So.... found a surprise in the forest today. We first planted Kiwanos 5 years ago and haven’t planted since yet they are still reseeding themselves and thriving. Did I mention that food forests are self sustaining? No driving to the supermarket, no lines, and pretty much no effort once the forest is established. It truly makes me wonder why this is taking so long to catch on. Was just speaking to @peacefultravelers about the one adult in the neighborhood who is actually motivated to try new things and out of nowhere, he walks in with a box of Kiwanos that he just harvested from seeds that I shared with him last year. This definitely put s smile on my face.
