honestly most mangakas have drawn problematic work before, and even during, they became mainstream. id say not to worry about it too much, especially if its not something theyre currently doing. if its something that does bother you, however, id just suggest not directly supporting them (monetarily, at least). i saw the saburo fanart you mentioned and its 100% supposed to be sexual if you wanted another opinion
