Rose Quartz
Based off this post by @cryptotheism that I saw on FB
Tumblr media
I sat behind the counter, looking up at the twin sets of flat screens perched over the high shelves carrying boxes of cereal and multipacks of toilet paper. On the left screen, a multiple panel view of the various security cameras set up all around the bodega, the right screen a rerun of Judge Judy. I was mostly paying attention to the right one.
At the table set along the window to the outside sat an older Puerto Rican man, his straw triby on the table next to him, brushing something I couldn't see off the tank top he wore under his unbuttoned bowling shirt.
“Listen, I'm telling you. New yor-wiccan.” He said, drawing out the word.
“Shut up Danny.” Called out the older woman behind the deli counter as she worked the grill.
“What? It's good! I can see it on the shirts.” He retorted.
“You're not even wiccan.” I said, shaking my head.
“So what? You think everyone selling gold crosses is a Christian?”
The door alarm dinged as a pair of young people entered. I could smell the tourist on them. Spend enough time behind a counter in Manhattan and you'd be able to as well. It's the wide eyed gaze and almost deer-like quiver.
They start to roam what amounts to aisles in the cramped store. Next to the cup soups, various small packages of laundry soap, and ice salt stood Catholic candles of various colors and saints, icons from a dozen various idols from the faiths of the people who lived or worked in the neighborhood, and bins of assorted crystals. Through the windows and on the cameras I could see the piles of garlic, oranges, apples, and bundled dried herbs for sale under the shop’s awning.
“He has a point, Flora.” I say, eyes returning to the court show.
“You're so full of shit, Danny,” she replied with a tone that sounded like this was a basic fact of reality.
The two tourists came up to the front counter, either sisters or very, very close friends. Their auras looked as though they were the same, or else rhyming so closely it was hard to tell the difference.
“Do you…um…do you sell rose quartz?” The slightly taller one asked.I continued watching Judy for a beat, as it was about to go to commercial anyway, before looked down at the two.
“Flora, we got rose quartz?” I called over to the grill. A black cat walked around from the corner and wove herself around their legs before jumping up to the table next to Danny’s hat. Flora walked around the counter with an aluminum tray filled to the brim with boiled yucca, pickled red onions, grilled sausage, and fried eggs. She put the tray next to Danny, his hat, and the cat, pulling a fork and small bottle of hot sauce from her apron and all but dropping both on the table with them.
“Yeah, no. Fresh out, remember that little bracelet brujita always buys me out. The one with the green hair. Plant name.”
“Aspen.” I supplied.
“Yes, her.” She looked the two women up and down. “What you need if for? You looking for someone?” Their cheeks reddening was all the older witch needed to hear.
She walked behind one aisle, muttering to herself in Spanish. When she returned, she held a pair of pink candles in an unmarked glass cylinder and two cans of soup.
“Damien, get them two vials of rose water.” She told me. She continued speaking to the girls as I turned my back to search the wall of incense, oils, single dose packs of Advil, condoms, and “nail polish remover” behind the counter. “What you wanna do is anoint yourself and the candle and burn it next to your bed at night.”
The taller one nodded as if taking mental notes. “And the soup?”
“Cook it for him. Men love soup.” Flora said as if speaking to an idiot.
As her friend/sister was turning redder still, the shorter one was looking at Danny eating his breakfast.
“Isn't it, like, unhygienic to have a cat in a place serving food like that?” She asked, genuine concern in her voice.
“I'm cleaner than you are, Princess Midwest.” The cat replied, looking up at her with emerald green eyes. “This one needs some Florida water too, Damien. Her aura is a little…much.”
I tried to keep the smirk from my face as she jumped.
“Hannah, I told you if you're going to talk to customers, you need to be a person.” Flora admonished. The cat sighed, jumping from the table to the other chair. Between one blink and the other, the cat was gone and a pale skinned woman in a black dress replaced her. For a moment she still had feline eyes, before blinking and her human form completing.
“Anyway, spritz it on yourself after you shower. If you're good, you'll clear that…” Hannah made a general hand gesture to encompass what must be the woman's aura. “...in about a week.”
They both stepped up to the counter, wide eyed and more than a touch shaken. “So, would that be all together or separate?” I asked, trying to calm them with a gentle smile.
They indicted together and made to pay, pulling out a crystal bedazzled iPhone to tap on the terminal. I wrapped the candles in yesterday's Daily News and put everything into an ‘I HEART NY’ bag. As quickly as they could without running, they were out of the store again.
“I would buy that shirt.” Hannah said, reaching over and stealing a slice of meat from Danny's plate, who moved to slap her hand but was too slow.
“See! And she is wiccan. I am smart.” Danny proclaimed.
“Full of shit.” Flora replied, shaking her head and returning to the deli counter.

A Full Review Of "Heart Magick" by Harmony Nice
Tumblr media
RATING 10/10
I love the way Harmony Nice incorporates gentle healing and magical practices without implying that magic fixes everything. She gets very open and personal about her own journey with mental health and healing her inner child as well as her heart, which I love. The exercises in this book are easy and don't require much (supplies wise or experience wise). She also includes different levels of the activities in case you want to take it to a more advanced level. I really enjoyed her chapter on Inner Child work. It was so gentle and compassionately written. I tried multiple exercises from that chapter and it helped me IMMENSELY. My other favorite chapter was her “Art Magick” chapter. It helped me see art in a new light and taught me how to charge my art with intention. As a girl who is naturally interested in all things artistic, this fueled my fire in all the best ways.
I love the way this book is organized! The different parts make it accessible and easy to find what you need ritual-wise in a pinch.
This is a good read for EVERY witch. It doesn’t matter if you’re Wiccan, Secular, Pagan, or Christian. As a witch, this book talks heavily about authenticity in the craft, and staying true to who you are. It doesn’t pressure you to buy fancy objects, tools, or crystals. In fact, most of the rituals just require a few simple items you probably already have access to like a pen and paper and yourself! I also love that this book doesn’t claim to cure depression or crazy claims that other magic/wellness books claim to do. Harmony Nice simply states that it’s not any one thing that will help you grow towards a healthier heart. It’s not an easy or quick fix, and one has to approach heart healing from many angles. I tried many of these activities, spells, reflections, and rituals that Heart Magick by Harmony Nice contains. Every SINGLE one resonated with me so much.

7, 12
from this MP100 ask game!
7: what’s the most hilarious moment to you?
[note: i'm terrible at picking 'one favorite thing' as a general rule, and have too many Most Hilarious Moments to count (anime and manga). so i'm just gonna list random ones that kill me if more ppl ask me this question.]
anime: when reigen spritzes shibata with the cursed cologne he stole from sakurai in s2e10, and it just drops this huge roided-out hulk of a man to the floor... funny enough on its own, but then ekubo quips: 'seriously, what's with this ridiculous luck of yours? you're definitely gonna die a horrible death.'
honorable mention for the moment when shibata wakes up behind reigen (and shigeo on his back!) and the phony psychic hits him again with the curse spray. this time it doesn't work. but it does cut short what would have been the man's long-winded explanation of how his Psycho-Steroids function... my dearly beloathed, those 'explaining your power to the enemy' moments in shōnen fighting series. so much.
manga: this one comes close to being my absolute favorite funniest ever mop cycle moment, and it didn't make it into the anime. (the relevant manga page has been my phone's lock screen for two years now.) a policeman is listening to a brief on the damage our little zombified protagonist has caused... as the culprit crosses his path. and said cop still tries to detain shigeo for questioning. ???%!shigeo meets him with this unholy glowing-eyed, slack-jawed stare that bores into my soul, y'all. it never fails to make me howl.
12: would you visit spirits and such consultation office (if you didn’t know any better)?
yes, i would. i have enjoyed such places since childhood. i wouldn't describe myself as a superstitious person, but these places and this field of inquiry scratch a real human itch that scientism can't reach. botanicas? wiccan/metaphysical supply shops? palm/tarot card readers? herbal medicine? can i get a witness? this stuff is fascinating from an anthropological perspective too.
plus reigen is pretty good at offering a space for people who just want to be listened to and taken seriously. and he has an actual psychic on staff. i wouldn't turn down his godly masseur skills, either.

Disclaimer | About Me
I feel as if I need to make a disclaimer here just in case. So here my blog is a compilation of everything I can find on Wiccan/Pagan and Witchcraft from the internet.
For Literary purposes only. Aka for fictional stories. BUT even if it's fiction I do want to make sure the information I'm using IS accurate it's not something I myself am thinking of practising. But even so my stories are based in a Fantasy version of Modern Britain about a family of Witches.
Even in a media/art form I won't have my fictional witches touch anything that could be cultural appropriation.
Aka I'm looking away from anything american/indeginious and only british only to THEN find out that theres a ton of jewish/antisemntic stuff in there that I've just found out [Don't even try me, whats common knowledge to you could be new to someone else you don't see me hastling the wiccan on here about the dangers of AI art and writing and how do they not know about the wga strike etc etc people are in different social circles and wont be aware of such stuff]
Given that I'm british I figured I would use British Witchcraft as a base.
BUT even so I will be posting information about stuff here even if I won't use it- and will even post links/stuff to deter others away from such a thing. But there will be witches in that world who do practice things such as hoodoo and voodoo I just won't go into detail [but I don't want to make stuff up] it would only be a reflection of the current world as their are people who practice such things bringing an awarness to say they exist in that world isn't the same as appropriating-
For example I don't want all witches to be white witches in my story, I want to include others but not go too far into it but only bring an awarness that they exist. Hence why some of my posts will include things, from others practices but I WILL try to be accomidating and reference if Wiccans approriated or if it's a closed practice and none of my posts are meant to encourage such a thing.
Even so- I am thankful for the people who have messaged/replied and outright told me if something was problematic. I will remove OR reblog relelvent information under such posts but I will have to say [and hope this doesn't come across as rude]
I won't believe in a "This is wrong coz I said so." Especially if I look online and people from that group say it's okay, aka Chakras so I'm unsure as most don't care meanwhile others have stated its a closed practice. [If I make that post I will link to BOTH and stay nuetral but will raise awarness on both sides points]
Or a "I'm an experienced witch." And thats it, theres no links/sources, no information and instead of being helpful and supplying said links they just go.
"Google it."
The mental exhaustion to look up something which simple to them- I have to google EVERYTHING from crystals/tarots/history/ And I'm only looking up the internet thats not counting the BOOKS I havn't written up yet [I won't rewrite everything just the passages so I'm no casually pirating books and sourcing them]
Why do you think I'm here? Also google websites seem biased and from my post about the 'founders of wicca' Gardner wasn't great but that website didn't go into detail. And most websites seem biased as if their painting these individuals with sympathy aka, Margaret murray who 'should' be the founder and its blatantly sexist that everyone assumes it's gardner just to realise that she's just as bad and exagirated most of her information.
It's so easy to just say google it, but googles search engine isn't great and i'll be damned if most of my sources are coming from wikipedia.

People can, of course, go from Wicca to some form of Satanic spirituality, but William "Bill" Schnoebelen claimed that Wicca was actually created to recruit naive spiritual seekers and gradually indoctrinate them into the beliefs of a worldwide Satanic conspiracy.
In Wicca: Satan's Little White Lie, he tries to present himself as an innocent man seduced into dark powers, but the way he actually talks about himself, it sounds more like he just wanted power and would go along with pretty much anything so long as it seemed to offer more power.
So now he's claiming that Wiccans who desired "more wisdom" would be taught that the Horned God was actually Lucifer, and from there be led into LaVeyan Satanism, and from there, be led into "hardcore" satanism; IE, conspiracy theory satanism.
He claims that:
The man who was my immediate superior was a strange, but powerful satanist from Chicago with all sorts of connections in politics and industry. I was amazed at the people of power I would meet at the sabbats.
I figured I had it made and my ship was finally coming in. I signed a pact in my own blood with Satan. He received complete control of my body and soul. In return, I got seven years of whatever I desired: money, sex, drugs or power! It could all be mine!
Familiar fairy tale trope is familiar, lol
Then, Schnoebelen claims that he'd sent a check in to the Church of Satan, and it came back with the words "I'll be praying for you in Jesus's name" written on it. And apparently he knows it's a woman's handwriting because it was "delicate and feminine."
And then he claims:
Within days, things began to happen. I lost my job, my wife got sick, I got sick, and my satanic mentor, so powerful and self-assured, got in a serious truck accident and ended up in the hospital with grievous abdominal injuries. His previously limitless supply of money from California dried up, and I was effectively cut off from all my powerful new contacts.
I'm sorry... what? That's... that's awfully vicious behavior for the deity who's supposed to have the moral high ground, my dude. Are you saying that all this lady did was pray for you, and God just chose violence?
Later, Schnoebelen claims:
Much of my personal story as contained in chapter one is radically different from the current public relations image being promoted in the media by witches and Neo-Pagans.
Like the PR material for any deceptive religious cult, they wish to present as positive an image as possible. They deal in non-issues rather than the central points which really matter in an eternal perspective.
Goddamnit, this is another one of those things where the Christians act offended because the people who aren't Christian don't subscribe to the whole "you need a savior to save you from your sins" thing, isn't it?
Anyway, Schnoebelen quotes Laurie Cabot's list of Witches' Do's and Don'ts, and proceeds to gripe and complain that witches aren't actually morally pure as all that.
Again, we're dealing with a relatively new spiritual movement where people are bound to make idealistic statements that won't hold up upon meeting the complexity of the real world, or that people just won't always live up to because people aren't perfect. And quite frankly, Christianity is no different; y'all have your high-minded ideals, but in the day-to-day you make a lot of concessions and compromises. And you have to, because your survival depends on it. You can't always give your boss your "honest opinion," and it's not prudent to give away everything you own.
What about magic? As I mentioned in my own story, the ethics get a bit nebulous when you decide if you’re going to heal someone without their permission, or do a love spell on a person without their knowledge. You see, this is all so vague it is meaningless. Suppose you have a relative with Alzheimer’s disease. Would it be alright to put a spell on him to kill him and “put him out of his misery?”
Some witches would say yes, others would say no. To whom do we turn to settle these things? In some older witch traditions, being a homosexual was a “no-no,” yet other newer witch groups celebrate “gayness.” Did they get a direct line from the “Universal Law” to change the rules? Is it alright to cheat on your “lady?” If she doesn’t know, she isn’t harmed, is she? You see how misguided and useless this kind of ethical system is? It allows for all manner of exploitation and evil, and believe me - I knew some awfully selfish and exploitative “Wiccans” in my day. One of them stole my high priestess’ wedding and engagement rings!
Man, if only there were people who ask these hard questions and search for ways to deal with these issues without appealing to a higher authority... if only people had been interested in wrangling such things since ancient times... if only there were such things as philosophers and ethicists... if only...
By the way, Bill, if Christians are supposed to be all loving and harmless, is it correct to pray for someone knowing that your god might likely inflict violence on them? Is that really any better or different than straight-up siccing a violent demon on them?
And then Bill claims this about the Threefold Law:
For example, if you perceive that someone has injured you in some fashion, either magically or physically, you have the “right” by Witch Law to hurt him three times worse. What often happens is that witches are injured in some real or imagined way and believe they have the right to hex the offending person three times worse!
This is literally not what the Threefold Law is about. The Threefold Law is one of those kinda culturally Christian "what goes around, comes around" kind of deals. Retaliation isn't supposed to be necessary because the universe will supposedly hurt the original dickbag three times worse.
He claims that a young woman stole the HP's jewelry, and the HP "invoked the law of three" and supposedly, the young woman fell down a stairs and was paralyzed from the neck down:
We did not curse her and say, “Goddess, make her fall down a flight of stairs and be paralyzed.” We just invoked this “Law” upon her. To end up a paralytic for life for ripping off jewelry is a bit severe. This was done when I believed I was a “white” witch and would never have considered cursing someone or seeking power from the devil.
Dude... may I remind you of what you claimed happened when Bank Lady prayed to Jesus? Literally how are Christians any better, in your reckoning?
Schnoebelen claims that magical fights will inevitably escalate and may I remind you, Schnoebelen, that Evangelical Christians see themselves as being in the middle of a spiritual war, waged against everyone who isn't like them. You, Schnoebelen, apparently believe it's justified for Christians to pray to Jesus to inflict violence on anyone who isn't a Christian. The crowd you're appealing to prays for horrible things to happen to everyone they've made their enemies every day. The crowd you're appealing to thought AIDS was God's punishment on the gays.
You don't have the moral ground you want everyone to think you have.

Elminx's Gratitude Ritual for the Aquarius Full Moon, August 1, 2023
Tumblr media
This is a simple ritual designed to magnify the things that you are already grateful for in your life and send them out into the universe so that they can be multiplied and returned to you. It does not need any fancy supplies though it can be augmented for further power by any number of objects. Here we are using some basic astrology and numerology to further enhance the already strong energy of the super moon in Aquarius.
The Astrology
Tomorrow's full moon falls at 09° Aquarius, making no significant aspects (other than the assumed Sun-Moon opposition) to other planetary bodies. Additionally, Mercury in Virgo will be opposed to retrograde Saturn in Pisces, adding oomph and a bit of weight to the day, and Mars in Virgo will be trine to Jupiter in Taurus.
We are using the energy of Mars and Jupiter's trine in Earth signs to amplify the energy of our abundance. Both Taurus and Virgo are lush signs that like to enjoy life - Virgo season is harvest season, what are you harvesting this year?
It is worth noting that many Wiccans celebrate 8/1 as Lamas, the first harvest in the Wheel of the Year. If that's a part of your practice, you can bring that energy to this ritual as well.
The Numerology
8/1 carries the energy of the Number 8 which represents the circle of life and having to ride its ups and downs and the Number 1 which is the number of beginnings. What you do on the first sets the tone for the month ahead - we are going to set a tone of gratitude.
I am using the symbol of the ouroboros or infinity sign which is the number 8 laid on its side to symbolize sending out energy that cycles through life and returns to us.
The Breathwork
I am going to add a bit of breathwork to this ritual which will aid in the visualization of the ouroboros - if this is uncomfortable for you, you can absolutely skip it.
The Ritual
You will Need 1 piece of paper A Writing Utensil
Find yourself a quiet space where you will not be deserved. This can be at an altar or other sacred space, but I suggest doing here whatever is most likely to encourage you toward a state of gratitude. You could go out into the forest or find a quiet space by a tree in the park. Maybe this is sitting in the middle of your garden or with headphones on a busy subway. I really encourage you to follow your intuition with this.
On the paper list eight things you are grateful for in your life right now. They don't have to be grand adventures - sometimes the thing that I am the most grateful for is the way that my cat chirped at me in the morning. As you do this, focus your energy on the center of your chest. This is where gratitude lives - gratitude creates a warm fuzzy buzz in that area of the body. We are looking to make that energy grow.
There are a lot of ways to do this, but here I want to focus on breathwork. With your mind's eye, see a ball of glowing light in the center of your chest. Sometimes this light is perceived as being green or pink, but if you see a different color that is okay too. You might not see color at all, you may just begin to feel the energy pulsating from that area of your body. If you don't see or feel anything, that's okay - you can continue this exercise with the assumption that it is working or try something else.
If you can perceive this energy ball in the center of your chest, begin to notice the way that it grows as you take a breath in and contract as you breathe out. Take any number of breaths until you start to feel like you understand this motion. Then, on your next breath out, focus on sending that ball of light - and the gratitude attached to it - out of your body as if you are giving it to the room that you are in. Then, as you breathe in, breathe in new gratitude that is coming from the room that you are in. You can try to visualize this as an ouroboros shape with your breathing in being the high point in the figure eight (faced towards you) and your breathing out being the low point.
Ideally, we would like to repeat this breath eight times: breathing in gratitude from the world and breathing out gratitude as a gift to the world. If you can, breathe from your heart; if you don't understand what that means, that is okay, too. If this is a new technique to you, it may take some time to get it right - focus on learning it more than the number of times you breathe.
You can hold the paper in your hands while you breathe or tuck it into your shirt so that it sits against your heart.
When this feels complete to you, come back to your piece of paper. Draw a large ouroboros symbol across your writing and fold the paper up. You should keep it throughout the month of August - you could tuck it into a notebook, put it on an altar, or sleep with it under your pillow. If you need a reminder of good things, you can come back to the paper and read it and perform the ritual again. Or, better yet, if you find new things to be grateful for, you could add them to the list as the month goes on.
On September 1st, you can perform this ritual again to reinvigorate your gratitude or dispose of the paper in any way that feels right to you.
Extras
There are a lot of ways to add some oomph this spell.
The most obvious one is candle magic. You could choose a single candle to burn while performing this ritual or charge a candle during this ritual that you burn afterward (like - for the next eight days!). You could charge your paper with eight tealight candles around it - this one is a great alternative to the breath method if you weren't comfortable with that. You could burn a birthday candle in the shape of the number 8.
If you're a crafty witch, you could build yourself a gratitude box either by making one yourself or decorating something pre-made with things that you are grateful for. Keep it close and keep adding things that represent what you are grateful for to your box.
Furthering the energy of the number 8, you could perform this ritual every day for 8 days starting on 8/1 and ending on 8/8 which has doubled 8 energy attached to it.
You could boost the energy of the spell by casting it at the peak of the full moon - check your local ephemeris to find out when that would be for your time zone. Or, you could boost it by casting during the Hour of Jupiter. (if you do the latter, I would suggest giving an offering to Jupiter for empowering your work)
To combat some of the poor energy of the Venus retrograde, you could charge a rose quartz necklace with your breath of gratitude and wear it throughout the month ahead. This will work as a reminder to come back to your heart and to the practice of being present for the good things in your life.
I have kept this ritual super simple so that you can add any touches that are personal to you and your practice.
Do you like my work? You can support me by tipping me here or on Kofi, or by purchasing an astrology report.

Good evening.
How did I determine my price of 9.98 for Darqkrafts 20 sticks of handmade incense sticks and cones with free shipping?
I saw what the market was selling incense for and matched it. Then I ran a 10% sale. Then I told everyone if you buy 2 bundles of incense and or cones, you would get a free 9.98 bag of incense, your choice of scent.
So yes. Buy my incense. Get free shipping and a free 9.98 gift along with it.
Thanks!

Note
This is mostly based off of the fact that it's loosely stated that silver works especially well on demons in the preboot canon (Lucia's silver throwing knives from DMC2, etc.), but personal headcanon that silver is worth more than gold in the reboot, and more rare, less likely to be seen used in jewelry, unless its the really expensive stuff. (Which is also why Mundus' banking tower is called Silver Sacks Tower- silver is still something viewed as valuable and expensive, its just even more rare in the reboot than it is in our world or the preboot.)
The price is artificially inflated, of course, like with diamonds, but I feel like Mundus would probably want to control the supply of one of the few natural things the humans could use to fight demons with. I figure he must have stockpiles of the stuff. Probably just on Earth, but maybe in Limbo, too.
The whole silver thing might also be why the only psychic we meet in the game is Kat, but her Wiccan spells work just fine. Maybe there were more people with abilities like hers, but Mundus slowly weeded them out over the centuries?
The silver thing is an interesting thought!! I like it!
As for Kat and her spells, I always kind of figured Kat's case was not particularly unique. She states specifically that she was in foster care which means her parent/s are still alive but she was taken away for whatever reason. And we know from there she was put into various systems (orphanages and mental institutions) where she was given medication which nullified the bulk of her powers. So that all makes me wonder if that happens to psychics a lot, like they get sniffed out and go through similar situations like her. That or they get recruited by people like Mundus because their powers are particularly useful.
I've also always liked the idea that in the rebootverse that like Kat's spells can be done by anyone. It's just knowing how to do it.

tell me more about this Ghost That Lives In Your House™️
okay so. all my life, and dont call me crazy for this when there's the rest to call me crazy for, but all my life i have been surrounded by the super natural. like, i remember being a wee little lad, doing wee little lad things and boom there's just a random see through man next to me. or the time when i was 12 and i woke up to my grandpa standing over me and telling me it's going to be okay ✨he died 13 years before my birth✨. or the time when NO ONE was home except me and im in the supply closet and I suddenly hear footsteps INSIDE THE HOUSE. not upstairs or in the halls BUT INSIDE THE HOUSE ON TILED FLOORS. it then started to move the dishes around?!?!????? also the time i was in my room at like, 15 or so, watching porn, and my curtains FLY off the fucking wall😭😭😭 the didn't just drop. THEY FUCKING RIPPED OFF THE WALLS. uhm what else well when i moved out 2ish years ago, into an apartment, there were wet puddles <3 middle of the apartment, not near any sort of plumbing <3 they still appear sometimes by the way. also the time the washing machine got turned on by itself???????? my boyfriend doesn't do laundry, i didn't do laundry.... the ghost did do the laundry. ALSO after my GMiL died, all lamps went haywire in our apartment. they turned on off on off, wouldn't turn on and wouldn't turn off or would immediately turn on again when turned off or immediately turned off again when turned on. im 100% convinced she's in our apartment. but then again i do hoard.. urns with ashes 😭 so maybe it's that. the ghost im talking about tho, she's in the mirrors. she mirror hops. she gives off an AWFUL vibe. a mean vibe. i dont know what it is, it's not a dangerous vibe per se but she seems mad at something. she also keeps ripping things off the walls and opens windows??????? weird.
also i think i accidentally cursed myself in 2014-ish when i was really into wiccan things and decided to do this random spell on the internet and ever since then bad things kept happening to me until i did a cleansing . so. i did one of those online 'am i cursed' quizzes and i scored like an 98/100 and i think the result said something like may god have mercy on you :3
OH ALSO there was this one time i went to visit my grandpa's grave because i was feeling incredibly sad. this was just after my best friend (and only friend) had stabbed me in the back and i went there and i was being Dramatic™ and i swear to fucking god, i would swear under oath, time stopped. i swear time fucking stopped and mist filled the graveyard and i saw my grandpa look at me with sad eyes and lay a hand on my shoulder I SWEAR THIS HAPPENED. and there!!!!! were other ghosts there and they were just, floating around like ghosts. it's so weird. it started raining and the entire image slowly went away and i went home feeling quite happy <3

Green witch youtube channels.
I want to start off on a green-witchcraft journey, and hope to be sharing resources along the way (it's been a bit difficult to find).
I'll add to this list if I find other youtube channels and resources.

I've decided to get the ball rolling on a passion of mine. I've practiced Wicca on the quiet for almost 30 years, but have decided that i have enough confidence and knowledge now to live a dream i've had now to actually help those interested in stepping into the practice, to listening to nature, and to expand into a wiccan supply store.
First step is i've set up an instagram account, i'd really appreciate a few followers if people fancied giving this witch a chance. In case the link doesn't work my account is 'Redstonecoven'

Five Tips and Tricks for Beginner Witches and Wiccans
I, a Wiccan of four years, am here to tell you a little about the craft, how I work with it, and how it works with me. This will be a basic beginning post, nothing too complicated, but I will have follow-up posts that touch on more detail.
Some topics I may write about later on would be: The Lord and Lady of Green Witchcraft and Other Deity Work; Tarot and How Divinations Can Strengthen Your Magic; Kitchen Witchery and How To Use the Craft in Your Cooking; Intentions and Manifestations: How You Can Influence Your Life; and, finally, Herbs and Crystals: Why They're Important.
I am a follower of Hekate, the Greek goddess of magic, the night, ghosts, witchcraft, the moon, and necromancy who resides in Hades as Persephone's companion. Of course, this is only what the extent of the internet states along with my own personal research. I have an altar to her which I light the candle on when I have time. I have not been contacted by her, so I have no deity work, but I do respect her deeply and have often sent gifts home with a friend for their Persphone, another goddess I respect, altar (with who they do deity work).
The first tip: Read. If you have even the slightest idea or inkling that you may be or are interested in Wicca/Witchcraft, read up on it using nifty internet sources or try and find an occult or Wiccan supply store near you. If it isn't for you, fine, it's not for everyone. But, if you think it might be the thing you've been looking for, read some more and do some personal digging to see if you just like the idea of the magic or if you feel a strong connection with the Craft. If you just like magic, then maybe you should read up on non-practicing Wiccans, but if you feel a connection to the Craft, you may be a witch! Only you can make that distinction.
The second tip: Find something you're good at. Finding a skill you are proficient in may help you find out what kind of magic you practice. There are multiple variants of Witchcraft, and they are separated by the kinds of magic they use and how they execute them. Do research on the different types of Witches and think about what kind of spells you've been practicing and which ones have been more successful.
The third tip: Feel the magic in your heart and think carefully about your actions. Any Witch or Wiccan will need to be careful with what he or she says because of threefold returns, a belief mostly found in Green Witchcraft's codes of conduct that states everything you do will come back threefold. Any Witch, however, should watch their actions as we are connected to nature and the elements themselves, making the Karma (if you believe in it) we experience that much more potent and powerful.
The fourth tip: Be careful with spells. Even a simple spell can go awry without proper experience. Try something easy like a protection jar or a calming tea. Do not attempt any negative spells. Do. Not. You should never curse anyone. Ever. Hexes and Jinxes are often accidental, and Voodoo is simply intentions and muddled to me, I don't quite understand it. But, you should never ever cast a spell with hurtful intent. Especially against other Witches! You draw from the same well, and the Karma, or whatever you wish to refer to it as, will be multiplied intensely. You can't just 'take back' a curse, it's not an accident. It is a purposeful intent that you seek to create and carry out. Be. Careful.
The final tip: Practice Grounding. Grounding is a form of drawing and returning energy from and to the Earth and the elements. It is also a great way to focus your energy and can even be a form of meditation. I suggest grounding before and after you practice your craft and at any point you need strength. Depending on your level of focus and how much energy you need, the time you require to ground energy will vary. I suggest being as close to the ground as possible, and to try and face North. Focus all you can on drawing energy up from the ground or allowing it to flow through you and back to whence it came. It's always good to send energy back after you've borrowed it, as loose energy can hang around your area after you've finished your Craftwork for the day.
If any of your questions need to be answered, feel free to ask them. I would be happy to help to the best of my ability, and I know I would have liked someone to help me and compare experiences to when I was a baby Witch. Goodbye for now!
