100 CHAPTERS OF GACHIAKUTA! YAY! i've only been caught up for a few weeks now but i absolutely love this series and i hope to see it continue for another 100 chapters <3

zanka’s backstory is such a good example of how unhealthy competition can stifle one’s self esteem. can make one feel like an imposter. and how familial and peer pressure to do and be better can destroy your sense of worth. can put you in a deep, dark well (literally) that you might feel it is impossible to get out of.

it is such a good example of accepting that there will be “geniuses” out there who are better than you at doing what you’ve been working for your whole life, but also knowing that hard work does not stop there. you use those better than you as a benchmark and continue to learn and improve and grow in ways you never would have had you been the one on top.

it is such a good example of having faith in your own averageness, and making it your strength.
