Do you think Lord Diavolo's animal motif (assuming he has one) could be a moth? He has two sets of wings like a moth does and kind of has that big fluffy area that some moths have around his shoulders. A quick Google search also tells me that moths are symbolic of change and transformation which I guess could have to do with his dream of improving the relationship between the three realms

I just happened to think of this while looking at him in lessons 13 and 14 of Nightbringer so I could be wrong, but it's still interesting to think about

Have you seen the anime? I want more 7seeds but i'm scared it's gonna suck so so bad 😞

I have not watched (most of) the anime and I also fear it. I found 7seeds through a video by Colleen's Manga Recs that talks about how the anime fucks up immediately (butchering my girl Natsu's characterization. not giving semimaru an accent in the dub. showing team summer a waking up without the context of hail of corn. all in the first episode.). I watched the first episode and she was not lying, they really did fuck up. Watch it if you want to (I probably will eventually, just to form a full opinion on it) but be warned.

You can watch the video I mentioned here. I also recommend reading the 7seeds gaiden if you haven't already. It's some post-canon stories, about 4 chapters if I'm not mistaken. Beyond that there's not much content out there, but I'm always willing to chat about it, as are many other fans, I'm sure.

So I watched De Palma's Femme Fatale (2002) tonight, and there's this one scene. In short, the MC (blonde woman called Laure Ash/Lily Watts) gets thrown off a bridge into a river while unconscious, and this shot occurs;

Like, does that or does that not look like the TPWBYT cover?? The hands are in the same position, the bubbles hide the face, and the legs in an earlier shot, and the MC is drowning. That place will become her tomb, in story context, if she doesn't swim up. Of course, the colour grading is very different, but my point still stands!

Just finished The Familiar and it was very fun! Definitely captured my imagination and I adore Leigh Bardugo’s historical and modern fantasies. She does such a great job of evoking those themes of injustice and the grey morality of being locked in systems and corrupt power structures. I’ll probably talk more on this later but if you’re a fan of her work (especially the Alex Stern series) I’d give it a read.

i was thinking of trying to get some kind of tripod/camera setup, because it would be cool to stream myself sculpting- but i don't know how hard it would be to adapt to having to work with a camera in my way. i'm always moving the sculpture around and lifting it up to my face to see better, my hands would almost definitely be in the way more often than not, and i also don't have a lot of space on my desk to even put a tripod; i knock shit over all the time as it is. i'd probably need better lighting, too- i already get frustrated by my head getting in the way of the ceiling light, lol

but man, it could be so fun if i could get it to work
