He's a listener. Aether would quite happily sit and listen to someone talk to him for hours on end about something they are interested in, a project they are working on, something they are fascinated about. He'd listen for hours if they needed, only occasionally nudging a glass of water in their direction if he thinks they are sounding a little raspy. He loves seeing people light up with passion about the things they are interested in or shoulders slump as the weight is finally removed. That makes him happy, to know that he could be the ear to hear their stories, to learn a little more about them.

Ningguang is a fan of board games, and loves nothing more than to learn ones from her own nation, and those of other nations too. Her particular favourites are usually strategy-based games, ones that allow her to stretch her capacity for planning and dealing with altering factors. Those are the best types and she will play them until she has mastered them.

Sometimes at night, Bennett is haunted by dreams of a distant land, one he cannot name, but feels like home. He does not know where it is and the images are all hazy, but there are fragments of things he sees. He writes them all down in a notebook that he never tells anyone about because he doesn't want anyone to worry, and covers his exhaustion the next day with a wider smile.

Just a little Abyss!Aether thought, but I like to think he still wanders Teyvat (and thus has far more opportunity to walk into other characters). Sometimes he needs to get away from those he is working with and so he slips away and takes a journey, making use of his ability to form portals to wander where his whims take him. He's silent as he wanders, like a ghost, there then gone, often appearing for the shortest times, his footsteps almost silent.

There are times when he revisits people that have drawn interest and locations he knows Lumine to have been. Whatever he does, however, he never lingers long. It would not do to get too attached to a place, when he has a goal to achieve.
