Going back through Sophomore Year, it's easy to see why (my version, at least, of) Arianwen Abernant fell in love with Cassandra.
To me, Arianwen is a wizard obsessed with figuring out magic, working out how it works on the atomic level, unravelling every mystery she can get her hands on including a wild magic sorcerer. And here is a wizard (or wizard adjacent) goddess of mysteries, who is herself a mystery. I can see Arianwen seeing herself in this then Nameless Goddess, and seeing how much she could understand and learn and unravel with her. I think, as a wizard, Arianwen wouldn't normally be open to the idea of worshipping a god but this one she can get behind.
