On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being Jason level of scummy guy and 10 being the most perfect being ever, where would you place Din's taste in crushes

they are a 10 to him & that is all that matters .

on a more honest / actual hc base he actually does not develop crushes easily . people think he does because his kindness & general friendly behavior gets interpret as flirtatious even though he just likes making people feel good so he compliments them. he has a tendency to fall for people who are viewed as monsters by society ( sometimes literally, he may or may not be a bit of a monster appreciator ) . but because din likes to take his time to get to know people & tends to be rather observant, he starts to fall in love with little details, the things others may not see. basically he hates judging people by how he is told they are by others. he'll form his own opinion & there is a low chance that he could fall for someone while doing so.

Chess head canons time for your Arthuriana muses!! Who are the best and worst players? Who flips the board over as soon as they notice they're losing? Who eats the chess pieces? Who would be the best teacher for others?

din is hands down the best player among the muses. people don't take him serious enough & he plays the role of the silly knight quite convincingly . he also would make for a great teacher .

after years of playing chess arturia has become quite good at it - she does have a mind for strategy but there are still a good bunch of people that can best her ( mainly, she is good at strategy when it comes to real battles, chess can bore her easily if her company can't keep her interest ) . she has on a few occasions used her cape to swipe the board away when playing with kay though - an accident every time as she assures him .

lily has tried so hard & is doing her best to learn but she will eat the pieces ..... it's boring & she has a hard time sitting still.

similarly to arturia his skill with chess comes from practice & time . in contrast to her he really enjoys it & has used it quite a few times for bets against others . a little 'if I win you do ( xxx ) & if you win I do ( xx )"

din often refers to himself as cute & handsome, though mostly as a half-joke. he knows he's pretty but he still feels pretty average - mostly because sure, he's not bad to look at but have you seen the other knights? "imagine if you are a solid 8 but then all your co-workers turn out to be 20 out of 10" - din, probably

i forgot modern din had a few pets he named after the kotr... a golden lab named gawain, a one legged poodle named bedwyr, his cat mordred, kay the german shepherd & a spitz named sir lancelot.
