I was just wondering how big of a role the 2nd house plays in attraction because everytime i get a crush on sm1 BAM theyre a libra (virgo rising here)!!

2H SYNASTRY:

okay let's see; We've talked a lot about 8H synastry in love and relationships, and it is quite a complicated placement because the house person can easily be obsessed or repulsed by the planet person, and vice versa. Buuuut, we also have the 2H;

My personal theory on the 2H synastry is a little bit less emo and dramatic that the 8H, but it's still very important to know this when you have it with somebody else. The planet person will feel like home to the house person, and the house person will receive a lot of benefits (monetary, knowledge, open doors to new possibilities, etc) from the planet person. Depending on the house that's involved it can be a teacher/student relationship, either way there's plenty of benefits from this house.

The downside of the 2H is that, for it's comforting nature it can become obsessing or resentful, one person will think the other is stoping them from achieving greater things, or that they can't do anything without their approval (also, they care a lot about each others approval, yikes) and while it brings a lot of good things, those good things in the relationship with time can become the bad things, being comfortable with somebody then becoming clingy and unaware of it.

I've been thinking about this a lot, specially when I found out Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal had a 2H synastry, she's a Scorpio rising (allegedly lol, I'm just going with what makes sense to me) and he has a Sagittarius stellium with Sun, Mercury and Venus in that sign. She felt at home with him and his presence was really comforting, but it could've turn possessive or clingy very easily and she cared too much about what he thought of her as a person, and at the same time resent him for that.

I'm not talking my ass out tho, I myself have this 2H synastry with the closest person in my life, so I have experience with this synastry aspect.

side note but I believe Taylor benefited a lot from her breakup with Jake because she decided to do a major change in her career afterwards and it granted her a lot of success, but not as much success as her 4H synastry with Harry, the most painful synastry experienced I'll tell you why someday lol

5th house in Capricorn — dating and overall “self-expression” area of life

Your approach to romance is rather traditional and restrictive: you strive for long-term commitments and experience rather slow-paced romances with many potential hurdles to overcome. After all, you grow together by experiencing negative things here with Saturn as the house ruler. You are mostly attracted to people who are composed, responsible, mature and committed. Overall, though, you feel motherly over your lover and strike feel comfortable and maybe even domestic in love, but I will get into that later when talking about your Venus since it’s also in Cancer, just like your Saturn. Keeping the members in mind, Jeongin may make you feel special with his sun in your 5th house. He can make you feel admired and understands your love language and initial distance perfectly as an Aquarius. He may not have a traditional approach at all and could make you feel like you just wouldn’t work out because he is rather fast to move in relationships that are often short-lived and hang on by a spark while you rather want to build a solid foundation for a solid and stable future. Here, Chan and Minho (along with Changbin, Hyunjin and Seungmin) could give you that devotion and dedication to really believe that you could have something long-term.

Sun in Cancer in the 10th house - you

You may feel special when you can nurture or be nurtured emotionally. I get the feeling that you have a plan to succeed as something bit later in life (maybe even beyond your 30s)👀 Anyway but your self-esteem and self-perception could be determined by your success, so when you fail, you may feel like your value decreases (which is obviously not true) and your cancer sun can give you a rather, like Capricorn, closed-off nature. You don’t want to be open with your success, self-perception or any of that. You like keeping that to yourself and putting work in at home. You may feel the need to always be in touch with your family and value them a lot as you also value your career and ambitions: this placement is basically the definition of domestic bliss lol. First off, the aspect Sun square Jupiter gives great opportunities for success but also some tests of character along the way. You’re very fortunate but also have to make your own luck. Lucky breaks and popularity can lead to an inflated ego and other excesses in life. Your impulse to expand and learn new things may be in conflict with who you are or express yourself to be. Maybe you have a hard time going out of your Cancer shell and expanding into a more non-traditional and light-hearted way of being. Further, the Mars Sun square may indicate that you are your “own worst enemy” and tend to be aggressive and abrasive on yourself. 2nd house in Libra (conjunct Jupiter) - self-worth and self-esteem

You value partnership in conjunction with delegating responsibility to be shared with others. It is ingrained in your personalvalue system to be attuned to others and accommodate them as you may feel the need to meet others’ needs strongly. Alongside that sharing ideas and creating a space for your intellect may be highly regarded virtue. You see partnership and marriage as a way to share burden, combine recourses, and survive easier as a team. A harmonious life balance (work-home for instance), optimism, good relationships, positive decisions and feeling beautiful among other factors are of big influence when it comes to your self-esteem that can change the lens you see yourself through. Venus in Cancer in the 11th house - love-style and how love is received

You may meet a lover during group situations and are a generally cheerful lover who doesn’t show love and affection in traditional ways. Now onto the 7th house ruler in your chart...

Neptune in the 5th - unconditional love and the merging of two souls

You may show unconditional love in generous, creative ways (as previously said, you may write love letters or such for a significant other, but I can see how you use any type of art like drawings or music here as well). With your 12th house in Leo, this can only be fortified: expression of unconditional love comes natural to you. Sensitivity and intuition take over. You may not even realize you start becoming like/adapting to the person more and more. Neptune in the 5th house may be victimized. In conclusion and considering every aspect analyzed, I consider Seungmin to be most compatible with you. (I actually thought of this lots lol it was a pretty hard decision)

There are lots of harsh aspects to work with here (your Uranus being badly aspected with his Jupiter and Pluto, his Venus and your Saturn-Mercury conjunction in a square + some more minor aspects)

But I chose him because

You’d just be each other’s safe place for emotions. You’d be so well attuned to and affected by each other emotionally that you would feel the other’s pain deeply as well. It’s mutual nurturing and taking care of each other as this relationship gifts you the very emotional bond you long for.

With that said. Jimin. When he gets out of his shell, Libra/Gemini? Air/Air combo? Scorpio Venus/Mars? There’s no god ruling above and therefore, nothing to stop him from playing pranks. Literally a practical joker, you can go back through the run vlives and just see him doing his stuff. You can take the gemini out of the boy but he’d still be a funky ass Libra through and through as well 💓💗💞💓💗💞

So… so.. ok.. wait u said spontaneous. I didn’t take that into account UM. well, yoongi first of all. Out of everyone? Weirdly enough the most spontaneous would have to be Him. Aries Venus, Pisces Sun/Mercury and Virgo Moon (not sure if he’s a Libra Moon tho, due to certain times) - that mutable energy certainly adds to the influx of spontaneous actions sometimes. Even if he whines a lot about how tired he is and how he likes to be reclining in sleepie position. He also has a Cancer Mars, so obvi very driven. I think him and Seokjin are quite similar, they respect rules to an extent (Aquarius Saturn) but they also sees improvement in those rules, and thus the energy can be exerted to enhance/make those happen.

Seokjin in term of spontaneousity may be less spontaneous, like, maybe kinda like Taehyung who is - probably not very spontaneous unless it’s something that evokes instant gratification or happiness for others. But I do think he enjoys it when others ARE spontaneous, as it kinda evokes him to be spontaneous himself. Have you ever noticed that in Sagittarius suns? That they aren’t like- the most spontaneous people, but they certainly gravitate towards those who can fuel and enhance that energy within themselves by being around them?

So.. so yeah! Anyways. Joon is second to yoongi in terms of spontaneousity. And i’d say JK. Joon mostly because of his Sag Moon + Libra Mercury combo as well. But also his general *wriggly hands* mutable-ness. He gets riled up, and then he acts w/o thinking sometimes. Or sometimes he thinks too much, and end up not acting until an opportunity presents itself again. 

JK after because that Libra Venus does love a lot of fun and thrilling things, this isn’t all the same for every Libra Venus - but have you noticed that alot of them do tend to enjoy adrenaline rushing things once they’ve experienced it? It’s about the experience and feeling ‘alive’. Weirdly enough, we associate adrenaline rushing things to Sag Venus when there’s a 50/50 chance they would or wouldn’t enjoy it- depending on what else is going on and where it’s placed, if there’s anything going on in their 4th or whatever else is on their chart.

Taehyung.. I wouldn’t exactly call him as spontaneous, depending on his rising though he might. But I do think he’s independent. So a lot of the time, if you label spontaneous as going off on your own to do things/adventures - he might fit the bill. But in terms of everyday? life? situation? Well Taehyung compared to Jimin - Taehyung can be more certain in his independence and ability to just, have fun on his own/go off on his own more times than not?

I don’t think Hobi is spontaneous. But that’s mostly because he’d rather be comfortable or Not be Surprised? If it’s between doing something Unknown and potentially running into danger/endangering himself even though it’s willingly (i.e. signed a consent form for), or like, be safe and secure – then it’s the latter. He’s Taurus moon obvi, but also take into consideration his fixed Sun, Mars as well. But yeah anyways, I think thats? That??

Beyonce’s amazing isn’t she!? ❤️💕 I think she’s a?? virgo sun/scorpio moon  -- with delicious, delicious libra mercury/venus and leo mars oof 👌❤️💕;v; she’s an amazing performer and musician.. an inspiration honestly, but also she works super hard, uses her story to transform and push it into her art. That’s amazing, it’s like - it reminds me of scorpio’s moon ability to do regenerate their stories/feelings into becoming something so provoking to others (and regenerate/heal themselves) -- but only once they overcome part of their burden/boundaries to do that, y know? ❤️💕

I think - like I said in the first answer - not everyone’s the same ;; just like how everyone has the potential to be amazing but they also gotta work with what they got. And a huge part of that is recognizing and overcoming their own burdens/restrictions as well (developing). No one’s like - totally developed, because there’s always something we have to keep growing and learning towards? If it comes easy, then perhaps it’s not as developed as we think it is as well.
