It’s been a while since this happened but I still can’t get over it, so fuck it, it’s going on here.

My friend asked me to design a tattoo for her based off hollow knight and moths, because those are like her 2 favorite things, which clearly I did! (It’s a lunar moth on top of the pure nail) (I did a full color piece for her that you can see in 1 of the photos)

She got it done and I still can’t get over it because… that’s like MY art. I did that. I drew that. AND ITS ON HER SKIN! THATS PERMANENT!!! And now whenever I see it my brain kinda just shuts down.

Also it’s still colorless and only lined since she didn’t have enough money to finish it, so she just uses it as a coloring book thing now.

I have admired the work of the amazing @anotherwellkeptsecret for YEARS, following her originally from the height of my Sherlock obsession all the way until now where she has (to my delight!) crossed over into Good Omens as well.

She also just had a baby!!!! So partly as a congratulations, partly as a thank you for being such an artistic inspiration, and partly so I could practice my own digital art techniques and play with Procreate for the first time, I asked if she would allow me the privilege of coloring some of her favorite pages from her comics while she's on maternity leave. And she said yes!

But she asked me to pick my favorites instead. So I took her at her word and chose one favorite page from each of the ten comics I have saved and loved over the years.

Exactly two weeks later (and in no particular order) here is the final result!! I am so grateful to Kelley for letting me do this, and I have discovered so much about my own style and what I like (excessive lights, apparently lol). I hope you guys like them as much as I do, and please please please go support Kelley's tumblr and Patreon, she absolutely deserves the world. 💕

#I am still deeply stuck in the huh? hwah? stage but I think I at least found a presentation I'm happy with #so ig that's the last gog au post from this blog (I still will reblog upcomming art and tagg them adequately so there is no real loss lmao)#now here comes the usual “man idk” speech #species are still more or less randomly picked. Mainly becausen those are the “the eyliner owls” for me...also I like short eared owls #Kanade is a borreal owl because they are noted to have a beautiful song (unless the ger edition made that up (idk this is the idk speech))#for Kanade I thought it would be nice to make her a normal colored owl that turned white due to stress. Reading Hunger Games and tbh sometimes I wonder if people in the Capitol actually Look Like That, or if that’s just how it feels to Katniss

Alyx wasn't alone.

And she likely didn't leave.

Here me out: The first thing we learn about Alyx is she feels loneliness upon returning from the EverAfter. However, up until this point, she's been described as fairly estranged from everyone. No-one mentions her by name, humans are pretty hated by those who know what humans are.

So, why is she lonely?

Because Alyx didn't fall alone. She fell with someone else.

This person is the likely culprit, seeing as in the beginning we see two dashes across the sky.

Considering a good dose of RWBY fairytales feature Ozma in some capacity, people making stories based on their own adventures isn't too far-fetched.

I'm thinking they both entered, but only one was able to leave. Maybe one person had to stay behind, maybe one of them died. Nonetheless, they wrote the story by erasing the second person or merging their interactions into one person.

How likely is it that Alyx had to give up both her happiest and saddest memory? Doesn't it make more sense if only one of them had to give up their happiest, and the other, their saddest?

We've already seen some revision. The Red King died! Likely killed by a human! We don't know for sure that was Alyx – it wasn't in her story. But how much can we trust her narrative, if there's possibly some heavy revisionism going on?

Listen to the Curious Cat. When Ruby says they're humans, they answer: "You're not nearly as interesting as the others I've met." That's otherS. Plural. Could be referring to Neo, Jaune, or maybe there's a whole village! But equally likely Alyx wasn't prancing around alone.

There's even more evidence in the song, Inside. During the instrumental break, I posit we get a conversation between Alyx and the mysterious companion:

"Okay, I'm almost certain that last time WE went to the left." "So, no way, WE should not turn back, WE need to go in that direction."

That only begs the question: why were they erased from the narrative?

anyway I got curry yesterday and it fucked

Some nice notebooks and also a bunch of colorful pens #which was absolutely crazy. You have no clue how bad I love pens of various quality.#I haven't actually used them yet 🐅🐅 she got me another set of pilot 02 G-7 pens though which was CRAZY !!!!#I couldn't justify spending that much on pens rhat I didn't rally need because I had other pens. Life finds a way thohgh #my green one ran out first (<had switched to largely writing in green) then my BLUE one ran out and it was like well fuck me .#Bur also like. I ddint NEED colorful pens. They were just really fucking nice ro have.#but dilemma over ! We have like a whole rainbow and some. Magic of friendship.#ummmmmm what else . finally decided to catch up on the warriors books and read the updated ultimate guide today. it feels like every other entry gave me -5 poison damage

#just like the incredibly wrong pelt and eye colors. the NOTICEABLY reused art #not just as in 'this was cover art and its being used' as in like i am 99% sure there are multiple cats that have the same art #and they just like recolored it in photoshop #or at the VERY LEAST. the art is so similar that none of it feels unique #theres like two portraits that feel new and are pleasing to look at #and i dont get why multicolored cats only have one pelt color listed? why not have all their main fur colors??#that paired with the cover art being used for specific cats and then going 'oh is that who thats supposed to be??'#maybe its just bc i fell out of being super invested in the books but i feel like the first five arcs did #a MUCH better job w the cover art and being able to tell whos who #i stg that was alderheart and sparkpelt on the river of fire cover. its LEAFSTAR?#also why did they have to repeat the same like two sentences for every cat involved in a particular storyline #couldnt they have like. reworded it at least. or give stories about different points in their lives #did i HAVE to read the same exact thing about tigerheart and dovewing when they are grouped NEXT TO EACH OTHER #i know she joined shadowclan after having kits!! you just told me that last page!!#warriors
