END game
2 and a half periods worth of missed calls on both sides of the ice, and the refs finally decide to regurgitate their whistles. I will NOT pretend to be unbiased here that shit was not good and will get people hurt. the Brave and North Stars, sensing the reluctance to call penalties, escalated both hitting and their extra-curriculars until blatant cross-check and several scrums had to be called. not impressed.
the Brave held off the North Stars' power play and managed to draw one penalty with just under 2 minutes left on the clock. Casey Kubara made up for his two penalties this game by scoring 6v4 to bring the Brave within 1 goal of triggering overtime. However, the North Stars ended the Brave's ambitions with an empty netter shortly after.
No news on the Brave's missing players from either their socials or website. i am seriously considering a polite email <3 Tomorrow's game will be hosted by the Brave. Hopefully, they can take advantage of home ice and the best crowd in all of the AIHL to end the weekend on a win !!!!
