sigh i guess it's less about "it should have happened earlier" and more "it doesn't feel like there's going to be enough time to resolve this"
#i've talked through what i instinctively didn't like about this episode on several occasions today now#and... yeah every part of what boeing is causing in sandray is true to character#(boundary issues possessiveness etc)#but i guess there's just. not enough time to devote to everything i wanted for them#when we have to do boeing hours#i don't object to the plot point at all (i am a jealous ray afficionado as we know)#its just that theres stuff i wanted sandray to cover that they havent and its starting to look like they wont#(sand breakdown. how does he get by without selling plum wine. etc)#and i just....... man we didnt need this#if we must have it i understand why#and i see the character points#and i love angry little ray i do#but. sigh. do you get me#rowan chatter#also boeing does not have human motivations but that's... you know. genre a little bit
