Tbh that's probably what gives Blue the biggest advantage when it comes to the multiverse. It isn't a secret that all Sanses love their Papyruses, even to their own detriment. A lot of the issues the Bad Sanses and other darker aus have regarding their Papyrus is BECAUSE of how much they love their brother in spite of the circumstances of their various aus. And then here's this little blue guy who ISN'T a Papyrus but is so much LIKE him they can't help but associate Blue with their own brother. Just a nice version of him that shares their own face so it's easier to see him because he looks like a Sans but acts like a Papyrus

Exactlyyyyy! You get it you get it

They all love their brother, in one way or another. But actually SEEING him is absolutely a trigger for people like Dust or Killer, or even Error to a degree. Some of them might not even realize they’re relating Blue to their Paps. They just… Like him for some reason. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Blue has (eventually, it takes a while) become the new little brother to them all, but in a way they never got to have because Blue understands them and their struggles.

Dust in particular, honestly. He has this twisted version of Papyrus constantly egging him on and tearing him down, so to have someone that, deep down, reminds him of his actual brother, the one that’s dead and gone but went out with a loving smile, absolutely hits home.

#That lil skelly wiggled his way into their souls little bits at a time #and they didn’t even need to have any sort of theraputic talk about their traumas #or their secrets anxieties struggles reset after reset after reset #like they never got to have with Paps #cuz Blue found out via Ink and Error and traveling the multiverse #so he Knows.
