why i think captain spaceboy has bpd!!

first of all, lets review the symptoms of bpd & explain how he showed symptoms of it!

unstable relationships

imo, sweetheart doesnt seem to be the type to be so attached to somebody. yes, she made capt spaceboy change his name to space boyfriend, but that was probably because she just wanted to feel special. therefore, that meant that the relationship was built on capt spaceboys' obsession with sweetheart & sweethearts want for attention. this is an obviously unstable relationship.

fear of abandonment

according to capt spaceboys' crewmates, he often stays in bed & does nothing when sweetheart wasnt around or he'd get angry very easily, i believe these are symptoms of a bpd episode that was triggered by his fear of sweetheart abandoning him.

mood swings

this is pretty obvious,,,, literally when we finished fighting capt spaceboy his mood completely changed, he became more stable. he has improper memory of what happened & when we tell him he claims that his "other side" mustve been there & apologized. note that a lot of people who go into a bpd episode dont really remember what happened during the episode, so it makes sense for him to not really remember.

impulsive behavior / inappropriate anger

again, i dont think i need to explain. literally fought us & according to his crew he'd yell at them sometimes.

this isnt a symptom but i'd just like to say,,,, spaceboy being depressed when sweetheart left him kinda foreshadows hero yelling at kel tried to get him out of his depressive episode. its rlly a perfect foreshadow, with kel being the one who used the special mixtape, similar to how kel was the one who got hero out of his depressive episode. plus spaceboy suddenly becoming better referring to how hero decided to get better after apologizing to kel for yelling at him,,,,, just a little notice heh!!
