I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.

What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?

In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.

The chain as a whole would want to prove her right xD )#Once they're more comfortable in the house though I can totally see Wind and Legend making a mad dash for it while Wars yells after them xD #Wind probably ends up sharing with Four a lot since they're the littles #or Wind snuggles in with Wars Legend Wild etc #Wild and Twi/Wolfie have claimed the spot on the floor by the fireplace.#For inn rooms / castle rooms / camping - I tend to group them by how they're grouped a lot already #but a lil mixed up #Time - Sky - Wars are the good rest trio. they want a good night's rest please let them get their beauty sleep. often joined by Four #Wars goes between this group and wherever Legend is depending on how chatty he is that night.#Twi - Wild - Hyrule are snuggle/proximity buddies #Legend is attached to Hyrule's hip or sets up near Warriors to gossip and gripe. I can also see him setting up near Wild #in the eye of the storm as it were or just an interesting place to be. Wild and Hyrule can get to chatting about everything and anything #so if Legend wants background noise (Hyrule and Wild podcast omg)-#or a conversation he can be half a part of and jump in and out of while getting ready for the night or in the mornings-#this is a good place to be. add Wind and things get a bit more chaotic.#Wind gravitates to Wars and Legend too when curious and chatty. He gravitates towards Time when he wants something calmer.#Four tends to be near Sky or Twi or to Legend's group for the same reasons #I can see Four and Twi having a little book club going during downtimes where they talk about what they're reading. Sky likes to listen. <3 #Wind thinks they're nerds but so is he and he can't resist a good story so he orbits and sometimes settles in and peppers questions.#it's funny that Time Sky and Wars want to sleep the most but Legend follows Wars to chat (and ends up bringing people with him xD )#there could be some conflict there oooo #Twi is by Time #it's almost a circle but with clusters of sleeping bags near on top of each other and filling the gaps

I just want everyone to know that in the span of 3 days, I have made 3 loads of laundry, and have a 4th already sorted and ready to go (which includes towels / blankets / bedding). I still need to fold them and put them away BUT the important part is done 🥹

#once i out them all away i need to wash my plushies too but i'll leave it for next weekend #the laundry situation was bugging me A LOT. almost ran out of socks #why is laundry the most arduous and daunting of house chores? even dishes are much easier to get through #that post about making coffee in a million steps really resonates with me #because that's what doing laundry feels like. it's not just “wash clothes and put them away”#it's gather all dirty clothing in one place -> double check my “in use” clothes to see what also needs to be washed -> separate by colour #put on the washer -> take off the washer -> check if the clothesline is empty (and empty if not)#put them on the clothesline to dry -> empty the clothesline -> bring them to my room -> sort and fold -> put away -> rinse and repeat #many many steps. putting them outside to dry takes so long and so much energy out of me ugh #(no we do not use dryers here. that's not a thing. also i've had the experience back in the uk and while very convenient #it wears the fabric down so so much. clothes nowadays are made so flimsy and terrible quality #and using a dryer ruined a few of my favourite shirts. i do miss having warm sheets straight away tho)#but yeah. adult does basic chore whomp whomp (it's hard. i get it. you get it. i'm proud of myself and everyone else who has done A Task)#darya talks to herself

Can you imagine Laenor getting used to being around Harwin and how bewildering it must be? Because Laenor has grown up with a father like Corlys who is all about names and names and ambition and meaningless honour which he choses over his own son. But here is Harwin, a father who doesn't give a shit about names, whose honour is literally his sons and princess. And while he is commander of the city watch and Rhaenyra's sworn shield which are high positions for sure, everyone knows he could enjoy a far more comfortable and luxurious life back at Harrenhall as its heir. But here he is, ambition of being the future lord pushed aside in favour of being with his children. We just know he was going to be queensguard for the rest of his life when Nyra became queen and kingsguard when Jace became king if they had all lived. Here is a father who doesn't care that his sons call Laenor father, heck him and Laenor are friends! He only cares about protecting them all, uncaring of names and no insecurities. Jace, Luke, Joff could be called Targaryen, Strong, Velaryon, Rivers, Waters and it would make zero difference to Harwin (and Rhaenyra) who would protect and cherish his babies regardless and that.. that makes Laenor reel because it stands in complete opposition to the kind of father he has grown up with. And he wishes that Corlys had more of Harwin's honour, that his father could have valued Leanor's happiness as Harwin valued the happiness of their sons, that his father could have looked beyond his ambition and history books and just looked at him.

tdov was like a week ago already but I just wanna say when I came over to vacation slash help my sworn brother move flat he told me, "ever since you said you wanted to get top surgery I've been thinking about it. it's straight up number two on my bucket list"

I was not bc I have the constitution of a hot air balloon and any stimulant will blow me up #(relatively new development. france fucked me up big time turns out)#we held hand on his bed for like the whole evening. it was honestly very funny in hindsight but we were extremely earnest in the moment #and Im like. working on this thing as well. I dont got meds or therapy lmao Im bootstrappin here #but yeah early last year his bf offered to get me meds and I... turned it down... I think I was worried abt like. idk. something #but one year past looking back Im fully like that was a stupid move you shouldve gotten meds. youve once again fucked urself baku #but yeah with that kinda realization Ive also come to realized I've somewhat? accepted. that I'm just gonna be. like this #this in light of a number of likely chronic stuff too (hence my balloon-like constitution lmao) and #that's kinda bled into the rest of me without me really noticing #but him bringing that up fully unprompted... kinda jolted me out of it #its just. really incredibly sweet. that someone doesn't want me to settle for what I make do with #and like. preps for that work. just kinda held my hand and told me it's possible to do this actually #I didn't really express how I felt very well in that moment I think my brain is very bad and I process emotions with like a day of delay #but. well. new person at work trying to peer pressure me into doing a charity 5k after i already told her no i don’t want to and it is starting to annoy me so bad!!!!!

#first of all not a runner and there are many ways i can support a charity and esp this charity without having to do that #but okay for context it’s for the ronald mcdonald house and she was like #i’m just going to start bringing in photos of the kids they help and leave them on your desk like ?????
