I kinda want to start a series of posts where I just, talk about ancient Egyptian focused media. Nothing where I go into historical detail, just me screaming into the void about the religious/deity side of things :/

#i was thinking about egyxos earlier and i just find the golden army and villains interesting #like the characters are either named after the gods but are also just straight up named as the gods #the story kinda gives a wavey handed explanation over their names #theres characters like osiride but then legit like horus and seth #also thoth sekhmet and anubis are villians because sure why not???#in a surprise twist set is not a villain!#dont even get me started on the Egyptian god cards from ygo #tony's online journal entry
