Extreme Rules 2017
ALSO IM GOING TO TALK ABOUT EXTREME RULES AND MY THOUGHTS BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE TYPING. (my thoughts might be jaded because I'm just in the worst mood idek man) Apollo Crews vs Kalisto was a really good match and it made me so happy to see that they let the kickoff guys have a good match and that the crowd was into it. The Miz vs Dean Ambrose, I really liked their Raw match better tbh, Miz and Dean are good enough (and really good together) to have a regular match on Raw and make it extremely good. I didn't really like all the shenanigans of the match, even though a Miz match always has some type of shenanigans, I feel like this match was way too predictable for any of the disqualification spots to leave anyone really interested. When Maryse slapped Dean on Smackdown a couple months back, THAT WAS A GOOOD DISQUALIFICATION SPOT. I did like Maryse slapping Miz though and overall it was a good match, with a shitty finish. (I wanted Miz to win but the ref acting like he was going to end the match, only to go back into the ring right when Miz pinned him was ????) Noam Dar & Alicia Fox vs Rich Swann & Sasha Banks, I really liked this match, it was predictable, but I loved the hometown pop for Swann and I love that cruiserweights and women outside of the title picture were allowed to have a moment on the show. Alexa Bliss vs Bayley, I had no problem with this match honestly, (until) I thought Bayley getting hit with the Kendo Stick repeatably and then make a John Cena esc return would've been great and would've allowed Bayley to somewhat regrow her fan base (she got loud boos tonight??? can you believe it /: Raw really fucked her over honestly, she went from being the most over woman to what she is now and it sucks), but then Alexa hit her with a DDT and got the 1,2,3 after like? 4 minutes I think? like, what? what era are we in? I was for sure Bayley was going to kick out and get some shots in before Alexa beat her. The match was only Kendo Stick shots, with literally one Bayley to belly and a DDT, which sucks because they had a great wrestling match in NXT and they haven't been able to show what they can do as a pair in the ring yet. Bayley is so going to suffer from this and it makes me really mad, Bayley was supposed to steal the show with Sasha at Summerslam but she's probably going to get treated like any other women on Raw was treated for months, and be in catering for 3 hours. Other than Charlotte at Raw, Bayley hasn't been allowed to have the good wrestling matches she was known for in NXT, which is really stupid in my opinion, when you consider (I love them but) she's had super matches with Alexa, Carmella, and Nia in NXT when all 3 aren't known for having good matches, and that has to say something as to how good Bayley actually is. She was always put in really strange matches with Nia, tag team matches every other week, Sasha interfering for no reason??? which was never explained, and a fatal four-way at mania which deserved more time, you don't get over that way. ( Bayley vs Alexa at Payback was one of her best on the main roster though) Sheasaro (Sheamus & Cesaro) vs The Hardy's (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy), IDK I LIKED THIS MATCH, but I feel like the steel cage wasn't a good fit for this match, it was a good match, but it really relied on the huge spots to make it feel better, although that dive Jeff took was insane. I love Sheasaro but I don't know if Raw really knows what to do with their tag division ATM which sucks because they Sheasaro, The Club, Hardy Boys, The Revival (who are the face teams on that roster anymore???) (Enzo and Cass are soon to be gone) /////////: I already spoke about the Cruiserweight match Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe vs Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns, A GREAT MATCH, but it left me extremely worried about Seth's knee like, he had his padding up and it really scared me, I hope he's okay. I don't really like how after getting the living shit best out of him for weeks by Braun, Roman is now a killing machine who can take out 4 men at once, it feels like WWE is just milking the hate from people and giving them a reason to believe he's overpushed when he's smacking everyone out of the ring, idk I really like his new vicious attitude in singles bouts like Seth and Finn, it's a lot better than what he used to be, but it seems overdone when it's against like 2 almost 300 pounders. BRAY WAS SOOOOO OVER, I hope they don't ruin the momentum he has, probably the most over guy in that match. I love that they're keeping the demon for only special occasions, and I'll love it even more if the build up to The Demon King Finn Balor vs Brock is Brock underestimating Finn for his size and once the demons out Brock is just like SHOOK. it'd be epic. I hope Seth is okay/:, that man risks so much in his matches and it's not fair his knee always has to be a thing of worry. JOE JOE JOE JOE, this was literally the first time an arena actually cared for Joe, THEY SUNG HIS NAME WHEN HE CAME OUT!!, and it just made me so happy, he deserves the win considering he hasn't been booked in the best of light since his debut and he was the back burner of a feud for the first month of his WWE career. I can't wait for Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe. Overall, I'm not really sure if I liked it, Extreme Rules just, isn't my thing, I kept finding myself saying "oh wow but Dean and Miz had a great wrestling match the other day without the shtick" (same for Sheasaro/Hardy's Bayley/Alexa and Neville/Aries) but I think the main problem with the ppv is that Raw doesn't do anything with their roster before and after ppvs to make the matches seem like something special. (idk if it's just me though, also a lot of typos and grammatical errors but I woke up a 7 today and I'm sleeeeeep)

Best & Worst of WWE Payback 2017:
BEST:
Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe was great.  It wasn’t the best finish or the best possible match they could have had but this feud isn’t anywhere close to over and Seth has to stop selling the knee eventually and they can really let loose.
Enzo and Cass vs Gallows and Anderson was solid fun and enjoyable, especially for the pre show.
The Miz and Finn Balor were great on MizTV.  I really hope this develops into a real feud because these two have a great dynamic together and I’d love to see them work together for an extended period of time.
Raw Tag Team Championship match more than delivers.  The post match heel turn was done great too.  Cesaro and Sheamus leaving before returning to strike made it seem more spur of the moment and more frustration than premeditated.
Chris Jericho wins the US Title.  I love KO and would have loved to see this “Face of America” continue but Jericho on SD Live is a great choice and the continuity they had with the “Finger of Owens” proves they are some of the best in ring story tellers in the world.  Killer PPV opener.  It also allows for KO to truly write off Jericho at a later date and the feud doesn’t have to end.  Losing a battle to win the war is better than losing at Wrestlemania in general which was the other option to get both Owens and Jericho to SD Live.
Neville retains the Cruiserweight Title.  Say what you want about the finish but that came off as perfect desperation as the heel champion manages to just hang on long enough to extend the feud and A-Double gets more over in the process.  Match was great on the whole as well.
Braun Strowman defeats Roman Reigns.  Strowman is set to be Lesnar’s first challenger and Reigns is scheduled to take it from Lesnar, it makes sense to let the clearly very injured Reigns take the fall to the 100% healthy monster.  Reigns will get it back and Strowman gets much needed momentum.
Strowman’s post match beat down was brutal and I loved it.  It made him seem like the perfect unstoppable monster.  Just the kind of guy you want to put up against Brock Lesnar.
NEUTRAL:
The House of Horrors match wasn’t great but wasn’t nearly as bad as I was worried it would be.  I would’ve enjoyed a clean win for Bray but Jinder getting involved was obvious to anyone with a brain.  Randy and Jinder are in a pretty major feud on SD Live.  Good drama near the end when Randy still nearly got the job done.  Not the best match ever but not the worst match either.
Alexa Bliss wins the Raw Women’s Title.  Alexa has received a lot since her call-up to the main roster.  A lot of people would put this title win in a best category and just as many people would place it in the worst category.  I enjoy Alexa Bliss but would have liked to see more from Bayley, as I feel she has been totally misused and underutilized as champion.  I’m not mad, I’m not happy.  I’m am perfectly content with whoever had won this match.  It was also Alexa’s best showing to date.
I really don’t have any complaints about Payback this year.  I thought it was a great show and I really didn’t hate anything or feel like it deserved to be called a “WORST”.  I feel like it just kept delivering throughout the night.  Great start for the post Superstar Shake-Up Red Brand and it got me excited for what the Blue Brand is going to bring next month.  I’d give WWE Payback an A.  Give it a watch if you missed it.

The Raw Exposé: The Welcome to the Braun Strowman "I'm Not Finished With You Yet" Postponement Tour Edition (5-15-2017)
By: Keila Cash
Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of The Raw Exposé. Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw emanated from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The two-week European Tour is in the books which mean only one thing: The Raw crew is bound to be tired and lethargic after such a grueling trip overseas. With the creative team in a rush to revise their plans for Brock Lesnar heading into the summer, did the talent rise to the occasion or did they wilt under the pressure? The answer to that question can be found throughout this blog. Without further ado, let’s dissect tonight’s episode of Raw in no particular order.
Due to Braun Strowman’s elbow injury, Kurt Angle announced that there would be a Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match at the eponymous PPV featuring Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Bálor, Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns with the winner going on to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship. Angle wisely omitted the July PPV by name because it absolutely sucks.
Reigns, Bálor, Joe, Wyatt, and Rollins had the obligatory spiel about being the guy to face Lesnar for the Universal Title until Rollins charged after Joe which led to a full-on melee.
Rollins targeted Joe’s knee by yanking it between the ropes while Wyatt attacked Bálor which caused Reigns to get involved. Chaos ensued as Reigns nailed Wyatt with a Superman Punch which allowed Bálor to double dropkick Rollins and Wyatt into the barricade before laying them out with a flip dive on the outside.
Balor capped things off by hitting the Slingblade on Reigns as the opening segment came to an end.
This was a fine way to start the show. The segment could’ve ended with Angle’s announcement, but the other wrestlers had to air their grievances in order to stretch out the opener. The jibber jabber was pointless, but it set up Wyatt vs. Rollins and Balor vs. Reigns for later tonight. Predictability aside, the in-ring action should be very good if the wrestlers are given enough time to shine.
Jeff Hardy defeated Sheamus with the Swanton Bomb in a solid match. It was hard hitting and physical throughout, but the closing sequence was a little messy as Sheamus nailed Matt Hardy with two sloppy Brogue Kicks while Hardy was standing on the ring apron. Outside of that, the Twist of Fate followed by Jeff’s finisher ended things on a high note.
Alicia Fox evened her feud with Sasha Banks when Fox pinned Banks with the Scissors Kick. Fox and Banks are embroiled in a battle of 50/50 booking as they are tied at 1-1. For fear of burning through this feud too quickly, Fox and Banks need to explain why they are beefing with each other. Then again, the hit or miss scripts the female performers have to recite is sub par at best which puts the creative team in a damned if you, damned if you don’t situation. Allowing both ladies to speak in their own voice would be helpful, but the odds of that happening is highly unlikely. A girl can dream, though.
In a bizarre finish, Dean Ambrose retained the Intercontinental Championship by getting himself disqualified when he kicked The Miz in the nether regions in plain view of the referee. The ref DQ’d Ambrose which probably is building up to a rematch for the IC Title at Extreme Rules in three weeks.
It should be noted that Ambrose grabbed Miz’s hand while the latter was trying to deliver a low blow of his own while Maryse distracted the referee. The Lunatic Fringe was simply paying it forward, but he got caught for his efforts.
Prior to the DQ finish, Ambrose and Miz had a very good match that featured fast paced action throughout. Ambrose must’ve had a double shot of espresso because he was extra energized tonight.
The crowd was hot from start to finish which pushed the match over the top. The fans were split down the middle which is little surprising, but Miz has been such an awesome (no pun intended) heel over the past year that it’s not completely shocking that a portion of hardcore fans cheer him unabashedly. He’s come a long way from being Hollywood A-Lister with no bite to becoming one of the best pure heels in the wrestling business.
Alexa Bliss taught Bayley a thing or two about being extreme when she whacked the Hugger Extraordinaire in the back with a Kendo Stick. It was a sick shot and Bayley did a great job selling her back on the floor while Bliss posed in the ring with the Raw Women’s Championship.
The verbal exchange leading up to the physical confrontation was fine, but Bliss continues to blow Bayley out of the water when it comes to her mic work. Bayley is a lovable character, but her saccharine and uneven promos do more harm than good when it comes to garnering fan support. Her in-ring work will smooth things over, but she has to become a better talker in order to stand out in the Women’s Division.
Neville and TJP defeated Austin Aries and Jack Gallagher when TJP nailed Gallagher with the Detonation Kick for the win. The match was fine, but it was marred by the fans being distracted by something in the arena which led to a chorus of boos followed by a CM Punk and Justin Bieber chant. Neville being visibly pissed made things even worse. The Cruiserweight Division is already fighting behind the 8-Ball. Having the fans turn on the action from the opening bell is rubbing salt in an already open and battered wound. Here’s hoping things get better soon because this match was tough to watch as a fan.
Bayley will face Alexa Bliss in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match for the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules. Angle was extra giddy after Bayley told him she was ready to live up to the PPV’s namesake. The stipulation is fine, but I had an instant flashback to the horrid Paddle on a Pole Matches during the Divas Era. A No DQ or No Holds Barred Match would’ve sufficed instead of putting the women in a generic match that brings back bad memories from a recently bygone period in WWE history.
Roman Reigns vs. Finn Bálor II was better than the original as they had a really good match that was filled with a balanced dose of physicality and grit. Reigns did a great job selling his shoulder while Bálor went on the attack.
Reigns targeted Bálor’s ribs and shoulder which evened things up. Bálor had the match in control when he laid out Reigns with the Slingblade followed by a running dropkick in the corner.
Bálor went up to the top rope to deliver the Coup De Grace, but his injured ribs made the climb slower than usual. This allowed Reigns to knock Balor off the top rope to set up the Spear for the win.
Bálor lost nothing by losing while Reigns picked up a key victory heading into Extreme Rules. From a pure promotional standpoint, Bálor winning the match in order to promote his WWE 24 Special on the network after Raw would’ve made more sense but the booking team had other plans. Yes, I am closet PR Maven at heart.
Goldust just went rogue! So much for The Golden Truth being on the same page.
Big Cass defeated Titus O’Neil with a big boot in a quick match. The fact that Cass beat O’Neil while the former Mega Dad of the Year was wearing a suit made the win that much sweeter.
After the match was over, Enzo was busy taking a selfie as Apollo Crews tried to shake his hand. Enzo kept ignoring him which caused Crews to nail him with an enzuigiri. I wouldn’t call this a heelish act because Enzo was acting like an asshole, but Crews developing a mean streak is much better than smiling his way through life.
Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins ended via Disqualification when Samoa Joe attacked Rollins at ringside before dropping him with an Uranage Slam in the ring. Wyatt joined in on the beat down before turning the tables on Joe by hitting him with Sister Abigail from out of nowhere. Rollins suffered the same fate as Raw went off the air with Bray Wyatt telling the audience to “Follow The Buzzards.”
Before the DQ finish, Wyatt and Rollins had a solid match but it never got past a certain level. The match went a bit long and Joe’s interference wasn’t surprising due to what happened during the opening segment. The crowd was a little flat as well because the action was pretty paint-by-the-numbers.
Despite those shortcomings, the crowd popped for Wyatt being his own man which is a positive considering his lackluster pair of matches against Randy Orton last month which caused the fans to boo him for all the wrong reasons during the House of Horrors match at Payback a few weeks ago. If Wyatt is going to face Lesnar for the Universal Championship, he has to be built up like a legit threat who isn’t crippled by his supernatural tendencies. History tells us that said tendencies will play into his eventual downfall. It’s sad but true.
Overall, I thought tonight’s episode of Raw was solid. The Newark crowd was hot outside of them completely shitting on the Cruiserweight Tag Team Match during the second hour of the show. The in-ring action ranged from solid to good which was a nice surprise because the first show after the European Tour has been historically uneventful. Fortunately, the wrestlers rose to the occasion which made the show feel livelier than usual.
The creative team have a clear course heading into Extreme Rules as they booked the Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match featuring Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns with the winner going on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Braun Strowman will be sorely missed, but this is the perfect opportunity for someone fresh to step up to the plate and prove that he is worthy of being in the main event spot. The outcome is not clear cut which adds an element of surprise heading into the PPV.
The Extreme Rules card is coming together nicely, but WWE has to hype this thing to the hilt because the go-home show for the PPV takes place on Memorial Day which tends to be a ratings killer. There is no John Cena to pop the number this year. The next couple of weeks is critical because the deck has been reshuffled due to Strowman’s injury. Let’s hope the creative team takes care of business because it’s been rough sailing for the red brand since the Superstar Shakeup last month. Fingers crossed!
On that note, this wraps up another edition of The Raw Exposé. I hope you enjoyed it and I will back tomorrow night with a brand new installment of The SmackDown Files. See you later, boys and girls!

WWE Payback 2017 - Preview & Predictions
Tumblr media
Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman
This is the time, this is the opportunity for the WWE to put over Braun strong in preparation for a feud with Brock Lesnar at Great Balls Of Fire (christ), surely?? Roman took the win in their bout before Wrestlemania to get him ready for the Undertaker match so this will be the perfect reversal.
Braun is getting over strong by building him like an old fashioned heel which is simple to do yet something they like to over complicate these days sadly, apart from the bad editing mistakes the attack backstage was awesome, just remember though next time Braun struggles to lift anyone in a ring he lifted an ambulance! - BRAUN
Tumblr media
Randy Orton (c) vs Bray Wyatt: A House Of Horrors Match (Non Title)
Get ready for lots of rubbish Wyatt spooky boogity boo hi-jinks, most of this match is going to be pre-taped backstage so they can use special effects with the finish in the ring. This was originally a title match but plans change and it quietly became non title, the Jericho/Owens match was enough of that stipulation it seems.
The early betting odds movement came in last night with Wyatt going into being the huge favourite but I imagine some of those early changes being altered once Vince hears about the leaks again. With both guys now being on separate shows and it being non title the result here doesn't matter at all now, hell the match doesn't matter to anyone does it really? Do they have Wyatt go over to try and build him up for his first program on Raw, or do they realise the Smackdown champion shouldn't take the loss cheaply as he’s the head of that show.....which leads me to the finish of the match.
No-one knows what a House Of Horrors match is, I doubt they dont until they pre record it, but id expect plenty of special effects with the biggest factor being interference which is where the finish will lie. I see Jinder Mahal getting involved and costing Randy the match, its non title so that’s fine he wont drop the belt with a loss and more importantly it adds to the future Orton/Mahal title feud on Smackdown Live. - WYATT
Tumblr media
Kevin Owens (c) vs Chris Jericho: US Championship Match - Champion Goes To Smackdown
The stipulation to the match here will be the key factor to the finish, Jericho can win the match by DQ or countout and not win the title leaving Owens on Smackdown which is what I see occurring. Owens winning clean with his belt, staying on Smackdown would be the simple result but I predict they try and do something clever with the above result.
Hopefully these two can have a great match to potentially finish their feud, with Jericho soon to be taking a break from the company over the summer to go touring with Fozzy.
I really hope they change their mind over the finish and have Owens win, have to imagine that Chris will have his say in that at some point today - JERICHO
Tumblr media
Bayley (c) vs Alexa Bliss: Raw Women’s Championship
At last a fresh match/feud in the Raw Women’s division, please dont let Banks interfere in the match like they've had her sniffing around these two on Raw lately. Bliss has been superb since joining Smackdown in the draft in improving overall with good matches as well as being a major force with interviews. This fresher feud/match should also be good for Bayley in being able to show something more than the normal same old same old matches she has been having the past few months.
Personally I hope that Bliss takes the title very soon, the reason for that being that if Banks turns heel soon on Bayley then Alexa will be strongly positioned as the number 2 heel which isn't what she needs, but if she can take the title before that occurs she will at least still be in the picture and not forgotten about.
I dont see all that happening just yet though so Bayley to win in a very close and fun match - BAYLEY
Tumblr media
Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe
Now this should be the match of the night, they had a good match back in Ring Of Honor so with the added years of experience this should be alot better. Hopefully they dont spend the match having Seth sell his knee still, I dont want most of the match with Seth limping. Truthfully there isn't that much to say here, the feud isn't anything great after the HHH factor left it, Rollin’s nickname is still awful as the Kingslayer (Can Game Of Thrones sue them?), hopefully they can either develop the feud into something better after the match or move them both into new feuds to kick off over the summer - ROLLINS
Tumblr media
The Hardy Boyz (c) vs Cesaro & Sheamus: For The Raw Tag Team Championships
Interesting to have a face/face match over the tag belts just incase it takes away some of the crowd reactions for the Hardyz, I doubt it will but that’s usually the reason they inject a heel team in as well, maybe one of Sheamus or Cesaro will play the slight heel in the bout.
The title feud here is really in neutral until they can potentially secure the rights to the Broken gimmick for the Hardyz, if they can then things will quickly get put into gear and away we go. Otherwise I see this turning into a similar situation as the Dudleys from last year where they just pull on their previous run and give up once reactions die down. - HARDY BOYZ
Tumblr media
Neville (c) vs Austin Aries: For The Cruiserweight Title
Another awesome match on the horizon here, with the guys hopefully getting their opportunity to have a stormer after being left off of the Mania card and onto the pre-show.
In terms of the outcome I could see a surprise finish with a title change then building the rematch as I dont see anyone standing out as the next challenger just yet that should be above Aries. So in looking at things like that the prospect of a title change helping drag the feud out further sounds the smart outcome, not sure they really want to end Neville’s title reign just yet though - NEVILLE
Tumblr media
Cass & Enzo vs Gallows & Anderson: Kickoff Match
That picture cracks me as Enzo looks like he’s stood on a chair
This match feels like its happened ALOT lately, and that’s not a good thing here, thankfully its on the kickoff show so wont take up much time there. No idea who goes over here, are the winners next in line for the belts? Who knows. Flip a coin - CASS & ENZO
Tumblr media
Miz TV w/ Finn Balor: Kickoff Show
Come on, it doesn't need Stevie Wonder to see this potentially will result in a match on the show. A number of guys are without matches so expect to see an extra match or two added, especially as its criminal to have a big show without Balor on the card as he doesn't need to be in a feud to perform just through him in with someone good and let them go for 10 minutes, please.
As mentioned some of the guys without matches that should be in one are Balor, Miz, Ambrose and Crews, easy tag match if needed.
Should be a fun show overall I think with Rollins/Joe and Neville/ Aries standing out, not sure the main event will go over well if its Wyatt/Orton but it is a Raw show so expect Braun/Roman to go on last with Braun getting a monster pop when winning at the end.

WILW: WWE PAYBACK 2017 - Predictions
So here we are with a rather strange PPV from WWE. You see after Wrestlemania, the WWE went through a #Superstarshakeup that moved some people around from Raw to Smackdown and vice-versa. Due to the shake up, PAYBACK will feature a couple of matches with Smackdown talent even though this show is being put on by the Raw brand. It's a bit weird to be sure and smacks of last minute booking decisions; never a good sign. That being said, there are a few standout matches on the card and hopefully the overall show will be good. Who will win and who will lose? Read on wrestling fans and find out.
Once upon a time Neville was one of the most over superstars on the roster. His finisher, the Red Arrow, got one of the biggest pops of the night every night. And then he got boring because WWE did nothing to move him forward. And then he got hurt. AND THEN he came back as a bad ass heel, the King of the Cruiserweights. (plus he had facial hair, so evil) Since his return he has been one of the highlights of the company. His heel work has been awesome and his match with Aries should honestly be the best match of the night. Aries also got hurt, albeit in NXT, and has been sitting on commentary for the last little bit. His return to in ring action has been welcome as he is one of the best wrestlers on the planet.
Prediction: Neville
Much like Neville, Bayley has been floundering a bit since her call up from NXT. She is still one of the most over women on the roster but her matches overall have been lackluster. She has gone from main-eventing an NXT show to being in less than five minute affairs every week. Her run as champ has been largely forgetful. Thankfully though Alexa Bliss is here to save us and inject life into a stayed division. Bliss has been a revelation since turning heel in NXT and getting the call up to the main roster. Her work on Smackdown was great and the move to Raw has done nothing to slow her down. She is the perfect heel. She does all of the little things right. And for a character like Bayley, chasing the title against a true heel is just a more interesting story.
Prediction: Alexa Bliss
So the Hardys are going to lose the belts here. I'm almost positive. The word 'round the campfire is that WWE has settled with TNA for the rights to the "Broken" gimmick that made Matt and Jeff Hardy the talk of the wrestling town over the last year plus. Since returning and winning the belts at Wrestlemania, the Hardys have been teasing the gimmick with Matt doing most of the work with his mannerisms in the ring. Coming back on such a high and losing the belts at the next big show is a good enough reason to have the Hardys get re-broken. And make no mistake, Broken Matt and Brother Nero are where the money is with these two. Sheamus and Cesaro make sense to take the belts and have a decent run with them.
Prediction: Sheamus and Cesaro
Another one I think is pretty easy to call, Owens is keeping the belt. The break up of JERI-KO was one of the best storylines from the past year. It did everything right and ended with a nice little payoff. This match does nothing but spin some wheels until Owens is ready to start his feuds on Smackdown. Him moving brands is one of the best things from the shakeup. Smackdown now has Owens, AJ Styles, Nakamura, and Sami Zayn on the same roster. That's incredible and an opportunity to have some truly all-time matches. There is no way that WWE will screw this up. They can't. Owens has to win to keep the belt on Smackdown since Dean Ambrose took the IC title with him to Raw. Plus, Jericho needs to go on tour with his band so there's that.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Joe finally makes his PPV debut against the man he injured in his Raw debut. Thankfully, Seth Rollins was able to heal up enough to make his Wrestlemania match against Triple H and become the Kingslayer. There are so many ways they could go with this match. Having Rollins win makes sense as he exacts a measure of revenge. Having Joe win makes sense since looks wise he is one of the few credible threats to Brock Lesnar and the Universal title, minus the actual in ring wins. Regardless this should be a dope match. Both guys are insanely good and are capable of match of the night performances. Really all I want is a clean match with no shenanigans. I doubt that's what we'll get though.
Prediction: Seth Rollins
The second of the interbrand matches and one for the WWE Championship and it's not the main event. (as of this writing anyway) Randy Orton of Smackdown beat Bray at Wrestlemania for the belt. It was a stupid, boring move that still makes no sense and does nothing to help Bray Wyatt become what he should be in WWE. With him moving to Raw there are plenty of fresh feuds for him to have and hopefully some solid character direction. Orton on the other hand continues to be a placeholder at this stage in his career. There is almost nothing interesting left to do with him. I'm hoping against hope that he keeps the belt and drops it to someone like Sami Zayn or Baron Corbin. Truthfully, I have no idea what to think here.
Prediction: Randy Orton
The breaker of streaks and ender of careers Roman Reigns will make his return after the absolutely amazing beating he suffered at the hands of Braun Strowman a few weeks ago. WWE has done an amazing job in building up Braun as an absolute monster. They have seemingly done everything right with this guy and are probably about to royally shit the bed. There is absolutely no way Braun should lose this match to Reigns considering that storyline wise he put him in the hospital four weeks ago. (he even flipped the fucking ambulance he was in) It was such a great moment. And yet, WWE have shown that they are not willing to let the Reigns story play out organically. Reigns is one of the most hated men in wrestling period. Not haha hate, not jk we really love you but are supposed to boo you hate, but real, honest to goodness hate. He literally got booed for ten minutes the night after Wrestlemania on Raw. (he did just retire the Undertaker but still) He's not a heel, he's a villain. And that's awesome. WWE should have villains. But those villains need to lose to stay relevant. If he continues to win, to play the underdog babyface who doesn't know he's a heel, fans will simply stop caring. They will stop watching. Because it's boring and forced. But they will. They will fuck it up. I'm sure of it.
Prediction: Roman goddamn Reigns even though I hope I'm wrong
So there it is. It should be a good show. If nothing else, we should see the return of Broken Matt and that is nothing but a good thing. Make sure to follow me on twitter and instagram, @geekadedan, and let me know what you thought of PAYBACK. Check back next week for another edition of WILW Games. Until then...

Paul Heyman opened tonight’s WWE SmackDown from Buffalo and announced that WWE Champion Brock Lesnar has quit the blue brand.
The storyline is that Heyman and Lesnar went to Vince McMahon and asked him to give Lesnar a match with Rey Mysterio to get payback for the steel chair beatdown that Rey put on Lesnar after Lesnar’s quick win over Cain Velasquez at WWE Crown Jewel on Thursday. Heyman…

Ambrose als WWE Champion (2016)
Jonathan David Good (* 7.
Colby Daniel Lopez (* 28.

September wieder an Cena, verteidigte jedoch die WWE World Heavyweight Championship gegen Sting.
Dezember 2016 gewann Lopez bei Roadblock: End of the Line ein Match gegen Jericho.
November 2017 ein, welches The Shieldgewannen.
