This practice helps with the purification of air, removes dirt and bad energy, and makes good vibrations. To do this, ghee, grains, and other things are burned in the holy fire of the Hawan while hymns are said. People say that burning these things makes a good mood because of the smell of the smoke. . Day 45 — Valentine
The origin of associating the middle of February with love and fertility dates to ancient times. In ancient Athens, the period between mid-January and mid-February was the month of Gamelion, which was dedicated to the sacred marriage of Zeus and Hera.
In ancient Rome, February 15 was Lupercalia, the festival of Lupercus (or Faunus), the god of fertility. As part of the purification ritual, the priests of Lupercus would sacrifice goats and a dog to the god, and after drinking wine, they would run through the streets of Rome striking anyone they met with pieces of the goat skin. Young women would come forth voluntarily for the occasion, believing that being touched by the goat skin would render them fertile. Young men would also draw names from an urn, choosing their "blind date" for the coming year. In 494 CE the Christian church under Pope Gelasius I appropriated some aspects of the rite as the Feast of the Purification.
In Christianity, at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of them martyrs, are mentioned in the early lives of the saints under the date of February 14. Two of the Valentines lived in Italy in the third century: one as a priest at Rome, the other as bishop of Terni. They are both said to have been martyred in Rome and buried on the Flaminian Way. A third St. Valentine was martyred in North Africa and very little else is known of him.
Valentine's Day only arrived in India quite recently, but it has quickly gained popularity among young urban people along with a great deal of controversy among conservative Hindus. In 2004, militant Hindu nationalists threatened to beat the faces and shave the heads of those who participated in Valentine's Day customs. "We will not allow westernization of Indian culture as St. Valentine was a Christian and celebrating Valentine's Day would be a violation of Indian culture," said Ved Prakash Sachchan, of the militant Hindu organization Bajrang Dal, in Uttar Pradesh. Similarly, a leader of the radical Hindu group Shiv Sena has condemned the holiday as "nothing but a Western onslaught on India's culture to attract youth for commercial purposes." Members of the group have stolen Valentine's Day greeting cards from a store and ceremonially burned them.
Valentine's Day backlashes also occurred in many Muslim countries. In Pakistan in 2004, the Jamaat-e-Islami party called for a ban on Valentine's Day. One of its leaders dismissed it as "a shameful day" when Westerners "are just fulfilling and satisfying their sex thirst." Also in 2004, the government of Saudi Arabia issued an edict declaring that "there are only two holidays in Islam - Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha - and any other holidays... are inventions which Muslims are banned from." Police closely monitored stores selling roses and some women were arrested for wearing red.

Oils in Witchcraft
Oils naturally have an effect on people. For centuries, people have been using scents to keep their focus, relax themselves or even ~set the mood~ for a variety of occasions. In this sort of “Master post” I’ll be taking directly from my own grimoire, as well as including a few links at the bottom of the post to a couple of websites with some extra info on oils and their uses in witchcraft!
Basil: Focuses the mind and cheers the spirits. Bergamot: Helps combat introversion and downward mood spirals. Camomile: Excellent when worried or tired. Camphor: A good telepathy oil; Disenchants unwanted admirers. Clary Sage: Restarts your flat battery Cypress: Sometimes used to calm anxiety and jealousy Eucalyptus: Cuts through the ether; a good clairvoyant oil. Fennel: Curbs appetite Frankincense: Excellent for leveling emotions and allaying fears Grapefruit: Traditional for detaching someone from the past. Hyssop: Mainly for money and prosperity Jasmine: Very sensual, but expensive. A lovers scent. Helps to overcome sexual apprehension. Juniper: Often used in protection spells and general love spells. Lavender: Useful for everything; passion, purification, insecurity, protection. Also good for treating burns, bites and skin complaints. Lemon: Deals with selfish thoughts. Rose Geranium: Like lavender, A thousand purposes. Erotic; creates and breaks attachments, and thus is useful in many spells. Rose Attar: Pure rose oil: the most valuable oil in love spells. Soothes nerves and counteracts sadness or grief. Can level thoughts that are too strongly nostalgic. Rosemary: A male scent. For clarity of mind, and bringing about action. Sandalwood: A good love oil, deals with thoughts of self-doubt, and lingers in the imagination. Also very purifying. Vanilla: Used in love potions and potpourris Tea Tree: Sets healing in process Violet: Wash hands and bathe head with this or rose (Diluted in warm water) before performing love spells for being a really powerful current in your magic. Ylang-Ylang: The third crucial sensual oil; counteracts anger and frustration.
*Note for anointing candles: Simply dab the oil on the top of the candle, and along the candle itself, and let it sit for a few minutes. Or, put a few drops into some spring water, pour it into a water atomizer and spray the scent along the candle, especially near the top*
I took all this information from a resource I’ve found very useful, linked here: https://www.amazon.ca/White-Magic-Titanias-favorite-spells/dp/1552852482

FEMEN
https://femen.org/
Femen is an organisation that protest about the worlds injustices. It seems clear that every protest is carried out in the same way - woman appear topless with words that are relevant to their protest written across their bare chests. It seems that any woman can protest under FENEM by doing this.

"Jazmine Rose Phillips is Australian born performance Artist, she seeks to embrace the grit and beauty of the human experience. Her creations use pleasure, pain, sound, spoken word, film, ritual and the female body/experience to evoke her audience to embody their emotional selves." - Eventfinda
"Jazmine writes and performs music under the name him and is a trained sound engineer. After completing a shamanic plant medicine apprenticeship Jazmine co-created show F(Y)UCK. Sexy? which was shared in New Zealand and Australia, a show with sex, ritual and herbal medicine with the intension to challenge concepts about female sexual identity and birth a new “collective memory” of the feminine" - Eventfinda
After being assaulted on K road by a man Phillips and Dove organised a protest that was very effective. They stood naked on the footpath with fake blood cover their bodies and masking tape covering their mouths. A lot of woman said they had experience similar situations to Phillips and Dove with no action taken by the police when they reported it. The police are now investigating their case because of their protest.

His performances put him very close to death, were seriously pushing the limits of his body and the comfort of his audience. He attached himself to the ground with metal straps around his neck, wrists and ankles with two buckets filled with water either side of him that had wires conducting electricity to them. The audience had the power to end his life with just the kick of a bucket but they knew straight way the seriousness of the situation and didn't go near them.
MARINA ABRAMOVIC
Artwork description & Analysis: In The House with the Ocean View, Abramović spent twelve days in the Sean Kelly Gallery without eating, writing or speaking. Contained within three 'rooms' built six feet off the ground, Abramović slept, drank water, urinated, showered and gazed at the viewers wearing a differently colored outfit each day. She could walk between the three rooms, but the ladders leading to the floor had rungs made of butcher knives. Set to the sound of a metronome, Abramović ritualized the activities of daily life, focusing on the self and simplicity while eliminating all aspects of narrative and dialogue. She saw this piece as an act of purification - not just for herself, but also for any viewer who entered the space. This piece was a shift from the masochism of her earlier works to performances that focus more on ideas of presence and shared energy, although there is still the element of danger present in the butcher knife ladder. In addition, it was an extension of the challenging durational works that have long been a significant aspect of Abramović's career.
Sink, bed, chair with mineral pillow, table, toilet, shower, pants and shirts in different colors, white towels, metal bucket, metronome, bar of natural soap, bottle of rose water, bottle of pure almond oil, ladder of wood and butcher knives

Chapter 1 “Philosophical Perspective of Self”
https://www.google.com/search?q=socrates&rlz=1C1GCEA_enPH751PH755&sxsrf=ALeKk00wyRIL1ZDBNFxko1sA2p8MlTCmwA:1599893567632&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=3SJYrtpv5im4yM%252Cegsy7hO3llTMBM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kRHNsdqQevWXCoq1YXkOjkMRg5YOQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjYtZv-g-PrAhUjyYsBHQ7lDtoQ_h16BAgTEAk#imgrc=3SJYrtpv5im4yM
Chapter 1, The beginning of all chapters. In this chapter I've learned more about what's inside the Philosophy and its purpose why is this discovered in this questionable world. In this chapter, I also discover all the famous philosophers and what are there contributions in the world. I will share to you who among the Philosophers I would like to be. The first philosopher was mentioned in this chapter it was Socrates he said that "unexamined life is not worth living", because as he suggested that man must live are examined life and a life of purpose and value, so for us to have an examined life we need to search for ourselves, "who we are?", "who we should be?", and "who we will become" the importance why we need to search for ourselves is for us to gain self-knowledge and for us to be a worth living. As human living in this world it is important to have an examined life to known what is your purpose in this life.
https://www.google.com/search?q=PLATO&rlz=1C1GCEA_enPH751PH755&sxsrf=ALeKk026gBvCJnhmA8ErzykaqvxVANRXqg:1599893775762&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=T5f0P_QZqj7kjM%252CMIrqsFZyWIfVzM%252C%252Fm%252F05qmj&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kRFSLOkBRcEKA0vJPeCJlIyv5C4jg&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjs1LrhhOPrAhXRyosBHZ-UDDEQ_B16BAgOEAM#imgrc=T5f0P_QZqj7kjM
The second philosopher is Plato, he elaborates Socrates' concept of the self. According to him self is an immortal soul and he explained the process of self-knowledge and purification of the soul. I agree with this perspective of Plato because after death of a person, the soul exists and it still be able to think, or in a specific the soul is continually reborn, the main reason why I agreed with this perspective because as when my father died my mom tells me that no matter what my father still by my side guiding me, protecting me and watching me throughout my journey because it's just his body dead but not his soul.
https://theelectricagora.com/2018/11/17/course-notes-paul-churchland-eliminative-materialism-and-the-propositional-attitudes/
The third philosopher and probably the last philosopher I've liked the most is Paul Churchland as he stated that the self is the brain, because the brain is the most important organ in our whole body, it controls our actions and reactions, it allows us to think and feel, without brain we can't move , we can't feel, we can't think or in general we will not be functional or our body will not function. If there is no brain there is no self.
We have a lot of perspective in life and there's a lot of people who has been our foundation because of their remarkable mottos In life. They became our foundation because of the problem that we are facing in our entire life and they became our inspiration and motivation in life for us to continually strive hard and make our life more productive and happy.
This lesson will help us to gain more knowledge on how to work with progress and to not be contended on those things we have without suffering.

Refined in the Lake of Fire | The Meaning of Hell Fire
youtube
What is hell? The Refined in the Lake of Fire presentation will change your perspective on punishment in the afterlife. Eternal punishment is not a biblical teaching. Share this video with all your Christian friends and family, the Lake of Fire is the most misunderstood concept in the bible. Not only is it not a picture of eternal punishment it’s actually giving us completely the opposite picture. Not eternal hell fire or outer darkness, but actually the picture of a restoration process for all of God’s creation. I have had former atheists tell me what drove them to atheism is that the doctrine of eternal punishment is contrary to the love of God. The early church did not believe in eternal punishment, they believed in the Apokatastasis, also known as Universal Salvation or Universalism.

Wood alternatives
The only practical way to ease deforestation in the world is to attempt to lessen the demand for wood. One way, people have tried to address this problem is with the increased development of wood substitutes. One is plastic, though plastic alternatives are a bit pricier, they last a lot longer than regular wood because plastics are not as susceptible to deterioration as ordinary wood. They are softer than regular lumber so they can adjust to changing temperatures(1), and are waterproof. Plastics are far easier to recycle than wood, but they are made from petroleum, which’s extraction can cause damage comparable to deforestation. So, unfortunately, a problem is solved by creating another problem. Another substitute for traditional woods is wood composites. Many furniture and outdoor decks are already made from this. They are made from wood, but it's mostly from sawdust waste product and recycled timber combined with plastics. Sure, these two methods are much more durable and sustainable, but they take a longer process to create, while it's much more convenient to grab regular lumber, which is plentiful and cheap. The use of metal and Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC) can also be used to combat wood demand. Using metal is another case of creating a problem to solve for another, because like with oil drilling for plastic, a shift to metal could lead to increased extraction of precious minerals. PVC is a very durable and sturdy plastic(1), however other than being very expensive it has proven to release hazardous material into the environment. Society is making a reasonable attempt to switch to these sustainable substitutes, it is now somewhat commonplace to see plastic or composite woods used for park benches, and metal has been the primary component for most more significant buildings. Overall the risks of mining for oil and minerals to emphasize plastic and metal substitutes are far less risky due to advancements in technology, and saving forests will enable better air purification, counteracting against the negatives of mining anyway.

Regret Ceremony
Monja Coen Roshi is a brazilian Soto Zen Buddhist nun. I’ve done this version to english of Regret Ceremony to allow more people to get to know her and the amazing lessons brazilians are so lucky to learn.
“Regret puts us in a position of purity. That’s the regret’s strength. It’s also the commitment to change the harmful karma into beneficial karma, to acknowledge the lack, to learn with your own mistakes, to use the medicine of giving, compassion and wisdom against the poisons of greed, anger and ignorance.”*¹
How to practice
Since Shakyamuni Buddha times this poem has been chanted every fortnight, during full and new moon of each month.
It’s a moment of deep reflection on our responsibility. We are responsible for our actions, words and thoughts. We can have Buddha actions, words and thoughts - that means, with right discernment , wisdom, deep understanding of reality - or not.
It’s necessary to awake the mind to search enlightenment, the mind to search this wisdom, this clear and deep understanding of reality.
Once awakened mind, we need to keep the non stop Buddha practicing. We fail. So, from time to time we regret and we commit to change ourselves. At least make the effort to fix our mistakes and lacks. Regret purify us and make reachable the unlimited purity and the enlightened mind.
Therefore, repeat 3 times the Regret Poem and, from your most intimate and truth state, enter the path of Buddha.” ²
Regret Poem ³
All harmful karma ever committed by me since time immemorial On account of my limitless greed, anger and ignorance Born of my body, mouth and mind Now i regret of everything
