A/N: So funny thing I wrote like half of this and then my app reset so I have to rewrite almost I’ll of it :,) but anyways this is also kinda a comfort fic for me because I’ve been dealing with a lot of sensory issues and transphobia lately , along with being borderline denied an autism assessment so this is a fic for both of us anon

Trans male reader, autistic reader, dysphoria, sensory issues, autism meltdown, non sexual nudity

Days like these are tough. From the moment you woke up you could tell that something was wrong. It starts with the clothes. The shirt and jacket just feel wrong.

But there’s nothing else to wear so… you wear it. Then it gets worse in class. The temperature is just too much, and it makes your clothes feel so much worse, like you want to just scratch at your skin until the feeling stopped.

The noises the people make around you are unbearable. The gum chewing, the lip smacking, all of it is just to much. It makes you want to tear your hair out and rip your ears off.

The lights are too bright and everyone is just so loud, it’s starting to feel like your getting a migraine, like you just can’t take it anymore and start screaming at any moment.

And of course somehow these feelings just make you more aware of your body. You’re suddenly hyper aware of your chest, your waist, your face, even your voice. It’s all too much.

Luckily, when you first came to Night Raven Colege, you thought ahead about this. It was important for your teachers to understand your situation, diagnosis or not.

Crewel was aware of your situation, and with one look you’re able to slip out of class. You rush back to your dorm as quickly as possible, suddenly grateful that classes were going on so nobody could see you. You can’t help the whines that slip from your throat as you desperately try to hold yourself back from completely breaking down into a mess of screams and cries.

You’re able to quickly make it back to your dorm, locking yourself in your room and throwing off your uniform. Sure, being completely naked almost in tears in your dorm room isn’t the most flattering thing, but you just had to get that stupid uniform off.

Rubbing down the worst feeling parts of your body, you’re able to calm down enough to dig out your favorite clothes and throw them back on, even if they not be in the best state. You just need them right now.

Being able to use any type of noise cancelling headphones or earbuds helps calm you down a little bit more. Just having them in, even if you’re not playing anything, it helps get all of the noises from the day out of your head.

A drink of water also helps. In very few gulps you’re able to swallow almost an entire bottle of water. You lay down in your bed, breathing heavily as you start to calms down in a safer environment.

As you lay in bed, you can feel your soft blanket in your feet, rubbing them back in forth to get a nicer sensation than what you were feeling for most of the day.

Taking a few more sips of water, completely finishing off the water bottle, you take your stim toy of choice. You have all of your favorite options thanks to everyone at NRC giving them to you. As you fidget and play one of your favorite videos, you start to think. You managed to slip out of class, and you didn’t even hurt yourself or make a complete mess of your room. At least that’s some progress.

You’re cut off by your thinking by a knock on the door. Not able to form words at the moments, you pull yourself out of bed and peek out of the door.

Standing there is your tall, rather intimating boyfriend.

“Eh? Shirmpy what happened? You just left class so suddenly…”

He has his usual playful drone to his voice, but you can tell the slight hint of concern, a difference you’re sure only you and his brother can notice.

You stay silent, just giving him a pained look and hoping he understand. He does.

“Not talkin’? Alright… you want me to stay?”

You’re able to give him a small nod, and he walks right in and practically jumps onto your bed, making grabby hands at you, his mood doing almost a 180, as he usually does.

You could always depend on Floyd to understand what you’re going through. He also has his fair share of his own mood swings and tantrums, he’s never judge you for your own.

You walk back to bed and slowly slink into his arms, leaning against his chest comfortably. Floyd was somehow never too hot or too cold to cuddle with. He was somehow always the perfect temperature no matter what you were feeling. It almost feels like he knows how to control his own body temperature on purpose.

He squeezes you tight, not as hard as he does when he’s mad at someone or intentionally trying to hurt them, but a real, genuine hug. And it’s perfect. Others would complain that his squeezes are way to tight, but to you it’s perfect. He’s almost like a weighted blanket. You’re glad you make him feel safe enough to hug you as hard as he wants with genuine love.

He snuggle close to you, leaving soft kisses on his he top of your head and cheek, but not anywhere that may be uncomfortable in your overstimulated time. He’s mindful of where exactly he’s touching you, he knows what parts don’t want to be touched in these moments, even the most obscure ones.

As the two of you snuggle and watch whatever you chose to put on, he mutters sweet things to you.

“I love yooou.” ���My boyfriend….” “My boy.” “So handsome”

It seems like he’s in a lovey mood now. Even with his sudden switches, he always seems to know the right things that you need to hear. He also checks up on how you’re feeling.

“Are ya comfortable?” “Feelin’ any better?” “Are you too warm?” “Do ya want your stuffed animal?” “Want me to move my arms?”

When you aren’t talking, the both of you are in a comfortable silence. It starts to become hard to keep your eyes open after the day you’ve had combined with the cozy environment with your boyfriend holding you tight.

Eventually, you can’t fight the exhaustion anymore and feel yourself starting to drift. Before you fully fall asleep, you feel a soft kiss on the top of your head and the arms around you squeeze just a bit tighter.

“G’night Shirmpy, sweet dreams…”

so why do you like Scourge the Hedgehog? What got you interested in him?

Yo my first ask!!!! Thank you so much for asking me a question, and to anybody else, I'll always be happy to respond to questions you may have about me or my oc's. Anyways, this is gonna be kinda long. ^^'

Long Explanation: So I've always liked Scourge design wise, ever since I was pretty little. Maybe about seven was when I saw him for the first time? I used to mistake him for Manic, but eventually learned the difference. When I learnt he was an Evil Counterpart of Sonic, I was hooked on him. I've always been a fan of AU's, and the concept has been something I loved to write for a very long time. Since I was young, I didn't understand his character, and wrote him in a dumb way when I was younger. Usually as a generic bad boy antagonist in Sonic High School AU's and stuff...

Later on during 2019, I was bored and decided to read more of the Archie Comics. That's when I learnt his backstory, and I became HOOKED on his universe, and the other Anti Counterparts. I began doing research, and I ended up starting a Gacha Life Shorts Show called The Misadventures Of Moebius on Tik Tok. It's still currently going, and I genuinely have fun writing it. It's mostly just me expanding on Anti Mobius, since the Archie Comics came to an end, and we never got to see many things from the universe. Many of the early episodes are inaccurate to my thoughts on most of the characters nowadays, and how they act. But to be fair, it's my first ever series, and I was only about 12 when I began making it for the first time. And at that point, I didn't even finish reading Archie like a dummy. I basically wanted to make silly shorts with some goofy characters I liked.

I appreciate his cool design, and the many writing opportunities he holds. It's easy to see Scourge as all evil, and write him as a cool villain. This is because of his cocky and rebellious demeanor. But it's also just as easy to see him as a misunderstood and not all evil character, which is how I personally see him. I think the idea of him and his father would've been cool to see more of, since obviously Scourge's home life effected the way he turned out growing up. And that if he's with the right people, he could've been just like Sonic! Kind of like an inverse on what he says to Sonic during one of their battles. In other people's AU's he's still a bad guy, but in my own I redeemed him. The nuanced way that people can see his character is a reason why I love him so much!

Plus, I like how he isn't super crazy like other Archie Sonic Villain's. Sometimes he's just kind of a dickbag, and I always enjoy someone who can be threatening, but also silly. I don't love everything about his character of course, he has some things that I try to forget about with his writing. But that's basically the case for every single character I like from anything ever. XD

I love this little shit so much. XD

TLDR:I've liked the green goober for a while now, but only since 2019 have I been more public about my love for this dummy. I love the idea of his universe, I like the many paths writers can take his character, and I just think his personality is really fun.

If you're interested, bellow is a work in progress on my Headcannon/AU Scourge that I use in my TMOM Episodes and videos! I hope to draw him, and the other cannon cast more often. And maybe interacting with my Anti Counterparts I made, or original characters from his universe I've built up for five years now. But I'm starting out by just making him a ref page. Book of Spinjitzu absolutely IS an important piece of ninjago media... I love it so much

It was that book that solidified Wu's place as my favourite character overall. Before that, it was a toss up between him and Zane. But then...

AUGHHH an opportunity to talk about JJ's accent and Midwestern upbringing??? are you aware of the gift you have given me????? bug you are THE BEST

(a lot of this is me talking about growing up in the Midwest because I think JJ should get the good parts too)

JJ spent his time under the stars, a lot. Far away from the city, you get the prettiest view of the sky at night. He would start a bonfire with his brothers and sister, make smores under the night sky. It's some of his fondest memories. He really misses the stars sometimes.

So, JJ is from the outskirts of a very small town in South Dakota. Most of his time was spent either on farm chores or daydreaming during the drive to school, which took an hour at times. He knew how to drive tractor when he was eight; he rode horses and cared for chickens and spent his life doing the dirty work. When he was younger, he was tanned, sported sunburns, and had more freckles and muscle from the work.

Speaking of, he does have siblings! Two older brothers, and one younger sister who could kick any of their asses. There's a scrapbook of family photos somewhere in the boxes of his studio apartment in Chicago (the city may change in the future), and one of her sitting on his shoulders in a corn field. When life is hell, he finds that book.

Despite that, JJ wasn't The Farm Kid in his family. His oldest brother was supposed to take over the farm before he had a kid; then the second oldest moved to Georgia. He was a farm kid, but he didn't know it as well as his brothers. He left for Chicago anyway. Everyone knew why. He couldn't make a difference in a small town like that. He was "born for better things".

His strength was never superhuman. He was just used to throwing hay bales

He feels very isolated in the city because he doesn't know everyone

He played sports in high school, mainly baseball, but he was also in some theater things. He loved expressions, and playing the heros

He got a box of all of his dad's old comic books and read them all the time

There is a Midwestern custom of if you're on time, you're late, and if you're early, you're on time. This is deeply instilled in JJ. He hates being late

He is very used to picking up problems. This is an odd phrase, but consider: you grow up on a farm that raises several baby animals. Those animals are problems? You pick them up. That habit carries over. He will just pick people up if they're being an issue

If a house isn't carpeted, he wears his shoes. Farm house floors aren't as clean as city houses. The habit is hard to break

His favorite road rage insult is "dipstick" because he didn't swear in the car when his parents drove with him

ACCENTS NOW!!!

For JJ, Midwestern accents are distinct in that they sound almost typical American with just a little bit of strange to it. Often you'll hear an 'e' sound before an 'a' (let's she'are something, can I te'ake that from you), and that is still mildly present in his accent. He also tends to crack down pretty hard on 'r' sounds--take a typical American accent and make all the vowels a little harsher, and you've got the classic Midwest. The faster he talks, the more harsh the vowels and rhotics get.

Morrigan's accent is much more West Coast or Washington. Not a movie popular "sahh dude" kind of accent, but if you took the harshness out of the Midwest and the roundness out of the Southern, you get a sort of California accent. There is a lightness on 'r's and vowels ever so slightly reminiscent of English accents (they also say "aye-ther" instead of "eether"). They're however able to change their accent depending on the situation. (It is hilarious to witness stuffy, professional Morrigan start ranting like they're from New Jersey.)

Wow that is so odd that you'd ever think I have an interest in that man. I'm a serious and respectable researcher. So anyway, let's get into my girlfriend, dead wife and favourite boy - Lyonya!

I'm afraid there isn't one definite source to read to learn all about him... what he was up to after the explosion is described in a particularly gut wrenching way in the book by Yuri Shcherbak, (not the translated one, the Russian original) if that's something you're interested in. Midnight in Chernobyl is probably the book to read if one is interested in his person, there's little else you can learn about him from other books, sadly.

I can share any and all interesting bits I do know about him that aren't just in any particular... thing... that I have learnt up until this point in my quest to find out absolutely everything. For starters in Midnight in Chernobyl, Sasha Korol claimed our dear Lyonya got into a drunken fight with the thermodynamics tutor, right? Well, Lyonya's room-mate from collage says otherwise :)

Y.I. (I'd rather not put him on blast in case he'd prefer to keep a low profile) commented under Kupnyi's interview with Korol:

The translation is in the alt text but the jist is this: there was never any fight with any tutor or professor or anyone else (Y.I. says Toptunov was "non-confrontational"). There was, however, an argument between Lyonya and another student, which got reported to the higher ups by a professor who witnessed the whole thing. And yes, his dad saved his ass, just like it's described in the book. Not something he would have been saved from that easily if he actually beat up a member of the teaching staff, I reckon.

Korol is an unreliable narrator, unfortunately. Nothing against him, I'm sure his objective in life is not to make Toptunov look bad, if the fact that they had each others' keys and were always real... close together in pictures - hey, I'm not judging, you guys do you - is anything to go by, but to me it's pretty clear that the years took their toll on him. Perhaps he wanted to make Lyonya seem cooler.

He worked (or interned?) in Kiev, in the Department of Nuclear Safety and Control of Reliability of Reactor Installations. Maybe that's where that one mysterious photo of him, in which nobody knows what he's doing, comes from...

Another interesting thing? Apparently Lyonya wasn't too keen on being a Lyonya. He preferred being called Lyosha. Okay, well, what does that even mean? asks any non-Slavic speaker at this moment. It means that he used a diminutive not for his name - Leonid - when introducing himself, but for the name Aleksey. So much so that in an interview with Stolyarchuk, he just straight up calls him "Aleksey Toptunov". Lyosha is also how (at least one of) his Prypiat neighbours knew him. Given that his name was not that popular in his generation, maybe he felt as if it was too old school... an Old Man's Name.

There are two lost media... bits regarding him, too. I learned about both from @/toptunovleonid on Instagram who is THE Toptunov expert, truly. Nobody does it like she does, 10/10, I'd trust her with my life. One is an apparent article from around 2015 claiming that he was in the collage choir for a short period of time and another being medical documents, perhaps related to army admission or training. He was apparently 185cm and 86kg at, I'm guessing, 18-19. There is literally no "professional" explanation as to why and what do I know this for.

But I would also be remiss to not rec the fic that got me thinking about the pairing, The Long Con! The fic is centered on Diane escaping Atlas, but there's such an openness to the end that makes me consider what Brigid and Diane teaming up after would be like!

AND SINCE WE'RE HERE tenengrace tenengrace oh my god tenengrace please read Aunt Gracie's Girls it's immaculate. Grace and Brigid are just teaming up and the dialogue between them is already so amazing. You can tell the care they both have for the Little Sisters and how that will be a driving force for their relationship as it progresses. Getting that wonderful Grace content and so many cute Little Sisters 🥹 Fantastic fic I think about it so much!!!

where do i even begin with this. i apologize in advance if my words are messy. i've been switching between these few pages covering my mouth like a perfectly well-adjusted individual who has not just realized that Oh, so this story's about siblings, is it. <- AVERAGE SIBLING TRAGEDY ENJOYER. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE HOW LITTLE I KNEW ABOUT THIS GOING IN.

i was so ready to just hop on the idea of: "if you're in tune with [hijutsu?] you can feel it awakening in miharu" & that tobari was just the closest, but now this brings up all sorts of questions irt what miharu remembers + why miharu's grandparents would recognize tobari (unless he was assumed dead; though even then you'd also assume that they would've mentioned him by name & he'd be recognized through that. or unless he isn't a biological relative...)

^ OR unless he was influenced into giving a wish: being that miharu would be given the chance to live something more peaceful despite the power he held. but i don't know how that'd work out. which also can i just bring up how fucked this panel is -- trying to frame a genuine desire to protect someone else into something selfish. because why else would you even bother with it, huh...

also even the detail here that he still keeps the same sort of weapon on him all these years later... i'll die.

also also, speaking of reflections of past scenes. the utter contrast of something godly (of a sort) so freely offering protection, but with the connotation of 'shall' (which, as we've seen, usually warrants something in exchange... in this case: a wish) then contrasted with tobari surviving on 'will' alone. it's a promise only a mortal can make... and that's the weight given to it.

which just. now that i'm thinking about it, i wonder if the implication of this being forgotten was through miharu giving a wish to kill everyone else around him (hence why that's when the power took over again when he was abt to be overwhelmed), or if it was to revive tobari(?!) ... I DON'T KNOW. SPECULATION. MAYBE IT WAS ANOTHER CASE LIKE THIS (BELOW) WHERE MIHARU WAS TRYING TO CALL UPON ANY SOLUTION FROM THE 'WISDOM' & IT JUST OVERWHELMED THE OTHERS SURROUNDING HIM...? & if he Did find a solution within it, it could be a case of this scenario also being tucked away in the depths of his memory once it was finished...?!

HOW AM I JUST MEANT TO CONTINUE WITH A NORMAL TRAIN SEQUENCE INTO FUUMA LIKE THIS. you even see just how blank miharu's eyes are after this, & how listlessly he stands... aughhh

You woke up curled next to Tighnari. Lifting your head slightly as his began to fall. You held it up for him on your shoulder. You looked down to see the both of yours and his tail wrapped against the others body. Blushing slightly as you used magic to bring the paper on the table towards you. (If only I could irl) Reading what collei had written. You were happy for her. She was getting better at literature. 

"Y/N or Tighnari, whoever is reading this. I would like to ask you both on how to control my dendro powers better. I also want to learn a bit of magic as well just incase I can't use my bow. Please give me some lessons on these. I told the forest rangers to not disturb you both. I'm hoping none came inside, I told them to go to Rana instead. I hope you both enjoyed your nap. I would surely be exhausted talking for hours as my social battery isn't as high. Make sure to check the time when you both work up. I have some pita pockets made on the table for the both of you if you're both hungry."

"Awwh! That's so sweet of her!" You said in a soft voice being careful to not wake Tighnari up beside you. Your tail swished slowly as you kept reading the note. Checking the time which was 6pm. The usual time for dinner. "Hey Nari, it's 6pm do you want to eat?" You nudged him slightly Ashe work up from the gentle touch. "Mmhh?" He said as his eyes opened. He rubbed them as he registered your sentence.

"Oh sure! Also since when did you start calling me Nari hm-?~" he asked with a bit of tease in his voice. "Today because I feel comfortable, it's nice meeting a kindred spirit y'know?" You said as you pointed to the pita pockets in front of the both of you. Silently enjoying the food with not many thoughts in your head. "Do you want to do anything after we're done?" You asked him and he nodded. "Yeah I can take you somewhere that I think you would like in the Avidya Forest." "Ooh! That sounds fun!" You said as he nodded. "Make sure to not startle them. Be careful when we head there." He said as he kept eating. 

You gave him your plate as you finished. Taking them both to the sink and returning to the couch. "When do you want to go? I say nighttime is the prettiest for this place." "We can go right now if you want to Tighnari." "Alright I'll leave a note for collei to find if she can't find us." He said as you got up and went outside. He wrote where you were going to be with him and when you both should return. Before getting up and joining you.

"It's this way." He said as he pulled your shirt(or jacket) lightly. Tugging it to the right. "Oh haha!" You said slightly embarrassed as you followed him. (And no it's not a real location 🥰) After a few turns and dealing with paths you both made it to the spot. You were in awe as Tighnari looked at you. "That was how I was when I first stumbled across this place." He laughed as his gaze went back towards it. 

It was a little clearing with a pond,  Firefly's dazzled around it while some foxes were nearby resting. You could hear crickets clearly with the water rushing slowly. Some birds chirped nearby, the sounds of the animals were calming. "Make sure to not scare them away, be gentle." He said as he brought you closer. Sitting near the edge of the pond. Watching as some of the foxes came up towards him. Cautious and wary of you before realizing you wouldn’t hurt them. 

“Hmm.” You said as you petted a fox that was near you. “I wonder how it feels getting scratched behind the ear.” You said as your eyes went towards the fox. “It feels nice.” Tighnari told you as he took a few notes. “Woww so descriptive.” You playfully rolled your eyes at him as he laughed. “Numbskull of course it feels good.” Still writing notes down. “Well I never experienced it since my ears are lowered often.” 

“Anyways how long are we going to stay here?” You asked as you looked at him.” “I suppose we could stay here for a bit more if you want.” “Sure then.” You replied as your focus went elsewhere. “Are we going when you finish your notes?” “Yeah I am almost done.” He continued to write before getting up. Handing out his hand to you as you touched his. Going back towards Tighnaris house. 

“Our exchange is changing a lot.” You said out loud as he heard you. “Yeah we’re becoming friends, that’s how interactions work.” “Do you always have a need to be sassy?” “Not really do you?” “No…” “That’s good.” Collei saw as the both of you came back. Giving her report to Tighnari and told what happened while the both of you were away. “Thank you collei.” He stated as he sat down on a chair. Reading the reports that she handed him. “I’ll go get ready for bed.” Teleporting away from the both of them and quickly took a shower and changed. Using clothes you had brought along as you came back to the both of them.

“That was quick.” Collei stated as she saw you teleport in front of them. You wore a long shirt with medium length pants. Watching Tighnari read the reports. “They all did well today. Glad there’s no longer withering zone reports. Those were tiring with a limited amount of people available to battle them.” 

“It sounds as difficult as the Decree we had in inazuma. It was hard to get trades and export everything. With less visitors and unable to make trades made it hard to earn money.” You said remembering how many had suffered to afford their homes. “I have heard about it. Especially with the raiden shogun not letting anyone slip up.” 

“Anyways you guys can go sleep I’ll be writing my responses to the forest rangers.” Tighnari stated as he watched you both leave the room. Focusing on making his responses. His eyes went towards the window. Gazing at the moon every now and then. Before falling asleep on his bed. 

“Tighnari are you up yet?” You said as you tapped him as his shoulder, his ears picked up on your voice as he looked at you. “What’s up?” “The sky, anyways I’m heading to sumeru city to get some souvenirs. Do you know any good spots? Or I can mark some stuff based on sumeru.” 

“I can teach you to make a flower crown in exchange for how to make something from inazuma.” He stated as you agreed. “We can go make some quickly before I start working.” “Yeah it sounds fun!” He took out some Nilotpalas lotuses and sumeru roses. “Chose however pattern you want.” He said as he made a pattern. Watching you do the same thing. “So here’s how you do it…”

“Master has been exchanging information with Y/N again. I don’t know where they headed off to but don’t worry! He definitely wrote a message somewhere on a letter. I think it’s over there actually.” Collei stated as she handled the amount of forest rangers coming to her for help. (This sure is getting hard to keep up with, I hope the both of them return soon to us.) she thought as the number of forest rangers dwindled and finally dispersed.“Oh it’s time for patrol soon. So they should be returning soon for it.” Collei told herself as she checked the time. Getting everything ready for him and her for his arrival with you. 

“That was fun! I like the combo, purple and yellow is always great together.” You said as you enjoyed the color choice. “Glad you do, anyways it’s time for patrol so we are heading back, you can go to sumeru city and look for souvenirs and stuff over there while we’re busy.” “Alright well we should hurry we don’t want you being late to it.” He nodded as the both of you ran towards Gandharva Ville. “Well goodbye guys!” You said as you waved goodbye as they headed off. Teleporting to sumeru city you were in awe. Sumeru city’s tree really was holding up the Akademiya. “Now to find someone or somewhere to go to for souvenirs.” You stated as you wandered around the place. Many things caught you eye as you purchased some for your friends and had some breakfast over there. 

“Sumeru city is nice I didn’t think there would be a whole tree in the city! “ you told yourself as your gaze lingered on it before you pulled out your phone and started to eat. Trying to ignore the stares you recieved from others. Were they all in awe of you or were they trying to figure out what you are? Surely the scholars know you’re from inazuma and are kitsune. The ones that aren’t scholars may only know of you being inazuman.
