One Month of University

I'm loving the university experience so far even if it's overwhelming at times, it can be exhausting being around this many people. It's a lot different than community college and I'm thankful. I feel very different here than I did while I was still living with my parents, I'm out as a lesbian and use my walker for all of my every day activities which is a big but exciting change. I feel so much less shame. I'm not the only disabled or queer person here but my morals and values sometimes feel prudish in comparison to what everyone else says and does. There aren't a lot of super fem people much less vintage Femmes, of which there is only one: me. I've found some community and made friends, joined the environmental student association, club swim team and signed up for bee keeping. In other news "Chronically June Vintage" is now and official little shop as I'll be selling some of my old clothes, true vintage and vintage inspired, I may consider selling whatever is left online. I'm hoping to turn a high enough profit to buy myself the Brown Marylin pumps from American Duchess because it's been on my wish list since I bought my first pair, here's to saving up till their silver bells sale!
