Tim: is the only one in the family not gifted with an absolute massive ass, but has found ways to show it off but wearing performer tights, doesn't even wear underwear to most social events to really show the definition, wears nice, form fitting shirts that perfectly show off his lithe body, always has a flirty smile pasted on, hair ruffled just so. Actually managed to get out of the house wearing a maid outfit, but bruce caught him before he entered the main room and gave him his jacket.(tim has never seen his father so afraid and so possessive at a gala)

Steph: wears the sluttiest dress she can find, it is her goal to traumatize high society. Low cut dresses, without backs, thin straps that she has bruce and alfred sew because while she wants to flaunt her body in front of the elite she does not want someone to be able to rip the dress off her easily, once wore a dress that was literally two strips of fabric over her chests and between her legs, that was it. If shes not wearing a dress shes wearing a tasteful one piece that has it in all the right places and bedazzles guests only to be purposefully caught making out with a waiter and then telling a reporter that he was the most appealing out of everyone in the room. Right in the face of twenty high elite rich men. (bruce has never been prouder and jason high fived her)

Cass: is the most modest out of everyone in the family, wears dresses that are nice and subtle and that she can still kick ass in, also wears suits but not that often because then all the boys get pouty because she wears it better than them

Babs: doesn't go as extreme as Steph(especially not when her actual father is attending) but does wear skimpy dresses and suits, learned the proper ways to use her body to get what she wants from dick. Traded outfits with dick at a gala once as a challenge to see who could get more numbers, dick won but only by four people

Damian: (aged up, please, hes a minor) when hes older damian follows in his fathers and siblings footsteps, wearing the proper amount of makeup and mascara to bat his eyelashes just so at people, has perfectly the purr of charm from bruce, wears absolutely flawless outfits at all times, smirks but in a charming way, hair has to be styled properly not just for the sex appeal but also because if its not it could kill someone, also rocks the lean down to get someone staring at both his chest and ass

This does A) help with their cover (although bruce has pointed out that nightwing dresses slutty as well so dick might not want to dress that way as dick grayson but dick promptly turned him down, as did most of society and his other children, because “dick grayson is an icon and his body deserves to be seen”- steph) but also B) helps them protect the people working at Galas, so many times has bruce thrown himself in someones lap and pressed his pecs together to draw their eyes away from the poor server man they were trying to grope, Dick has perfected the art of intercepting people trying to dance with waiters and dancing instead(he once pulled out tim’s pole and started pole dancing so the poor girl could get away) steph is absolutely masterful in her bending down and flipping her hair to draw everyone's eyes to her and not to the girl in the corner who just had her shirt ripped off by a drunk sleazeball (bruce himself had to be held back from beating the man into next week, but steph and cass did it for him)

Anyway this was all for gits and shiggles, hope you enjoyed, this is how i imagine the bats dressing at Gala’s to keep up their dumbass fake personas(there are so many better covers but once bruce decided on it everyone fell into line behind him) i added the girls just for funsies because they deserve dressing like it too and yeah. Take all of it or none of it or some of it idc, just don't take it seriously. 🙃

Softer on the younger kids but will smack a bitch if they act up.

Cant play video games much cause eyes so turns to more physical games that include puzzles.

Likes games with strategy to follow like War tanks, or chess. Is the type to make a DnD game the best cause he makes amazing stories too despite not reading much.

Likes mystery shows too and tries to figure it out before the answer is revealed, could go on rants about why. Gets it right 11/10 times.

If Leviathan wasnt his biological dad, people would believe he was Satan's kid.

Doesnt like cats tho.

Quinn (4th Born- 2nd Triplet) (He/they/doesnt care) (21)

Asmo just thought Quinn was a pretty name so picked it lol.

Also a nice balance between human/demon. Tho his wings stay out constantly.

Very much vibes from that yellow bird in Rio.

Laid back personality but is an outgoing dude.

Also very protective of their siblings, and will not hesitate to cut a bitch.

Isnt as flamboyant as Asmo but does have a just as great fashion sense.

Has a hard time dating as people automatically assume hes just like Asmo so will try to date him for that reason only.

Love his dad but hates the reputation he gets because of being said son.

So he resorts to just sticking to his siblings or the few friends he trusts.

Besides MC, is the second most popular face to pop up on Asmo's Devilgram

Fucking adores axolotls for no particular reason, just loves them to no end which Asmo makes sure to get many axolotl themed plushes, shirts, etc. for him.

Another balance between human/demon, maybe a tad more on the demon side.

Tho, also has "mutations" like very enhanced hearing.

Bookworm to the max

Loves reading dramas and fantasies, but seems to enjoy multiseries more than stand alone.

Very quiet and shy kid of the group.

Sometimes cant even talk so signs instead because earaches or headaches.

Likes cats but perfers reptiles more.

Has a small turtle in her room from the human realm, set it up beside her bed and everything. Their name is Casey after one of her favorite human novels she read.

But despite all this, isnt called the daughter of wrath just for nothing beside biology reasons.

Is like Satan 2.0 when pissed, she wont yell or scream but you can just tell from the drop of room temperature and the subtle tilt of her head.

Her eyes glow an electric green when shes pissed.

Had more anger issues when younger, but cause Satan knew how to handle his better now, taught her how to aswell.

Satan is probably the main one to understand her issues with such a problem, despite being more mellowed out now that shes older.

Is definitely a cryer when really angry tho.

Ryder(6th Born) (1st twin)- 19

Ngl, everyone was surprised that they had twins. Including Belphie himself.

But then again, they did have triplets before them so....eh?

Ryder is a tad more human than demon, but still powerful enough to have his own demon form like his older siblings.

His tail is seen smaller than Belphie's, and a bit thinner too.

The sloth genes affact him only so much, making him more likely just want to procrastinate then outright not do anything.

He honestly enjoys the human world more than Devildom, mainly cause everything is less..hectic per say.

Hes the type of brother/older friend that will cover for ya if you have to hide something but will subtly suggest how to fix whatever their doing.

Like one time Quinn came home slightly tipsy and past curfew, and he snuck them into his room. Though he scolded them in the morning, he covered for Quinn at breakfast, saying they ate too much sugar last night, thats why hes queasy and has a headache.

Quinn did fix that habit up quick after Ryder threatened to leave him on his own next time it happened.

Calls everyone bro or dude, no matter their gender.

Gen z vibes too in most areas.

Has a fixation with cow bells for some reason, likes the noise is all he can say.

If he were told what Belphie did to their mom/human parent way before they were born, he says "Cowabummer" while screaming inside.

River(7th born-2nd twin)(they/them)-19

How is this Belphie's kid?

Too hyper, tad crazy

Probably has ADHD, who knows.

While Ryder is the slightly responsible twin, their the reason why Ryder needs to be said twin.

Their just about the same range of human/demon as Ryder, can have a demon form, but only uses it to fuck with people than to actually be scary with it.

They may have alot of power, but their personality alone can kill people.

Is the type of kid to crawl on the ceiling when they were 2.

Is also the type to hop outta window to get to the lower floor faster. Thank Belphie for their demon powers otherwise we'd have another Lillith situation.

Has scared even Lucifer at one point, has made him yelp out of surprise. Will not go on how, no matter how much Papa Satan and Belphie ask them. Just has a toothy grin when they ask.

When calm, is actually a pretty chill dude. They like odd patterns and get fixated on the most random things.

MC gave them one of those sand timers that you flip to restart and when she came down to tell them food was done about 2 hours later, she found them sitting on the table, holding it while watching the sand go down. They use it now to relax and focus on when overstimultated or just having too much of a fuzzy head.

Has spent nearly a how week with Leviathan because they got hooked on one anime with him. Now has frequent solo movie nights with him cause.

Literally had to have someone (Rhomb) explain to them what the LGBTQ+ letters meant. Legit thought it was just new alphabet pattern, was still happy to find out what it all means.

If you told them what Belphie did to their mom before they were born, they'd think it as a joke. Dont tell them otherwise or they will cry.

Frankie(8th Born)(She/her)-16

Everyone thought that she would be the biggest child when MC was pregnant with her, since y'know, it was confirmed Beel's kid.

Yeah, she came out small. Like scary small for a baby.

It was then everyone knew she would be the most human. Has a little demon in her, but clearly not enough to have a demon form nor mark.

Lucifer's wallet cried in relief.

She does eat a good bit more than the average human but overall, nothing compared to Beel.

She does adore sweets to the max, especially gummies. Give her some and she'll love you forever.

Sweetest little sunshine in the world, everyone adores her. If they dont, then they will soon.

Shes like Mirabel in encanto, kinda wishes she had more demon powers but is still overall happy with who she is.

When her a Beel are with each other- OH MY DIAVOLO, THE CAVITIES PEOPLE GET- TOO DAMN SWEET AND PURE

Like big papa Beel and his sweet little girl all smiley and pure. Best father-daughter relationship out of all the siblings and fathers.

Shes kinda like pinkie pie from MLP but like more hyper as fuck. Can and will speak so fast when excited that it just comes out as squeaks at that point.

Since her more human side, shes more likely to stay in human world when their mom is on Buisness there, so she has alot of human friends.

Shes in gymnastics, which definitely helps keep her figure more smaller despite all the sweets she eats. Does work out with Beel too.

Hobie loves baking and has always wanted to bake with family (someone like a parent, a grandparent, or a sibling) after hearing people around him talk about baking/cooking with their family. Seeing as Hobie didn't have any family he could bake with he gave up on the idea but he never stopped wanting it

Fast forward years later he meets miles and they start dating. Hobie meets his parents and at first is nervous and a bit scared, after all these are the parents of his boyfriend, these are the people miles went against the whole spider society for, these are people important to miles, and Hobie didn't know what he'd do if they didn't like him

Hobie is pleasantly surprised when miles parents adore him. He pulls at Miles dads heartstrings with how much he resembles his brother and he just can't dislike him, especially since he sees how absolutely in love he is with miles

Mrs. Morales is no different, she immediately loves Hobie and how respectful he is towards her and her son and clearly sees the love and adoration Hobie has for miles

Slowly Hobie starts to relax around hobies parents and isn't on edge all the time when they're around. One day when Hobie comes to visit miles he's isn't home, it's only his mom.

Hobie gets told miles won't be long and he can hang out with her while he waits. Miles does in fact take a long time to come back. Nearly an hour later Mrs Morales asks Hobie to help her with baking something for dessert just so they have something to do

Hobie is literally vibrating with joy as he makes his way around the little kitchen getting everything he's asked to get and mixing what he's told to mix. When their creation comes out the oven and Mrs Morales gives him a piece to try Hobie cries

Mrs Morales chooses not to bring it up and hobies glad, he just wants to enjoy the moment without having to explain how much this means to him

Since that day Mrs Morales is always asking for hobies help in the kitchen and he couldn't be happier

When miles and his parents invited Hobie to the family reunion because they told him he's family now, Hobie didn't know what to expect

He was nervous all over again like when he first met miles parents, so nervous he was actually early to the reunion and not late like he usually is to big events

To his surprise though, he isn't the first one there. When he climbs through miles window he immediately hears the laughing of multiple people in the kitchen, for a second he considered leaving but his spider sense had gone off telling him that Miles was here, and if miles was here he knew miles knew he was here

Hobie spent a few minutes mentally preparing himself to meet some more of miles family. But even after all his preparation he did not feel nearly prepared enough when he walked out of miles room and all eyes were on him

After the initial shock of Hobie coming through miles room everyone got along great with Hobie and they insisted Hobie help in the kitchen (miles and his mom may have told them how much it would mean to him)

Hobie feels that buzz of joy he did when he was first asked by Mrs Morales to help in the kitchen. This time he can say with certainty he couldn't be happier

He's asked by miles aunts to help decorate cakes and they praise him for his skill

He's asked by miles older cousins to help mix some things together and they make small talk and they tell embarrassing stories of miles childhood

He's asked to help take things out the oven and he's fawned over when he accidentally burns himself even when he insists he's fine

By the time they're done cooking and the reunion officially starts Hobie is positively glowing

His clothes are a bit messy and he's sweaty from spending so much time by the oven and stove with so many people in close proximity and his eyes are a bit red from cutting onions (and crying tears of joy) but it's the best party he's ever been to

And since then he's never had to bake alone, he knows he has his large family and at least one person is going to be happy to bake or cook with him

Not to get too distracted but I recently got this FANTASTIC idea for how to close out Book 3 of BB!DOTC on a bittersweet note, involving The First Boarhunt and Clear Sky being delightfully devious as always. Maybe it would be cool to put that phrase there... anyway.

She had three siblings total, Lionheart, Mistleclaw, and Snowkit. It's really difficult being the last one; family was extremely important to her.

Mistleclaw wasn't even a year out of apprenticeship; you're really considered an ADULT adult after being on your own for a year. Losing her was like losing a sibling who's college-aged. That was to the plague, before Firestar's arrival.

Smallear was openly the father of all four of them, but Goldenflower hesitates to call him Ba. Him and Speckletail had a really toxic on-again off-again thing.

Smallear was closest to Mistleclaw, who coincidentally looked the most like him. Goldenflower is like... "yeah thats what i expected of him, that fish-eared loser"

She's biased in favor of her mother though. Lionheart was more chill with Smallear; not CLOSE but, neutral-positive.

It wasn't entirely Smallear's fault that the relationship kept falling apart though, to be clear. I use toxic in this use very much on purpose, it wasn't abuse, they really cannot get along.

So when Goldenflower eventually picked a mate, she REALLY just wanted a stable lifepartner that would not be like that.

I would describe her relationship with Tigerclaw more in the terms of an "arrangement." Fishing for romantic information from her is VERY funny because she just like. Doesn't "get" romance.

Brambleclaw: "Mom... what did you... like about dad?"

On Tigerclaw's end, it was mutual. They both liked each other as trusted Clanmates. He was attracted to her and reciprocated when she proposed a mateship, but I don't think he ever really got over Spottedleaf romantically.

Plus, getting into this family was a smart political move. Having Speckletail's approval was VERY useful.

I might stick Goldenflower as Head of Hunting through TNP to early Po3, until she trains a successor, since there's no rush. I have an allegiance list floating around but I can't remember off the top of my head if she's where she should be

She's actually super disappointed in Tawnypelt for her choice. I don't think they ever reconcile this, they're both too proud

So she's kinda iffy on that alliance with ShadowClan. Not to the point of spite, but she does easily believe stereotypes about them.

Both Golfy and Tawnp miss each other a lot, but again. Neither one is going to apologize to the other or say the other was even slightly correct.

And Golfy wouldn't accept it if Tawnp even did. She made her choice. They're in different Clans now. She chose her father, who killed Swiftpaw and Lionheart.

And for that, Golfy will not forgive her.

If they ended up in a battle, neither would hold back. They both know this.

I'm really fond of her. She really is Speckletail's daughter and the whole family has a special flavor of pain and pride.

out of those, his brother and oldest sister are blood relatives. his brother is a few years older and they have a... complicated relationship. his sister is his (younger) twin

he has a pretty bad case of conduct disorder and has been compared to enoshima on many occasions because of it

his sisters have no idea, his twin kinda realized as she got older, his brother is 100% aware

rantaro's dad divorced his mom when he was about nineish, took his sister in the custody battle, but the dad fought for the two boys in the hopes that one of them would amount to SOMEthing

this is hyperspecific but. the "-taro" suffix is usualy reserved for the oldest son, so the reason rantaro is named that was because his brother ALREADY didnt live up to expectations, so his father saw rantaro as a replacement and named him accordingly

rantaro's talent came about because he has conduct disorder- the chronic boredom is why he travels so much in the first place, and the risk taking behavior commonly associated w cd is why he gets into so many Situations that make for good headlines

he's banned from morocco because he got caught graverobbing. everything he took had to be given back, except for ONE thing he got away with. he keeps it in his capsule necklace

yes he does drugs but he managed his habits well until shortly before his appearence in danganronpa 52, where he started getting worse cravings

rantaro used to have a mix of clear headed travels that are more backpacking or in rural areas or mountain climbing, AND stints in big cities where hed do some drugs and gamble

a thing he likes to do is get real messed up on drugs, black out, then play some irl geoguesser when he wakes up in some random ass location

this is why he didnt seem too concerned when he woke up in v3; he's used to just waking up in odd places and not remembering how he got there

mmmmost people with conduct disorder dont actually go on to develop aspd, which you can only be diagnosed with once you turn 18. rantaro is in the minority yaay #lostcause (that is, if he'd lived to 18)

he near-exclusively calls himself "a sociopath" because he got tired of explaining that thats not a diagnosis anymore and you cant even get the renamed diagnosis till youre eighteen and he'll Totally Be Fine By Then He Promises and that he has something else entirely, because people kinda didnt care much so he just stopped explaining

he still very much wants to find his sisters but even when he DOES find them, he's always too nervous to approach them because he feels like they would maybe not like a baby sociopath as a brother

he likes big open spaces like the ocean or the great plains; he finds it a nice reminder of how HUGE the world truly is and how, despite all he's done, he's only experienced a fraction of it. it makes him excited for his next adventure

he loves his sisters, but it's in a kind of... detached way? its hard to explain.

his relationship with his brother is even harder to explain- they fight a LOT but they're kind of the only family each of them has, but they're still pretty distant with each other (a lot of it is gonna be in fics im doing so i lowk dont wanna spoil it aaaaaaall~)

rantaro has always wanted to fall in love, but it hasn't happened yet

he hasn't fooled around with anyone, he's saving himself as it were for the person he falls in love with. he used to tell people this, but stopped after like 95% of the responses were variations on how that was such a surprising sentimentality for Someone Like Him

he's well aware that people see him as a sickopath first and a person second, growing up in a post-tragedy world with the bad luck of having the same mental illness as the person who caused the whole thing. this is a contributing factor in why he's so distrustful of other people

other factors include seeing atrocities, corruption, et cetera traveling around, AND the abuse he faced growing up and how his father is continuing to get away with it due to his wealth

even so, rantaro absolutely has used his wealth to stay out of prison. it sounds hypocritical but rantaro is a mentally ill 14 year old whom nobody really knows how to (or wants) to help in a way that actually is respectful of him instead of treating him like a nuke that needs to be disarmed, and his father is an adult man who uses his wealth to take advantage of poor women to fuck their daughters. so its a bit of a different situation i think

They don't have parents (I imagine them having risky jobs like rescue workers. what if one job went wrong?) Mom was a firefighter, dad was an EMT.

Runi and Dizzy has seperation anxiety purely because of that (Runi manages it better than Dizzy though) Zoey and Sparky was pretty young so they dont really know

Their parents knew Grand Albert and Poppa Wheels. Also Paul too I think

At first Dizzy was kind of against to becoming a rescue worker (for all of them) because what if the same thing happens again?? But she wanted to become one. Then later she changed her mind.

Anyway enough with the angsty stuff

For looks, Dizzy and Zoey took up after their dad. Runi and Sparky took up after their mom

Runi is aroace and Dizzy is bi bc i said so. Runi is he/they bc i also said so

ALL of them have extreme sweet tooth. they would eat pure sugar. They also love spicy stuff (Zoey is really good at making spicy burritos)

(during his firefighter training) Runi got a scratch all across his mouth (ty @/worldairportwonders 's doodle for the insp) and it damaged their vocal system badly. They had to cover his mouth during that time for the treatment, why not spice it up with a cool looking mask? Thats where his mask comes from. Although their voice is now a little raspy.

Zoey is really interested towards biology. She collects dead bugs, plants, etc. to cut them up. On the other hand, Sparky doesnt really like them so Zoey sometimes annoys him with it

Runi loves chemistry, mainly fire interests him. They watch lot of vids about fire experiments, chemical reactions, etc. He never tries anything with fire though (they also watch Curie's experiments)

All of them likes drawing in some way.

Runi left first to become a firefighter. He always dreamed about becoming one

Dizzy left next, to join SW. hard for her at first but after seeing Runi she did it

Zoey left next to become a doctor

Sparky stayed at their house, but he got a hose installed etc etc. there

Then Zoey and Sparky both joined SW :] Runi didnt though, but years later he joined the new generation team

About their house, they had a base-like house on a mountain (like Dizzy's base in season 2) It's not used as a living space now since all of them left but they still go there for reunions etc.

Runi and Zoey are good with cooking, Dizzy and Sparky are good with baking

Whenever they bring someone they're dating each of the family member has different reactions. Runi is chill, Dizzy stares at them constantly, Sparky is nice but also wary, Zoey will try to test them.

When they play Splatoon (they play it. actually majority of them play it. because i said so) Dizzy mains Dynamo, Zoey mains Glooga Dualies, Sparky mains Hydra, Runi mains Range Blaster. These mfs mastered slow weapons and theyre the best defenders

what’s 3’s relationship with their family like?

For context, this is their familial background! A very brief summary of it, anyway.

For the longest time, they struggled to understand why they were treated the way they were. Did they not...do enough? Are they not enough? If they did everything they were asked to do, will they finally be seen, be heard, be held and loved?

With their direct relatives, they put on a mask. This is where they learned to be stoic, learning from a young age that they should hide away who they truly are. Or else be ripped to shreds emotionally. The lesson is drummed into them by their mother especially, who did this out of some twisted sense of care. If theyre not the figure of a perfect princess, theyre verbally torn apart for it. It doesnt help either that she keeps making comments abt their worth in almost anything they do. ("Chin up, Kaori. The ground is not more interesting than me, is it?" "Wrap those tentacles higher up your head. You look like a birds nest." "What did you do to your robes! They look like filthy rags!" When there even is as much as a SINGLE crease on it. "Maybe you should cut back on the shrimps, dearest." After they outgrow their mother's favorite robes she made for them.) She keeps saying shes doing all this for their sake, but its clear that she just wants to parade them around, something to display, something to gawk at. Be seen, not heard.

With their dad...oh, thats a more complicated issue. Hes relatively tender, but still strict to an unhealthy degree. Hed berate them, criticize them, or (unfairly) thrash them in (stupidly early) combat training then go all tender, saying that he loves them, and doesnt want them to get hurt. He usually holds them after the painful words, offering a place of safety in a cutthroat world. But its not...stable. it never is. He can so quickly turn around, esp when the mother is involved. He never protects them against her. He always sides with her, tells them to simply do what she says and they'll stay out of trouble.

Theres a reason theyre much closer to their distant relatives. Who, are warm and loving and kind to them. They see them on big events, or during retreats to more distant estates. They hid them away from their direct relatives during the last years of their stay in that county. They learned with them, what love looks like, what it should be.

They were the ones who told Kaori -- now Tanara -- to escape. To run to Inkopolis, to live a new life there. They helped them escape, and for years they havent returned home.

They miss home. Their real home. But fearing capture, and their distant relatives getting in trouble...they stay away.

(I actually wrote some stuff abt their dad and their complicated feelings towards him, but thatll probably be better in a separate post. Their half-siblings arrive after ALL that stuff. And speaking of, they adore their half-sibs! They are so proud of them, and are so happy to be around them. They want to see them grow and make waves in the world.)

“Hello, Zuzu,”she greeted. Then she pushed past him.

She showed up at his door at 4 in the morning with a red duffel bag over her shoulder and a black metal baseball bat with lightning decals in her left hand.

Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun. But her bangs. They were completely crooked and angled and an utter mess.

She had bright red headphones around her neck and Zuko could her some shitty metal music playing.

And all Zuko could think was what the fuck.

Azula collapsed onto his couch, dropping her belongings on the coffee table, propping her feet up on the armrest, and securing her headphones over her ears. She closed her eyes.

Zuko closed the door and took a deep breath.

“Hello, Azula. Why are you here? In my house. With me. Instead of… an insane asylum,” he questioned.

She didn’t respond, only nodded her head to the music filling her ears.

He poked her.

"What's that baby?" His mother asks while washing the dishes. The others are asleep, they're alone now. His dad is sleeping on the couch, but his presence isn't really here. Finnick looks down at his hand, the turquoise ribbon still on his hand. The girl was weird. He didn't know her name, he only knew that she doesn't eat a lot, she studies a lot, she swims a lot. She was bragging, he knew it. But he couldn't stand someone like her to be in pain. If she was going to be perfect she was going to be perfect. He didn't like to have her in a morally grey place in his mind. Bc it added a little reasoning why she was so annoying if she didn't eat. And he wanted to leave the girl on the black side. But the ribbon was cute. That's why he wore it. Not any other reasons. No. It was just cute. Even cuter than her.

"It's just something I found, I think it looks cute." He says while fixing the pillows on the couch. He tries not to wake up his dad. He had fought with his mom today, he didn't know what was it about, he just knew that his older brother was hiding it.

"Where did you find it?" His mom had very strict rules about girls. No dating, no hanging out, no attachment. Why would he need a girlfriend when he had his mom? She knew everything, or at least thats what she told him. Every other girl won't treat him right. His mom told him that his future wife should cook for him, should clean for him, should be like her. He never really felt attracted to have a wife like his mother, he never really wanted to have a traditional wife. He kinda imagined her more carefree than his mother. No strict rules, no limits, no control. They would just be living, cooking will do whoever wants to, cleaning whoever feels like it. He didn't want to only be doted. He wanted to dote back. His friends told him this is stupid, that he's a pick me guy. District 4 is devated in two halfs, the more traditional one, having most people, especially the rich families. And then the more progressive one, more flowy, colourful. They didn't work some nine to fives, they were artists and people who worked their passion and jobs different than fishing, or working in a fish shop, or working in a fish restaurant, or cleaning fish... His parents were on the traditional side, his dad being a fisherman who got in an accident and had an injury so he almost lost ability to work. His mother had never worked in her life, she was a stay at home mom. She raised him and his siblings and did everything to get them into the career academy, even though she didn't really like the woman who runner it. Mags Flanagan, the victor of the 11th hunger games was the definition of the other half of the district: yes, she still was in with the sea stuff. She knew how to make a fish hook out of anything. But she was more of an artsy person. She went for a swim every morning and night naked on the beach at victors village to become one with the sea or some weird shit like this, the rumors told. That inside her house it was all decorated with some pictures from shells. That you can find sand in her curly hair even after she washed it. She was spiritual and people said that she actually believed in some god or gods ( I think Panem is mostly atheist, with minorities who are religious), which from the families with career believes was weird. Finnick thinks it's more weird to worship the Capitol and play their games. His family were more on the mindset of if you can have a higher chance to stay alive, why not. But they weren't rich enough to pay for the academy, so he was the only one from the Odair kids there. He was doing very well in school, especially at combat and swimming. In his previous one the training was only at pe classes, not the main thing. But he still managed to impress and get a scholarship. When he met Mags Flanagan she wasn't who he thought she would be. She was normal. She gave some motherly vines to him, maybe that's why his mom didn't like her. When they were at her office for the scholarship she was gripping his arm. The curly old woman was moveing her brows the whole time. He could see that she was pretty once. She kind of still was. People told rumors about her and he supposed lover. They got into a big fight and stopped talking. That's why she rarely talked now. Bc she was never quiet with him. Some of his father's older coworkers were talking about how their voices could always be heard.

"At uhh... The hallway. Just on the floor, it caught my eye"

"Finnick. I'm not born yesterday. Who is the girl?" Finnick felt her voice become sharp

"I swear, I just found it- "

"Finnick no boy walks around with a ribbon on his hand. Take it off."

"No." He knew what was about to come. It hurts every time. That's why he started keeping secrets from her in the first place.

His moms bottom lip trembled. Her cheeks were red. Her eyes were watery and her voice shaky "Baby... Oh, my baby is growing up so fast... Soon he'll need another woman in his life... He won't want me anymore... Growing up so fast... And I'm just getting old..." He would prefer her to slap him across his face.

"No, no, no, mum... Hey, mom, look at me. I'm not going anywhere. I'll always need you, I'll be here. I'm not going to leave you."

"I wish you can stay a baby forever..." She hugged him. He couldn't breathe, her grip was too thight. But then she'll start talking about how he doesn't want her love, that he's growing up. He didn't know if he wants to grow up. His mom has told him his entire life how much she wishes he stays like that. That kids are innocent, pure, with pink cheeks and pink glasses whom they see the world through. But he didn't want to wear the glasses anymore. Bc they were a cage, not an accessory. He made sure his mom won't find the ribbon and not to wear it around her.

around 2015 i started making fallons hair more strawberry blonde, and I was playing with length off n on for longer before that. We had an au where ashley was her teacher and she accidentally called him dad in class, and in the next au we were like 'he should adopt her. he should find her as a baby, in a dumpster' because we are disrespectful. after that came teen dad ashley, and that's when fallon went fully blonde. over time we played w family dynamics, and nowadays we mostly use them as twins bc the dynamic is impeccable (sometimes they have a darcy and georgiana type gap and relationship, and sometimes ashley is just a couple years older and so bad at being an older brother he ritual sacrifices her to colin's fucked up eldritch cat god. normal sibling fare). fallon got pointier and freckled over time to match ashley, who is a pointy little rat bitch, bc i wanted a family resemblance💖protofallon (circa 2009-2014ish?) was recycled as a design for ellis, my 6ft nightmare twink, in probably 2016? fallons only sibling now is ashley, and addies an only child

many of my ocs personalities have either changed DRASTICALLY since that time OR ive just straight up dropped their asses, and thats primarily bc i was the main target of my bananas bonkers ex's unmanaged borderline obsession and she LOVED to use ocs to control me (very cute and normal behavior). if my ocs did something she didn't like then suddenly she'd be having a hysterical suicidal meltdown and id have to like hold her hand all night instead of sleep (which she only let me get 2-4hrs a night for actual years, so!!) while being told i was the crazy problem person , so like all my ocs had to be on their best caretaking behavior at all times. anyway the physical changes in fallon were the first manifestation of me getting away frm that control, which very first started happening in 2014, and fully took root when polks moved here to scare my evil ex away and thats why fallon now gets to be a mean little blonde girl instead of a docile perfect waifu💖
