if we're talking about her youth? then yes, she absolutely did get away with lying to the cops and it's all thanks to her visage. louise took advantage of her innocent looks and used it as leverage to earn a slap on the wrist for a speeding ticket and shoptfting with her old friends in highschool. anyone who wasn't deemed "pretty enough" would immediately be called out for their scandalous behaviour. but in her case? it never seemed to stick even if she got caught in the process. unfortunately, many people back then wouldn't automatically think she was capable of such cruelty at her age, and if they did? they would dismiss it for a temporary bad phaseβ€”a classic example of pretty privilege.
louise was pretty smart. she played up the "dumb blonde" and drew inspiration from the 60s actresses such as mamie van doren, jayne mansfield and marylin monroe. a sad pout here and doe eyes there, maybe adding crocodile tears into the mix and it was enough to make some cops write her off as the stereotypical bimbo who had been heavily influenced by her terrible friends to commit a petty crime just to fit in. you can say louise was one of those teenagers that resorted to violence almost immediately if she found the perfect excuse to let her anger out on whoever provoked her and acted as if she was sorry about it later on.
sadism was the primary drive for her malicious actions, usually accompanied by morbid curiosity. with time she learnt to cry on command and gaslight whenever she got into trouble with not only the authorities but her parents as well, except her father saw through her bullshit and actually did something about it much to her displeasure.
