#What I'm trying to say is I firmly believe that Amaury Guichon could do a shibari pattern in the shape of a fully functioning clock tower

Sex is a lot like food in a lot of ways.
Fundamentally, it's something that is enjoyable and brings people together. If it's forced on you, it can be traumatizing (like the one dish you still can't stomach because some relative made you eat it years ago).
Sex in advertising can be thrilling or irritating or just easy to ignore depending on your personality and current mood (or just the way it's presented), just like people who post pictures of their lunch.
And like the original thread said, it doesn't have to be a big thing or even enjoyable for everyone involved. Sometimes you make pasta for dinner even though you don't particularly like pasta, because your friend/roommate/spouse does. Sometimes you both like pasta, but one of you is in more of a mood for potatoes that day. Sometimes you just want to make a quick grilled cheese or instant ramen instead of an elaborate meal with five different spices. And sometimes you're watching a cartoon and wish that you too could bake a perfect to-scale recreation of a medieval castle and then unhinge your jaw to eat it in one bite.
Also the Catholic Church's view on sex is very similar to their view on cannibalism: dry, tasteless, minimalist substitution that's really only paying lip service to the concept.

I dislike how clumsy it is to share Twitter threads but here is a portion from a guy I follow (for his trans porn and monster fucking content at that) echoing a sentiment that aces, traumatized people, people with low libido, etc. can fully relate to. The rest is here and it’s absolutely worth the read.
