Due to the sheer size of this cast, I'll be breaking this up into two posts. And for any that are curious, I will be ordering them in order of where they stand in the court hierarchy. So we start with the top of the ladder:

Miraculous Animal AU - Science Class

Zoe the Wasp - Though her and Chloe are not technically related, they've been together since birth and see eachother as sisters. Even though they're sweeter than Chloe, Zoe has a sharp pincer that she uses for hunting her food. She also loves movies and punk rock songs that play on the record player. They adore their hedgehog mate, Cosette, and often fly on its nose.

Aurore the Swan - Aurore's a big, beautiful and elegant bird, who also happens to be a nervous wreck 90% of the time. Due to society's expectations of swans to always be radiant and magestic creatures, Aurore can be a perfectionist, scared of failing in the eyes of her elders. It's only thanks to being with her friends and her penguin mate Mireille that she's learned how to relax and simply live life for herself. One of her favorite things to do is to honk about the weather with her girlfriend to the other animals on each farm.

Mireille the Penguin - Mireille is as quiet and chill as the temperature they prefer to live in. She's often waddling around to see what the weather is like, and their favorite pasttime is going for a nice swim in the pond. She often finds it hard to open her beak and speak up, but is working on it with the more extroverted animals. They also like visiting their older brother, Theo, who is the pet of a famous artist.

Jean the Macaw - If you want to see an animal with flair, vigor and theatricality, look no further than Jean. A particuarly passionate parrot, Jean loves to strut his stuff wherever he goes, showing that they can squawk the squawk and walk the walk. They adore the theatre, listening to all sorts of musicals from the record player and copying certain words that he learns from the scripts. They also put on little shows for their friends, with the help of some of the more theatre-loving animals. He cherishes his mate, a nerdy deer named Austin T.

Lacey the Cheetah - Lacey always has a need for speed, so don't coop her up. As the fastest not just of Farmer Olga, but of all the farms, it's Lacey's job to catch any troublemakers trying to sneak in. She also loves parkour, racing for glory against Kim, Alix and Aggie. Because of her low stamina, she can often be found napping in various parts of the farm. Be thoughtful and don't wake her up.

Denise the Bison - Denise is one bulky bison. They grazing, rolling around in the dirt, and prefers to be in a herd rather than alone. A very social bison, they want to make sure everyone feels included in daily activities. They may be huge, but they're one of the friendliest and calmest animals on the farm, always willing to be pet. There's only one animal that can make them blush, that being their serval mate Simon.

Simon the Serval - A snarky and slender serval, Simon's a cat who is always trying to nab pieces of technology to use for himself. Some of his friends call them "Keyboard Cat" since he constantly paws at the computer as if it were a majestic artifact of God. They also can be rather grumpy in the morning, needing to climb a tree or mark territory to cool off. Sometimes, he likes jumping onto the back of his bison mate and going for a ride.

Cosette the Hedgehog - A spunky and spiky critter, Cosette's always in the mood for exploring, digging and foraging. You can often find it sniffing its' friends, rolling around in a ball, or digging with its claws for treasures. They love makeup, and have made some out of various substances found on the farm to put on its' animal allies. One time, Cosette and their foxy friend Alya tried to recreate something they saw from a Sonic movie. They were sad to find out foxes couldn't actually fly.

Ismael the Raccoon - A witty little gremlin, Ismael proudly identifies as a "trash baby". He likes digging through garbage, collecting various items from the bins to put on display at his room for the other animals to see. He's a night owl for sure, usually hanging out with the other nocturnal animals around the various farms. You can often hear him chittering with a meowing Simon, as they snark about various things.

Reshma the Elephant - A polite and elegant elephant, Reshma never forgets to cherish her friends. She often trumpets about new ideas for fashion, and her best friend Ismael is as protective of her as she is with him. Her fashionista friend is Marinette, the little ladybug. They are always working together on new animal attire, despite being vastly different in size. She loves wrapping her trunk around her cheetah mate, Lacey, and her polar bear mate, Margo.

One of my favorited gacha tubers was 707 and Kawaii Ichigo-chan.

The protection squad for Marinette they are Felix Fathom, Kagami Tsurugi, Chloe Bourgeois, Alix Kubdel, Nino Lahiffe, Zoe Lee, Rose Lavillant, Juleka Couffaine, Aurore Beaureal, Mirelle Caquet, Marc Anciel, Nathaniel Kurtzberg, Claude Bellamy, Allegra Blanchet, and Allan Dubois.

Let's say Marinette is a huge fan of 707 & Kawaii Ichigo-chan gacha tubers. But what people doesn't know is that she writes the names of the people who hates the most to get killed by an evil spirit. She is more interested about 'Red Ink Curse' she has read this somewhere in the school library.

-- Her first target was Alya Cesaire since she never show proof which annoyed her.

-- Her second target was Adrien Agreste the one that showed her the true colors of Adrien being a bystander & enabler for bullies and not helping her at all. As she went as Ladybug to retrieve the Black Cat Miraculous from him he wasn't the true holder of Plagg it was actually his cousin Felix.

-- Her third target was Lila Rossi the girl who ruined her reputation and her life.

But she decided to give Gabriel a second chance by fixing the peacock miraculous and bringing back his wife back after the disappointment he got from Marinette's parents about Adrien's action towards her.

While Tikki made a reason with the spirit who had killed her targets. But made a promise not to go near her friends or family unless her miraculous holder had someone who wanted to cause her holder to be akumatized.

As soon as her targets were gone she is no more feels stress from them ever again. While Ms. Bustier and Damocles well they got fired from their job when Chloe send a report to the School Board about them.

A note: I have purposefully excluded the children but not the characters based on IRL people.

The children are excluded because as in real life, they are constantly changing and are more prone to feeling judged by society if we try to bog them down with answering a question with a straight answer versus letting them vibe however they are.

The characters based on IRL people were included because the people they were based on may be queer, we just don't know, we also wont assume. Also because once a character is created, they belong to the public and the public will assign any headcanons to them regardless of what was intended or what is true.

How Things Have Changed: A Stammering Adrien AU Story

Based on this AU.

This is a nonprofit story. The only characters or locations I own are the ones I make up.  All other fictional characters and locations about Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir are the property of Thomas Astruc and Zag. Please support the official release.

Juleka sat in her room, thinking. So many things crossed her mind throughout the day. How she was dating Rose, how there were actual superheroes in Paris that only showed up last year, how she and Luka had a rock star father, how her family now had a pet, how Luka was dating Chloé, how Chloé had an older sister, and how Chloé had gone from being a bully to being a friend. That last one still took some getting used to. Chloé used to be the meanest girl in school. She was bossy, spoiled, rude, conceited, selfish, and even cruel. Juleka still remembered all the times Chloé made her upset, all the names she would call her.

"Loser."

"Nobody."

"Freak."

"Weirdo."

But that was the old Chloe. The new Chloé was considerate, loving, kind, passionate, and friendly. The new Chloé had different terms for Juleka.

"Friend."

"Honey."

"Cutie-pie."

"Buddy."

"Julie," Though in fairness, everyone called her that from time to time.

Sure, Chloé was still a bit spoiled and had a temper that flared up once in a while, but Juleka could look someone in the eye and say that Chloé was her friend, especially after what she did for Luka. Luka was so much happier now that he was dating Chloé, and Juleka loved the sight of it, and the sound of it. Luka wrote plenty of songs for Chloé, like the one he was currently playing. Juleka smiled.

"Writing another song for Chloé?" she asked.

Luka smiled. "Actually, Chloé wrote this one."

"Chloé wrote a song?"

"Well, she wrote the lyrics," said Luka. "I'm writing the music. She calls it "Finally Got it Right." Check it out."

Juleka took a look at the lyrics. It told Chloé's story. It was all about the mistakes she made, the regrets she had, and what she was doing to change, all in a poetic, musical way. Juleka smiled as she was reminded just how much effort Chloé put into changing who she was.

"I still can't believe it."

"Believe what?" Luka asked.

"Just how much she's changed," said Juleka. "She used to such a bully. I used to wish she would leave Paris forever, but now? Now she invites me to every other mall trip, and I hear her cheering the band at every show we have.

"Crazy how things have changed, huh?" said Luka, walking up to her

Juleka raised a determined fist to her chest. "I want to do something for her."

"Sounds good to me," said Luka. "But what?"

Juleka thought long and hard. Then she had an idea. With the plan fresh in her head, she called up everyone she could.

Chloé was walking home from a shopping spree, wearing a new outfit with her sunglasses down while carrying several others. She was followed by Marc, Sabrina, Zoe, Mireille and Aurore.

"Another successful spree," said Chloé. "And how about that sale, huh?"

"Twice as many shoes for half the price? What a steal," said Mireille.

Marc went through his bags. "I hope my doodlebug likes my new wardrobe."

"Oh, honey," said Sabrina, sipping her smoothie. "You know he will."

Chloé clung to her sister. "First shopping spree with the squad. Whatcha think?"

"Loved it. Your friends are awesome," said Zoe before pinching Chloé's cheek. "My little sister has friends. I'm so proud of you."

Chloé blushed as she put her sunglasses back up on her head. She thought back to the first time she heard those words.

"And if I may, Mademoiselle, I am very proud of you."

Jean was the first one to tell Chloé that, at least the first one since she had become a teenager. She had been hearing it more and more, and it resonated with her. It felt like this was all right. This was who she was meant to be. Suddenly, her train of thought was interrupted when she saw people in the lobby.

"What the?" she said as she approached. "Is that a party?"

Chloé went in, feeling irritated that there was a party she didn't know about. She thought that by now, she would be kept in the loop with big events. She felt a twinge of rage in the back of her mind, but that twinge was silenced when she got in the door, and everyone leaped out, and cheered.

"SURPRISE!"

Chloé's head went back and forth, looking at everything that was going on.

"Wha-Wha-What is all this?" she asked.

"Can't you tell?" Marinette asked. "It's a party."

"For you," said Juleka.

Rose walked up with a gift. "Just a little something, Marinette and Julie came up with to show you how much we appreciate how much you've improved."

Chloé looked around. This party was small, with little in the way of entertainment, food, or decoration, but all of her friends were there, and everyone seemed happy to see her. A year ago, Chloé would have scoffed, and ridiculed this attempt at a party. But that wasn't the case anymore as Chloé smiled, and giggled at the kind gesture.

"You guys," she said. "You didn't have to make such a fuss over me."

"We know we didn't have to," said Rose, handing her the gift.

Marinette took her by the shoulder. "But we wanted to."

"Because we love you." Juleka added.

Chloé opened up the gift. It was a framed photo of her with all of her friends. A chintzy gift by her old standards, but that didn't stop Chloé from holding it close. She couldn't believe it. Before, she had only two friends. Now, she had twenty. Granted, one of them was her sister, but that still counted, and that number was growing. Chloé put down the picture, and gave Juleka, Rose, and Marinette a hug and one kiss each. The group hug grew to involve everyone, including her oldest friend, Adrien. She felt so loved.

I love your AU, I think it’s well written and developed. But, why do you keep saying that Mireille can’t talk to the camera/wears pajamas? I mean she looked and seemed fine with the job in the show.

I don’t think that, Aurore thinks that! 

JK, but Mireille is an interesting topic. The first time I ever watched Stormy Weather, I 100% had the intended impression - Mireille was cute and you could tell she was sweet from very few shots of her based on body language alone. She had Manon’s vote, so obviously her popularity wasn’t out of left field, right? Her overall look was soft and welcoming and it was a breath of fresh air that she won over someone who was arrogant and cocky, like Aurore. It was nice that Mireille won.

But then I watched Stormy Weather, like, 5 times. Because it’s a seriously good episode.

There’s a reason I came up with my own reasons for Aurore to be bitter about her loss, aside from “I’m Prettier, I’m Better” like she says in canon. Because on rewatch, things don’t really add up. I didn’t make up that Mireille can’t maintain eye contact with the camera - she literally doesn’t in the episode. It was an excellent use of body language to characterize Mireille as humble and shy, but she flashes her eyes to the camera when they’re announcing the finalist’s names and she immediately looks away. She smiles very shyly (and cutely) but the focus of the camera on her makes her look away. That’s not something you look for in a TV Personality.

And I can come up with different reasons why Mireille is more “popular” than Aurore. Maybe Mireille appeals more to children. Maybe Aurore is too conventional a TV Host and people thought that was boring. Maybe Mireille knows how to network behind the scenes and is great at self marketing. Maybe people voted based on who they liked as a person rather than who was better suited for the job. But the thing that I noticed on rewatch and rewatch is that…it felt like Mireille was set up to win. 

Because the story jumps between Marinette and Aurore, we get the impression that not a lot of time has passed between Aurore getting akumatized and Aurore arriving at the park and wasting the streets (Manon is crying for a balloon, switch to Stormy blasting people with her Gust and shooting into the sky, switch back to Manon receiving the balloon). Point is, it’s been minutes, an hour at most, since Mireille was announced the winner. But when Stormy Weather is going through the streets wrecking shit, you don’t see any Aurore merchandise. You don’t see any Aurore promotional stuff. The only things we get with Aurore’s face on it are her cardboard standee, which already looks like it’s been put off to the side ready to be thrown away, and the billboard on top of the tv station tower. Everything else is covered in Mireille. But the contest winner was only announced an hour if not minutes ago. HOW did they get the move on to put all that Mireille stuff out that quickly? My Crackpot Theory: They already knew who the winner was.

Meaning the producers picked the winner. Meaning the votes meant nothing. Meaning Aurore was cheated.

This is just my crazy theory, I know there was probably animation limits or it didn’t make sense for Stormy Weather to destroy Mireille stuff if her own face was also on it. I’m just saying, in universe, it’s veeeeery suspicious. Especially because NOW we know Aurore DOES become the weather girl thanks to Stormy Weather 2 *shudders I just references SW2* So what happened? Did Mireille’s contract run out? Did Mireille step down herself? Did Mireille get fired? Did the public react negatively to Mireille as the Weather Girl? Did the actual voters call in and demand a recount? Only time will tell…apparently…because Thomas tweeted that a future episode will explain things :P

As far as her clothes go, there’s nothing inherently wrong with them. To me, they look comfortable and soft, something you’d feel good about lounging around the house in or going to a coffee shop to relax in. I probably wear the same clothes (minus white pants because NO.) But…let’s put it this way. What if you had a job interview for your DREAM JOB, so you got your resume catered to highlight the abilities that are most important to the job, you take special time for your hair and skin to make sure you look put together, you get the professional interview clothes to make sure the interviewer knows you’re serious about this job…and then someone comes in wearing jeans and a tshirt, acting like they’re scared to be there, and they get the job. It’s not that there’s something wrong with their outfit - but YOU put in the effort, YOU put in the time, and THEY waltz it and snag it from under you? You’d be insulted.

Of course, you don’t know if their resume is more impressive than yours. You don’t know if the interviewers are looking for a “particular” person and you’re not it. You don’t know why they got the job over you, you just know what you saw and what you felt.

TLDR: Mireille is fine and cute the way she is but I think her win is suspicious and her wearing her “I’m just going to the grocery store” clothes and not maintaining eye contact are not helping her case.
