I’m coining #female anguish

Bc it is a deep rooted anguish that weighs ur soul down daily. A man looks at u, what does he want? Is he judging? Worse?

U carry burdens and secrets to the grave bc women are expected to be strong even when they are shattered completely

So we carry the burden of anguish of knowing the world isn’t for us despite our intelligence or power. We can prove ourselves over and over and still it won’t mean a damn thing.

I’m the eldest daughter and I raised my siblings and took care of my father’s household. Imagine if I could’ve been a child when I was meant to be, maybe I’d be better adjusted.

Stop forcing girls to grow up before they’re ready. Maybe then the future girls won’t carry so much anguish over what’s been stolen and can never be returned.

I can’t get out of bed today. I pushed myself too hard yesterday and now my joints are on fire, searing pain.

I don't know who needs to hear this but:

-"it only hurts a little" is still pain

-"I can ignore it" is still pain

-"I can cope with/manage it" is still pain

-"it's bearable" is still pain

-"I can push through it" is still pain

-"it doesn't hurt that much" is still pain

-"it doesn't stop me from doing x" is still pain

You don't need to be in agonizing pain to be in pain.

I collect all the house spiders I find and note where they live and I make sure we don’t accidentally hurt them. They do pay rent after all. It’s a barter agreement. They kill bugs, we don’t kill or evict them. They are my pets. My friends. Sometimes this one spider who’s a rlly cool neighbour (this is an outside spider ofc) living on my back porch w a much tinier spider who gets the rejects of the larger spider. Their webs are parallel with the larger spider having her web above the smaller one. When a small bug that isn’t worth Big Mamas time, she severs the connection between worthless reject bug and her web allowing reject bug to land in the web that is just below hers where a much smaller spider, to whom a gnat would be a feast, waits for the reject to land so she may then eat her tiny feast. They’re truly marvellous neighbours and they’re roommates. Sometimes I sit out on the porch and talk to them. They’re fabulous hosts, I’d visit them again for a chat.

spiders have got to figure out contracting I need to be able to call my local spiders union and be like "hey can you send a guy out for a few days the fruit flies are back" and then pay it in spider currency. I'll learn the conversion rates. I'll be generous with my rounding. please.
