A/N: This is all your fault @multi-fandom-imagine, I love you.
He collapsed against you the moment you hugged him, his hands clinging to your clothes, his body failing him but he kept pushing himself to get home to you
Even though his lips are cracked and shaking he still kisses you with everything he's got
With a groan he carries you to the bed, your smaller body bouncing off the bed before he stills you with strong hands
There's no time to tell you where he's been, he knows he doesn't have much time to spare as is so he will make the most if it
Something is different about him, he seems different from the Jayce you knew, he was the same yet not
Not even the way he touched you was the same
It was very rushed, desperate, needy, full of lust as his hands pealed off your clothes, his hands mapping your body like he hadn't had you for years
"I can't explain. There's no time. But... I need you... I need you right now and I... I feel like I'm losing my mind. But you're here, you're real, I can feel you. I need to feel all of you, babe."
Jayce almost starts crying when he sees you naked
His cock was hard before that even happened
Before he didn't have the time or energy to pleasure himself, it was the farthest thing from his mind, all he thought of was how to survive, how to get back
Now all he wants is to feel your pussy around his cock again
He almost starts drooling when he sees how wet you are
As his hands cup your ass cheeks he raises your pussy to his mouth, kissing, lapping, fast, sloppy movements with his tongue and lips
There is none of that slow build up or teasing you're used to from him
"How can I wait? I've waited for so long. Missed your taste, your moans, your body, your perfect little cunt. So desperate for me to fill it. I know beautiful, I know. I want you too. Just let me have this for a while longer."
As he licks into you your hands go to his hair, pushing the messy locks, noting how much longer his hair is now
His moan travels from your clit up your spine and to your brain
You feel his beard scratching your inner thighs while Jayce tries to get you closer, impossibly closer
Doesn't let you get away from him until he feels your thighs clamp down around his head and fall over his shoulders
He doesn't wipe your pussy juices off his face, he's frantically lining his cock up with your hole and thrusting the full length into you
You moan in unison as he stretches your hole open, you should be used to that feeling by now but it always makes your eyes roll back, the thickness of him so much better than your fingers
Jayce growls and huffs as he grabs your hips and ruts into you, not holding back, the pace almost painful, you can't even understand what he's saying anymore, he's already getting pussydrunk on the feeling of your inner walls squeezing his cock
"That's it, that's my girl, that's the cunt I remember. Feeling so good. Ah, I love you, please know that, no matter what I do, no matter what I've done, I love you! I want... I always wanted a family with you. I couldn't say it before but now I want you to know. Can I... can I come inside of you? Just... want you be mine, want to get you pregnant, want to... I'll do it... fuck a gods damn baby into you!"
Even as he was rambling, his eyes staring into yours, tears all but spilling down his face he still held you close
It was true that you never talked about having a family
But it was clear that what ever he experianced put some things into perspective for Jayce
His hips smacked into yours with raw lust, his balls full and desperate to be emptied, his cock twitching every time your pussy squeezed around it
Jayce hisses as he bends his injured leg to fuck you harder, ramming his cock so deep into your pussy
The flash of pain is quickly followed by pleasure as he finishes, his cock pushed all the way inside of you, his hands leaving marks on your hips as you're filled up with warm seed
He doesn't stop, as he feels your cunt spasming around him and your nails scratching down his back he gets going again, his warm breath coming out fast and ragged
There's nothing in his head except the need, the thought of making sure you're thoroughly breed before he leaves the room

AGAPE - JINX X READER
contains: fluff, g/n reader, really short, no proofread
warnings: none
summary: you help jinx fall asleep.
A/N: This is my first time ever writing one of these!! I hope you enjoy. Sorry if she seems a little out of character, I’ll write a better one soon lolz.
“Jinx..?” You called softly from the couch in her.. “room.” She had been sitting at her desk for hours now, and all you could hear was mumbled curses and what sounded like power tools every so often. And the occasional spray paint can, of course.
When you didn’t get an answer, you huffed and rolled your eyes. She had said she’d be done a while ago. You trot closer to her, rubbing your sleepy eyes. But as soon as you see her hunched over form, you know something’s wrong.
Her shoulders are tense, and the way her hair is frizzy around her braids shows she’s been tugging at it. She fiddles around with some odd thing she’s creating, her nimble fingers making it look effortless.
“God dammit..” She mumbled, a small groan leaving her lips. You step closer slowly, tapping her shoulder. She slowly glanced up, a tired look on her face.
“You know, you said you’d be done a while ago.” You say, crossing your arms over your chest. She rolls her eyes and smirks a little. “Got carried away. Sorry, toots.”
She goes to look back down at her.. well, whatever the hell she was making, and you quickly stop her.
“C’mon, Jinx. It’s late.” You give her a bit of a look, which earns a small groan from her. “You always are bothering me..” She huffs out as she stands up from her chair. You know it came from a place of love.
You were really one of the only people she trusted these days. Where everyone else failed, you seemed to not. It was almost fascinating to her. Jinx had gone so long keeping everyone at a distance, safe for the few she was close with.
But something about you.. just made her love you. She did kinda hate it. She’d say it was because you turned her into a lame sap, but deep down it’s because she’s scared.
Loving something meant you now have something to lose. And that was never a good thing.
She stretched, a few bones cracking. You smiled a little at how sleepy she seemed. “Those energy drinks ain’t working anymore, huh?” You teased, tugging lightly on her arm towards the couch. “I need to inject it into my veins.” She whined and you chuckled lightly.
You plopped down against the couch and she followed, flopping down right on top of you. A small sigh left her lips, and you could feel the tension leave her body. As if on cue, you rested a hand in her hair, running it over the blue braids.
“You ever gonna cut all this hair?” You spoke softly, watching as she cuddled into you. She shrugged. “I dunno. I think it’s part of my whole.. persona now.” She grinned and you rolled your eyes playfully.
“If you ever want to, i’ll help. Make it look all nice and not choppy.” You suggested. Her chin was resting on your chest. She gazed into your eyes for a moment, and it was a bit intimidating.
The way her eyes gleamed pink, almost blowing. You’d seen those eyes hold all different kinds of emotions, and still the intensity of them never failed to make you shiver.
Jinx then suddenly pressed a bunch of kisses to your face, and you squeaked before giggling. “W-what are you doing?” You spoke through giggles. She pulled away, a smug look on her face before she settled back down onto you. You could only imagine how dazed you look, all goofy and smitten with a bunch of dark kiss marks on your face.
“Just wanted to kiss you.” She hummed out, closing her eyes as she buried her face in her arms. Something she always did when she slept. You’d know. You spent so many nights just watching her as she slept peacefully.
You snorted. “God, you’re such a sap.” You spoke, continuing to play with her blue locks. “Your fault.” She retorted. A small smile remained on your lips as you sighed and cuddled close to her.
“Goodnight, Jinx.” You whispered softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
She didn’t say anything, but you did hear her huff softly, and she cuddled closer into you.
Actions always speak louder than words.

FOR THE FIRST TIME— Jinx
The hum of city life buzzed faintly beyond your apartment windows, the occasional car horn breaking the rhythm of your quiet sanctuary. The vinyl you’d been spinning crackled softly as “For the First Time” by Mac DeMarco started to play, its dreamy melody filling the space.
Jinx, sprawled across your couch in her usual chaos, was mid-rant about a graffiti project she wanted to try on an old factory wall downtown. Her electric blue braids spilled over the armrest like rivers of rebellion, and her hands gestured wildly, fingers tattooed and perpetually smudged with paint.
“You don’t think I’ll get caught, right?” she asked suddenly, her bright eyes darting to yours.
You looked up from where you sat cross-legged on the floor, moisturizing your legs. The scent of cocoa butter and shea wafted into the air, mixing with the faint tang of paint fumes that always seemed to cling to Jinx.
“Girl, with the way you move? They’ll see you coming a mile away,” you teased, smiling.
Jinx pouted, sitting upright. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means you’re loud,” you said, pointing at her with a raised brow. “Like, loud loud. You’re not exactly subtle.”
She stared at you for a moment before bursting into laughter, throwing her head back. “You’re not wrong,” she admitted. “But that’s why I’ve got you. You’re my quiet one. The stealthy one.”
You smirked, reaching for the bonnet on the table and pulling it over your freshly twisted hair. “Don’t drag me into your mess.”
“Oh, please,” she said, sliding off the couch to sit next to you on the floor. “You love my mess.”
She wasn’t wrong.
Jinx had burst into your life like a hurricane, colorful and chaotic in a way you’d never known before. You were the type to keep your head down, to mind your business and focus on your art, the vibrant canvases scattered around your apartment proof of your creativity. But Jinx? She was the opposite—loud, wild, unapologetically herself.
She’d spotted you at a street art festival a few months back, admiring a massive mural with a skeptical look on your face.
“You don’t like it?” she’d asked, suddenly at your side, a grin tugging at her lips.
You’d blinked, caught off guard. “It’s… fine. Just not my style.”
“Oh, so you’ve got style?” she’d teased, her eyes narrowing playfully.
That was how it started.
Now, she was practically a permanent fixture in your life, crashing on your couch whenever she felt like it and pulling you into her world of chaotic creativity.
“Why do you always put that on before bed?” Jinx asked, motioning toward your bonnet as you leaned back against the couch.
“Because I actually care about my hair,” you replied, rolling your eyes. “Unlike some people.”
Jinx gasped, feigning offense. “I care about my hair! Look at these braids—they’re flawless!”
You gave her a look, your lips quirking into a smile. “Yeah, because I did them for you last week. You were crying about your arms getting tired.”
“Okay, fair,” she said, leaning closer. “But that just means you’re amazing. And you’re, like, totally obsessed with me.”
You snorted. “In your dreams.”
Jinx fell silent for a moment, her teasing smile softening. “Actually… yeah. You kinda are.”
Her voice was quieter now, the usual wild energy in her eyes tempered by something you couldn’t quite place. She reached out, tracing a finger along the edge of one of your small, framed paintings leaning against the wall.
“I’ve never met anyone like you,” she said softly, her eyes still fixed on the painting. “You’re just… different.”
You felt your chest tighten at her words, at the way her voice seemed to hold an unfamiliar vulnerability. “Different how?”
She finally looked at you, her gaze steady in a way that made your heart race. “Like… good different. Like when I’m around you, I don’t feel like I have to be this… crazy version of myself all the time. You don’t look at me like I’m broken or too much. You just… see me.”
Her words lingered in the air, heavy and raw. The song on the record player swirled around you, its dreamy tones a perfect backdrop to the moment.
“Jinx…”
She leaned closer, her blue braids brushing your shoulder. “You feel it too, right?”
Your breath caught. You did feel it—the magnetic pull of her, the way she lit up your world like neon against a dark sky. But you’d been afraid to name it, afraid of what it might mean.
Now, with her so close, her sharp edges softened by the dim light of your apartment, you couldn’t deny it any longer.
“Yeah,” you whispered. “I feel it.”
Her grin returned, softer this time, almost shy. “Good. ‘Cause I’ve been dying to kiss you.”
Before you could respond, she leaned in, her lips brushing yours. It was soft at first, hesitant, like she wasn’t sure you’d let her stay. But when you kissed her back, her hand found your cheek, pulling you closer.
When you finally broke apart, she rested her forehead against yours, a laugh bubbling from her lips. “Damn, I should’ve done that sooner.”
You smiled, your fingers tangling in the fabric of her hoodie. “Yeah, you should’ve.”
Outside, the city continued to hum, but for the first time in a long while, you felt like everything else could wait.

Don't Be Kind To It (Homelander x Reader)
The overwhelming amount of love Homelander Only Breaks His Favorite Toys got really hit me in the feels. Some of you asked for a part II, and much like Homelander, I aim to please (and love the praise).
[tags: @helreyy @discowizard88 @slasherho]
This one is lightly inspired by Hozier's "It Will Come Back," and we get a glimpse into Homelander's perspective as well.
Hope you enjoy it! <3
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't Be Kind To It
Don't let it in with no intention to keep it Jesus Christ, don't be kind to it
You're a smart cookie. And you know Homelander better than he knows himself. You expect him to stalk you, watch you from rooftops, send you gifts that have an agenda, and force Vought's Crime Analytics department to keep an eye on you.
So, you wait. You listen for the telltale whoosh of air, the crackle of energy that signals his arrival. Every gust of wind sends your heart hammering; every creak of the floorboards makes your blood run cold. You scan the skyline for a flash of red and blue, bracing yourself for the inevitable.
At first, you think he’s just toying with you, letting you stew in paranoia. You brace for him to materialize at the most inconvenient moment, smug and victorious. Yet days turn into weeks, and his absence becomes undeniable. You tell yourself he’s good at what he does—too good—but the truth begins to sink in: it’s not just you. Nobody has seen him.
No staged rescues. No public appearances. Not even a leaked video of him losing his temper. Ashley let slip that his tracking chip went dead 3 days ago. Vought is scrambling to spin the story - a secret overseas mission? A long-deserved vacation?
But the inner circle is panicking. The people who know him best—the ones who know what he’s capable of—are terrified.
Where the fuck is Homelander?
But... another thought creeps in, invasive and unwelcome, like a splinter under your skin.
Isn't he going to fight for me?
The selfishness of it makes you recoil, but it’s there, undeniable and raw. After everything, after all the suffocating control and emotional whiplash, you almost wanted him to stay obsessed with you. To prove that you still mattered to him. To prove that you had power over the most powerful man alive.
The realization is a gut punch. Maybe you’re not as different from him as you thought. Maybe his possessiveness, his need for control, rubbed off on you more than you care to admit. Maybe you’ve become just as twisted as him, longing for attention—even the toxic kind—because it’s better than silence.
And now, silence is all there is.
It wraps around you like a noose, tightening with every passing day. His absence presses on your chest, cutting off your circulation, making it hard to breathe. You tell yourself it’s relief—that this is what you wanted—but the emptiness feels like punishment. You try to convince yourself he’s sulking, biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment to make you regret leaving him.
But the longer it stretches on, the more it begins to feel permanent.
You could care less what this means for Vought. All the company seems to care about is who will lead the Seven now. Should they try to replace Homelander or lean into the “team-first” narrative Ashley has been pushing? PR scrambles to keep the media from asking too many questions, trotting out The Deep and Black Noir to cover for him.
But the public isn’t buying it.
Those who love him are afraid he is hurt. Those who hate him post conspiracy theories about Homelander going rogue - which feels way more accurate.
Either way, if Homelander doesn’t want to be found, no one can find him.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Your days stretch out unfathomably long. You expected to feel free, to savor the clean air and the wide-open spaces of a world without him. Instead, his absence is louder than his presence ever was.
When he was there, he consumed everything: every thought, every moment, every inch of your life. You hated it, resented it, but at least you understood it. His attention, no matter how suffocating, meant you mattered.
But now there’s nothing.
The silence echoes like a scream, reverberating through every corner of your mind. Every sleepless night, every anxious thought loops back to him. Where is he? What is he doing? Is he coming back?
You start to wonder if this is how he wanted it—to leave you drowning in uncertainty, gasping for closure you’ll never get. Maybe this is his ultimate revenge.
Or maybe…
Maybe he’s broken in ways even you can’t fix.
You almost wish for his cruelty, for the familiar push-and-pull of his twisted affection. Because this? This void where he once loomed so large?
It feels like dying.
No. You have to seek him out. You can't quite tell if it's for his sake or yours... you can figure that out later.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Monster's Lament
The room is dark, lit only by the faint glow of the moon filtering through cracked blinds. Dust floats in the air, settling over the relics of a forgotten time—old Vought propaganda posters peeling from the walls, a long-dead television covered in grime. It’s quiet here, too quiet, save for the clock that's miraculously still ticking.
Homelander sits slumped in a battered chair, his suit grimy, his cape discarded on the floor in a crumpled heap. His head is in his hands, his golden locks disheveled, the picture of a god brought low.
“You warned her,” a voice says, syrupy sweet.
Homelander doesn’t look up, doesn’t need to—he knows where it’s coming from.
The mirror.
He lifts his gaze reluctantly, and there it is: his own reflection staring back at him, but not quite right. The eyes burn brighter, the teeth are sharper, the smile is crueler. It leans forward as if trying to crawl out of the glass.
"You warned her," it sings again. "But did she listeeeen." "Not now, okay?" Homelander pleads.
The face in the mirror laughs. "Jesus fucking Christ, this is so pathetic. What are you waiting for, for her to come find you? For her to need you?" "She does need me." “Oh, sure. Because you gave her everything. The flying, the fancy dinners, the cape-flipping bullshit. But what did she give you?” It leans closer, its grin widening. “Pity. That’s what. You wanted love, and all you ever got was pity.”
“That’s not true,” Homelander growls, but his voice wavers.
“Isn’t it?” The reflection tilts its head, almost playfully. “She stayed because she felt sorry for you. The broken little boy in the big man’s body. She didn’t love you, not really. She loved the idea of fixing you. And when she couldn’t—”
“Shut up!” Homelander’s voice cracks as he lurches to his feet, his hands trembling.
The reflection’s grin doesn’t falter. If anything, it grows wider. “What’s the matter, Johnny? Don’t like the truth?”
He stands frozen, a deer in headlights. He never learned to deal with complex emotions, and even after all this time, it wraps around him like a boa constrictor, cutting off his air supply and rooting him to the ground.
And the reflection starts to sing. “Don’t feed me, honey. Don’t be kind to me.”
The lyrics echo around Homelander, twisting like a blade.
"Don't give it a hand, offer it a soul Honey, make this easy Leave it to the land, this is what it knows."
"STOP IT" Homelander cries.
"Don't let me in with no intention to keep me Jesus Christ, don't be kind to me Honey, don't feed me, I will come back"
"You're supposed to be on MY side." Homelander says. "I am. This is what that looks like," It replies.
Homelander's stares ahead, his fists clenched, his jaw tights, his eyes ready to burn holes into the mirror. The silence stretches, heavy and suffocating.
Homelander closes his eyes, but her face is there, burned into his eyelids. The way she looked at him—like he was more than the sum of his power, more than the monster everyone else saw. He hates her for it. He loves her for it.
“Why did you leave?” he whispers to himself.
The reflection’s smile vanishes. For a moment, it almost looks… pitying.
“Because you allowed it,” it says simply.
The words hit like a punch to the gut.
"She fed you ONCE. And you kept going to her like a stray fucking dog. You took her mercy and her love and you became weak. Nobody wants weakness, Johnny." It leans forward, smiling, canines gleaming, "Whatcha gonna do about it?"
Homelander looks at the ground. Shame and desperation wash over him, and he blinks tears back.
"You're going to claim her. And you'll make sure she never, ever leaves again. Right?"
Homelander doesn't look up from the floor.
It gets irritated. "Right?"
Silence.
It rolls its eyes. "Do you want ME to do it?"
Homelander looks up, hope obvious in his bright blue eyes.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
You don’t intend to start looking for him. It just… happens.
It begins with small, idle habits—clicking on articles about Vought’s latest scandals, scrolling through old news coverage, and watching grainy footage of staged rescues from years past. Your eyes search for him automatically, for that familiar streak of red and blue cutting through the chaos.
Then it escalates.
You start wandering the city at night, tracing the paths he once flew you along. You visit the rooftops where he used to land with a flourish, his cape billowing dramatically in the wind. You linger outside the exclusive restaurants where he once paraded you like a trophy, his smile razor-sharp as he soaked in the envy of the other diners.
But it’s not just the glamorous places.
You walk down seedy alleys and explore dark corners—the forgotten places he claimed as private retreats. The places where he could let his guard down, where the mask of America’s golden boy slipped.
It feels grotesque, this act of seeking him out. Like you’re willingly feeding the monster you swore you’d escape. You hate yourself for it, for the way your heart leaps at the thought of seeing him again, even if it’s just to tell him to his face that you’re done.
But you can’t stop.
You start putting yourself in danger—not consciously, but recklessly enough that it’s obvious even to you. Walking alone through neighborhoods that turn predatory after dark. Taking late-night trains without any plan or destination. Part of you hopes he’ll swoop in, cape flaring, to save you in one of his dramatic displays of power.
But he doesn’t.
Instead, one night, it’s Black Noir who finds you.
The alley is suffocatingly narrow, the air heavy with the mingling stench of rotting garbage and damp asphalt. The dim, flickering streetlight overhead barely illuminates the passage as two men circle you like predators. Their laughter is low and ugly, their shadows long and distorted against the brick walls.
You freeze, your breath caught somewhere between a scream and a sob, as one of them lunges toward you. You pray even now that he'll swoop in from somewhere.
And then he’s there.
Black Noir steps from the shadows like death itself. His arrival is so silent, so abrupt, that the men don’t even notice him until it’s too late. A gloved hand clamps down on one man’s shoulder, spinning him around with an almost casual effort. Noir doesn’t waste time. The blow is swift, brutal—a single strike to the man’s temple that sends him crumpling to the ground.
The second man barely has time to react, stumbling backward with a terrified curse. Noir closes the distance in an instant, his movements fluid and precise. A sharp crack echoes through the alley as the man’s arm is wrenched at an unnatural angle. He screams, but Noir silences him with a swift knee to the ribs. He falls, gasping and broken, as Noir turns to you.
The black Kevlar of his suit gleams faintly in the dim light, the contours of his armor making him seem more shadow than man. His helmet hides his face entirely, the opaque visor reflecting your terrified expression back at you. He stands perfectly still, his chest rising and falling with controlled breaths, his presence both menacing and oddly comforting.
You crumble to the ground, your legs giving out beneath you as adrenaline and fear collide in your veins. Relief washes over you, but it’s tainted by something darker—frustration, disappointment, an aching sense of abandonment.
Noir kneels on the ground to make sure you're okay.
“Why—why isn’t he here?” you sob, your voice breaking. The words spill out of you, raw and unfiltered, as you pound your fists weakly against Noir’s chest.
He doesn’t move.
“Why won’t he come for me?” you cry, your hands trembling against the hard, unyielding surface of his armor. “He’s supposed to be here. He’s always here.”
Noir doesn’t answer. Of course, he doesn’t. He simply stands there, a silent sentinel as your emotions spill over in a torrent of tears and ragged gasps. His helmet tilts ever so slightly, as if he’s observing you, but he offers no comfort, no words of reassurance.
You clutch at him like a drowning person reaching for a lifeline, your fingers curling around the slick fabric of his suit. The tears come harder now, soaking into the Kevlar as you press your face against him.
“I hate him,” you whisper through clenched teeth, though the bitterness in your voice is softened by the despair in your heart. “I hate him for leaving.”
Noir stands up, lifting you with him, and lets you go once he's sure you're standing straight. His silence is maddening. Why isn't he angry that you're being ungrateful? Why isn't he at least talking about Homelander disappearing? ANYTHING?
You finally step back, your hands trembling as you wipe at your tear-streaked face. Your gaze meets Noir’s visor, and for a moment, you imagine you see something there—pity, perhaps, or understanding. But it’s gone as quickly as it came, replaced by the blank, inscrutable void of his masked expression.
“Thank you,” you whisper hoarsely, though the words feel hollow. What you really want to say is, Why wasn’t it him?
Noir doesn’t react. He simply steps back, his movements as quiet and calculated as ever, before melting into the shadows.
You’re alone again, the weight of Homelander's absence pressing down on you like a physical force.
But... a thought creeps in. If Black Noir came, then Homelander must know, too. They all have access to the same intel. He knows where you are and what you’re doing, and still—still—he hasn’t come for you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

pairings: office worker! nanami x hyper-femme coworker! reader summary: nanami doesn't like sharing your attention warnings: no use of y/n, office/public sex, fingering, oral (f! receiving), jealous & possessive nanami, airhead reader, (not proofread)
nanami kento was the epitome of discipline and order. his life was a meticulously crafted routine, each minute accounted for, and each task executed precisely. from the moment he woke up at 5:30 am sharp to the time he retired to bed at 10:00 pm, every aspect of his day was planned to perfection. he thrived on structure and predictability, finding solace in the monotony of his well-organized life.
that was until you entered the picture.
you were a whirlwind of pastel colors (mainly shades of pink) and rhinestones, a hyper-feminine force that indirectly disrupted the rigid order of his world. your desk was a chaotic explosion of cute stationery, scented candles, and an impressive collection of lip glosses. you were always seen humming some catchy pop tune under your breath or mindlessly shopping during work hours.
as the days went by, you began directly disrupting his carefully maintained routine. you’d stop by his desk to chat about the latest episode of your favorite reality show or to show off your new nail art. at first, nanami found it incredibly annoying. he had work to do and deadlines to meet, and your constant interruptions were a distraction he didn’t need. but there was something about your infectious energy that he couldn’t help but be drawn to.
one particularly hectic afternoon, you appeared at his desk with a perplexed expression. “ken, can you help me with this spreadsheet? i think i messed it up,” you said, holding up your laptop. he sighed, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose, but he couldn’t deny the small thrill he felt at the prospect of spending time with you.
as he walked you through the steps to fix the spreadsheet, he began to notice little things. like how good your vanilla & coconut perfume smelt or how kissable your glossy lips looked as you pouted in concentration.
when you finally got the hang of it, you beamed up at him, your eyes sparkling with gratitude. “thank you, ken! you’re honestly the best!” you exclaimed, leaving him with an unfamiliar warmth in his chest.
from that day on, you made it a point to seek nanami out whenever you needed help. whether it was a technical issue or just someone to listen to your latest shopping haul, nanami became your go-to person. he tried to maintain his stern, no-nonsense demeanor, but he couldn’t deny the way his heart raced whenever you were near.
he was printing out a report when you breezed into the office, a vision in pink. you wore a white dress shirt, buttoned halfway up, offering a peek at the baby pink lace bra underneath. it was tucked into your mini tweed skirt that barely covered your ass. the look was completed with white thigh-high socks that clung onto you like a second skin and a pair of shiny white heels.
your outfit effortlessly drawing attention. though it was more suited for a garden party than a corporate environment. like usual, you greeted everyone with a cheerful “good morning!” that was met with a chorus of subdued replies.
nanami barely looked up from his copies as you always greeted him separately no matter where he was. always with a random treat that he just “had to try.” so, like usual, he waited for you to make your way to him, but you never came. instead, he found you by your desk chatting animatedly with another male coworker.
a pang of jealousy surged through him, twisting his usually composed demeanor. he knew he had no right to be jealous, but the sight of you talking to another man had stirred a primal instinct within him.
“morning," he said, his voice steady but firm as he walked over, placing himself in between you and the guy. "hope i’m not interrupting anything important."
“not at all,” you replied, flashing him a bright smile, unaware of the subtle change in the atmosphere.
“great, could i see you in my office?"
he didn’t bother waiting for a reply, confident that you would follow, and the distinct click of your heels echoing behind proved him right.
nanami's body was a mere few inches away as you closed the door behind you. his warmth radiating toward you, made you all too aware of the lack of physical space between you. his eyes, usually so calm and composed, now danced with a dominant look that was both thrilling and slightly intimidating.
“morning ken" you greeted like usual, trying to keep your voice even as your heart pounded. his proximity was intoxicating.
“morning sweetheart”
"you look lovely," his voice uncharacteristically playful as his fingers rubbed against the hem of your skirt, a gesture that was both comforting and possessive.
“but it seems i wasn't the first to tell you that this morning."
your cheeks flushed, warmth spreading through your body as you looked away, a shy smile tugging at the corners of your lips.
"only matters when you say it," you said sweetly, still avoiding eye contact, focusing on the way his fingers brushed your leg.
“is that so?”
his voice was low and gruff, hinting at the emotions he was trying to keep in check. his fingers still lingering on the fabric of your skirt as the scent of his cologne filled the space, a tantalizing mix of musk and something faintly sweet.
you nodded, feeling his hand move from the hem of your skirt to your chin, gently turning your face back to meet his gaze. the room felt smaller, the air thick with unspoken tension as your eyes locked onto his. you could see the hunger in his gaze, a mirror of your own.
"may i?" he asks, his voice gruff with need. his hand remained on your chin, his thumb tracing the outline of your bottom lip. his touch was featherlight, but the intention was clear.
you nod, unable to form words as your heart races. feeling a spark of desire ignite within you as you leaned into his touch.
“i need words, sweetheart,” he said, flexing his thigh. adding to the pressure against your cunt.
“what is it that you want?"
you gulped, eyes wide. the proximity was overwhelming, the warmth of his body pressing against you, his breath hot on your face. "i...i need you," you murmured, the words barely escaping your lips. "please."
with a groan, he claimed your mouth in a kiss that was as fierce as it was tender. his hand moving from your face to the small of your back, pulling you in tighter before lifting you off the floor. your hands gripping onto his shoulders, as he made his way to his desk.
the kiss was a declaration of need, of desperation, of a hunger that had been building for months. his tongue slid against yours, tasting and exploring as if he could never get enough. your body responding instinctively to the demand. the world outside his office door was forgotten as you lost yourself in the warmth of his embrace.
he places you down on the desk, your legs draping over the edge. the wood was cold against your skin, a stark contrast to the fire that had been ignited within you. his eyes raked over your body; the sight of you, flushed and eager, only fueled his hunger.
“ken,” you whined at the sudden absence of his warmth. your lips swollen from the kiss, eyes hazed with desire as you watched him drop to his knees. his hands slid up the inside of your thighs, pushing your skirt higher as he pulled your legs further apart. the scent of his cologne filled the room, mixing with the faint scent of your arousal.
he kissed the soft skin of your inner thigh, his eyes locked on yours, watching your every reaction. his mouth moved closer to your panties, his breath ghosting over the damp fabric, making you shiver. with a gentle tug, he pulled the lacy barrier aside, revealing your glistening pussy. his eyes darkened, pupils dilated, as he took in the sight of you, wet and ready for him.
"so fucking wet for me," he murmurs, his voice thick with arousal before leaning in to taste you. his tongue slid along your folds, teasing and exploring, as he held your gaze.
you gripped the edge of the desk, biting your lip to keep from crying out. the sensation was exquisite, a sweet agony that made your toes curl. his hands held you open, thumbs rubbing lazy circles around your clit, as he devoured you with a hunger that was both thrilling and terrifying.
"a-ah yes," you breathed, unable to form coherent sentences as his tongue delved deeper, hitting that spot that made your eyes roll back in your head.
"please, m-more," you begged, your hips bucking against his mouth. he chuckled against your skin, the vibration sending waves of pleasure through you, before obliging, his tongue curling and flicking, driving you closer to the edge.
“patience, baby,” he murmured against your sensitive flesh, the vibration sending another shockwave of pleasure through your body.
he knew exactly how to tease and taunt you, pushing you to the brink of insanity before giving you what you craved.
without warning, he slid a finger inside you, the sudden intrusion making you gasp. the digit was warm and thick, filling you in a way that made your legs shake. he stilled for a moment, allowing you to adjust to the new sensation before adding a second finger.
curling them slightly as he moved in slow, deliberate strokes, mimicking the rhythm of his tongue. the combination of his tongue on your clit and his fingers inside you was almost too much, but he wasn't about to let you cum just yet.
instead, he added a third finger, stretching you even further. the sight of his digits disappearing into your slick warmth was almost too much for him to handle, his own cock straining against the fabric of his pants. he could feel the pressure building, the tension coiling in his stomach, but he remained focused on your pleasure.
he continued his relentless assault, loving the way your muscles tightened around him. watching the way your body reacted to his touch, memorizing every twitch and whimper. with the sounds of his fingers sliding in and out of you filling the room. mixing with your muffled gasps and the wet smack of his lips against your skin.
"k-kenny," you panted, your voice shaking with need. you were so close, so incredibly close.
he noticed the desperation in your voice and felt a surge of satisfaction. he knew he had you right where he wanted you—on the precipice, begging for release. he picked up the pace, his tongue flicking faster, his fingers curling in a steady rhythm that had you gripping the desk tightly.
with one final, firm suck on your clit, he felt your body tense and then release in a cascade of pleasure. you came hard, your back arching off the desk, your legs wrapping around his neck. He held on tightly, lapping at your juices as your pussy contracted around his fingers. the sound of your cries filled the room, echoing off the walls in a symphony of ecstasy that only served to inflame his desire even further.
his fingers slow their rhythm, gently stroking your sensitive flesh as you ride out the aftershocks. your breath comes in ragged pants, and your eyes are glazed over with pleasure.
"ken," you whimper, your voice hoarse and needy. "more."

You Have No Idea
By ButchVampireHeimerdinger
It was the slow ending to an eventful shift at the last drop. Customers were in good spirits all night, likely due to a sudden influx of Piltie goods some gang had rattled up through more or less honorable means and was making its way through town. In any case, the energy was contagious and it had you, the buff and generally even-tempered server/bouncer, doing things you didn’t normally do. Like drink on the job — just a beer you had been nursing for over forty minutes — and fraternize with patrons. Y’know, other than the obligatory how are you, do you wanna pay out now or open a tab. Real actual conversations -- which led you to number three on the list of Things You Don’t Normally Do; you were hunched over the bar playing Texas Hold ‘Em with three regulars. Two were men, you didn’t remember their names, but they always came to the bar at about this time. A package deal — they snickered in your direction as a nearby shady-looking customer walked out on his tab.
“Hey, isn’t that your cue, tough guy?” The man gave you a patronizing sort of eyebrow raise as he dealt the next round.
Technically, it was. You got hired pretty much on account of your physique — you were 6’3” and a tank, always had been. Broad shoulders, biggest girl on the playground growing up, you gained muscle at the drop of a hat. You didn’t even try. But it was all for show. You were more of a lover than a fighter. Sometime in the first few months of the job the staff discovered you were better equipped to work inside the bar. Customers liked you because you were polite, a breath of fresh air from the culture of animosity that permeated the undercity. Still, it didn’t help your ego in situations like this. ”Hey, you don’t know what she’s got under her sleeve.” The third voice at the table spoke up. The right hand of Zaun. Sevika.
She had been a regular since before you started and probably would be long after. You had heard some pretty nasty stories about her and the things she was capable of. But when she came up to your counter for a drink, she came without malintent, always respectful to the waitstaff. It was disarming. Tonight, especially, your eyes lingered over her toned shoulders and sharp collarbones. You wanted to run your hands over them, to see how her body would react. And maybe it was the house IPA you had been drinking, but probably not.
Sevika gestured toward your dwindling pile of poker chips with her chin as she looked down, analyzing her hand. “Clearly, she must be the type to play the long game.” This earned her another light fit of snickers from bar idiots one and two, but they were easily impressed. You rolled your eyes.
Sevika raised two chips. The table matched. She spoke again.
“So, tough guy, do those arms of yours get you any female attention? Since you’re obviously not using them for any other tactile purpose,” her eyes traveled to the empty seat where the tab-skipper had been sitting.
You shrugged, suddenly warm and very aware of your body and not sure where to rest your gaze. “I get around.”
For some reason, tweedles dum and dee found this hilarious, and howls of laughter followed. You slapped your hand over your heart and feigned a look of deep hurt, to mask the bit of real hurt you were feeling. Yeah, it had been a while, but surely not long enough to warrant that response.
“Is it that implausible?”
Sevika chuckled and shook her head, but her expression was good-natured.
“Just make your move, Casanova.”
You had a full house. Three aces. Two kings. You matched, and didn’t raise.
Sevika raised, the men matched, and you folded.
The table revealed their hands and Sevika won the pile with a straight. Not a bad hand, but the round would’ve been yours if you had taken the risk. Sevika clicked her tongue, scolding you, which made your palms sweat. You averted her gaze and became suddenly interested in wiping down the bar.
Following your pitiful defeat, the two guys payed out, leaving the bar empty save for you, Sevika, and a couple stragglers who always stayed until morning and probably didn’t have anywhere else to spend the night. To your surprise, the woman beckoned you over once more. Something in your heart lifted. Something in your pants dropped.
“Blackjack?” She pushed the cards toward you, and her dominant sort of gaze made you feel, once again, compelled to do what she asked.
You won the first few rounds. Sevika was risky to a fault. If it wasn’t 21 exactly, trust she would draw. And she always made you the dealer, watching your hands intently, hungrily, even, as you shuffled. The third round was a tie, but she didn’t have anything left to raise.
“Tell you what,” she said. “You win this round and I’ll spread it around that I walked out on my tab, and you chased me down and kicked my ass for it. Should prevent other situations like our friend earlier, at least for a while.”
“Are my bouncer abilities really that pathetic?” You picked at the side of your nails. Sevika’s gaze pierced through you and you found it difficult to meet her eyes. But you didn’t necessarily hate the way her eyes took you in. Slowly and deliberately, like you were a battle map and she was trying to parse out her strategy.
“And if you win?” You looked up, all innocent. Maybe you imagined it, but your doe eyes seemed to rile her up a little bit. Something in the way her jaw shifted, the way she rubbed her flesh palm on her pants.
“Already planning for defeat? See, this is exactly your problem. You’re talking through a universe where you lose before we’ve even started.” She shoved her pile towards you again.
“Deal ‘em.” She commanded, you obliged.
“I’m serious! I just wanna know what I’m agreeing to. Fools rush in, and all that.” Your voice made everything sound like a question. With her, it was. Sevika was hard to figure out.
“You’re cute. If I win, I want…” The woman took a hit of the blunt she was holding and used it to gesture, her movements creating little loops of smoke that rose and dissipated. Her eyes followed them, and not you. For once.
“I want an hour. With you. N’ those arms.” You jerked while shuffling, accidentally knocking over your beer in your surprise. You picked it up quickly, hoping she didn’t notice.
“You serious?”
“Deadly. Fuck me up, Casanova.”
She won. Wasn’t even close. Three sevens, if you could believe it. As soon as you slapped the last seven down, you both shot up from the counter at light speed and she followed you to the back.
“A little eager, aren’t we?” Her voice was low and husky, but with a little something else.
“Sore winner,” was all you could think to respond. You shoved her lightly. She shoved you harder with her prosthetic arm. The two of you kept at it, pushing and shoving back and forth as you practically raced to The Last Drop’s back office. Play-fighting, like you were “one of the boys,” but it had a bit of a bite to it. Like you wanted to eat each other alive.
The office was hardly used except for the rare moments when staff wanted to crunch numbers. Or, of course, engage in extra-professional affairs like this one. That couch had seen some things. You fiddled with the key for what was apparently a moment too long.
“I’m getting bored out here, Casanova.” You looked into Sevika’s eyes through her thick brows, a couple inches below yours. You slammed your shoulder into the door and it gave way immediately, with a satisfying bang as it swung open. Sevika followed, grabbing you by the shirt as she brought your lips down to hers, hard, and kicked the door shut behind her without looking.
She dragged you toward her, her back pressed against the peeling drywall. Her tongue dragged against your bottom lip and something deep in your pelvis vibrated in anticipation. One of your hands reached up to the wall, to keep you both steady. Sevika grabbed your other hand and guided it under her tank top. You squeezed her breast, tracing over her nipple with your thumb. Your bodies pressed together and you brought your knee in between hers, rolling your hips forward and pressing your leg into her crotch. She moaned into your mouth. Like her voice, it was deep and gravelly.
You set a pace. Her hips seemed to agree with it, bucking upwards to get that friction where she needed it most. Her hands gripped your waist and hips as she started to manhandle you, making you move faster against her. Your kissing was frantic and sloppy, like there was anger behind it. Your lips shined with her spit, and you moved to kiss up and down her neck. She reacted with a throaty panting noise when you got to a sensitive spot — a fleshy and soft area where her jaw met with her neck. You twisted your head to the side and downward to get better access, to fully exploit that weakness. Without fully thinking through your actions, your sucking collapsed into biting. You drove your teeth into her neck and Sevika’s jaw shot upward as her panting became gasping. She grabbed the back of your head and pushed it harder against her neck to say what she couldn’t; more, more, more.
Your hands fumbled with her belt and she noticeably did not help you with it. It was like she got a kick out of watching you struggle. You finally got them unzipped and you reached under to start palming her through her boyshorts. She had already soaked through. Good.
You pulled away to look down at her again while tugging lightly at her waistband. You raised your eyebrows to ask, May I? Chin still tilted upward, she nodded, huffed out a “yuh” sort of noise, and hooked her leg around the back of yours to bring your chests closer, all rough.
You pulled down the panties and your fingers dipped into her folds. Sevika’s eyebrows knitted even closer together, if that was possible. You continued sucking and working that spot on her neck. Her lips were against your ear and you heard her panting grow more desperate, more melodic; whines and vocalizations mixed with the gruff and grainy rhythmic in-and-out of her breaths.
Your middle and ring finger sort of skated all around her entrance, just barely avoiding her swollen clit. You took in the sight — Sevika’s heaving chest, her eyes closed as she chased the pleasure you were giving her. Her moans grew to something not exactly desperate, that wasn’t like her, but deranged and shameless. She panted like she was breathing fire. And like she didn’t care if all of The Last Drop could hear her, even though they probably couldn’t.
The pulse of her hips grew a little more erratic and she shifted her legs like she was ready to switch positions. You gestured subtly with your head toward the couch, and she dragged you toward it.
The woman collapsed on it and rested her arms outward, elbows relaxed on top like it was a throne. She leaned as far back as she could as you helped work her pants and boyshorts all the way down until they dropped to her ankles. She pulled her shirt off with both hands, pulling it up and over from the back of the neckline. She threw the tank top to the side and all of the air left your lungs, as you took in the sight of her upper body. Where you were buff, she was cut. Unlike you, Sevika didn’t have the type of figure that was imposing simply by nature — her physique came from blood, sweat, and tears. She had the body of a bruiser, of someone who spent their life fighting. The Sevika before you made you realize why some of the patrons kept their distance. But it somehow made you want to get closer. It made you want to please her, and to be good at it.
Sevika had a manspread going and you dropped to your knees in front of her. But she wasn’t having that — not yet. With her flesh hand she grabbed you by the throat and dragged you up to her lips for another messy kiss. Your teeth clashed together and when your tongues made contact, you felt those butterflies low in your pelvis. You moaned into her mouth instinctively, and it came out higher and breathier than you expected. You felt her lips form a slight smile against yours and she released her hold on your neck, making you drop down to your knees. You were certain the impact must have shook the entire city block.
Breathing heavy, you went to start kissing and sucking at her inner thigh, but she tilted your chin upward to look at her. Breathless, she commanded,
“Take your shirt off for me, Casanova. I wanna see those arms while you… Yeah.”
You fought the smile forming and stripped for her. You took off your tank top and sports bra the same way she had — in one fluid motion, from the back. You were caught between a sudden wave of self consciousness and the urge to draw it out, to put on a show for her. You settled at maintaining eye contact as you subtly flexed for her, and placed your broad hands on her knees. Sevika smiled, all smug as she reached over to a nearby discarded vest, brought out the rest of her blunt, and lit up as her eyes poured over your exposed upper body. She inhaled deep using her metal arm, and with her flesh hand she traced over your biceps, satisfied.
All confident, you started on her inner thighs, taking your time. When your lips finally connected with her wet cunt, you heard her make a sharp exhale through her teeth. You kept going, first going over it all with a flat tongue, drinking in the moment, then using your tongue to explore her folds. Sevika let out a satisfied hum as you started sucking at her swollen, neglected clit.
That was when you brought your fingers up to her entrance, casually tracing, nothing else. That pissed her off.
Sevika slapped the top of the couch to get your attention. Your eyes snapped up to hers as she leaned forward to get all up in your face, with her signature sneer on.
“Did someone pay you to waste my time?”
You froze.
“That wasn’t rhetorical, I’m seriously asking you if some outside party with an interest in distracting me paid you to bring me here and do absolutely nothing with me.” You raised your eyebrows, eyes all wide and innocent. That made her groan, and she covered her face with one hand, your puppy eyes making her feel horny and desperate and a little guilty about snapping at you.
“Just. Fuck. Me.” She collapsed backward and you didn’t respond, just immediately did what she asked. You pushed your two fingers inside her without warning — hard. Again she exhaled through her teeth.
With your mouth, you continued giving her clit attention, and you pushed in and out of her, fingertips maintaining contact with her front wall, the one closest to you.
The sounds she made were pornographic, and it made you aware of the pool of slick that had established itself in the crotch of your boxers. Listening to her body, you gradually picked up the pace and you found Sevikas hand weave through your hair, grabbing you roughly at the scalp and pressing you closer and closer still.
Her face was angled toward the sky as she whined, her metal hand gripping the cushion tight enough to create what was probably going to be permanent ripples in the fabric. You brought her closer and closer and her grip on your head tightened as she bucked her hips upward, essentially fucking herself on your tongue and fingers. She occasionally let out a depraved vocalization that a trained ear might recognize as “fuck,” “don’t stop,” and “faster-FUCK faster.”
Until the pulse inside her cunt became erratic, and you felt a familiar tremor in her legs. You didn’t let up. You started fucking her deeper, with more pressure, using your tongue to play with her clit faster. Sevika’s thighs involuntarily snapped up to trap your head and you brought your hands up to brace them. Your tongue still moving as she cried out, loud and animalistic as she rode out her orgasm. Her thighs held you so tight against her pussy that you couldn’t escape if you tried, and the strength would probably have suffocated someone more petite.
Eventually, Sevika’s cries retreated back into deep panting and her legs dropped back to the floor, still trembling and spasming. She looked down at you, eyes half lidded, and gave you what could have been interpreted as a smile. She spread her arms back out on the top edge of the couch cushions, somehow still holding the half-smoked blunt. You shook your hair and a bit of ash fell out, which made you giggle. You were so invested in fucking her, you hadn’t noticed the active fire hazard against your skin the whole time.
With her chin, the woman gestured to the spot on the couch next to her. You settled in, your sides touching and your head leaning back against where her bicep was resting. She wrapped that arm around to bring the blunt to your lips.
“You can finish it, I don’t like the roach,” she said, and you obliged. You took a deep hit from her fingers and the last fiery bits assaulted your lungs, but you liked it. Sevika ashed it out on the couch, as if you hadn’t already desecrated it enough. You settled into a comfortable silence and she allowed you to lean your head on her pec, still uncovered. Until she spoke up.
“Promise me something, Casanova.” Her voice hoarse and gravelly from the earlier activities.
“Mm?” you responded. She wrapped her arm around you to reach up and ruffle your hair.
“Promise me you’ll never get good at cards.” You sucked your teeth and sneered back at her, giving her a hefty shove, which she gladly returned with equal force.

mascot cuteness.

September 2030 | 6 & 2 years old.
It was the first game of the season and Finley was already bouncing with excitement, standing in his mini Arsenal kit. Ellie bounced with energy too, her tiny kit slightly oversized but adorable nonetheless. Today was special—it was the first game of the season, and they both had insisted on being Leah’s mascots.
“All right, you two. Are you ready to go meet Mumma?” you asked, smoothing down Finley’s shirt while Ellie played with the hem of hers in the car park.
“Yeah!” Finley exclaimed, bouncing on his toes. His excitement was contagious.
Ellie clapped her hands together, looking up at you with a beaming smile. “Mumma! Go see Mumma?” she said, her little voice full of glee.
You smiled and nodded, grabbing your phone and checking the time. “Yeah, it’s time to go see Mumma. You ready to be Mama’s mascot?” you asked her, brushing a strand of her blonde hair out of her face.
She nodded enthusiastically, her eyes wide with excitement. “Beffy!” she suddenly blurted out, referring to Beth, who you were convinced she loved more sometimes. “Beffy? Me walk with Beffy?”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “No, baby, you're walking with Mama today.”
Ellie, however, wasn’t convinced. “Beffy!” she repeated, more insistently this time.
You sighed but smiled, knowing how much she adored Beth. “We’ll see, Ellie. Let’s go meet Mama first.”
You led Finley and Ellie through the bustling halls of the Emirates, eventually arriving at the tunnel. Leah was already there, alongside her teammates. When she saw the kids, her face lit up, and she walked over to greet them.
“There’s my bubbas!” Leah grinned, scooping Finley up in a quick hug before ruffling his hair.
“Mama!” Ellie squealed, reaching out for Leah, who knelt down to her level and gave her a big hug.
“Are you ready to walk out with me, Ellie Bee?” Leah asked.
Ellie looked up at Leah, then back down the tunnel. “Beffy!” she declared again, pointing toward where Beth was chatting with some of the other players.
“What no!” Leah playfully gasped, “You’re walking with Mumma and Finn!”
Ellie shook her head as Leah tickled her stomach, “No! Beffy!”
Leah raised an eyebrow and looked at you with an amused smile. “Guess I’ve been replaced,” she teased.
You shrugged, laughing. “She’s been asking for Beth all morning.”
Leah glanced over at Beth, who had heard Ellie’s little voice and was already walking over with a grin on her face. “Am I stealing a bubba?” Beth asked as she crouched down beside Ellie, who immediately toddled over and wrapped her arms around Beth.
“Looks like it,” you said with a chuckle. “Are you okay with it?”
Beth picked Ellie up effortlessly, balancing her on her hip. “Of course! Come on, Els bells.”
Leah shook her head, still smiling. “Guess it’s just you and me, bubba,” she said to Finley, “Are you excited?”
Finley nodded his head, “Yeah so excited! I can tell all my friends I got to walk out at the Emirates!”
You kissed Leah’s cheek with a smile. “I’ll be watching from the sidelines. Good luck.”
Leah smiled, giving you a quick peck in return. “Thanks, babe. See you after the game.”
With that, Leah took Finley’s hand, and Beth, carrying Ellie, followed the rest of the team toward the tunnel. You watched as they lined up, the music beginning to play over the stadium’s loudspeakers.
As they walked out onto the field, Finley looked so small yet so confident next to Leah, and Ellie—well, Ellie looked perfectly content in Beth’s arms, waving enthusiastically to the crowd next to Leah and Finley.
Once the teams had walked out and the mascots had done their part, Leah brought Finley and Ellie back over to you. Finley was still buzzing with excitement, while Ellie reached for you, clearly ready to settle down for the game.
“You did so great, Ellie,” you said as you scooped her up, resting her on your hip.
She snuggled into you, looking sleepy now that the excitement had passed. “Beffy,” she mumbled softly, resting her head against your shoulder.
You smiled and kissed her head. “Yes, you got to walk with Beffy, didn’t you?”
Leah leaned down to give Finley a high five. “I’ll see you after the game bubs. You were awesome out there.”
“Wasn’t scared at all, Mama!” Finley beamed, proud of himself.
Leah ruffled his hair again, then turned to you. “You heading up to the box?”
You nodded. “Yeah, we’ll watch from there. I’ll see you after the game.”
Leah gave you one last smile before jogging back to join her team for group photos. You took Finley’s hand and made your way up to the box, where Leah’s family was already waiting. Amanda, Leah’s mum, was the first to greet you with a warm smile.
“There they are, the stars of the show!” Amanda said, opening her arms to Finley, who immediately ran over for a hug.
Ellie, still on your hip, perked up at the sight of Jacob. “Snake!” she called out, her little arms stretching toward him.
Jacob grinned, reaching for her. “Hi Ellie Bee.” He settled her on his lap, and she immediately leaned against him, perfectly content.
You sat down with Finley on your lap, and the game began. Finley’s eyes were glued to the field, watching Leah with complete admiration. Every time Leah touched the ball, he’d point and shout, “That’s Mumma!”
The game ended in a win for Arsenal, and after the final whistle, you made your way down to the changing rooms. The atmosphere was buzzing with celebration, and you found Leah in the middle of it all, beaming.
“Hey,” she said, pulling you in for a hug, sweaty but happy. “What did you think?”
“Perfect game,” you replied, kissing her cheek. “And the mascots were a hit.”
Leah laughed, glancing over at the kids, who were now running around the room, Ellie chasing after Finley. “Yeah, even if I had some competition for Ellie’s attention.”
“She loves you both,” you said, wrapping an arm around her waist.
Leah smiled, watching the kids with warmth in her eyes. “Yeah, she does.”
Finley ran over, immediately hugging Leah’s legs, “Mumma, can we get pizza on the way home?”
Leah crouched down, “I’m sure we can sort something out, Bubba!” She then turned to Ellie and tickled her stomach, “What do you say, little miss? Should we get some pizza?”
Ellie giggled at Leah’s tickles, her little arms flailing as she tried to wriggle away. “Pizza!” she squealed, nodding her head vigorously.
Leah stood up, laughing, and looked over at you. “Guess it’s pizza night.”
You smiled and shrugged, “I think we’ve been outvoted.”
As the team began to leave, you helped gather the kids' things, making sure Finley had his jacket and that Ellie’s shoes were still on, which was always a challenge now that she knew how to take them off. Leah quickly changed and said her goodbyes to her teammates, promising to see them at training the next day.
As you made your way out of the stadium, Ellie clung to Beth’s hand, still not quite ready to part ways with her favourite person. “Pizza with Beffy?” she asked, her voice hopeful.
Beth smiled down at her, giving her hand a little squeeze. “Not tonight, Els. But I’ll see you soon, okay?”
Ellie pouted for a second before nodding, clearly tired from all the excitement. Leah scooped her up into her arms, and Ellie rested her head against her shoulder. Finley, still bouncing with energy, walked next to you, his little feet skipping as he talked about the game.
“Did you see when Mumma almost scored? She was so close!” he said, his eyes wide with excitement.
“I saw, buddy. She played a great game,” you replied, ruffling his hair.
As you loaded everyone into the car, Leah leaned over to you with a tired but content smile. “It felt good having you in the stands.”
“We loved it, although I think Els was more interested in pulling Jacob’s nose.” You laughed.
The drive home was filled with chatter about the game and plans for pizza. When you finally pulled into the driveway, Ellie was fast asleep in her car seat, her little face peaceful after such an eventful day. Finley, on the other hand, was still wide awake, already plotting what kind of pizza he wanted.
Leah carefully lifted Ellie out of the car and carried her inside while you wrangled Finley, who was still buzzing with energy. You ordered the pizzas while Leah got the kids changed, their tiny Arsenal kits now swapped for cosy pyjamas.
As the pizzas arrived, Finley devoured his slices, chatting animatedly about the game, already asking when the next one would be. Ellie, still half asleep, nibbled on a small piece before falling asleep in her highchair.
Leah smiled softly at the sight of Ellie, her head resting against the tray of her highchair, completely knocked out. “Looks like someone’s had a big day.”
You chuckled, wiping a bit of pizza sauce off Ellie’s cheek. “She gave it her all today. Walking out with Beth was her big moment.”
Finley, still wide awake and talking about the game, looked up at Leah with a big grin. “Mumma, can I be your mascot again next time?”
Leah laughed, reaching over to ruffle his hair. “We’ll see, buddy. Maybe you and Ellie can take turns.”
Finley scrunched his nose. “But I wanna do it every time!”
You smiled, wrapping an arm around Leah’s shoulders. “We’ll talk about it, Finn. Right now, I think we all need to get some rest.”
Leah stood up, stretching her arms over her head before carefully lifting Ellie out of her highchair. “I’ll get this one to bed. She’s not going to make it another minute.”
You nodded and stood to clear the table. Finley was still chattering away, following you around the kitchen as you tidied up. “Did you see when Mumma passed the ball, and it went all the way down the field? It was so cool!”
“Yeah, Mumma was amazing out there!” you said with a proud smile.
After cleaning up, you and Leah finally settled on the couch, Finley between you two. He was still awake, though his eyes were beginning to droop.
Leah wrapped an arm around him, pulling him close. “Alright, bubba. Time for bed soon.”
Finley yawned but snuggled into her side. “Okay, but just five more minutes.”
Leah glanced over at you with a smile. “Five more minutes.”

Hi I really love your writing! Not sure if you are taking any prompts, no worries if not!
I was wondering if you could something with Melissa x reader similar to Janine and Gregory where they both work at the school and maybe the reader is dating someone but they have a moment like the club scene or PECSA weekend.
Hope you're having a good day lovely human!
Not dead! Nor have I given up on writing or filling the prompts I still have to fill! But a weird thing did happen - I went to a hypnotist show with friends thinking I wouldn't be affected... Long story short, I remember the first fifteen minutes of the show. Apparently, I was in the show for the rest of it. So that was a thing. But that's not the weird thing. The hypnotist said that a side effect of his hypnosis is often a better ability to focus, a quieter mind and less anxious thoughts. I have to hand it to the man, his words seem to be true. An unexpected side effect of this for me though is that it turns out the noise and chatter in my mind actually helps me write my fics. Now it's all a bit quiet in there and it's been hard to get the words out. But, that doesn't mean I don't still love writing - so we're pushing through.
I do have a confession though - this story has two prompts noted at the top of it in my drafts and although I can't find any evidence that I've posted it under either prompt, if I have already posted this and somehow have missed it, please let me know and I shall take the duplicate down.
Anyway, enough about me. Enough rambling. I hope you enjoy!

It would be easier if she wasn’t nice to you.
If she wasn’t nice to you, she could just be the untouchable, hot as hell, fiery goddess you admired from afar.
But no. She let you sit with her and Barb at lunch. She even brought you lunch after a few conversations had strayed into discussing cooking and favourite recipes during said lunch breaks.
How were you meant to get over your ridiculous crush when she actually gave you the time of day? When she smiled like that? When her whole face lit up and she gestured so animatedly when she got caught up talking about something?
And as if that wasn’t enough, how were you ever meant to recover after seeing her so soft with her students? Going out of her way to open up to them and help them.
It was ridiculous, though. You knew that. What good was ever going to come of it?
Kid. That’s what she calls you. It’s a constant reminder of the age gap between you. Of the chasm that you feel you can’t even begin to cross when she sees you as some eager little kid.
You’ve always had a thing for older women. From those early, confused days of watching your on-screen idols, to realising you didn’t want to be them. You didn’t want to be friends with them. You just wanted them.
You want one in particular, but as you look across at her, her red hair ablaze in the sunshine, you force those feelings down once more. If friendship is what she’s offering you’re not about to beat her with that olive branch. You’ll deem yourself lucky and move on.
Even if she has ruined you for anyone else.
*~*
“You know,” drawled Barbara. “It’s beginning to become a habit.”
“What is?” asked Melissa, turning to face her friend with a frown.
“Staring at her,” said the older woman, eyebrow raised.
The red head scoffs. “As if. I don’t know what you think you’re seeing but that ain’t it.”
*
It was all said in jest to begin with. Gentle teasing about a few wayward glances. That was until Barb started to see her best friend be genuinely nice to you.
To begin with, she tolerated you. You weren’t one of the eager little puppies she so often saw when it came to younger new hires. That much was evident from the start. You were an old soul. You carried a different energy.
One that Melissa apparently appreciated just as much as the view. Barb stood beside her the red head as they watched over the kids leaving school, keeping an eye on the them as they left for the day, making their way to busses, rides or parents. Or rather, Barb was keeping watch over the children. A quick glance at Melissa confirmed that her attention was directed at you where you stood a little way off, chatting happily with a young girl about the book she was waving at you as she waited for her mother to collect her.
“Girl…”
“Don’t,” sighed Melissa, crossing her arms across her chest.
That took Barb by surprise. She had expected the red head to deny it. “You mean?”
“It’s stupid. She’s some pretty young thing and I’m…older than I care to admit.”
Turning to look at her friend, her expression sad, the older woman reached out and placed a comforting hand on the other woman’s arm. “And? What’s it called? A Spring, Winter romance?”
“May, December,” corrected Melissa automatically. “But same thing.”
“Exactly” said Barb. “There’s a name for it and everything. It’s a thing.”
“It’s not a thing,” huffed the red head, turning on her heel and heading back into the building. “It’s stupid and I’ll get over it, just like I do everything else in my life.”
*~*
You’re not sure you’re entirely on board for PECSA.
Out of school, things are different. Lines are blurred and you’re seeing a whole different side to your colleagues. You’re not sure if it’s liberating or terrifying. And that’s before you add in the factor of the other teachers who have also been set free from the constraints of the classroom and are now loose in the wild.
You’re sure your confusion must show on your face, particularly when at the end of one of the breakout sessions you find yourself caught up in conversation with a striking older woman who teaches at another school across town.
You don’t see Melissa at first, who watches the interaction with interest. She’s not used to seeing you outside of school, and it takes her back to realise that the woman is flirting with you. Openly and blatantly flirting with you. She’s touching your arm, leaning into you. Smiling and laughing.
In return, you know you’re blushing something terrible, especially when the woman hands you a page from her notebook with her number scrawled across it. Watching the woman walk away, throwing you a smile over her shoulder to you, you finally see the red head standing in the doorway where she said she’d meet you so you could head for lunch together.
“She not a bit old for you?” she asks as you approach, your blush still heating your cheeks.
You frown. “If she looks like that and thinks I’m hot enough to give me her number, they’re the numbers I’m interested in,” you reply, heading in the direction of the lunch buffet.
Barb overhears the comment, unable not to smirk at your flash of sass. “Jealous?” she asks, leaning into the red head’s space.
“Of what?” barks Melissa, crossing her arms across her chest as she watches you go. “Oh leave off!” she snarks at the older woman’s raised eyebrow.
*
How the day has gone from serious talks and breakout sessions to cocktails by the pool you’re still trying to wrap your head around. Adjusting your cover up, you head around the side of the pool, heading for the bar. You hope the day starts to feel a little bit more normal with a drink in your hand.
Gazing out over the water, you catch sight of Melissa. Or rather, you catch sight of a lot more of Melissa than you’ve ever had the privilege of seeing before. Not looking where you’re walking as your eyes drink in the magnificent view there’s no saving yourself as you step forward and your foot finds water instead of concrete.
“Is that?” Melissa asks incredulously at the dramatic splash that comes from the other side of the pool. She’s up out of her lounger before Barb can comment and the older teacher can only watch on in amusement as the red head storms off in your direction.
You pull yourself out of the pool, allowing yourself to perch on the edge as you try your best to ignore the chuckles of those around you who have noticed your mishap.
“What the fuck happened?”
You look up and of course Melissa is there. Right there, lit up in the sun like an angel, red hair haloed around her head. It takes a moment to realise that her eyes are roving over you, and not just your face. You glance down where your cover up now clings to your skin, almost see through.
Looking up you see Melissa blink rapidly a few times before offering you a hand. You reach for her, smiling as she helps pull you to your feet. “Thanks,” you smile sheepishly. “I guess I should go change.”
“It’s a pool, you’re allowed to be a little wet,” the red head smirks back at you. “Besides, we’re this close to the bar now, be rude not to take advantage.”
*
Melissa appears at the bar next to you with a huff, grumbling under her breath. Her attention is focused on trying to get the attention of the barman. Mumbling though she is, she’s speaking just loud enough for you to make out what she was saying.
“He was an ass,” you tell her, watching as her head whipped around, finally realising you were there.
“What?” she asks with a frown, already tipsy.
“Your ex,” you enlighten her. You may not have heard the comment that led to her current dip in mood, or ever have met the man, but you know enough.
Her frown only deepens. “You don’t know a thing about him.”
“I know he didn’t appreciate what he had and left you,” you offer, ordering a drink when the barman appears in front of you, before turning back to Melissa to ask what she wants. You find her looking at you oddly, her expression unreadable. She quickly snaps out of it and barks and order at the bartender.
*
Barb has had more than a few drinks, it would appear as she flags you down to sit with her as you pass her table.
“Sit, sit,” she smiles, trying to reach for your arm and push the chair out next to her at the same time in an uncoordinated matter.
Catching her hands, you still her as you slide into the seat beside her to placate her. Her gaze is a little unfocused, her words edging towards slurred. You hadn’t quite realised how drunk she was, but then again, looking around the room, it would have been more of a surprise for her to be sober.
“Don’t call that woman,” she tells you, leaning into your space.
“What woman?” you frown.
“That woman who gave you her number,” says Barbara like it’s obvious.
You try not to think about the fact that for Barb to know, Melissa must have mentioned it. That it’s been on her mind enough to mention it to the older woman. “Why not?”
“She wouldn’t like it.”
“She gave me her number,” you point out. “I don’t think she would mind.”
Barb shakes her head. “Not her. Her,” she says, nodding across the room to where Melissa is standing.
You cross your arms across your chest. “What has Melissa got to do with anything?”
Barb raises a single eyebrow, the action still smooth and effective despite her drunkenness and it makes you blush.
Averting your gaze, you shake your head. “It doesn’t matter what I feel,” you sigh. “She’s not…She thinks I’m some stupid kid.”
What you don’t see, is Melissa standing close enough behind your chair to catch your words.
*
Somewhere after speaking to Barb you decide that trying to be the sober parent of your little Abbott family just isn’t working. You’ve lost track of most of them, and honestly, you’ve given up trying to find them. They’re all adults and can fend for themselves.
You still have eyes on Barb and Melissa though, the former dancing up a storm and the latter apparently winning an ill-advised drinking competition.
Not that you can judge, of course. You know you’ve drunk more than you should, feeling pleasantly buzzed from your seat in the corner of the bar. You should call it a night before you do something you’ll regret, like call the woman Barbara told you not to. Sober, you wouldn’t. Drunk, you’re flattered enough and wouldn’t say no to the company.
With a sigh, you push yourself up out of your seat and head towards the elevators. Pushing the button, you watch the numbers light up as the lift descends. You squeak in surprise when a strong pair of hands land on your hips, turning you around as a plump pair of lips meet you own.
“I don’t think you’re some stupid kid.”
You blink slowly a few times, taking in the woman before you. Melissa. Melissa Schemmenti just kissed you. You shouldn’t, but you don’t have it in you to deny yourself the pleasure of feeling her lips against yours once more. You kiss her back with enthusiasm, not protesting when she backs you into the elevator as it opens and moaning as your back hits the wall of the small metallic box, the weight of Melissa pressed against you.
You’ve always admired her curves. Pressed against you they’re a dream.
The clearing of a throat far to close snaps you out of your living dream and you feel Melissa take a step back, biting her lip as she guiltily throws a glance over her shoulder, registering Barb standing in the elevator, her back to you both as if she hasn’t just witnessed exactly what you were both doing.
Standing close, you grin at the devious smirk being aimed your way by a certain red head. There’s a dangerous glimmer of mischief in her eyes. Smudged lipstick and mussed hair from where you hands couldn’t help but run thought it complete the look. The woman is a work of art.
You look up as the elevator doors chime open, realising this is your floor. Stepping forward, you slip past Barb, who merely raises an eyebrow. You throw a look back at Melissa, who sways forward as though to follow you, before hesitating.
The doors slide shut, and honestly, it’s probably for the best.
You miss the dark chuckle Barb lets out as the lift begins to ascend once more.
“What you laughing at?” asks Melissa, scowling. She’s annoyed with herself for hesitating. She knows what she wants, and she just let it walk out of the elevator.
“You two think you’re subtle?” the older woman drawls. “She has more of your lipstick on than you do.”
*
If PECSA was party central the night before, it was hangover central the morning after. You’re sitting outside on the low wall, sunglasses firmly in place, your phone in one hand and a bottle of water in the other as you take in the cool morning air.
“You regret what happened last night?”
You turn to see Melissa, similarly attired. “What?”
She comes to stand beside the wall on which you’re sat, her gaze wandering anywhere but you as she speaks. “I came to your room last night. You didn’t answer.”
“I didn’t hear you,” you admit, watching as her head whips around. “Too busy throwing up everything I ever drank.” You feel the blush dusting your cheeks, but continue. This feels too important to let a little embarrassment stop you. You take off your sunglasses so she can see your face as you speak, “I have many regrets about my choices last night, but what happened in the elevator isn’t one of them.”
A slow smile spreads across her lips as she shifts to take a seat next to you. She slips her own sunglasses off, finally letting you see her eyes. “Good to know,” she murmurs. “Me neither.”
You can’t help but smile at that. You notice her gaze wandering and realise she staring at the phone still clutched in your hand.
“You planning on using that number you were so interested in yesterday?”
“Honestly?” you ask, seeing the uncertainty in her face as she nods regardless. “That woman was hot, and while I was more than a little flattered she gave me her number…she isn’t a patch on you.”
Pale cheeks blush adorably pink at your words. Melissa isn’t used to hearing things like what from you.
“Don’t look so surprised,” you scoff, nudging her shoulder. “You’ve seen yourself in a mirror, right? And you needn’t think I go falling in pools over every pretty woman I see.”
“I really distracted you that badly, huh?” she asks, a little of her confidence returning.
You bump her shoulder with yours once more. “Shut up.”
A gentle hand moves to cup your cheek, turning you to face her as Melissa presses a gentle kiss to your lips. “For the record,” she says quietly. “I don’t think you’re some stupid little kid. I think you’re beautiful.”
You take in a shuddering breath. It all feels too good to be true. “What happens at PECSA stays at PECSA?” you ask sadly.
“I’ve never been one for playing by the rules,” she smirks back at you, pressing another quick kiss to your lips before pushing herself to her feet and offering a hand to you. “Come on, we gotta go find Barb. Reunite her with her shoes, sobriety and sanity.”
You take the hand being offered like a lifeline, grinning as Melissa starts walking, swinging your joined hands between you. It’s only as you pass through the front doors to the building that her words even register. “Wait? Her shoes?”

It's A Man's World Chapter 7 (Nice)
Warnings: Flirting slightly, no smut, slow burn, injury (nothing major or no injury to Joe) slight blood mentioned. Lots of Sports talk.
Word Count: 2,930 (Overboard)
A;N Have a Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🧡
Today is a pivotal day—the last game of the season, and it’s a nail-biter. With a record of 90-75, the stakes couldn't be higher. If we lose, there's still a flicker of hope for a wild card spot. But a victory? That would catapult us straight into the Divisional Championship Game, a dream scenario for any player.
On top of that, I have the incredible opportunity to watch Mr. Joe Cool in action, whom Mia playfully calls my “Future Husband.” Back in college, I was a dedicated fan, never missing a game where he showcased his extraordinary talent. Every time he stepped onto the field, I was mesmerized and captivated by his grace, skill, and looks if you know what I mean.
As I enter Truist Park, an electric energy fills the air. There's a palpable buzz among the fans, an atmosphere that feels almost tangible like anticipation hanging thick and heavy. It's a feeling that's hard to articulate but ignites something deep within me.
Stepping into what could be one of the biggest games of my life, the weight of the moment hangs around me like a cloak. While many might crack under such intense pressure, I choose to thrive in it. The doubters, the naysayers—they only serve to fuel my determination. Their negativity pushes me to dig deeper, to push harder, to give everything I've got. Today is more than just a game; it’s a chance to shine.
The game began on a strong note, with both teams holding their ground during the first couple of innings. Now, we find ourselves at the bottom of the third, and I'm stepping up to bat.
As "Do I Do" by Stevie Wonder plays, I approach home plate with a focused demeanor, considering my options for this at-bat.
Mark Andrew, the pitcher for the Washington Nationals, prepares himself on the mound as my walkout song fades and I assume my batting stance.
He takes a deep breath and delivers his pitch. I notice it's outside the zone, so I refrain from swinging and let the ball pass.
“1 and 0 is the count,” the umpire calls from behind me.
I get myself ready again as he gears up for his next pitch. He winds up and throws once more.
I swing but miss as the curveball passes by.
“Strike!” the umpire shouts.
I nod in acknowledgment and take a step back. That was the pitch I had anticipated; he boasts one of the best curveballs in the league right now.
I step back into the box a raise my bat. ‘Come on, give me something to hit,’ I said in my head
He threw his next pitch, and it all happened so fast. One moment, I was watching the ball being thrown for me to hit, and the next, I found myself on the ground, holding the side of my head because I had just been hit by a baseball. My helmet absorbed most of the impact, but when a baseball comes at you at 95 miles an hour, you definitely feel it.
A gasp swept through the ballpark as the scene unfolded. The catcher immediately waved for a trainer from my dugout before leaning down and putting a hand on my shoulder. “Hey, can you hear me? Are you okay?” he asked.
For some reason, his voice sounded distant, and I couldn't respond. I just nodded, still holding the side of my head. I guess my helmet flew off when I hit the ground.
Soon, the trainer arrived with a towel. “That was a hard hit. Do you think you can roll over?” he asked, but again, his voice sounded muffled. So, I nodded once more, and they helped roll me over.
I groaned in pain as they rolled me onto my back. Finally opening my eyes, the ringing in my ears stopped, and my hearing returned to normal. “Fuck,” I groaned, hoping the microphones on the field didn’t pick it up.
Justin squatted down next to me. “Hey, we need to get you to the trainer's room. That ball got you pretty good.”
Taking in his words, I moved my hands from my face. “Shit,” I gasped as I noticed my glove was stained with more than just dirt; I was busted open.
I managed to sit up while the trainer pressed a towel against my head. Damn, I’d rather be hit with tennis balls than this—at least they had some cushion.
With their help, I slowly got to my feet as a round of applause filled the stadium. This was definitely not how I envisioned my day going.
Unfortunately, I found myself benched after that incident, nursing a fresh set of stitches on my forehead. While I was grateful there was no concussion or major head injury involved—just a wayward pitch that went terribly wrong—I couldn’t help but feel the sting of frustration. Mark was the pitcher, and I held no grudges against him; I knew it wasn’t intentional. Just hours earlier, we’d been laughing and joking around, sharing inside jokes and pre-game camaraderie. But that’s baseball for you; sometimes, in the heat of the moment, a pitcher loses their grip, and you end up taking a hit.
It was the bottom of the ninth inning, with the air crackling with tension. The scoreboard lit up with a nail-biting 3-3 tie. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation as two outs hung in the balance. Austin stepped up to the plate, a determined look on his face. My pinch replacement, Tommy Reese, was on deck, stretching and warming up, ready to step in if the situation called for it.
Over at first base, Ronald Acuña Jr. stood poised, his athletic frame ready to explode into action. All Austin needed to do was make solid contact with the ball and drive it into the outfield. With Ronald’s incredible speed, we all knew he could beat the throw home.
As the closer took his position on the mound, I felt my heart racing in sync with the crowd’s energy. He shot a quick glance back at Acuña before winding up to pitch to Austin.
Austin stood firm, carefully checking his swing as the first pitch sailed by—ball one. It was a good start, and my confidence began to build.
I leaned forward, elbows digging into my knees, every muscle in my body tense with expectation. This was it—the moment we had all been waiting for.
The pitcher glanced once more at Ronald, then took a deep breath and delivered the next pitch. It was as if everything slowed down for just a heartbeat. Austin, eyes locked on the ball, swung with ferocity and precision. The crack of the bat echoed like thunder as the ball soared into the air, arcing gracefully toward the outfield. It sailed further and further until it disappeared into the majestic waterfall display at the park.
A walk-off home run! Victory was ours!
The stadium erupted into a wild celebration, a thunderous roar that sent vibrations through the very ground beneath us. It felt as if the entire stands shook with joy and excitement. Everyone from the dugout charged the field, sprinting toward home plate, united in the thrill of triumph as Austin rounded the bases, his expression a blend of disbelief and exhilaration.
I stood just outside the circle, wise enough to be cautious with my stitches, but that didn’t stop me from celebrating with every ounce of energy I had. I cheered and clapped, sharing in the jubilant atmosphere that surrounded me.
We were heading to the NLDS, baby!
As I settled into my seat for the post-game press conference, I offered a soft but warm greeting to the room, a subtle “hello” that echoed in the anticipation-filled space.
One of the reporters, a familiar face I would later come to know as Dave, leaned forward and asked, “Riley, how are you feeling right now?”
I let out a light chuckle, a mix of relief and exhilaration washing over me. “Honestly, I’m feeling great! The adrenaline is really pumping through me right now, so I’m not even feeling this,” I said, gesturing lightly to my head. “But overall, I’m feeling good.”
From the back of the room, a voice rang out, filled with curiosity. “How proud are you of Austin?” A woman inquired, her tone sincere and warm.
A broad smile broke across my face as I thought about my brother. “I’m incredibly proud of him. That’s my twin right there,” I replied, injecting a bit of humor into the moment. It was a playful reference to the nickname we had given each other for our shared last name.
Laughter erupted around the room, lifting the spirits of everyone present. Just as the chuckles faded, another reporter asked, “When you got hurt earlier, the team looked visibly shaken, but they managed to pull themselves together. How do you all stay focused and regain your composure in such moments?”
I took a breath and nodded firmly.
I nodded firmly. “No matter how much I’m hurting or how tough things get for the team, we stand by each other, always. When you train with the same group through the spring and share the field with them through the summer. A strong bond forms. So whether we win or lose, when you underestimate us, we step onto that field and prove that we are just too nice for yall”
“Girl, you okay? I saw you got knocked upside the head,” Mia asked from the other side of the phone on her way home from work.
Leaning my head back against the headrest of the car as Kyle drove to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, I replied, “Sis, I’m cool. I got a few stitches. I'll be fine in a couple of days.”
“Alright, if you say so,” she sighed. “Are you still going to the game?”
“Pulling up to the stadium as we speak,” I responded, looking out the tinted window.
“Alright, be careful; tell Ja’marr and Joe I said hi,” she said.
“Yes, Mom,” I replied, rolling my eyes. “And I will.”
We hung up just as Kyle pulled into the private parking lot. He looked up in the rearview mirror and asked, “Ready?”
“Let’s get this show on the road,” I replied, putting on my shades. He nodded and got out to open the door for me. “Are you sure you don’t want to come?” I offered.
He smiled and shook his head. “No, I’m fine. I’m a Cowboys fan anyway,” he said.
I feigned a shocked look. “Wow, I’m hurt, Kyle,” I said, shaking my head.
“Sorry, not sorry,” he replied, getting back into the driver's seat.
As I walked into the stadium, security guards escorted me to a private box. It was about thirty minutes until kickoff, and fans were filling the stands, ready for some Thursday night football.
When I entered the box, I noticed a few women already there. At first, I thought the guard had led me to the wrong room, but they reassured me that I was in the right place and welcomed me in. During our conversation, I quickly learned that they were WAGS.
“So, which one are you here for?” one of the women asked. I learned her name was Emma.
I shook my head. “Oh, I’m not dating anyone on the team. Joe, Ja’marr, and I all went to college together, so I'm just here to watch them.”
Speaking of the devils, there they were, taking the field for pregame warm-ups. My eyes drifted to Joe in his uniform. He really looked good in everything—the way his hair fell perfectly and how his tights gripped his thighs.
Girl, get ahold of yourself.
“You okay?” Lexi asked to my left with a slight chuckle.
“Yep... just great,” I responded, crossing my legs to calm myself down somewhat.
Joe started looking around the stadium until he finally found me. When he did, he tapped Ja’marr on the back, said something in his ear, and pointed up at me.
I waved at both of them, and they waved back before turning their attention back to their warm-ups.
God, help me.
The score was 27-27 in the 4 quarter with just 60 seconds left on the clock and the Bengals had the ball if I know Joe he does not want to take this thing into overtime at all.
I sat there holding my breath as the ball was snapped into Joe's hands he looked around the field before he threw a Hail Mary pass to the in-zone hoping someone would catch it and ill be dammed.
Tee Higgins caught that ball at what was the last possible second to give the Bengals the touchdown.
The stadium goes crazy, and so do I. The Bengals just won the game with that play. There was only time for the kick for the extra point.
As Joe made his way back to the sideline he pointed up to my box with a nod. I nod my head back with a smirk, something we did back in LSU as to say,y ‘Who they think they playing with’
The Bengals walked into Atlanta and got the dub 34-27.
After things calm down a bit, security takes me down to the field. I immediately spotted Ja'marr's back talking to Joe. They said Joe and I were thick as thieves. Every time you turned around, these two were together.
Deciding to mess with Ja'marr a bit I ran and jumped on his back.
“What the hell,” he said confused at first then he heard my giggles “Girl if you don't get off of me,” he said in this fake serious tone.
“You'll be okay,” I patted his chest. “Congrats on the dub, you two,” I said, hoping down.
“Thanks same to you, Divisional huh?” Ja’marr congrats me.
I nodded my head with a slight smile. “She's going to get a ring before us, Joe,” Ja’marr said with a fake cry.
I shook my head at him. “You sure he didn't get tackled too hard.”
Joe played along, “You know, been asking myself the same question all season.”
Ja’marr’s jaw drops dramatically. “You know what? I'm going to hit the showers 'cause yall doing too much.”
He walked through the tunnel before he disappeared. “Thought you weren't coming. saw you got hit earlier,” Joe said, turning his attention to me his eyes going straight to the bandage on my forehead.
Looking up at him even though I'm 5 '7 Joe still had a couple of couple inches on me. “I wasn't going to let a hit stop me from seeing you.”
He turned his head, and I could tell he was fighting a grin because the corners of his mouth twitched. “Just me?” he asked.
I pretend to think about it for a minute. “Well, you and Ja’marr if you want to throw him in there, but mostly you.”
He laughed, shaking his head. “I won't tell him what you said,” he said, his eyes meeting mine.
I shrugged. “It's ok, he knows.”
Joe and I continued talking for a minute before his name was shouted out of the tunnel by a Bengals staff member
He turned his head, and I heard him slightly curse “You totally forgot you had a press conference didn't you” I asked trying not to giggle.
He nodded his head “Yep,” he said, popping the “P”
I shook my head. Joe had a one-track mind. He shouted to the person calling for him “I'll be there in a sec” then turned back to me.
“Duty Calls,” he opened his arms for a hug, and of course, I gave him one. Closing the gap, I hugged back despite the bulk of his gear.
It was like home, ignoring the sweat and the smell of grass and mud. I could smell the faint scent of his cologne it just felt all too familiar.
To my dislike we had to let go “Text me when you get home” he said releasing me. I didn't get a chance to respond before he was off toward the tunnel.
Yeah, I guess I will
After popping a Tylenol for my head, I climb into bed, ready to call it a night, but not before reaching for my phone and opening my text messages.
Me
I'm home.
Joe Burrr 🧡
Good. Started to get worried for a minute.
Me
Sorry after the game my head was screaming at me.
Joe Burrr 🧡
Did you take something for it?
Me
Took a Tylenol. Hasn't let me down yet.
Joe Burrr 🧡
Good..You're not going to miss any of your games right?
Me
Naw I'm too tough and got too much on the line to be benched now. I'll be ready come next week.
Joe Burrr 🧡
I know you will but just come out the next one without a hit to the face.
Me
I will try to avoid those the best I can 🫡
Joe Burrr 🧡
Please do. You have to pretty of a face for someone to be playing target practice.
Me
Watch it Joe
Joe Burrr 🧡
What! All I did was give my friend a compliment on her amazing looks.
Me
Well I thank you but now I wanna know what's your favorite look on me?
Joe Burrr 🧡
Any look you have on is my favorite. Ri.
Me
Ok, I'll give you that one
For now…
Joe Burrr 🧡
Maybe I'll have an answer for you in a couple weeks

Hello, I just got an idea for a request from the Disney movie Finding Nemo, I'm thinking about a story like the beginning of the movie where Nemo is waking up his father but instead it's with Jiaoqiu and the reader, who's always been a bundle of energy but seemed to be ten times more excited than usual because of the wardance, during the 2.4 quest, he took the reader on as his student but he does view them as his own child. You don't have to do it if you don't want to I just thought it'd be cute
Guided by Small Joys
Summary: As the preparations for the wardance begin, Jiaoqiu finds himself stirred from his peaceful morning by his ever-energetic student, you. Despite his initial reluctance, he is quickly swept up in your infectious excitement and reminded of the hope and joy that still exist even amidst the hardships of war.

A/N: Never watched Finding Nemo, so I had to change it change it a bit, hope you like it!!
The early morning haze had just begun to lift over the Xianzhou Yaoqing, bathing the serene alchemical gardens in soft, golden light. The air carried a crispness, promising a beautiful day ahead. Jiaoqiu sat cross-legged in his quiet study, his hands resting gently on his feather fan. Even blind, he always seemed to know the exact moment the sun crept over the horizon.
He had been awake for some time, savoring the stillness before the world stirred. But his quietude was interrupted by the sound of hurried footsteps outside his door, light but unmistakable. He smiled faintly.
"You're up early." he remarked before the door even slid open.
The response was an explosion of energy. "Jiaoqiu! Master Jiaoqiu! Wake up—oh, wait, you’re already awake! But still! Guess what? Guess what?"
The sheer enthusiasm in your voice made him chuckle. "Good morning to you too, little firecracker. What could possibly warrant this much excitement at dawn?"
"It's the wardance today!" you exclaimed, practically bouncing into the room. "I can't believe you forgot! Everyone's getting ready, and I just knew you'd want to be the first to hear about it!"
Jiaoqiu tilted his head, his ears twitching slightly at your words. "Ah, the wardance. How could I forget something you’ve mentioned no less than twenty times this past week?"
You laughed sheepishly, your energy undiminished. "Well, I had to remind you! It’s only the most exciting event ever! There's music, dancing, sparring demonstrations—oh! And the food! You’re coming, right? You have to come!"
Jiaoqiu sighed dramatically, though the corner of his lips quirked up in a teasing smile. "I suppose there's no convincing you to let me enjoy my morning in peace, is there?"
"Not a chance!" You grabbed his hand, your excitement infectious. "Come on, let’s go! The preparations have already started, and I promised to help set up. You said learning balance and coordination was part of my training, remember?"
"Did I?" Jiaoqiu teased, allowing himself to be pulled up. "Very well. Lead the way, little one. But do try not to trip over your own feet in your enthusiasm."
"I won’t!" you declared confidently, though Jiaoqiu could sense your barely-contained giddiness.
As the two of you stepped into the morning light, Jiaoqiu let out a soft sigh, the warmth of the sun against his skin a welcome reminder of life's small joys. You had been his student for some time now, and though your energy often wore him out, he found himself deeply fond of your spirited nature. In truth, it reminded him of something he thought he'd lost—a spark of hope, a reason to keep moving forward.
"Master?" your voice broke through his thoughts.
"Hm?"
"You’re smiling," you said, a note of wonder in your tone.
He chuckled. "Am I? Perhaps it’s because your enthusiasm is so blinding that even I cannot help but see it."
"Hey!" you protested, but your laughter soon followed.
As you guided him toward the bustling heart of the wardance preparations, Jiaoqiu couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude. In a world fraught with loss and sorrow, your boundless energy was a gift—a reminder that, even in the midst of chaos, there was still light to be found.
And for today, at least, he would let himself bask in it.

UConn vs Ole Miss
imma just do a player breakdown cause i think that's the best way to break this one down. sorry but this is gonna be rambly.
paige: i mean i gotta address the obvious, pretty sure she tied her career high for turnovers, when i saw that stat i was hoping i would watch and see that maybe there were other things that led to them, but honestly all of them were her fault and just dumb errors, she did good with the physicality of old miss, but that wasn't surprising, she's still over-helping on defense too much. i also hate seeing her go from floor general to standing around any time she's on the floor with kkm but i think that might be a coaching thing.
azzi: oh how i loved this. firstly, big dawg az is basically averaging 1 block a game since her return, i know this is the boring part but i'm such a nerd for good defense and seeing how much she looks like her old defensive self from like hs has me geeking. i love seeing how smart she plays. in the past, she's gotten in her head when shots aren't falling and either just stopped shooting or kept settling for the three. seeing someone so notorious for that to be the one lifting them out of the 0-15 run just made me tear up. loved seeing her drive and cut, while also still taking a few 3's. i would love to see her take a few more middy's in the next game cause those are always beautiful.
sarah: strong first half, but they definitely targeted her in the second and she got clamped. however because of what she's shown, i am excited to see how she responds to that. also, the 3 ball... i like that she's not afraid to shoot, but i think after 4 misses, especially as a post-player, it's time to cut your losses. defensively she still looked solid, even when they were being aggressive.
jana: i mean with her size, just having her on the court helps this team, especially against aggressive teams like ole miss. you could really see her trying to stay disciplined on defense and not foul and it showed. one of the fouls she got called on was actually bs, but i'm glad she didn't get heated over it. i love her fiery energy on the court and i think it's a good compliment to a lot of the quieter people on the court. she only got 3 fga but she was 100%, which was her biggest problem last time. however, i need her shooting freethrows every day. especially as a center, it is so easy to get fouled and those need to be easy points.
ice: this was her best defensive game i've seen so far. she took to aggression from ole miss really well and was reacting a lot faster. what i've noticed so far from ice is that she is either doing well on offense or defense, but she hasn't had a game where she's contributing on both ends of the floor. i also think she could maybe work on her handle and be able to not be so stationary on offense. jana's taller and is still able to move with the ball more. i think she's lucky she never got double-teamed and stripped, because she won't move with the ball. also there is no world in which she needs to be attempting more than one 3 a game. overall glad to see her improving each game, even if it is incremental.
kaitlyn: gosh this one hurts me. it's harder watching her not score more, when we've seen all that she's got in her bag and she's typically on the floor with another pg. defensively i think she was great and i think both of her fouls were smart and not the typical dumb stuff. i would still take her over kk, just because of her level-headedness and leadership, but with azzi back in the mix and multiple players who can switch between guard and forward, she's not really making an argument for why she should be on the court over others.
ashlynn: liked to middy instead of the regular 3, but zero 3pta's for her is just dumb. at this point i would rather see lower efficiency and just take more shot attempts, but mixing it up between 3's, middy, and getting to the rim. on the postive, i did notice she went under less screens in this game. even though she's improved tremendously on defense, that was an old habit that came back last game and i was happy to see the adjustement.
kk: i'm sorry but i'm just not seeing it. she just has to have more to offer the team offensively than passing and layups, especially being so small. stronger defensive teams are gonna continue to block her shot. i thought we were finally seeing her experimenting with a little floater, but haven't seen that in a bit and the middy and 3 pt shot are still nonexistent. very reminiscent of nika, but at least nika had more of a leadership and aggressive quality to her that helped with the team's energy. i just really cannot see her running this team next year. also putting her on the court now just takes paige off the ball which is the last thing this team needs. i simply cannot see why she is over 10 minutes when morgan is a better defender and allie can shoot.

Assumption: You have never ridden a horse.
Oooo, this is a fun one, salkfjas
I have! I've ridden more than one horse, more than once.
(Actual storytime) (This is from the Assumptions meme!)
In late highschool and in the few years after I had a close friend who owned a horse (Billy) and agisted him, and was responsible for him. She basically was allowed to get him when she got her driver's license.
I was the kind of friend (and still kind of am, energy willing) that you could drag around to all your chores and I'd just be there. So I'd be there when she went shopping. I would be there when she went to get horse food. I would be there when she did homework. I would be there when she went to visit her horse and brush him down and feed him etc.
I helped with basic chores and watched from the sidelines and mostly hung out with her dog, Huskee, who was not a husky, but a borderline collie x corgi who barked nonstop at that horse, who she alas, could not herd.
Through this friend I actually learned about Natural Horsemanship, to the point where I actually went to a couple of Pat Parelli seminars (run by Pat) in like 2000/2001. It was the thing that really sparked my interest in animal training, especially humane, fear free animal training (and clicker training specifically, since Pat was teaching marker training at the time, and said friend started using it on their dog, Huskee).
I never rode, for a long time, because I was happy on the sidelines, and also I went there so my friend could ride her horse, not so I could like, steal her horse out from under her lol. I don't think her horse liked me very much anyway (later I'd find out that was pretty much true, it was a zero respect relationship, maybe he knew I was a doormat lmao).
Anyway, said friend had another friend who was extremely horse intense, and she got her own horse (Coda) , that she then never really took the time to ride. Coda was kind of nuts. Billy was the kind of horse who walked so slow you felt like you were going backwards, Coda had one speed: gallop. Coda and Billy got on great.
But Coda was pretty neglected, and so I often spent time with him while my friend did her chores with Billy. I was used to bringing out food, or changing water etc. so I did that for Coda sometimes. And after a while, friend was like 'it would be cool if we could trail ride together, how about you learn on Billy first since he's so slow and sedate.' And friend was like 'I'll ride Coda because I have more experience.' This made sense! She wanted me to stay safe!! But...
Billy was slow, sedate, and did not give a shit about me. This is a horse that stepped on my feet (on purpose), who deliberately angled towards low-hanging branches to scrape me off the saddle (hilarious, but also not really), and made it clear how much he wasn't interested in anyone else riding him in the most passive aggressive way a horse possibly can.
Coda, on the other hand, had a reputation for being wild and unstable. He'd tossed multiple riders more than once, hadn't been trained with Natural Horsemanship (like...kind of? But not really) and was not halter-broke by the time friend-of-friend got him, so just getting him to accept a halter and a saddle at all was huge, and anything beyond that was like 'welp, good luck.'
However, it was obvious trying to do anything with me and Billy was not going to work out. So...Coda it was.
And idk how to explain it, but Coda and I just got along. It was on the other hand terrifying, because his default movement was 'canter' and all he wanted to do, all he wanted to do, was gallop up and down granite hills as quickly as possible and spook at fucking everything. It wasn't his fault, he wasn't taken out much and he had that kind of personality. He once saw a kangaroo in the distance and spun a full 360 degrees, and I ended up half off him, hanging on for dear life, while friend just stared at me and said: 'how did you not fall off, that was insane. You might actually be good at this.'
Well. No, I wasn't, I just had a good grip, lmao.
So we went on extremely stressful trail rides together. Billy thankfully curbed some of Coda's GOTTA GO FAST instincts but only to a point, so I had to be pretty hypervigilant nonstop because that dude bunched his hindquarters what felt like every ten seconds, and I can't really blame him, it's what he loved to do most. He was just a terrible horse to learn to ride on, lmao, even if we did get along.
I haven't ridden since and honestly haven't felt much of an inclination to. I'd be too heavy now anyway. And I'm pretty certain I'd be bad at it. When your first experience is 'placid horse who generally accepts everyone but stares at you in a desultory manner and makes sure you know - while feeding him / brushing him / watering him etc. - that you do not matter in the grand scheme of things' followed by 'I like you! NOW I WILL FLING MYSELF DOWN THIS GRANITE HILL WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WE ARE ALL SCREAMING IN EXCITEMENT AND NOT FEAR' you think 'actually I don't need to ride the murder ponies, it's fine.'
Anyway, yeah, I have ridden a horse.
#asks and answers#personal#things i learned in short order is that i don't like most horse people#they are some of the most opinionated folks (in a not good way) i've ever met#horses are expensive#they're pretty easy to clicker train#horses have very clear ways of letting you know they don't like you#that aren't violent outright but still can cause harm#Connemara mares are really nice (not mine or friend's horse)#(but pony of owner of stables where we agisted)#Pat Parelli is cool and he was very patient with me#and a little bewildered as to why i was at his ticketed seminars#(my friend paid for me to go so she could have some company)#when i had no horse and didn't want to ride one but asked polite questions#and when he saw me the second time he was like 'u have a horse yet'#and i was like 'no sir i do not'#he was nice to me anyway#i lived a lot of life in a very short period of time when i was younger sdalfkjasd

Tim's and Konnor first kiss
Context: This is just my headcanon where Tim did date Konnor, it didn't work out and then later when he fully realized he was bisexual and reconnected with Bernard he started dating him. Because why pick on ship when you can have both and write ship script fics about it? Plus I do secretly headcanon Tim as being the opposite of Jason and he's great at dating and flirting even when he's being a nerd. Tim is the third Robin and has been questioning his sexuaility, but finds himself attracted to both genders and he has though Konnor was foine! Issue is while Konnor has been out of the closet for a few years, Tim isn't sure the superhero would want to be with him. So he shoots his shot, will he get that kiss?
Red Robin yawned as Konnor Kent discussed the plan to sneak into LexCorp. Though he usually managed three to four hours of sleep, sometimes exhaustion crept in. Still, he wasn't complaining—he was next to Konnor. The boy's effervescent energy always kept him focused.
Konnor (eagerly): If we go here, here, and here, we can drop down there and take them out. That way, we get everything squared away.
Robin glanced over the blueprints Konnor had drawn himself and nodded.
Robin (genuine): Good plan.
Konnor (surprised): That's it?
Robin (casually): Yeah. Were you expecting me to say something else?
Konnor (confused): You usually pick apart other plans, and by the end of it, the whole thing is changed. You do a good job at that—don’t get me wrong—but there’s nothing you want to fix on mine?
Robin chuckled, resting his arm on the table.
Robin (light-hearted): For others, I would, but yours has a lot of thought put into it, and you know Lex's buildings better than I do. It's a solid plan.
Konnor (smiling softly): I mean, I’m not just some dumb guy who can fly and is super strong. I have layers. Some people misunderstand that about me. I can be really good at planning, too. Thanks, Robin.
Tim (smiling): No one else is around, dude. You can call me Tim.
Konnor (perking up): Seriously? Cool! I felt weird saying "Robin" at times. "Tim Drake" is a more badass name.
Tim (smiling, sweet tone): Konnor isn't bad either.
Konnor (curious): Really? I always hated my name.
Tim (shrugging): You have a good name, regardless of the connotations it has. And I agree, you're not dumb—there are many great things about you.
Konnor (raising an eyebrow with a knowing smile): Tim, are you coming on to me?
Tim sat back, resting his arms behind his head.
Tim (coy tone): Maybe I am, maybe I'm not.
Konnor: Hm, all right. If I said you're attractive to me and I've been wanting to kiss you for months since coming out, what would your response be?
Tim chuckled, sitting up straight and scooching his chair closer to Konnor.
Tim: I'd say I've been feeling the same about you.
Konnor pouted, tapping his fingers on the table, contemplating whether this was Tim being truthful. He could hear the man's heartbeat slightly speeding up, but he wasn't sure if it was infatuation or deception.
Konnor (slightly dejected tone): I'm not going to lie, I'm worried this is a dumb trick you're pulling on me.
Tim tilted his head, his tired eyes reflecting confusion.
Tim: Hm? Why would you think that?
Konnor: Because you're straight, right? You were with Stephanie. Heck, I've even met your girlfriend before you got involved with Steph, and I'd rather not be your 'experiment.'
Konnor glanced at his blueprints, trying to concentrate on the mission rather than dwelling on the painful possibilities of "what if." However, he couldn’t help but notice Tim's expression shift from coy to anxious.
Tim (worry in his tone): No, no, no, you're not an experiment or anything like that. I'm not sure what I like because my brain isn't saying I only like women, but I don’t only like men. I—
Tim sighed, covering his eyes in embarrassment. Konnor turned in his chair to face his friend and took his hand gently.
Tim (softly): I met up with this old friend from high school, and after saving him as Robin and being with him… I wanted him to kiss me. I wanted to be close to him like I was with a woman... but then he left. Then I noticed I felt that way for a while and when I see you, and I want that same thing. I still like women, but I… what am I?
Konnor chuckled, softly rubbing the top of Tim's hand.
Konnor (sympathetic tone): I went through something similar when I realized this when I came out. You might be bi, dear boy. Are… you okay?
Tim (sighing while keeping his head down): Yeah.
Konnor: Good, because you look like you've been holding that secret in for a long time. If I'm right, I don't want to assume anything. Sexuality is a weird spectrum, but I'm getting the feeling you aren't just straight or gay.
Tim (hesitantly): You're… right. It seems… It is... I mean... I am bisexual, I think.
Konnor smiled warmly.
Konnor: I'm here if you want to talk or… kiss. Both work.
Tim chuckled, taking his hand back to remove his eye mask.
Tim: I thought you didn't want that. I want to do that, but I don't want to make you uncomfortable; I really want to kiss you, but… I don’t know. God, I can't think of the right choice.
Konnor (softly): Since it's not a trick and you opened up to me, I feel more… reclined to let you have your first kiss with the perfect superhuman.
Tim smirked, trying to glare playfully at Konnor.
Tim: You know "inclined" is the right word, and that’s a bit of an ego trip… but no one else is here.
Konnor nodded, and Tim sighed, leaning in. Their lips met quickly at first, but Konnor pulled him back for a deeper kiss that left Tim stunned. His cheeks flushed a bright shade of crimson, his eyes widening in surprise as he momentarily froze. His arms stayed at his sides for a heartbeat, but as they parted for a breath, Tim kissed Konnor again, feeling the man's hand rest gently against his neck.
Tim placed his hand on Konnor’s hip, pulling him closer and taking in a shaky breath. As the initial shock wore off, warmth spread through him, instinctively leaning into the kiss and melting into the connection between them.
He kept kissing Konnor, feeling his heartbeat race as the seconds slipped by. Feeling Tim's steady breath against his lips sent tingles down Konnor's spine. He lightly gripped Tim's arm, drawing him closer, feeling the undeniable strength and warmth radiating off him. In that moment, nothing else mattered; the world around them faded into a blur.
Tim's lips were soft yet confident, as if he were exploring the depths of Konnor’s emotions with every lingering brush. Konnor tightened his fingers around Tim's arm, pulling him in even closer, as if trying to fuse their bodies together.
As they broke apart, Konnor's breath mingled with Tim's, both panting slightly from the rush of adrenaline. Tim looked at him with an expression that blended surprise and something deeper, almost tender.
Then Tim promptly fell forward, his eyes rolling back in his head. Konnor caught him, letting his friend rest on his chest to prevent him from sliding onto his lap.
Konnor (jokingly): Yeah, don't want anyone walking in if you landed on my legs. I didn't know my kiss was that powerful.
Tim (dazed): To be fair, you're the first man I've kissed.
Konnor (fist pumping): All right!
Tim sat up and sighed happily, then covered his eyes in embarrassment, shaking his head.
Tim: Does this get ea—s
Konnor (interrupting): I'm gonna stop you there. When I came out as bi, it felt like I left this confined space; it made sense. I felt free, but that's just the beginning. Dating is the difficult part, but we can talk about that after the mission. We can go to the KFC combination Taco Bell afterward.
Tim (laughing): Is that a date?
Konnor returned to reviewing his blueprints but kept a sly smile on his face as he glanced at Tim.
Konnor: It can be, but LexCorp first.
Tim nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. The realization that he was bisexual felt surreal but in a good way. Konnor was right; it felt freeing. While he still had a lot to learn about himself, it felt good to have an answer.

RELATIVES
Part 3
A week in and me and Leah haven spoke once, the team noticed, the staff noticed, the manager noticed even the canteen noticed. I don't plan on talking to her, I don't know what to say "oh sorry for running away when I needed help" or " sorry thought I should take a 4 year trip" like no, so what do you say.
My relationship with people in the squad have gotten stronger after some bonding games and chilling at eachothers house. I was finding it a bit hard to stay calm and not be my energetic electrocuted self but, i try to find ways. Alessia had been great at that point if you went out side at lunch or after training she would join to give me company as i let energy out.
I had your first game in two days and i feel like i could be a posible substitute as your training and small matches have been unreal.
I got up this morning and Im on time for once -I've never been good at time keeping- i sat on the sofa and read the note pad in which I write down things I need to do the next day, so, I get some done and out of the way before .I get home and put the dishwasher on and clean up some dishes along with putting away washing, I put on the washer as I get dressed before leaving for the colony.
We have some recovery today and tactics which I already know means I'll have try try sit still. Ariving I pull up to Steph and Leah. Leah doesn't look at me as Steph calls me to follow them in so I do. Walking along with Steph I keep glancing at Leah I'm pritty sure she's doing it too when I'm not looking which is getting on my nerves.
We walk inside and almost as soon as we enter the room me and Leah are called by Renee to go to her office for a "chat" I like Renee but I don't think this is a good chat. You enter the office you first then Renee and lastly Leah you don't look at eachother as renee sits down.
"Is everything ok between you two?" Her first question and you already want to leave.
"I think we just havnt got properly got a chance to bond yet" leha answers nearly immediately, I look down at my feet my legs are rocking side to side.
"Alright well I want you two to partner today, I would like you to do an hour gym hour Recovary then go out for lunch together" Is. She. Serious. I'm not doing that I'm not end of.
"Yeah seems ok with me" LEAH shut up stop talking my god I don't want to do this, that's all I can say to myself in my head.
We leave the room in silence I try to go towards where Katie and vic was but leahs voice cuts through first words she has said directly to me.
"Come on bean." My nickname. Bean. She would call me that when we were younger..i....I can't do this.
"Leah...I- I umm" shit come on is find words iz, find words
Leah guides me to the gym she girls all take their looks as you walk together but you get on with what you planned to do putting head phones on taking the opportunity to not talk.
Now we're almost done in here so what now, we're ment to go talk about feeling. I'm not good at talking feelings. I get up bringing my water and phone and leave the room as Leah isn't looking going to the changing room.
"We need to talk iz" Leah. NO LEAVE ME ALONE.

No one would be happy when they are told that they will be married off to someone they don't even love or know. That was what Reo Mikage felt too, but he couldn't really do anything about it. He thought that he would at least be nice to his fiancee but what if his fiancee was a "genius" actress?
• chapter 1 • fem!reader• sfw • 3rd person point of view •
Reo watched as his fiancee was getting dolled up for a scene of her project from across the room. He still couldn't believe that she was his fiancee. He was expecting some well-known woman to be his fiancee or maybe someone from one of his father's old business partner but her?
[F/N (M/N) L/N]. A famous teen actress, her father was one of Reo's father's old business partner, but he had never really got the chance to talk to her personally. [F/N] was a very good actress in his opinion. He had seen some of her interviews before and she seemed to be kind?
This was not his first time visiting her while she's on work, he himself found acting to be fascinating and she was one of the reason why he thought so. She was a passionate one, everytime she was casted for a new film, you can tell that whatever role she would be playing, she will nailed it.
Everyone knew she was kind and friendly, but Reo saw otherwise. When with him, she was a little cold and a little distant. She did not fall easily for his compliments which came straight from his heart. Barely talk to him. Though he can't blame her, everytime they got the chance to talk, she was exhausted and barely awake when he drove her to her place, so she can't process his words properly.
Today was no different, or so he thought. She finished her shoots earlier from planned. 7 p.m. that was faster than usual.
"Good work," he tried to lighten her mood a little which didn't work as he was met by her droopy eyes. Right. "Come on. Let's get you home," he suggested as he gently guided her out from the building to his car.
He opened the door and closed it after she got in, as he got to the driver seat, she suddenly spoke to him, "Can we have dinner first?"
That question caught him off guard which was obvious with the way he looked at her with confusion. She saw his face then shook her head, "Nothing, nevermind. Just send me home." She huffed quietly.
"No no no no. Of course, let's have dinner first. Where did you wanna eat?" Reo immediately responded after he saw the annoyed look on her face. Besides, they never have time to get to know each other more so he thought that this will be a nice chance to start.
"Anywhere... I don't mind..." she mumbled.
He stared at her for a moment before getting an idea and started to drive away from the place. [F/N] didn't know what to expect, she was exhausted from her today's activity and had absolutely zero energy to argue or think properly. Just as she was about to doze off, Reo gently held her shoulder, keeping her awake.
"Come on, don't fall asleep now," he said gently. "I will go out for a moment, you wait here," he said before getting out the car. She didn't even bother to look around as she looked down at her hands that were holding her phone. The sleepy girl turned on her phone and tried to scroll through social media to make her stay awake.
A few minutes later, he came back with takeout. Curious, she finally looked out of the window to see that they stopped in front of a restaurant. Not a fancy one, just a basic one with full of ordinary citizens. At first, she didn't think much of it not until she realised that this restaurant was her favourite restaurant before she started her acting career. Shocked and confused, she turned to him who was smiling.
"I bought us fried rices. I remember that you mentioned it before on one of your interviews about your favourite restaurant and food, and I thought that this might lift your spirit up," he spoke with the softest tone she could have ever heard.
She had listened to some soft and low voice before, thanks to her role as a female lead for a romance film before, but his hit different. Maybe because his was directed to her and not to make things more interesting and intense for the sake of their acting. She didn't even realise that her cheeks were turning slightly red. She was touched that he would notice that or the fact that he watched her interviews and remember what she said.
She snapped back into reality and rubbed the back of her neck, "Thanks... I am craving it for a while now..." She admitted as she took the plastic bag from him and placed it on her lap, holding onto it for a while, a faint smile could be seen on her lips.
He smiled as he saw her smiled to him for the first time, even though it was subtle. "If you want, we can eat it now. Right here in the car. I had a feeling that you are not in the right mood to eat outside, considering your popularity and how tired you are," he suggested as he took one of containers out from the plastic bag.
She thought about it for a moment, looking at him before smiling more. She felt very grateful for his gesture, she didn't even remember the last time she was treated with such a raw kindness and care before. "Thank you, Reo. I appreciate it," she said happily before taking out the container as well, along with plastic spoon and started eating, followed by Reo.
They didn't realise it, but they were having a date right at this moment. Eating together in the car silently, but he didn't mind the silence, seeing her overjoyed by something as simple as getting her favourite food was enough for him. He knew that for her, his kind gesture was not something simple, it was something significant for her.
The golden boy learned something new about his famous actress fiancee.
