Just Another Day
*It was just an average day on the island of Mistral, home of the Faunus. A cool, crisp air blowing through the palms, for it was spring. Particularly, it was an average day at the house of the Belladonas. Kali was sorting and putting away the many books that were read to her grandchildren, most specifically the children of her daughter and son-in-law, Blake Belladonna and Sun Wukong, whom were sitting on the couch. Blake reading a book with her arms resting on the medium sized baby bump of her belly with expecting twins inside, and Sun was preforming funny pose after pose on the couch, taking a picture with his scroll, and likely sending pictures to his many friends. Meanwhile, Ghira Belladonna was sitting across from the well-regarded Heroes of Remnant, sorting through papers of reports from people who have had very strange encounters from the reemergence of the Grimm*
Ghria: These seem so outrageous. I mean, get a load of this, "Massive turtle/dragon Grimm spotted in the deserts of Vacuo", "Large owl Grimm spotted in the forests of Atlas AND Vale", oh this one's rich, "Gargantuan shark Grimm spotted of the coast Mistral." Well we're not going swimming for a while...but how is any of this possible, I thought you and your team killed Salem?
Sun: We don't know ourselves, sir. Hell, even Oz can't make heads or tails of it!
Blake: I don't think it's anything to worry about too much, dad. Besides, Team RWBY have the power of the Maidens now. Grimm are just pushovers at this point. *She chuckled, manifesting a small flame in her hand, then blowing it out.*
Ghira, scoffing: Those Maiden powers are a curse if you ask me. You remember when Kuro almost burnt the house down trying to make breakfast for us, WITHOUT using the stove might I add?
Kali, laughing: You still aren't going to let that go, are you?
Ghira: Nope. *He said chuckling to himself* I'll even remind him on his wedding day.
Blake, perking up: Oh, right! Sun could you go wake up Kuro and Shigyo from their naps?
Sun: No problem, babe! *He winked at his wife, bounding off the couch and, literally, flying to their sons' bedrooms. Ghira calling after him.* Sun no flying in the hou-a-a-ugh...
Ghira: Why do you insist on letting him use HIS powers?
Blake, shrugging: Can't stop Sun when he's on a roll. *She joked about Sun's abilities. He had received his gifts after almost dying at the hands of Adam, only for the God of Light to grant the monkey Faunus powers that rivaled even the Maidens.*
-The kids room-
*Sun slowly opened his sons' door to their bedroom, tiptoeing inside*
Sun, whispering: Rise and shine, guys. Time to go pla-*What Sun saw before him almost sent him in a frenzy. Of joy, so to speak*
-Downstairs almost 5 seconds later-
*Everyone was sitting quietly going about their business, until...*
Sun: Oh. My! GODS!!!!!
*The Belladonna's all frantically looked at each other, then to where Sun had shouted. Something had happened to their kids! They all quickly got up and ran up the stairs*
Blake: Sun what's wrong?! Are Kuro and Shigyo oka-
Sun: WAIT! Don't. Move. From. Wher-okay good! *He said whilst backing out of the doorway between words, running back in after seeing they were all at the top. The Belladonnas all looked between themselves quizzically and confused, until Sun cracked the door open a bit more, and out walked...* Okay Kuro, you can do it. Don't be shy.
*From the doorway, walked a small, shaky saber-toothed tiger cub, mewling and emitting a quiet coughing sound, an attempt at a roar, apparently. But was more shocking, was the fact Sun had addressed the cub as his son. But from the light purple fur and golden eyes, Blake couldn't mistake that this cub was actually her son, who had transformed somehow in his sleep. She was utterly speechless, and almost crying tears of joy. The same goes to her parents, Kali already crying and Ghira so taken aback he had to lean against the wall for support. Kuro looked over to his mom and grandparents and began waddling over to them, slowly but excitedly.
Sun: Okay, this next surprise is putting up a fight, so just give me minute! *He said while an odd croak-squeaking sound came from in the bedroom, along with what sounded like scampering claws clacking against the hardwood floor* Shigyo calm down!
*From the doorway came a small infant crocodile, running left, right, and around, occasionally stopping and darting its head back and forth, only to run again or bump into the still waddling Kuro, while emitting a high-pitched squeaking sound, mouth open wide. Around its neck was a piece of red yarn, likely Kuro's, as a makeshift leash to keep it from running too far. The three immediately knew it was Shigyo, who had also transformed in his sleep like his older brother. Shigyo darted about until Sun slowly walked out, stepping back or jumping whenever his youngest son decided to run towards him and almost bite at his leg.*
Sun: Hey. I'm not food! That's what your fish is for! Well, hope you guys enjoyed the surprise!
Blake, carefully picking up her two sons: Yeah, that was something alright.
Ghira, groaning: As if living with two superpowered individuals wasn't enough, their kids have 'em, too.
Kali: Oooohhh, they're so cuuuute! But how did this happen? *She wondered*
Sun: I guess my shape-shifting was inherited to these little guys! Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. *He said, patting both the tiger and crocodile's heads* Heck I'll teach you guys afterwards!
Ghira, sighing: Never a dull moment around here, is there? *He smiled*
Blake: Couldn't have said it any better myself.
