edit: might need to add some additional dialogue to this to make it more clear, but a clarification in the interim; he knows about his own footprints. he's just surprised to see something similar already there when he knows he's only just landed. he lifts his own shoe to confirm that they're not identical (and also to reveal this to the viewer). seems his stoicism beat off the clarity in this one, sorry 😭

I’m writing a poolverine fic right now and am very tempted to add a very funny looking cat, so like Wade brought home the funny looking dog and then Logan brings home the funny looking cat, I’m particularly inspired because there is an “ugly” cat on BC spca shelter website that I’m a little obsessed with, I think I can make it fit but I’m a little iffy if it would feel right, what do you think

“I’ll get you a fake ID,” Curt says decidedly, shrugging like it’s no big deal. “The summer’s young; can’t spend it ditching you every time I go out to drink.” “You don’t know how to get a fake ID,” John says, more as a plea than a statement. “Yeah, I do,” he argues, and with the older employees Curt hangs out with when he’s working the bar at the hotel, John’s inclined to believe him. “How?” He tries one last time to trip him up anyway, a weak appeal for mercy, but Curt only grins, reaching a hand out to squish John’s cheeks between his thumb and fingers. “Don’t you know? A lady never tells her secrets, John.” So that’s how John ends up tucked away in a small booth in the corner of some pub that looks lost to the sixties, old signage and other vintage memorabilia lining the wooden walls, cheery neon LED graphics adorning the kegs behind the diner–style bar.

zeddison headcanons because i want them both and i need them back neow

they're both queer (not really a niche headcanon but i'm putting it)

it took zed many months to get over the dog imitation habit

(ignoring the queer headcanon for a sec) addison is the biggest ally to ever ally. like one of those obnoxious allies but it works for her

^full on rainbow cake and celebration when literally anyone comes out, but she'll also be lowkey if requested

they are "me? obsessed with you? yes, yes i am" personified (about each other, ofc)

addison was zed's anchor when it came time to learn how to control his zombie state (similar to kipo and her anchor from kataow)

addison knows enough of the zombie language to have conversations but struggles with pronunciation (i'm slightly projecting with this one i fear)

they're literally always holding hands or linking their arms/pinkies (literally canon)

addison lets zoey dress her up and do her hair, especially after she got her true alien hair

^zed has a whole album of pictures of addison after zoey's makeovers (simply just because he loves them both so much, literally only like 3 were taken for funny reasons)

zed has dyscalculia but thought that it was just a zombie brain issue for the longest time (yes, he's canonically top of his class. yes, i'm giving him dyscalculia. both can be true)

^once he figured out what he had, he had to be practically begged by addison and his friends to ask for accommodations

addison is insanely touch-starved but presents herself like she's not (i definitely feel like dale and missy weren't the most physically affectionate parents, and i assume that angie (her most touchy relative) died when addison was young)

addison is closer to eliza and bonzo than zed is to bree (this is pretty much supported by a handful of scenes in the movies but whatever)

^don't get it confused, zed and bree are still very friendly to each other, as she is addison's best friend and bonzo's girlfriend

addison's baked dessert of choice is muffins, especially fruit muffins

^zed hates the sensation of cooked fruit (we're projecting again) but he eats them anyway to make addison happy

^once addison finds out he doesn't like cooked fruit, she then feels really bad for giving him so many muffins to taste-test and recruits zoey and bonzo instead

zed is greek (at least on his dad's side, due to the "-polis")

zed ends up pursuing a career that does not require more years of school due to his gifted-kid burnout (we all know he has it) being so bad

^addison most likely pursued something in the hospitality industry, became a politician like her mom (but like an actually good one), or became a defense lawyer

^i also feel like addison's the breadwinner of their relationship (not that that matters in the slightest just a thought)

Right, so I've been mulling on this one for a little bit now, n I'm not opposed to writing something for you, I'm just not... entirely sure what to write? Because the thing is, myhouse.wad doesn't actually really have anything to do with Doom as a story. Sure, Doom is important in that it's the vessel through which the story is told and one of the connections between the narrator and his dead companion. But as far as Doom itself goes, and the story about a man who was too angry/stupid to die, fighting demons and saving earth, none of that is at all relevant to myhouse.wad and its story. For all intents and purposes, Doomguy isn't actually a character in myhouse.wad. So I'm not really sure how exactly to fit him in there.

Does Batman actually care about Jason Todd? There has been stuff I’ve read about how Jason was beaten half to death for seemingly killing the penguin and he was taken to where he was buried to revive Dick or something. I forgot.

The honest answer is it depends on whose writing batman some writers really want Bruce to be just the worst father especially to his kids that aren't biologically related to him like Jason and it shows in RHATO - which is that first instance you mention were Jason attempts to kill the penguin and Bruce beats him half to death - and the n52 which is what I think you mean in the second instance - which was Bruce taking Jason to the warehouse he died in bc he was hoping to jog Jason's memory of how he came back to life bc damian had died and he was trying to bring him back to life by traumatising Jason again and then he him and Jason fight

But to counter that there are alot of good writers who actually understand batman better (imo) who show that Bruce does care about all his children, including Jason, like im not the biggest fan of how chip zdarsky writes Jason but when he writes Bruce and Jason he does show how much Bruce loves Jason and cares about him

Concept for what happens to Abel's daughter after her death

So here are two old (unfinished and never to be finished sadly) drawings of her after having her consciousness transported into the cartridge

Here's also some newer sketches I did

She takes on the form of Skull kid and I chose for it to be this way for two reasons

1. (I believed it was conformed) that B.E.N takes form of Majora (please correct me if I'm wrong) and I wanted to symbolize B.E.N still having control over Jean even after her death (Take note of how this is inspired off of the Mask taking over skull kid in the actual Game) B.E.N was a huge influence of Jean's actions that involved things such as mentally or physically hurting other people B.E.N was also a huge influence of her death as leading her to the cult to "help" her figure out Benjamin's dissaperence/death (I'll be writing more on the idea of her investigating Benji's death some other time) As in the game itself the Mask aka Majora had a big influence on how Skull kid mentally and physically harmed people though it was out of his control just like how everything that happened to Jean after the encounter with B.E.N and so forth was out of her control. Jean is nothing more but a puppet for B.E.N to toy with and control just like how Skull kid was nothing more but a puppet to Majora.

2. Jean has alot of personality traits similar to the Skull kid from Majora's mask (Both being mischievous trouble makers) along with the idea that just like Skull kid was abandoned by his friends just like how Jean was abandoned by her's before her untimely demise. Though after the series of events from the canon arg she finally finds a new friend.
