Hey I'm gonna go on a rant:

it's like. insane to me how much in "Front Man" Neal was just straight up lied to so that he could be put directly in danger. Agent Rice fully grills him, criticizing, dehumanizing (you're a tool in my belt, keep your mouth shut) Neal when he first talks to the dad so that she can cover up the fact that Neal almost found out that HE was the demands!!! She then belittled him into submission because if Neal did too much, you know, actual investigating in the case he was brought in on to help investigate, he would've found out that he wasn't actually brought in on good faith. He was brought in to be disposed of!! She brought him to Gless only to be like "See? I have him, he's the goods we can exchange for information." Neal was a living, breathing form of cash in a briefcase.

And then she lies, like almost immediately afterwards, to Neal telling him he's going to go undercover "clubbing." She went to Hughes that morning KNOWING that evening she was going to put Neal on the spit roast. She lied to Hughes, to Peter, to Neal at every step of the way. She heard Neal be like "oh yeah this man wants me dead" and was like yeah that's fine, I'm still completely okay with letting him have you. She picked Neal up from his home knowing fully well that there was a high probability of Neal not coming back (she would've been a fucking idiot to genuinely believe all Wilkes wanted was a face to face) and she didn't say a goddamn word.

Like I'm just so boggled by how orchestrated the betrayal for Neal was. And then she has. the. ever. loving. fucking. audacity. to come up to him at the end and be like "No hard feelings?"

and listen I know this whole rant is about Rice but fucking Peter at the end giving her the pass "In the end we got it done" because the show simply CANNOT allow for this episode to have long lasting repercussions even though it's like. by far the biggest betrayal Neal faces for a good chunk of the show. Peter went HOURSSSSSS not even knowing if Neal was ALIVE what do you MEAN "in the end we got it done" Neal was KIDNAPPED, TASED, BEATEN, NEARLY SHOT, nearly watched someone else get murdered in front of him AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

out of all the episodes that get the consequences pushed under the rug so that the plot can be pushed forward, this is one that hurts me a lot.

At Saphiri, there's a lot of Kingdoms and Sultanates, and a handful of Empires. One of the Kingdoms is called the Caelum Kingdom.

It's a newly established Kingdom, and was once a sizable city without a nation. Built from the foundations of a trading center.

It's a Kingdom formed on an archipelago separated by streams of salt water and fresh water in between their islands. A tight knit community, they thrive in tourism, trading, and textile export. They were honestly on a breakthrough to become an Empire, and it was just a matter of time.

Caelum has been led by the Elara family for generations upon generations. They were the first to discover the island, to establish itself as a city, and a kingdom as they led and oversaw the whole archipelago.

And currently, it's led by Soma Elara, the 3rd born crown prince and now the King of Caelum.

Soma, being the 3rd born, didn't really have that much chance on the throne. That, and his siblings, especially the first born, were smart and all had a chance at taking the throne.

He hated it dearly.

His mother, the second Queen after the previous died, is a greedy woman.

She sees Soma as a tool, and wanted him to succeed the throne.

If not... Let's just say the back of his legs will have more scars decorated on them.

Soma suffered abuse at the hand of his mother who wanted him to catch the attention of the King. And him, conditioned by his abusive upbringing, caught the want for power from his mother.

Ego and Pride. Those two prospects were pummeled into Soma's mind. Nobody can become the King. Only he is worthy of the throne.

So, he became the perfect prince. Nevermind that he orchestrated events in which it would humiliate his siblings. That's irrelevant. What's important is him.

The perfect gentleman with the wits of a genius, he became the crown prince when the selection came.

And, to solidify his place...

His older siblings were pronounced dead due to "freak accidents". One was devoured by sea monsters, the other was torn apart by demons. The younger ones were lucky, they only got to be a bit disabled due to "their own faults at being clumsy".

To not raise suspicion, of course Soma got hurt. Dead almost, but he miraculously recovered! How delightful!

The poor scapegoat is the youngest. And, as she got executed, Soma had a cold look of arrogance on his face.

The Queen?

She's afraid of the monster she created. She wanted a King, not a tyrant.

And, as she trembles when her friends tell her how good of a King her son is, Soma glares at her coldly from the balcony, daring her to speak ill of him.

Years passed, and Soma is now of marriageable age at 25.

His advisers told him to find a Queen, but he refuses to do so.

He's thinks having a Queen would make him look weak in the eyes of people.

So, why get a Queen when he can be an absolute Patriarch?

His Pride cannot allow for a potential weakness.

Not until a certain new person entered the palace as a stableperson...

Soma is welcoming foreign envoys to his palace, in which they would have a inter-country peace talks about a certain Emperor who is wreaking havoc amongst other kingdoms in search of a knight. They said that she was the supposed to be Empress, but fled the Empire.

Even one of the Dukes there, Duke Eros, is here to talk about the man.

As Soma guides the envoys to the palace grand meeting room, a certain servant caught his eyes.

They were frolicking with his horse, who was known to be too stubborn for its own good. Heck, this horse needs coaxing from Soma even just to let him ride on it.

But this stableperson was just... Hugging and petting his horse without any kind of violent reaction.

Honestly, Soma's ego was bruised.

His eyebrows furrowed as he led the envoys to the meeting hall once more.

He needs to know who this person is.

After quite the gruelling three hours of a collective disbelief over the actions of the Emperor Callisto, Soma got out of the meeting room and bid a good day to the envoys. Without any more distractions, he marched to the stables to find the person.

There, he saw you. Brushing the coat of his horse ever so gently and with a hum.

Oh he's annoyed.

Again, how can this pride filled horse just... Let's you be?

"State your name."

Your head, that was hidden due to being on the other side of the horse, popped out of the frame and he lets out a confused look.

You look so... Cute and innocent with those sparkling eyes that held so much affection for the horse in front of you.

"Oh! Your majesty!" You bowed. Even your voice sounds so sweet. "My name is Y/N. I'm not unworthy to meet you but..."

You looked up at him, eyes sparkling once more but now, with affection for him.

Oh?

"But I am so glad to meet you, your majesty."

Your voice held so much affection and love for him.

He cleared his throat, a bit awkward.

Sure, people admired him, but these people always held reverence and respect first. But here you are, projecting your affection like this.

His ego was fed immensly.

"You're bold." Soma smirked, "I like that."

He didn't miss the way your eyes widened subtly. Your face glowed with radiance of happiness that he was so sure he got blinded.

"Oh! Oh my..." You held your blushing cheeks, shy. "Thank you, your majesty... Um Oh..."

You bowed and ran away, fully embarrassed.

Soma, surprised, let his guard down a bit as he laughed gently at your antics.

You were like a deer that was curious, then runs away when get caught.

He liked that.

Immensly.

Yet, what he doesn't know, is that you were smirking as you ran away.

You knew that a prideful man like him wouldn't like a strong independent person.

That would just clash with his personality.

But, what if that person was cute, innocent, shy, friendly... Someone who is easily protect-able. Someone who loves them immensely and is shy about it?

It would inflate his ego wildly seeing this naive person love them without a care.

You're a spy sent by the Emperor Callisto in order to find his darling knight here. And, if you can't find her, you just need to send the Emperor information, so that he can infiltrate the Kingdom and wreck havoc just to lure out the knight.

Honestly, the Emperor scares you. Who's crazy enough to wage countless wars just to find his woman?

Or does he delight in bloodshed and finding his darling is just an excuse?

Who knows, but you knew you have to kill Soma after you extracted enough information from him to start the war inside the Kingdom.

Starting with capturing the heart of the Prideful King.

"Soma!"

You ran to Soma and hugged him tightly. A happy smile on your face with a blush well orchestrated that you know he loves.

Soma smiles and kisses the top of your head before continuing to talk to his Prime Minister.

In those two months that you were here, you painstakingly captured Soma in your hands. Continuing to act as the naive person who doesn't know noble etiquette, you were a breath of fresh air in the uptight palace.

The servants love you, the other nobles look longingly your way, wanting to act as carefree as you.

And Soma? He's head over heels for you.

Yet, in his mind, you were the one in love. Not him. He loves having you by his arms, with you just loving him affectionately and being there to relieve his stress.

You were promoted to consort immediately once you confessed to him fully, and was now a precious being inside the Kingdom.

After all, this King who doesn't want marriage, with ego so high people swore it was through the heavens, suddenly had a consort on their way to become his royal partner.

Soma gave you everything. He loves giving you gifts, asserting dominance as he spoils you greatly.

And, as his reward, you would pour your affection to him while asking about information that he willingly gave.

After all, the foolish king still thinks you won't betray him.

You were only a stableperson, who in their right mind would betray him? Someone who's such a catch?

Sure, he's really handsome. People were lining left and right for his hand in marriage after all. And he spoils you greatly. You won't betray him. He knows it.

But, why are you straddling his lap now, in the middle of the knight, with a knife raised up high?

You were staring at him so coldly, he swore you are a different person.

Anguish, that's what Soma felt first.

He wanted to ask you why, but anger immediately filled him as you swung the knife down.

You're fast, but not fast enough.

He grabbed your hand and gripped it hard, making you seethe and drop the knife hilt down on the bed.

"WHY?!" He screamed, trying to clutch your body to submission. "HOW DARE YOU BETRAY ME!"

You gritted your teeth and tried to thrash away from his hold, not saying anything.

When he got you pinned down on the bed, he grabbed your chin and forced you to look at him.

"Who sent you." He chillingly said that you gulped and shakily answered.

"Emperor Callisto."

Soma stopped, eyes darkened to a degree.

Yet, the words that came out of his mouth was surprising for you.

"So, you're doing this for a man other than me?"

He threw his head back, laughing wildly as his pride got pummeled fully.

First, you made him dance on your palm. Make him spill information and secrets. Let him spoil you greatly. Let you love him freely! And this is how you pay him? A betrayal for another man?

You're such a greedy fucker.

"Oh, cuz he's an Emperor, isn't he?" He spat out, eyes wide with extreme jealousy and unbridled rage. His squeeze on your waist was hurting you immensely. "And i'm not? Is this it? Do you spread your legs to men of higher status huh?"

Your heart dropped when you saw him take off his dress shirt, displaying his carved out muscles that once brought you lust, but now it brought you fear.

Soma gripped your shirt, eyes dead with no light. His mouth a thin light as he captured your lips in a frenzied kiss.

He's no one with pride now. His ego gone.

The betrayal made him crazy as you made him crazy for you.

Placing a palm on your abdomen, he smirks. An evil intent on his eye.

"I'm gonna fuck/breed you into submission." He growls out, grinding his hips against yours. "I'm gonna make you forget the Emperor. I only want you to only live for me, sing and dance for me, I want you to only love me."

And as he relishes in the fear in your eyes, he smirks.

You're his.

And he will break you into being his if you try to get out of his clutches at all.

In all honesty, you never really knew the feeling of being deeply loved by someone. You never consider yourself as worthy and deserving of such a special treatment.

That changes when you meet Kento Nanami, of course. It started when you got transferred to Jujutsu High to try improving yourself both academically and wanting to become a jujutsu sorcerer yourself; even when your mother was against it at first, but eventually supporting your decisions.

You don't know how, but it has gotten you two in a very special relationship as right now too.

Nanami surely may appear as a man of a few words, yet he still makes a clear effort for you. He would always, and always, try his best to be there for you. It's one of his traits that you adored so much.

But despite everything, the insecurities and doubt still existed within you; not really knowing on how to possibly get rid of such feelings. You couldn't help yourself, which causes your mind to sometimes make you anxious, and rethinking the same thought over and over again.

Today is just one of those days, and you don't have the courage to confide your problems to him-- afraid of burdening him with your mere thoughts. So, you decided to just try to ease your mind by settling yourself on the couch after turning the TV on, since it's the weekends after all.

And of course, while your eyes are on the TV, you aren't focusing a word from it at all.

Though, not too long after, the sounds of feet approaching can be heard, yet you didn't even spare any glance at the source of sound because you fully know on who it is, taking a seat next to you on the available space of the couch. One of his hands reached for your shoulder and give it a comforting squeeze.

He doesn't even need to ask much judging by your facial expressions alone. He knows; he knows that something is bothering you. The slight slump of your shoulders has given it more away too.

"Did anything happen?"

Nanami tries to ask in a very delicate manner, yet understanding if you're not ready to tell him about it. The concern is evident at this point, and it made you feel guilty in a way.

"No, nothing happened," you shake your head with your gaze lowering. "It's just one of those days-- or just me, I guess."

You genuinely didn't know on how to talk to him regarding matters as such. But the thought of potentially ignoring him and pretending that you're alright makes it pretty worse than it actually is.

But of course, it wasn't enough to convince him, clearly knowing that there's something that you're hiding on. Upon noticing on how you didn't even look at him, Nanami gently uses his fingers; tipping your chin up so that you're facing him now.

"Are you sure?" It might seem a simple question; meant to be asked by anyone when one doesn't believe the other, but this one has a hint of genuine care and concern lacing his voice. He doesn't believe you.

Those three words are enough to make you completely go silent for a solid few minutes, before finally giving in, knowing that he's not going to give up on the matter.

"I mean it. It's just-- my thoughts, they're quite a mess right now, and I don't even know what to actually say.."

"Was it because of the exam?"

"Well, that's a part of it." You chuckled lightly, but your inner turmoil hasn't even subsided yet. "It's kinda ridiculous though.."

"I don't care if it seems ridiculous or not," Nanami still maintains his voice in a soft way, never intending to raise his voice or even using any harsh words. "If anything, I would be glad to listen to any of your problems."

Even if it's a minor thing from the past or so, he would always lend you an ear whenever you needed to talk to him.

You gradually released your breath that you didn't realize you've been holding on, adjusting your posture a bit before finally deciding to answer him.

"You know, sometimes.. I can't help but to wonder; am I a good lover to you? I know that both of us are still young, but.."

You begin to fiddle your fingers out of nervousness that's slowly building up within you.

"I'm scared if I ever mess things up."

The blonde-haired male ponders over your confession for a bit, before he moves himself closer to you-- taking ahold of your shoulders, and made you look at him so you two are now face to face properly.

He tells you understandingly and calmly, "A good lover isn't perfect."

"Just so you know; we all have our own imperfections, even I do. I have flaws, yet you accepted as who I am, and as I do to you. You never once judged me, and I forever will be grateful for your existence."

"No one is perfect, after all. It's simply impossible to meet someone with such qualities. It would be highly unrealistic, and I hope you do realize that."

By this point, your eyes shifted upwards to meet his own, yet you couldn't find any traces of irritation or even lies as he tells you those words. It feels pure and genuine, clearly coming straight from what lies within his heart alone.

When he acknowledges the look you gave him, a small, yet content smile is present; partly as a sign of reassurance, that he only saves it for you. His hands didn't even leave your form either, determined on making you believe on each of his words. He doesn't want you to doubt him, because everything he says is the mere truth, not just something that you wanted to hear.

"You are already a great partner for me, so don't ever doubt yourself anymore." No matter how many times, he would gladly repeat those words for you. Because you mean a lot to him.

Who would've thought that someone like Nanami to ever speak out such sweet words to anyone; to you? An absolute sweetheart, you were rendered speechless for a while there after he finished speaking, affecting your whole being in the best ways possible.

And it almost made you feel foolish to ever have shown that you doubt yourself for it, when all he feels is genuine love and care for you.

Once the realization really hits you, your cheeks is slowly becoming more pinkish, finally able to absorb his words to your heart and mind; taking your time to understand it deeply in the process. He's really that one guy; one who simply doesn't leave you over something that could be deemed as ridiculous.

"You truly mean it..?"

"With every fibre of my being, I do." You didn't even realize that your eyes have gotten teary, feeling a little emotional over this whole situation. He knows that you two could make it through this relationship, with proper care and effort from one another.

It's not something he would easily admit to someone, which makes it even more special to you. One of his hands now moved up towards your cheek, and the other around your waist as he tenderly brushes away the tears that managed to escape from you.

"You mean a lot to me, even if I didn't show it that often."

You didn't even realize that you may or may not have been bottling up your emotions over your silent thoughts, which makes it more evident when he pulls you into a warm embrace; all while whispering some comforting words to you.

"Hey, it's alright, okay? It's alright, I got you." Is one of what he said while rubbing circles on your back-- the embrace position still stays.

"I know and I'm aware that I might not appear as the most openly affectionate person-- barely saying the words, 'I love you', or anything along the lines to you at times.."

"But remember my words, alright? I do care about you, so much than I did about myself. I love you too much, you're everything to me. Please don't ever forget that."

Basically Martha's deal is that she was a woman raised in the kind of 40s where the best mental health facility was god dame Arkham. (yerrr not the best) She struggled with mental health issues for most of her life and was in and out of Arkham frequently. Not that it helped, there best attempt of a diagnosis was hysteria aka women be crazy. This gave her a bad reputation, but she didn't let that drag her down and became a very popular singer and actress. Bit of a party girl she was here for a good time not a long time.

Thomas

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa this guy, Shock to all being a wartime doctor doesn't do wonders for your mental. So what dose a wealthy traumatised man do. see a therapist, HELL no you fuck and drink the emotions away like a real American. Thomas was a good man he did use his wealth to fund hospitals and when out on to the streets to help those who couldn't afford healthcare. He had a strong sense of justice and believed in helping the weak. Unfortunately this resulted into a bit of a hero complex and viewing people more as projects more than people.

* For Jack Father’s Day used to be a sore wound. A reminder that his father didn’t find him worth sticking around for. But since Fowler stepped up as a Father for him he’s had something to look forward to. And he lets Fowler know his appreciation by cooking breakfast for him. Jack has some pretty good cooking skills that he learned from his mother.

* We don’t know a ton about Miko and Rafs parents but Miko makes sure to dedicate some time to video call her father in Japan, and Raf spends a lot of time trying to find the right gift for his father which is harder than you think when you have so many siblings. More than one year two or more of his siblings accidentally got their dad the same gift (great minds think alike I guess)

* And let’s not think our favorite Robo dad is getting left out! Op is a father of 5 (soon to be 6 but Rodi hasn’t joined the family by this point)

* Cybertron doesn’t necessarily have a specific day dedicated to celebrating Mothers and Fathers. So the bots were intrigued when they found out about Father’s Day on earth.

* Bee and Smoke both took Op out an outing. They ended up spending most of the time trying to one up each other which was amusing to say the least

* The Jasper Trio all made gifts for Op which he will treasure forever

* The day ended with him and Lita going to a secluded cliff together and watching the sun set. Elita telling Op how much she loved him and the family they made together.

It's been a week and there's still no solution to their problem. Alastor and Vox are still stuck in this parallel world without any solution to getting back home.

They're stuck playing nice with each other until they do.

Alastor's grin strains as he listens to the other Overlords bicker with each other. One day of interrogation. Six days listening to this drivel.

He doesn't want to stay here any longer. Alastor stands up, intending to just walk out.

"Where are you going?" Other Carmilla asks.

"Out," Alastor says. "Many apologies but I simply cannot stay here any longer. I can't help Vox with whatever he's trying to do right now."

Other Vox rolls his eyes and Other Alastor simply nods once. All the others murmur a few small pleasantries of understanding.

Except for one.

Alastor starts walking towards the door.

"So you're leaving? Good!" Vox shouts after him. "I never needed you or your help anyway. Not now, not in the 50s! So just go on and run away again! You're useless baggage!

Alastor stops. "What did you just say?"

Vox scowls. "I said—"

Everyone in the room jumps as Alastor suddenly surges towards Vox with a burst of static and slams him against the wall, hands gripping the TV demon's collar tightly.

Alastor cricks his neck as his eyes turn to dials. "May I remind you who exactly found you when you arrived in Hell? I did. I found you and helped put you together.We used to be friends, Vox, and you were the one who threw twenty years of partnership out the window in exchange for false promises made by a lecherous sinner demon that went against everything we worked together on. You tossed me aside and bad-mouthed my domain."

The others collectively frown, trying to decipher Alastor's words through the thick radio filter.

Vox opens his mouth, intending to object before Alastor slams him against the wall again. His voice comes out less tinny, and more clear. His radio filter is waning.

“Don't say you didn't. You called me a relic of the past and ran in the opposite direction with your new beau so you could capitalize on every new little thing. I may be the one who left for seven years, but you have always had me. You still have me! I was the one who was forced to let go because I. Lost. You.”

He punctuates his last three words with larger and larger bursts of static before clarity rushes back to him.

Alastor's pants with exertion as he realizes what he's just done: spilled his secrets and bared his vulnerabilities to Vox, something he swore he'd never do again after the 70s. He can't stay here. He'll just get wound up again. He needs to go.

All the tension in his body leaves. He takes a step back and lowers Vox to the ground. Everyone stares at him.

He chooses not to look at them and turns towards the corner of the room. “I'll be out. Come find me when I'm not itching to tear you into pieces.”

And with that, he walks briskly into the shadows and melts away.

The others turn to stare at Vox, who's shaking.

Instead of saying anything, though, he turns and marches out of the room.

The lights flicker for a long time before they each burst and plunge the room into darkness.

I have seen this theory going around. The slit eyes might be for his 'cat-like design' (there's canonical animal things for the trio), or they could be hints that Lu Guang isn't human. Or somethign else. This is link click.

Honestly questions about Lu Guang get answered in this plot twist at the end of season two (like... the last five minutes) that then leaves you with more questions

Season three is coming out soon at that SHOULD POSSIBLY be the 'Lu Guang answers' season.

It may as well be that Lu Guang isn't human, but after season two I think it's... not likely? I think they are going for something else. But still a plausible theory /pos

(I don't read their manga so all I'm gonna say is purely my theories and assumptions or maybe wishful thinking on my part to suit my taste, so I'd be really grateful if manga readers don't spoil anything for me be it I hit the nail or not)

in this anime the story really starts from Himmel's death and the impact his death left on Frieren more than she actually thought resulting in her being left with deep regret. His death left no impression on me at first tbh. I mean we don't know anything about him enough to care, Heiter's death was more impactful at least to me ...

but then the more I watch the more I realize the core of this story as much as it's Frieren's journey to understand human's emotions so not to repeat the same mistake twice as much as it's about getting to know Himmel's with her so it's gonna be the death that breaks you down later on kind of way.

I thought it was cleaver that we were put in the same boat as her, we actually know nothing about him like her, so through this journey we're also gonna get to know the "real" Himmel with her.

the more she'll learn about human's emotions the more she'll understand alot of things she might've brash it away cuz she either never pay attention or don't get the real meaning of his words/actions like the fact that he actually LOVED her :)

something else that got me thinking is this ..

at the end of his funeral, she was left staring to this ring for a while ... so LISTEN TO ME .. what if this ring here is a gift from him to her ...

what if it was from the time he confesses his love to her or even worse he proposed to her but she either didn't get what he actually meant or declined or something between those lines aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa STOP ME FROM DIGGING DEEPER OMG

so, through this journey she'll learn the true meaning of those words and feelings the more she learns about human's emotions .. and the worse part what if she realized she was in love with him too by the end of the story but never understand her own feelings ????

she said she's gathering new magics cuz he was praising her whenever she learned something new, also the ghost she saw was Himmel's ghost not her teacher as she was expecting so that proves she actually care about him more than she herself realize ><

this gonna be very tragic, yet I wants this to be the core of the story since I'm just weak for those kinds of stories AND I'M ALREADY CRYING EVEN THOUGH I DON'T KNOW IF I'M RIGHT OR NOT YET I GET EMOTIONAL SEEING THEM TOGETHER YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND !!!!

I don't know how and why my mind decided to go wild with those ideas that now I see the anime and its story differently than what I signed up for at first ... 5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? When I'm actively posting a fic I do, but when I'm not posting I fall behind and then the inbox gets overwhelming so I avoid it and then it gets even more overwhelming so I avoid some more and now we've really reached critical mass and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I do read them all, though, and they make me happy in my heart

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? We don't really do angsty endings over at ArwaMachine, LLC. Monsters in the Woods come close (iykyk - I see y'all's screams in that last chapter), and Oh How the Ghost of You Clings ends with Sherlock still on hiatus, but we're all about that happy ending over here (...for now)

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? They've all got happy endings; the heavier the angst, the happier the ending! I feel like Indefinite Lines has a pretty happy ending, and if you consider the Bonus Lines then we're really in Fluffy McFluff territory.

So Grant Us All a Change of Heart also has a pretty happy ending (and a hefty dose of angst in all the preceding chapters)

8. Do you get hate on fics? Not really, thank god. There's been a few frowny-face comments here and there, but overall folks have been lovely.

9. Do you write smut? HECK YES I DO! C'MON OVER TO ARWAMACHINE'S HOUSE O SMUT AND LOAD UP ON YOUR SPICE! WE SPECIALIZE IN TOPLOCK AND I WILL NOT BE APOLOGIZING FOR THAT

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? I have! Sleepwalkers has been translated into Spanish, and Storm has been translated into Russian! Always happy when fics get translated :)

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No, and let me tell you that I would be the worst co-writer in the history of co-writers. Nobody ever write anything with me ever--I am a fucking nightmare

14. What's your all-time favourite ship? Sherlock & John, although these days I'm also feeling myself some Gentlebeard

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I have a goddamn post-fall fic where John develops panic disorder that I've been "working on" since 2021 and I AM GOING TO FINISH IT. I AM. I AM GOING TO FINISH THE MOTHERFUCKER IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO

16. What are your writing strengths? I think I write the feelings well, and I'd like to think I can create scenes that bring out the intended feels in readers. I also think (/hope) I handle scene pacing decently--action scenes feel fast-paced but not rushed, slower scenes take their time but aren't slogs, etc.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Fight scenes. Dear christ do I hate writing fight scenes. I also really don't understand how commas work.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I have exactly two words in Russian in Lines and that is going to be the extent of it! Trying not to make an uncultured ass out of myself over here...

19. First fandom you wrote for? BBC Sherlock. I'm like that kid who married their high school sweetheart. That is to say, I make questionable decisions.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written? Okay, so I love all of my fics and my answer tends to be whichever fic I've most recently written, but I've got to say that I love Lines so much. I put my whole soul into that fic for, like, over a year of my life, I researched the ever loving fuck out of it (who's reading up on amputation procedures? this gal!), I created a working cypher for the motherfucker, I permanently changed my relationship with Brahms' lullaby, and I got to meet Rosie, who remains my favorite character that I've ever written, ever. So Lines is my favorite child. Good child.
