Lisa Marie Fusco, 32 (USA 2010)
Lisa Marie Fusco and her unborn child were killed in 2010 by Ambulatory Surgery Center in Brooklyn. AMC had been allowed to remain open even though they were already responsible for the death of Nicey Washington.
Lisa Marie was a New York resident. On October 27, an abortionist at Ambulatory Surgery Center inserted laminaria and packed her vagina with gauze. Lisa Marie returned for the actual abortion the next day with no idea of the danger she was in. By November 2, she was dead at the age of 32.
The lawsuit filed on behalf of Lisa Marie's only surviving child said that that due diligence was not followed, the abortion itself was contraindicated and Lisa Marie was not properly monitored during the abortion itself, directly killing her.
In America, there is no law requiring the reporting of abortion-related data. Since reporting maternal deaths from abortion is strictly voluntary, many states or regions (typically the ones with overly permissive abortion laws) don’t report any of these deaths. Because Lisa Marie died in New York, her death was not included in the CDC’s count of maternal deaths by legal abortion.
Legal abortion tore apart a family. Lisa Marie’s surviving child is left without a mother and a sibling.

i don't think i ever posted about albejupi ?? (first pic is trace base) i think jupiter was just fascinated by alberius as a person and alberius is just . not immune to dragon man but they're less of a ship than almids in my head it's sorta just like jupi messing with albe + being a homewrecker on purpose
jupiter always says he's unconventional he def would bring up the idea of a human and a dragon in a relationship at some point... their human form is also changeable so like… jupi messing around to figure out albe's type…

flowers
the flow is not ideal so here's an explanation:
alberius explains to mids why he is giving him a bouquet of flowers (a token of affection) and mids understands and continues to give him flowers 300 years later

B for any fandom
B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind
Not an specific person responsible for it, but I only Got Almids thanks to the fan content that bothered to add the trivial funsies moment that the game just completely skipped over and went straight to "they're besties :)"

Adoana Basics
All right, so looking back at my work, and with some very helpful feedback telling me much the same thing, I have realized that, um, no one not inside my head has any idea what's going on. Many apologies. I hope none of you are inside my head. That sounds painful.
Anyway, I'm just gonna give a short (haha, who am I kidding) summary of the basics of Adoana.
So I'll start with social structures...
The First Children (often just called Firsts) consider themselves to be the firstborn of the Goddesses, and come in 4 major species: the Chisoans (3 races of man: Elatan, Daratan and Menatan), the Barisians (various tribes of Ocobritia), the Almeren (2 races) and the Jiamans.
The Second Children (called Seconds [I know, I'm super creative]) are the second born of the Goddesses, and come in a plethora of different forms. This nomenclature only applies to the intelligent/cultured/civilized members of the much larger class, Other-Kin.
There are also Twisted Children, which are Firsts or Seconds that have been warped by dark magics.
Regarding souls...
Souls are very important to all the people of Adoana, as they are fragments of the souls of the Mortal Goddesses. Different cultures release the soul in different ways after death, but they believe that there are a relatively finite number of souls, and so souls are thought to be reborn.
The task of bearing the souls through to the next life is the task of the Aorynan, a special type of being that was created when Mortality was introduced to the universe. They dwell in a 'mirror dimension' known, creatively, as the Other World (subject to change to a much cooler and more sophisticated phrase.)
There are also different types of souls, taken from the idea that nothing breaks perfectly. The Almided is an Age Soul, or a soul that can be reborn every thousand years. Different cultures say these souls do different things during their hiatus.
Also, because souls are fragments of the souls of the Goddesses, they are high demand for various nefarious sects that use them to practice a dark, hybrid branch of magic known as Shadow Magic.
On Time...
Adoana is larger than Earth, and each year is approx. 450 days in length. It is a moon, and orbits a gas giant known as Chismos. Much like our own moon, it has a rather special orbit type, which always places it directly between the sun and Chismos.
There are 6 other moons orbiting Chismos, and they lend their names to the cycles, which are 19 day periods during which the respective moon travels the sky as visible from Adoana.
Day length is about the same as here. A touch longer, but I'm not gonna spend time describing clocks in my writing. I hope.
On the Past/Major Cultures...
I'm not gonna get too in depth with this, but there are some things that are important...
The current geopolitical landscape amongst the Chisoans is the result of a 400 year war they waged amongst themselves, in which the Menata were eventually victorious.
The Culling refers to the creation of the Seconds. It's full name is the Culling of Man.
The Magistries are centers of magical learning. They are predominantly found in Menatan cities. Other cultures take different approaches to magic.
The Battle of Daschy was a battle between Firsts and Seconds, and Other-Kin and Twisted Children. It was, in a word, bad.
Magic Stuff...
There are a lot of different types of magic (vary based on sources and means of access): Sigil (Basically science), Intrinsic (Basic characteristics, e.g. Luck or Persuasion. Skills), Natural (Mostly used by Seconds), Ritual (Runes/Sacrifice), Alchemical, Enchanting and Shadow (only one that does not rely on creation energy)
Runeglass allows runes to be inscribed without setting off the reaction usually associated with writing runes. There are two types, voidglass (magic obsidian, basically) and brightglass (worked from diamonds from meteors) and can be used to craft/coat various devices that run on magic, such as wands.
