@vulpixisananimal sifstem art jumpscare!! more specifically i got bored and decided to mess around with sif and mal's outfits.

#my art #this is how I think theyd present themselves either in person or in headspace. the slouchers <3 #sifs outfit is simple; the boots i always give them (but with star laces for funsies); loose sweater; simple pants #the pants are Meant to be jeans but isat doesnt Specifically Have Jeans so. theyre just Pants.#the sweater is slightly looser bc sif doesnt seem like a Form Fitting Clothes kinda guy to me but hes Trying to be more open #on particularly good days theyll roll the sleeves up or wear a sleeveless one methinks #even if everyone Knows abt the self-harm scars its hard to Look at them.#i also associate them being more open with them not wearing an eyepatch. esp bc hes the only one of the three to go without it #for mal (or 'ami' as i like to call it) i wanted smth reminiscent of a mourning outfit bc mal du pays means homesickness #and i picked 'ami' as a nickname bc ami means friend :] at least according to my basic translator. i dont speak french <3 #ami's outfit being dark is also reminiscent of the inversion thing its got going on in canon.#ik the veil is starred in the original but i think ami would want the fewest reminders of home. on account of The Issues #(actually if i can come back to sifs laces sif also has issues with reminders of it bc of the memory loss but the shoelaces are His Choice—#—which gives them a form of control over it and they can keep it subtle or undo it if he wants. which makes it easier)#anyway. i put amis hair in an updo and smoothed the hat bc i think ami wants to be Unremarkable. Unknown. so it keeps its silhouette Simple #(it still keeps the pins. theres smth comforting abt them. they shine like stars and theyre not stars and theyre not Home. but theyre You.)#and i kept the long hair i gave loop. dont ask me why its so long when the canon hair is short. maybe their hair kept growing over the loop #OH and i drew ami in a side profile bc Silhouette and also bc i think itd make an effort to keep people away from its blind spot #andddd i think thats about it? plus i actually managed to keep this one within a reasonable timeframe.#if their hair changes lengths/the proportions change between drawings. no they dont 💛 peace and love and body craft #OH AND YOU FINALLY GET TO SEE WHAT I MEAN ABT SIFS BOOTS BC THESE ARE THE BOOTS I GAVE THEM ON MY REGULAR DESIGN ARENT THEY NEAT #i did actually try to give sif a different font but nothing Works for them like the pixel font. i cant explain it.#i think 'ami' would be a nickname that mira gives it. bc. shes Fantasy French. and its a sort of 'youre more than your yearning/loss' thing #me every time i think abt sifstem: yeah they just rotate in my head. nothing major #me every time i talk abt sifstem: oh hey im almost at tag limit again #au Good what can i say

#i !!!! like this design a lot more #kinda worried abt the cloak …. but !!!#what do we think ………..#oh. wait. also #-> tried to combine the v shape and the cloak #figured out how to incorporate the bottom half wing like design #they have tails !!! they like to sometimes pretend it’s like a bird #(loop running around bc swish swish flowy) (bats their eyelash) am i not the prettiest bird youve ever seen #also while the leg straps for knife was cool #i feel they. while it wouldd be easier to maybe access #anyone could take it !!! the way it was !!!!#into the holster and belt you go #OH and and #the little chains and pendants dangling from the belt ?? those are like keychains from all the things that remind them of their journeys #OH and they’re wearing. kind of leggings ??? for better agility #im trying not to overdo everything. so that it’s not so cluttered #but that. also Is this point. as fun as this outfit is most of it is just loop taking clothing items they first see and running off #“okay rogue time. i can do rogue.” tthey are a mess <3 #they’re kinda in that stage of. between siffrin and figuring out who They are now after all of that. clinging slightly while also changing #(they absolutely did steal those little pins from sif btw <3) they thought it would be funny to see how long it took for him to notice. and #then it just stuck.#“why is loop okay with the cloak now?” bc !!! its not a one to one. and also. sif here found loop at possibly the worst spiral ever #it Would have brought equal comfort as it did discomfort if they wore both the hat and cloak then. and (their words) it would be much easier #to tell which siffrin was who !!!!!!!!!!#agh .. okay #lantern’s art corner #isat spoilers #isat

I tried not to run away from my responsibilities and actually try to do a background for once… I still have a long way to go🌸

#black clover #noelle silva #black clover fanart #Initially I wanted it to be pinker #but I was using a cherry blossom speedpaint I found on twt to learn how to make the background so I ended up using the same colours #then I couldn’t change colours with the filters bc the branches were in the same layer as the flowers #nevertheless I think the current colours also look very pretty #I wanted them to match the pink of Noelle’s eyes but they ended up matching her clothes instead #it didn’t turn out as well as the speedpaint though (first time though)#even if I could do cherry blossoms well it’s really hard to make sure your background harmonises with the character(s) at the front😭#it was also hard to figure out how the top of her dress looks like bc we literally have seen her in this form for like just two chapters #drawing Noelle every season helps me learn how to keep a character’s face constant and decide how I want my artstyle to look #still I think her face looked slightly prettier in my previous fanart🤔#slacky’s art

#silm #silmarillion #feanorions #maedhros #maglor #celegorm #caranthir #curufin #mae's design changed a good amount #his color palette shifted more towards greys and dark orange though sometimes i still put him in purple #maglor is pretty much the same #just switched some colors and restyled his hair a bit #celegorm is also the same #caranthirs design clothes wise changed a lot though i might still use this one for formalwear #curufins clothes also ended up more casual #interesting how the detail of maedhros having the fancy embroidery lasted this long #and maglor having a slightly anachronistic waistcoat considering ive been trying to keep armor styles mid 15th century europe #but oh well its a part of him now #the inverted circlet was also an interesting find #i dont think it shows up in any of my recent designs?#celegorms orome tattoos actually are part of the foundation behind my idea of unique valarin face markings

Unfortunately, as much as I love this mod - I mean, it’s beautiful! Just look at it! - it does have a game-crashing bug D: For some reason skeletons can’t get jobs, it crashes the game lol, so as much as I’d love to have Gaster in the Science career, he is a stay-at-home parent! That’s fine, nannies suck in TS2 lol. There’s also only a few clothing options but I’m gonna try some poking around to at least expand upon what’s there already :D

I ended up using the stretchSkeleton cheat - hehe, skeleton - to make Papyrus a bit taller and Sans a bit smaller. It’s only really noticeable in their ankles, and their animations are a bit misaligned, but other than that it’s very cute! :D Sans is also chubby but it’s kinda hard to tell :0

Also, and I did not edit or plan this - they naturally started falling into their relationship dynamics! Gaster and Sans have a much lower Short Term Relationship here than Gaster and Papyrus haha

I guess it's fine #I know there are ways to make specific outfits their own body shape mesh - I wonder if that would be easier or harder for skeletons haha #It's not like I'd be changing the body shape just the way the clothes settle around it #Though I think there is actually a ''physical'' body it's just invisible? hate my sister's shitty good for nothing boyfriend. can you imagine being a 30yo man with two kids who won't even scramble an egg. Not for his kids, not for his girlfriend, not for himself. literally if my sister doesn't leave out pre-made meals when he's watching the kids he will rip up bread or pour them dry cereal or open a granola bar and make himself microwave dinners. like, lowest effort possible. but if i mention this to my sis, she'll be like "no he's definitely cooked for the kids! he scrambled an egg for them once! i watched him do it!" but it's like...so he scrambled one egg in the last five years. just to like, prove he can? at your direct insistence? should we all clap? like seriously. hate this guy. had to really hold back recently because he had someone over and he was interacting with the kids more than usual for appearances, and he had to keep asking me and my sis what the 5yo was signing because he barely bothered to learn his own son's primary form of communication. i was so tempted to say "that one means 'go home' but you wouldn't know that because you don't take them anywhere." so hard to hold that in. If I had to describe this man in two words they would be these: Low Effort. Not quite bare minimum, but JUST enough to convince my sister that it would be too much hassle to get rid of him. he's stupid as fuck, but just smart enough to quickly stop shit like screaming obscenities at the kids for doing normal kid things. and he once stomped on my headphones and broke them in a fit of rage, but gave my sister money to replace them so it was "fine." Like, my sister thinks that he's just struggling with his anger issues, because he had a bad childhood, blah, blah, and oh he would never actually hurt her or the kids. and like, good for you, but i don't trust like that. genuinely hoping he gets struck by lightning and dies instantly.

#my sister and i do all the hard stuff and most of the easy stuff too tbh #cooking and cleaning and sorting out benefits and insurances and getting the kids to school and events #doctor's appointments and medications and dentist appointments and taxes #we get the groceries and care for all the pets and kids and household things #we both have jobs #i actually have 3 jobs #good for nothing boyfriend makes $12 a year plus some under the table cash as a “private trainer”#which means between that and selling his plasma and borrowing money from his mom he can...pay his super cheap tiny part of rent #and occasionally hand my sister like $20 #he doesn't buy groceries or diapers or household supplies or clothing or toys or literally anything #literally the only household chore he does is fold laundry #that's it. and it's not “DO” laundry. it's just folding the clean and dry stuff #you know. the chore my parents would have us do when we were like 10 so we'd feel helpful #the 5yo is medically complex and we frequently make trips to a slightly distant hospital with him #and they literally asked us to stop bringing my sister's boyfriend along because he was disruptive and confusing #which was a polite way to say 'obnoxious and stupid as shit'#do you know how many times in one visit w/the same doctor he would ask 'so when does he get superpowers?'#he also obviously didn't know how to answer basic questions like 'how many times does he poop a day on average'#and 'how often has he been eating and what has he been eating day to day?'#like bro this man can go days without changing a diaper and will not even heat up a can of spaghettios to feed his own kids #he cannot answer those questions with any kind of accuracy #also i'm saying boyfriend because my sister desperately wanted to at least be engaged so she could say fiance in front of ppl #but just like marriage this was apparently a 'waste of effort'#not even the cheapest ring or the most underwhelming proposal or a courthouse wedding was worth his energy so...#yeah glad she hasn't married this waste of air. and i'll be praying for that lightning strike

(the lovecore polycule) and vicuña who doesn’t have a ref sheet yet #lovestruck not lovesick**#and then redraw Lanturn and Trinket’s character ref sheets with some changes I’ve since made #I also wanna redesign my magical girl oc slightly #as well as finally design some of my oldest ocs who I barely talk about but adore Cinnamon and Hazel #agh #much to do

The bust is final, and the shoulders down are in the works. The pink mane is going to be the default look, while the dark brown is just the natural mane color behind the dye. The other colors were just thrown in there for fun!

#lionsona #anthro #fursona #furry #modsona #lions #ebonytailsart #from sal #Wow I miss drawing..#Anyway.. since this is a modsona it’s gonna be one of those things where it takes us more than a year to design ^^;#I changed the beige cheek fluff to be darker instead to really marry the transition into (any) mane color together #And also because in the original the beige were making everything a bit too crowded.we needed to tone it down #I made the colors slightly more saturated and the muzzle into just one brown instead of two to simplify it #Another difference you’ll notice is that the chest fur is ‘shorter’ now and a different color!#This is to imitate human hair more and also because drawing chest fluff while wearing clothes makes things more puffier than we’d want #So in this world they trim their mane often to keep things breathable- also we live in atropical country so it only makes sense

#i genuinely feel like a unique version of myself compared to the me i was a year ago #like the person i was a year feels like a different person #sometimes i don’t recognize myself in the mirror as myself because i dont feel like this body is me #and this feeling of being a new unique and unrecognizable person is such a pervasive feeling that i’ve been feeling 24/7 for weeks #i feel like i act different and think different or like my actions and thoughts don’t belong to me #i genuinely dont know who i am and that’s very unsettling to me #i almost feel like im a different age #like maybe older or younger?? idk like someone who’s more carefree in a way that speaks to experience or #due to a lack of needing to face hardship #which i know is contradictory to my lived experiences #again i feel like i’ve suddenly become someone who has a different lived experience than the one i know i had #is this like dissociation???#because this is a slightly similar but overall forgien experience compared to how i’ve historically dissociated before #i genuinely feel like i even speak differently #like i physically feel like my speech has changed #it almost feels more fluid(?) and my vowels have become whiney(?) when i say them??#im so confused ngl #like on the surface i feel like the same person #but the moment i look more closely at my internal view of myself it falls apart #i still have the same interests (kinda) and i still like the same clothes #but at the same time i’ve suddenly had a desire to have my nails painted which is very new #and i actually painted them and have had the painted for weeks #like i feel like this is out of character for me #i also feel more extroverted??#not by much but still noticeably to me

You know an oddly specific trope in mecha I fucking love? When the pilots aren’t even wearing proper gear but still pilots the robot anyways. Its not to say I don’t like pilot suits, I do, but there is something much more appealing to me seeing a pilot in a casual ass outfit, or being like Roger Smith and wearing a god damn suit, while piloting a giant robot as if it’s their day job or something they do regularly. Which isn’t technically wrong even if these pilots never get paid for it LOL. It just feels more natural and more cooler to me because these pilots are throwing themselves right into it, not giving a single fuck if their clothes aren’t gonna be proper enough gear to protect them if the robot gets torn to shreds, they’re just that confident about it.

#meg text #mecha rambles #this is probably the most obvious post where my Getter Robo Armageddon bias is real lol #but I just love the fact within it the pilots are in a apocalypse so they don’t get suit up their just ready to fight #which also brings me to my second favorite trope of “they change outfits in the finale few episodes”#because MAN the pilot suits had such a bigger impact in the final battle because they didn’t wear them all show #it’s cool seeing the older team in the suits for their own nostalgia but it’s also cool seeing the newer team with actual gear #but also really like how on big os final this also happened expect Roger just took off one layer of his suit and Dorothy had a jumpsuit LMA #Shin jeeg probably has the best approach to “suits or new suits” by just making them look like casual clothing though #even if the final gave them slightly new gear too

devon and eleonoora. my girls. who i am doodling as i wait for a response from someone lol

#i never draw them i’ll fix that soon. i just am stuck on their story and have been for. a few years now idk what direction i want to take it #but they’re cool they’re my girls. who primarily just came abt #because i wanted to draw layered clothing. and i kept reverting to designs similar to these #and i got attached to them and so i tweaked them slightly and de-layered the clothing for practical drawing reasons #and here i am #they were practice drawing organically created characters #and now they have names and a vague story line that i keep changing my mind on #i did the same thing w solfrid and lovise too they’re also organically created practice characters i got attached to #lol. but i don’t care as much abt solfrid and lovise as much as i do enjoy drawing them #i just haven’t worked as much on them….
