Sonic IDW issue 71 is so fricking good. So darn good. Holy fricks I cannot wait to get the volumes that collect all of this arc. It's the best one yet!

Went in to read Sonic IDW 68, expecting great brotherly bonds.

Came out of reading it, getting what I wanted.

I am very satisfied with issue 68 ❤️ A great jumping point to the comic I'd say, as you don't need to know about the past issues to read it. And it's been a while since comic had any "let's find chaos emerald" plot going so, big plus for that! Art was gorgeus too, definitely the best Evan Stanley has ever provided, and I'm a huge fan of her style! She do be improving issue by issue. Her Tails art used to look odd, now he looked on-model every panel! That is great, great, great! Sonic also looked veeeeeeery good.

A shame that there's no teasers for issue 69 and onwards, but I'll be happy to read Fang mini-series all the same.

Sooo, I read Fang The Hunter issue 4.

Since it confirmed itself as being a prequel to Superstars and has warp topaz in his posession as his vehicle's powerup, doesn't this basically mean all of idw is absolutely, undeniably, canon to games. Which is something that's been said afaik but people would still deny, and tbf it could probably still be explained as another take on warp topaz, but I'm inclined to believe that, since this is a prequel comic to Superstars, and it's IDW Sonic classic story as well, then it's the same Warp Topaz that ended up in Starline's possession. How thou... And will Frontiers ever get referenced in IDW in turn, hmmm.

Idk, reading the issue left me with lots of thoughts in my head 🤔

Aaaah the way Whisper trusts Silver to well just feels so nice to see. I love their dynamic really. Same with Blaze and Sonic, they really are counterparts of dimensions.

Also remember when IDW Sonic had a mandate that prevented naming locations or something? We're finally seeing old places like Spagonia again now, I love that!

Read Sonic IDW#67.

I knew there was zero chance of Surge and Kit actually wanting to become part of the good guys :DDD It was very explicitly said that they're not gonna be redeemed like, ever. Or forseeable future. So seeing them infiltrate the Restoration under the guise of Sonic's own words is like... yeh. It fits. It's exactly how I pictured it and oh man the issue's art is super good, and the banters and all. And I got my Silver Blaze and SonAmy moment skjsafkfhsfsfjsfh. Thou I do see good fuel for the SurgeAmy shippers too.

I think there's one more issue of main series til it goes on a small break to give room to the Fang the Hunter mini-series, so, I wonder how long this background-arc will be.

Just read Amy's 30th Anniversary comic and my gosh was it a treat!

Amy was written so wonderfully, I love the tarot card lore having been brought back for her for good, and I like that this was truly her protagonist story. Sonic fricking got captured LOL. Love how these classic anniversary comics are done, ah.

I hope this will get added to some physical book I can buy because I don't think Tails 30th had one? At least I never found one lol.

Finally caught up with Fang IDW issues!

I saw people speculate the warp topaz being involved in this comic and whaddya know, they were right. Guess this is how we know how it got to the place Starline finds it in? Curious... one more Fang issue left and then it's Riders Arc time YAHOO!!

Discussing spoilers on latest Sonic IDW comics issue 30!

The issue was quite excellent, considering how Sonic wasn’t in the issue at all, not counting the final page where my theory got confirmed: he got knocked to Blaze’s world! YES! That means he’s not completely lost and the firery Sonic in issue 32′s cover is because of Sol Emeralds, maybe? Or is it Blaze, Yardley apparently tried to say it may not be Sonic but I think he’s trying to trick lol

Anyway, real excited to see how this story unfolds, kinda interesting the Deadly Six will seem to remain in the villain cast. Sega really loves them huh?

Gosh I really hope Sonic gets to rest after the epilogue for Metal Virus Saga is over... man, he needs to REST!
