If I don't let myself stim or I'm in an environment where stimming is more difficult (like work meetings!) I can get overwhelmed very quickly. For me it often manifests in the inability to focus and involuntary twitching…

While it's true that for some people, (certain) stims are an easy way to observe distress, I think there needs to be more awareness in allistic people that a lot of autistic people just stim for the sake of it, simply because were understimulated and / or we just dont control our bodies movements.
I've been repeatedly asked if I'm fine by so called mental health professionals for rocking etc, who know I'm autistic. The immediate assumption is this is a sign of distress instead of my natural body language / movement. Less assuming, when you know someone and their stims well you might be able to tell that x stim means x emotion or situation, but for the rest of us, just maybe, dont? It's also just a bunch of stigma surrounding certain stims, because if I had been tapping my fingers etc i wouldn't have been assumed in distress. It's not my fault my body likes to rock.

Orbi Loops has always been a small project of mine tucked away in the corner of my Etsy shop where nobody browses, but lately l've seen reviews come in saying, "This is the best fidget tool I have ever used!", and "Tickles my brain like no other stim has before!"
Got me thinking, hmm maybe people actually do enjoy it...
Long story short, I was trying to find ways to use up the thousands of extra beads I have from my Fidget Bloom fidget bracelets. I reflected deeply on what I love about sensory toys and determined that they are: satisfying audible sound, tactile/haptic, and very importantly, continuous motion.
I developed Orbi-Loops as kind of like a rattle toy for teens and adults. We all played with some form of rattle toys when we were infants, why stop?
If you like fidget toys, or use stim tools in your everyday life, I encourage you to check out my handmade Orbi-Loops and browse the hundreds of reviews I received from people who've shared their experience. If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask. :)

Okay, so I might have another mental condition (I already have ADHD, autism, anxiety, etc.) although this one isn’t really a problem. I can’t remember the actual name of the condition but I saw people in videos talking about its existence a few weeks ago. To simply explain how it works: Some people can create detailed stories inside the mind to such an intensity, that they feel it on an emotional level (As if it actually happened, though we know it didn’t). Eg. I create a long story in my head while stimming that involves someone getting hurt, I start crying because I feel like I’m actually there, in that moment. Completely fabricated stories, completely real feelings! My stories last about 20+ minutes (Because that’s my typical stimming/running duration). The interesting thing is that people often do this because of social isolation or otherwise social interaction deprivation (Feeling loneliness and having nobody to interact with for a while). People do it to try and make up for their lack of social interaction, it’s like replacing real emotional communication (Hanging out with a friend for example) with fake emotional communication (The stories). The only real issue with this is I’m doing this more because I’m often lonely…🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥
