oc compatibility: the one and only ALERI--guarded and brisk, it takes a long time for her to open up to people, and she tends not to be receptive of most types of flirting, even things most people would consider to be obvious. she tends to only respect bluntly honest people because people that beat around the bush with her usually make her think they're walking on eggshells, and she hates that--she's very ride-or-die once she trusts people, though, and she'd do anything for people she loves

Okay, so I thought I knew what I was going to say for this, but then I thought about it more and I’m actually going to say Baz??Like…it’d have to be under very AU circumstances, but in terms of general compatibility, definitely Baz. He’s very honest and direct (the subtlety of a brick tbh), and he’ll also go to any lengths for his loved ones. He’s all about action and elaborate solutions, and he enthusiastically throws himself into everything he takes on 100%. He can be abrupt and a little selfish at times, and he has a very black and white way of looking at the world, but underneath it all he really has good heart and has never in his life knowingly hurt anyone he cares about.

(Alternatively, I was gonna say Iona or Korrina. But ultimately I think Iona’d be too passive and miss her window as far as having a shot with Aleri. And I think Korrina’s too immature haha, and Aleri’d probably see her more as a little sister)
