” Amory smiled up at her resident, appreciating her worry.
~~~~~~
Neither Bailey nor Amory left Cristina’s side through her recovery. The intern held her the entire tome, stroking her heir lightly ever so often. The resident looked over them like a hawk, refusing to let any bad in the world happen to the girl.
Once Crisitna woke up, she looked to her friend, the feeling of her fingertips running through her hair calming her. “Hi there.” She whispered. “You’re back.”
“What happened?” The girl asked, her voice.
“You had en extra uterine pregnancy.” The resident explained and Cristina’s eyes lifted of her friend’s face for the first time. “Your left falopian tube burst. Dr. Shepherd… she did everything she could but there was too much damage. She couldn’t save the tube.”
The injured intern snuggled against her friend slightly, finding comfort in her hold. “Amy?”
“yeah, I’m right here. What do you need?” The girl whispered.
“Can you… hold me? Just until I fall asleep.” She asked, her voice broken.
“Of course.” The girl’s fingers stille ran through her locks. “I’m right here, not going anywhere. I’ve got you. You can relax, I got you.” She whispered in her friend’s ear as she drifted off. Bailey watched both girls like a proud mother, appreciating Amory’s help with taking care of the group.
~~~~~~
As Amory approached the group, after Cristina had fallen asleep, she found Izzie doing the same.
“Hey, did you get your mom’s biopsy results back?” The blonde questioned Meredith.
“Not yet.” George beated Meredith to inform Amory as she sat next to him and they shared a quick kiss.
“Wait, what did I miss?” Izzie questioned, clearly a bit shocked at the scene.
“We’ve been seeing each other for a couple of weeks now.” Amory explained as George smiled at her and gripped her waist.
“How’s Cristina?” Meredith asked her.
“She’s going to be in a lot of pain for a few days, but she’ll be okay.” The short blonde explained.
“I’m glad you were ther, Izzie. Amy arrived later so it could have been much worse.” Meredith explained.
“Are you?” The former model questioned.
“It’s just… it’s just that a lot of the time it feels like you, Cristina and Amy are kind of over ther and I’m… here.” The girl said, a certain sadness in her eyes.
At that, Amory gave her a playful nudge. “You’re welcome to join us ‘over there’ sometimes, if you’d like.”
“So, about Alex.” Meredith went on.
“I know, you guys hate him, fine…”
George groaned at that and Amory spoke up, almost offended. “I don’t hate him! i mean, he’s not my favorite person in the whole world, but if he wants to start being nice then I’m here for it.”
“Well, you don’t hate anyone, Amy.” The boy argued and the short blonde shrugged.
“We do, but I jus wanna say that I believe you.” Mereditf intervented. “He’s different once you get to know him.”
After that, the lab technician approached them, handing Meredith her mom’s labs. “Here you go. Ellis Grey.”
The girl read it and handed it to George. “Let her know.”
As he walked away, Izzie asked worried. “Meredith are you okay?”
“She’s not…” The small girl whispered, more to herself.
“No, I’m not okay.” The dirty blonde agreed.
The woman’s mass was benign.
~~~~~~
As Amory walked past Ellis’ room, she saw George laying on the bed with her. The woman snuzzled against him as she slept. Her eyes widened in shock and her boyfriend got up from the bed, seeing her through the window.
“Should I be jealous?” The short girl giggled as she pressed a kiss against his mouth.
“She thinks I’m her husband…” They began walking through the hallway, hans intertwined.
“My boyfriend looks like my friend’s dad… slightly disturbing.” Both laughed at the fact. “I’m guessing Thatcher Grey must be a handsome man then.” She rose to her tiptoes and ruffled the boy’s hair.
“Boyfriend?” George questioned as he sat down on a hospital bed that lined the hallway.
Amory slightly stiffened as she sat down next to him. She wasn’t even thinking about that when she aid it. “Yeah?” She said but it came out as more of a question. “I mean, if you want to be, you can be. I don’t want to rush you or anything.”
George just chuckled. they really were similar. They both rambled and stuttered when they were flustered. “Yeah,I like being called your boyfriend.”
“How are you holding up, Amy?” George asked after a moment of silence.
“I… don’t know, really.” They say together on a nearby hospital bed, the man holding his girlfriend by the waist. “It was a hadr day. I mean, Cristina’s fine but…” Her voice began to crack. “But she might not have been. You know I love taking care of all of you. I can’t imagine it any other way, but it gets exhausting, making sure everyone is okay.” The girl let a tear fall, George wiping it with his thumb. “It was a terrible day for both Meredith and Cristina, and I’m their person and they are mine, but sometimes I feel like I have to hold everything together for everyone…” The girl’s head flopped against the boy’s shoulder, as she let another tear fall. Amory composed herself adn finished off after a few seconds. “I love taking care of them, I do. Who else would if it wasn’t me, but it can get so overwhelming sometimes. Thank you for being the one who takes care of me, George. If it wasn’t for you I think I would forget myself most of the times.” The girl almost whispered.
At that, George pressed a kiss to her forehead, his arm around her shoulders as her face was pressed against his chest. “No need to thank me, Amy. I’ll always take care of you, no matter what happens.”
didja see the first All Stars ep yet?
yes!! i really liked it, fiore and yul’s exchange was hilarious and i literally screamed when alec and grett came on screen, i missed them so much. aiden and james are so fun and bounce off each other so well. also, i need gabellie + tess friendship in this season. better yet, tellabby polyam relationship 😌 also... tomjake... please do not get back together. if you haven’t communicated these past two years at ALL and neither of you (OR MIRIAM???) tried to reach out... at this point just call your whole relationship off. you are not meant to be, romantically or otherwise. just boot jake or tom first, i am tired of dealing with them
i’m rooting for the blue team the hardest. ngl they could all make it to merge and i stand by that. i’m looking forward to seeing their interactions. the other teams contain characters i don’t really care about and some i really love (alec, grett and fiore <333 ...yul, ashley, connor, riya <<<) so i have mixed feelings on them. also yul now also being homophobic beside racist is not the funny haha joke i think they were aiming for, or i guess i’m not the target audience for it
i’m also happy to see the improvement in some of the sound quality and acting. aiden, tom, alec, fiore all still sound great in both of those. james got a new mic but i still feel like he doesn’t express the right emotion in some scenes, i’m hoping that will change. ally got a new actress! i really like her! but i swear to god that as soon as ally and hunter start fighting and not communicating they will be shoved to the very bottom of my list. those two are already annoying me, and more than tomjake, if that was even possible
i like ellie more already this season. her outfit encaptulates her personality better, she is more confident, she’s attending uni woohoo! also she is the nastiest bitch ever and i LOVE HER for it. yeah girl drag alec and ashley through the dirt, how they are so annoying is beyond me too! (i love alec but i agree so much with ellie WHY DID BRO DROP THAT ON FIORE LMFAO)
anyways again, blue team are my saviours, maybe except tom but i feel like he is less in the wrong than jake. he deserves to take a break from dating. and jake should’ve gotten a therapist with miriam’s money cause girl 💀 you are 26 you better act like it
i really wanted nick, kai or rosa maria back :< i feel like ashley wasn’t as fun as nick could’ve been, and like, seriously who the hell wants connor here, just bring back someone more relevant. i’m sure everyone will get a chance in the spotlight tho, i trust ONC know what they’re doing, i just like some characters better than others
DEREK AND TREVOR I MISSED YOUUUUUUU <333 nina go back to whatever demon spawn you crawled out of. she was my least favorite running gag of s2 and i am so tired of her already she is literally not even funny 😞 KRISTAL AND OLIVER GETTING ALONG THAT’S RIGHT also EMILY!! kind of a queen idk guys.. i like her
i am so excited to see these people in action i am bouncing off the walls
Case files 07.01
what I think happened in:
Case 07.01, the case of "Hilltop Hell 2.0" or "Charity Chill Shop of Horrors"
Things that are as clear as they can be: In A.D. 2012 Dianne Margolis started working as volunteer at Hilltop Centre branch of the Oxford People’s Trust (charity shop, I assume?). After the Centre's manager, Mr. Derek Chambers, died in 2015, one Mr. C. Clayton appointed Dianne a new manager and promptly left her to her own devices.
Left on her own, Dianne tried to find new volunteers to work in the Centre, and had bad luck of finding one. A young man of uncertain name, unknown origin and underwhelming qualifications showed up, claiming to know the Hilltop Centre better than anyone. For lack of better option, Dianne hired him. (Is it 'hiring', if it's volunteering? I don't know how this works).
At this point (mid November 2015) Dianne received what would be her last message from her direct supervisor, Mr. Clayton, before he apparently departed for a fully paid “personal development sabbatical” in the Seychelles.* The message read: "Chill, it's all good". :)
Volunteer Nr 1 brought to the table: positive attitude, good work ethics, complete lack of skills and a disturbing looking flower pot as a donation for the shop – you know, for a good cause! :)
He also brought a friend, Volunteer Nr 2.
Volunteer Nr 2 brought to the table: everything Nr 1 did, with a bearskin rug instead of a pot, and two (2!) new Volunteers.
Nr 3 and Nr 4 brought enthusiasm, cheer, and some unusual 'donations' of their own. And did I mention four (4!) new Volunteers? With four new uncanny object to donate, all for a good cause? Well, now I did.
This was getting out of hand! Now there were 8 of them!
And they would not heed any instruction Dianne issued, such as:
remove your creepy 'gifts' from the shop,
do NOT accept any additional questionable donations from unknown sources,
stop laughing at all hours,
stop repeating “It's all for a good cause!” like a mantra,
do not open the shop on your own, how did you even get the keys?
and for the love of god please stop multiplying!
The last one in particular was rejected with prejudice. While earlier influx of Volunteers was spaced out a bit, now it seemed that they started doubling in number every hour/minute/second, and very quickly poor Dianne found herself effectively buried under pressure of unnumbered Volunteers and Foreboding Items. Just when our unfortunate protagonist started choking on spilled pennies and all hope seemed lost, the gunshots started.
Hurray, the cavalry arrived!
Volunteers continued to laugh and assure the world of their good intentions while getting shot and set on fire, but they shifted just enough for Dianne to make her escape.
After escaping the building she was held at gunpoint by one of the assailants, whilst she proved her humanity by having a well deserved nervous breakdown.
Then the gun-wielding heavyset Man in Black carried her away from the blazing building, tossed casually over his shoulder. She'd been kept and interrogated briefed for the next two months.
After being released she sent her resignation note, in which she wished all the worst on Mr. C. Clayton, and curtly cut all contact with Oxford People’s Trust.
All interested parties were instructed to treat the fire at the Hilltop Centre as a simple accident and not to mention involvement of [redacted]** security force.
Some less clear points of interest:
* I do not, for one second, believe that Mr. C.Clayton is spending some personal time in the Seychelles, sending very unprofessional letters to his employees. I do believe he's currently unable to access his email and phone, on account of being quite dead. It's too convenient that he just randomly buggered off right when a newly-appointed, not-quite-qualified-for-the-job head of department is about to be besieged by the spookies(TM) (as TMA listener, I'm getting some minor flashbacks here). If one were inclined to be optimistic, one could argue that Mr. Clayton might have been paid off, with instruction to make himself scarce for half a year, but why go to the trouble when you can just disappear him and use his email to send some chill messages to his co-workers? (impostor message count in the podcast so far: 3).
** I'm quite certain that the mysterious Men In Black that may not be named are Starkwall security service, of the “The San Pedro Square Massacre” fame. Which makes me think that said 'massacre' also involved an event similar to this one, just with more witnesses who didn't understand what they were looking at. I think it was mentioned in ARG that they used to work with OIAR, but that stopped around the time Magnus Institute burned down. I'm gonna to tentatively connect the dots and say that Starkwall is dedicated to containing large-scale supernatural outbreaks and has very strict burn-it-to-the ground policy. (Spooky outbreak at Magnus Institute seems like a safe bet). I think OIAR used to supply them with data about potential paranormal events, but is not doing it any more, or is not doing it officially. I'm gonna wait for more data before speculating further on this.
So let's address the elephants in the showroom. Who were the volunteers? They were not human, even if they did passable job of imitating them. They had no names that could be remembered, or paper-trail that could be found, they had access to excessive number of cursed objects (cursed in figurative and probably literal sense), they loved to laugh a lot and had some curious relationship with math. (something something, twice the number of volunteers at half the intervals, something something geometric progression something something.) I know what TMA wants me to think, but this is OIAR, damn it. I'm gonna play with concept of changelings, malicious spirits and magic constructs until definitively proven wrong. No solid theory for now, just… rotating the pieces in my brain, hoping they'll click.
What was the point of this event? We have a great number of (presumably) magical creatures gaining access to a place they claim to be very familiar with (which place might or might not be significant for reasons). We have them filling it to the brim with (presumably) magical items. We have them acting very enthusiastic and happy, like they were celebrating something. What was it all for? I'm gonna posit that the end goal was to cram so much 'magic' in one place that it would reach critical mass and set of… some kind of reaction. Maybe to create something. Or maybe to let something through. Maybe warp reality in some way. Maybe tear a hole in the fabric of it. Or widen a pre-existing hole. Either way it would almost certainly be Not Good for the world and we should be glad that MiB was on the scene to prevent it. Almost certainly. (:
Thoughts on Teen Wolf the Movie while watching it (SPOILERS) pt.1
Before I even start let me say that they should've just made it another 12 or 10 or hell even an 8 episode mini series
Should've opened with Isaac instead of Liam and Hikari in Japan smh. He was the last one to have the triskele box, how tf did Liam get it? (I do understand that Daniel Sharman couldn't be in the film but still...at least give me an explanation)
I don't care what they say, Hikari was supposed to be Kira and Hikari wasn't supposed to even exist. Liam and Hikari are clearly what Scott & Kira Should've been, minus the restaurant in Japan, if they'd done the right thing and brought Kira back in the last season. He said he'd wait for her😭. (Though I Stan the actress for not coming back when they were going to pay her white female castmates more than her. Honestly fuck them for that)
Why does Liam own a restaurant in Japan. How did we get here in our lives. Liam u supposed to be protecting Beacon Hills. Also idk what career I though Liam would get but it definitely wouldn't have been restaurant owner. I can see him as a coach maybe (at Devonford Prep in honor of Brett; huh maybe I did know what career I thought he'd have🤔)
Damn y'all really keeping Nogi with teas and spices. Ig hiding it in plain sight works idk 🤷♀️
Why Liam fall like that 😭
Damn Nogi really reminding me of the Witch from Narnia when she appeared in that ice wall thing in the second movie
also if Nogi can talk through that thing, why hasn't he manipulate someone into setting him free already
Though that Nogi was like a regular fly, not a firefly...
Scott being call "The Alpha" like they'll never know🤫 also like I thought Monroe went international w/ her hunting. Ain't no way Scott's just chillin all carefree enough to put his name on a business.
Yeah Scott save that doggie...oh and the little grl too. Also this would've been better plot wise if this was a flashback of Scott saving a little Hikari, it would explain how she's randomly apart of the pack now
Love how Scott's animal clinic looks like a mixture of Deaton's vet place and Derek's loft
Scott talking about having kids one day was how I knew they'd give him Eli at the end. Like wtf, he should be raised by his family, by other born wolves who know about the werewolf history that Derek did. Like hello we got great uncle Peter, auntie Cora, and hell even cousin Malia. Derek WOULD NOT want his SON raised by an ARGENT!
"I didn't see it. I took my eyes off the road for like two seconds to change the song on my ipod"
Wooo spooky 👻
I said ah oop jump scare Chris "I never use the front door" Argent
Poor Chris no parent ever deserves their child to die before them
Bardo! and who stayed up all night doing research about Bardo for you, huh, Mr. McTruealphaman. KIRA!
Yes papa Argent, say fuck
Well Jeff Davis said he wanted the timeline to work out so that Eli was born before Derek returned to Beacon Hills in an interview (idk where it is and I'm too lazy to find it) and after the series finale timeskip in the last season it was 2017, its now 2026 so technically it's been 11 years Scott my boy
Look at me out here fixing the timeline for everyone😁
"I got a feeling the real answers are in Beacon Hills" Yeah no shit Chris, everything's gotta do with Beacon Hills
Scott your the alpha. Be the alpha. Quit asking other people to to decisions for you, for the love of God
So Scott I understand why you left Beacon Hills but are we going to address what happend to Monroe and the internatipnal hunters Corp? No?...okay then
Chris why did you leave mama McCall. Jeff u really out here breaking everyone up. Should've got w/ Papa Stilinski so Scott and Stiles could be brothers fr "oh what could've been"
Why the pack break up? not gonna give me an explanation again...okay I'm sensing a pattern here
Yeassss!!! Business woman Lydia, we knew u could do it. And she looks very snazzy in that white outfit with her ponytail if I do say so myself. Funny how the banshee's business has to do with sound lmao it's perfect.
Lyd!😭 Thats Mrs. Martin-Stilinski to you! Shit at least call her Lyds so that you don't sound like your calling her a lid💀
Damn u think Lydia would've learned to look at stuff by now before handing it out. Nah but on a real note I feel like she should have a better understanding of her abilities by now, and have expanded on them, and had more control of them but that might be just me
I SAID ITS MRS. MARTIN-STILINSKI Ray or whatever ur name is!
Oooo the automatic writing again
Yayyy Eli Hale! In my head Eli is a nickname for Elijah, just like Derek is a nickname Frederick (if you known you know)
Hale Auto?! Ain't no way. Derek ain't a mechanic. I refuse. Terrible career choice for the man. He's rich, he ain't even gotta work
Maybe Malia could be a mechanic but I doubt it, ooo a Park Ranger would be perfect.
Love how Eli just hotwired that jeep😂. Oh and just let me say this here and get it out of my system. Eli is similar to both Stiles and Scott when they were younger but he is NOT STILES. Yes he's sarcastic and a little delinquent but do you guys know how many teenagers are sarcastic little delinquents? Alot. It's a teen thing. I was the same way (minus the crimes😂) and still am sarcastic af. Love Eli as Eli, not a mini or replacement for Stiles. Love u guys to death but we went into this knowing there was no Stiles.
Jeff Davis: No Stiles.
Us: No Stiles?
Jeff Davis: No Stiles!
Boys gonna pop a damn wheelie in fucking Roscoe
Love how Parrish just calls Mason instead of tailing him
I'm fucking dead💀they was all too scared to tell Derek (me too thou bc sourwolf is scary😶)
Why is Mason a deputy? Feel like he should be working at Lydia's, like he's right under her is what I'd say he should be doing. I could see Corey, his husband, maybe being a deputy though. *gasp* or a cute little school teacher🥺
I stand by what I said earlier, Malia should be a park ranger and I add to that by saying that she should be the consultant and not Derek (though i understand they had to reintroduce his character) she spent a lot of time in those woods, and she's more intune with her animal side than anyone else
Derek still sexy af
serial arsonist...wolf pack also has a serial arsonist. I swear to God they should've just made it a spin off instead of its own thing
You definitely should call Stiles, he's head of his own supernatural devison in the FBI👍
Love how Derek was like a fugitive for most of the series and now he works w/ the police. Eli taking up that criminal mantel now😂
I mean...is it really grand theft auto if he took it from his own dads shop🤷♀️🤣
Derek's got ptsd from the jeep
Eli wanted to race that grl, I now headcanon that's how he flirts. Just like his daddy he's like haha look I'm better than you at something "you wanna see some real speed bitch" (flashbacks to when Derek flirted with Paige by being an ass with that basketball, like grl just wanted to play her cello in peace and quite)
Love how Derek just like slashed the tires. Really said "i don't think so. My names Derek hale. I go way back" (I'm so sorry to anyone reading this)
another long obnoxious stream of my thoughts while watching greys anatomy for the first time (season 13 bc nobody has stopped me!!)
-oh my god meredith please just tell her you slept with riggs
-yeah DUH amelia you should have gotten to know each other better before you got married
-can i just say that i will never ever base my preconceptions of a show off tiktok again lol. before i watched this show i fully expected to hate maggie and april. i’m nervous bc i’ve also seen people who haven’t watched pp say they hated amelia but so far i don’t see why.
-i’m confused?? amelia has definitely mentioned her anencephalic baby to owen before. maybe she hasn’t laid out the whole story but she definitely mentioned him some time after derek died.
-oooh murphy is back
-bailey is not stupid so why is she acting stupid??? of course this prison has scarce medical resources and the doctors are overworked. what planet do you live on?
-trying to cut dr eliza some slack bc she’s just doing her job, but she could probably do it a way that’s less irritating
-imo alex deserves to be punished. way too many main characters get off too easy when they make fucked up choices. but i selfishly don’t want him to go to prison lol
-bailey is starting to seriously piss me off. i’m not saying all the attendings are in the right for the way they’re acting but what did she think would happen if she brought in some abrasive stranger to take a sledgehammer to their program and undermine the authority of a bunch of tight knit surgeons who are often times like a group of talented toddlers with scalpels
-they should have done a chemistry read with jessica capshaw before they cast minnick lmao. the flirting is so bad and the “sexual tension” thing they’re trying to is almost laughable.
-why on earth WOULDN’T you want an actual peds surgeon to supervise a child’s surgery? whatever phase two of your teaching program whatever…. but what the fuck?
-also “this isn’t about me it’s about edwards” rubs me the wrong way bc actually it’s about the fucking patient
-i think they’ve introduced new exterior shots this season. i like ‘em
-owen pisses me off bc he’s actually a really good friend, but an appallingly bad partner
-maggie could stand to chill out a little bit, even if she doesn’t know about the cancer.
-“a place she loved… by the water” RICHARD
-maggie’s mom is so real “orgasms. they are not a gift. it’s your right” “i wanna die with my eyelashes on”
-the synchronized lasagna eating is what finally made me cry. RIP diane
-“her heart beat for derek shepherd. it never occurred to me that she would be with anyone else” jesus fucking christ why don’t you chill out a little bit arizona
-i like this plane episode a lot. i know it’s not *technically* a bottle episode but it feels like one. what are the odds somebody can be in TWO emergency plane situations in the same handful of years
-meredith definitely fucked up and she should’ve told maggie about riggs WAY sooner but (and i feel mean saying this) maggie is being a little dramatic about a guy she didn’t actually date. it’s the principle though, so i get it.
-jo’s secret abusive husband is will shuester?????
-these fake outs with alex and paul are giving me heart palpitations.
-of course amelia speaks german. that’s so hot
-maybe i’m stupid but i think that if there’s a fire, all the doors to outside should automatically be unlocked
-minnick sucks ridiculously hard
#i think i’m nearing the point where it’s not worth watching anymore#i only have like two more seasons left in me unless something really really interesting happens#or my bestie addison makes an appearance#none of the relationships interest me anymore!#and a lot of the characters are pissing me off!!#but they’re all hot and a little bonkers so i still like them#greys anatomy#these are all tagged under#greys reactions#meredith grey#jo wilson#maggie pierce#amelia shepherd#alex karev
