Climate Festival 2024 in retrospect
Climate Festival 2024 There's nothing to celebrate when it has to do with the global climate - so why a festival? It's about the construction transition!
Transsolar believes that the construction industry needs ecological and social transformation - and fortunately we are not alone. The “3rd Climate Festival for the Construction Transition” organized by BauNetz and Heinze in November 2024 was entitled “Together we are changing the construction industry. Sustainably.” “Together” is the guiding value. Networking and exchange can create paths: Where do we want to go and what is possible? Christian Frenzel was on site with Christine von Raven, Alina Wagner and Felix Thumm. His personal short report: "We had two great days full of constructive discussions at our stand and were able to listen to remarkable presentations. Contributions that impressed me personally were, for example, those by Karsten Schwanke, Anna Heringer and Louisa Schneider and what they emphasized:
Heat waves with temperatures above 40°C and high humidity are coming our way with the corresponding weather extremes. We must not hide from this, neither in politics nor in industry, nor in planning etc., but we must act and we can!
Global thinking is important, but we, i.e. each and every one of us, must take action ourselves to help shape our living space in a positive way!
Change needs personalities who can communicate positive initiatives to all groups of people with strength and relentless commitment!
We were also very pleased about the exchange with both familiar faces and new contacts and the mutual appreciation in the discussions. The networking, combined with the exchange of content, between so many committed interest groups and individuals is encouraging, combined with the common goal: to make a difference in the construction industry against climate change!"

Don’t take the listed “genres” too seriously. All those categories, sub-categories and sub-sub-categories seem quite redundant to me - imho, they’re just unnecessarily confusing … but, then again, I’m no music-nerd, after all.

or those about more controversial topics, such as Extraterrestrials, so-called “conspiracy theories”, and the like (Problem!? Your loss. I don’t see why I shouldn’t look into these topics. It certainly is interesting, and it’s quite arrogant to assume we have it all figured out. Besides, no one says you have to believe anything you read, but it sure can’t hurt to approach things with a more open mind, and to just look where evidence leads us, when it presents itself.)

Upcoming Masked Ball - Wanted Connections/Events
For sake of keeping up with threads, will try to cap to 3-4 threads per muse!
Princess Araminta Windsor of England (fc: Alicia Vikander)
Date? Levi Schellenberg Bridezilla Vibes?? By this point, Araminta is likely telling people about her recent betrothal to Duke Levi. Maybe your muse is happy, maybe they're sad, or maybe they don't care. Either way - she's in it to dazzle! Mean Girl Madness - Love her, but she's a bit of an elitist. Maybe she's caught saying something catty about someone's outfit, or New Friends in High and Low Places - Soon to be the ruling Duchess, she's inclined to start making relationships to benefit Liechtenstein! Some fun politicking plots!
Lord Frederick Wolfenbüttel of Brunswick (fc: Lucien Laviscount)
Date? Alina De Medici It's my party and I'll cry if I want to - Being advisor to the French Court can be a good time, and a stressful time. Frederick will likely be working the room, ensuring all the diplomats have all they need to feel safe and happy after the robbery. This could be someone in sad vibes who Frederick has to cheer up. Or try to cheer up. The Parent Club - A young father with one on the way, Frederick could use more friends who are parents as well. I can even give you Frederick holding his baby Emilie, while he chats your muse up about baby games and play dates. Smooth Suspicion - We're still trying to find out who did this robbery! Maybe Fred suspects your muse and is sussing them out.
King Javier Wagner of Prussia (fc: Peter Gadiot)
Date? Zarin Najafi Let's get the party started - Parties are what Javier lives for, and he is ready to go! Debauchery. Madness. Let's have our muses pour champagne on a glass tower, steal a horse and ride with sparklers in hand, or even make a side-party elsewhere. No shortage of enemies - He's a naturally divisive and argumentative figure. If we haven't already, I'd love another "Javier being a prick" thread.
Maharaja Ashir Singh of Pakistan (fc: Riz Ahmed)
Date? None yet! Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir - "When in French Court" Ashir would say, partaking in the FranceHQ Ho Club antics of trying to find someone(s) to go home with tonight. Could be his date, could not be ;) Politics is hard. How's about we duel? - Perhaps an enemy or rival of Pakistan's (India, England, or we can make it up as a rival of Ashir). An argument that gets tense, these two decide the best way to deal is to sneak off from the masked ball and duke up with swords.
Princess Midori Yamoto (fc: Sonoya Mizuno)
Date? Qing Tian Feng (Secret date) This is who I am now - A bit of a revenge fantasy. Midori's been through it, growing up destitute and fighting her way to survival. This could be someone she served, sold something to, or interacted with during a royal/noble trip. Maybe your muse wasn't so kind back then, and we're in for a reckoning when they realize Midori is a whole Princess. Penny to keep a secret? - Her date is the Prince of China, Japan's sworn enemy. They are attempting to pursue this courtship in secret, but maybe your muse finds out. And maybe they're willing to keep quiet... For a price.
Lord Alistair Wright (fc: Patrick Gibson)
Date? Valencia Holland Revenge of the Ex's - Alistair is peak Mansplain, Manipulate, Malewife. He also has a habit of striking up relations for personal gain, and then ditching when it is no longer beneficial. Let this be someone he has scorned, who sees him at the party and is suspect. The Masked Mystery - He's a smart bloke, but the masks can look eerily similar! What if he mistakes your muse for someone else, and says something unsavory. Or worse, lets them in on a secret.

The cast page has been updated!
It would take too long to name every individual change that’s been made, so I’ll keep it to the important parts.
I lost my mind halfway through coding this so half the character descriptions are jokes. This is good because I’m extremely funny (and cool and sexy) so you will enjoy this.
The page was moved to a separate blog to get around tumblr's new rules on javascript.
The page is generally more comprehensive, including extremely minor characters, and the casts of more MCU projects (both ones I didn’t plan on using when I made the old OC page as well as newer projects that hadn’t come out yet like Eternals, Shang-Chi, etc.)
The order of characters has shifted, with the OG seven Avengers listed first, then most characters in order of first appearance, and then, starting with Shuri, characters who I plan to include but am not sure where they first appear yet.
I’ve replaced the MCU Spider-Man cast with the TASM cast. However, the MCU Spidey cast still exists on the page as characters in my iteration of No Way Home.
The following OCs have had their faceclaims changed: Leila Whittaker, Jace Barton, Haven Hendrix, Alex Manor, Riley Branson, Petra Stark, Adina Dragozera (see: name changes), Lyra Dash, Luna Lee, Daniel Lee, Sashi Desai (see: name changes), Rory Lennox, Petra Stark, and Galina Kovaleva.
The following canon characters have had their faceclaims changed: Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Vision, Phil Coulson, Barney Barton, Morgan Stark, Danny Rand, Wanda Maximoff, Peter Quill, Quentin Beck, and Daisy Johnson.
New major OCs have been added, including but not limited to: Tasha Petrova, Nina Maximoff, Adam Jameson, Kyra Meachum, Alina Belsky, Rebecca Barnes, and Sibel Bolat.
New major canon characters have been added, including but not limited to: Logan, Kurt Wagner, and Zelda Dubois.
The following major characters have had their names changed:
Adira Dragozera is now Adina Dragozera
Vira Kovaleva is now Ilana Kaspi
Luna and Daniel Li are now Luna and Daniel Lee
Mena Bashara is now Sashi Desai
The following characters have been removed for story-related reasons. (I hope to include them in the Multiverse Saga as characters who exist in different timelines.): Anya Maximoff, Jessamine Rogers, Caleb Rogers, Alina Lokisdottir, Allen Slater, Tori Slater, Kiran
