SpaceTime -- A brief history
SpaceTime is Australia’s most popular and respected astronomy and space science news program – averaging over two million downloads every year. We’re also number five in the United States. The show reports on the latest stories and discoveries making news in astronomy, space flight, and science. SpaceTime features weekly interviews with leading Australian scientists about their research. The show began life in 1995 as ‘StarStuff’ on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) NewsRadio network. Award winning investigative reporter Stuart Gary created the program during more than fifteen years as NewsRadio’s evening anchor and Science Editor. Gary’s always loved science. He studied astronomy at university and was invited to undertake a PHD in astrophysics, but instead focused on his career in journalism and radio broadcasting. Gary’s radio career stretches back some 34 years including 26 at the ABC. He worked as an announcer and music DJ in commercial radio, before becoming a journalist and eventually joining ABC News and Current Affairs. He was part of the team that set up ABC NewsRadio and became one of its first on air presenters. When asked to put his science background to use, Gary developed StarStuff which he wrote, produced and hosted, consistently achieving 9 per cent of the national Australian radio audience based on the ABC’s Nielsen ratings survey figures for the five major Australian metro markets: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. The StarStuff podcast was published on line by ABC Science -- achieving over 1.3 million downloads annually. However, after some 20 years, the show finally wrapped up in December 2015 following ABC funding cuts, and a redirection of available finances to increase sports and horse racing coverage. Rather than continue with the ABC, Gary resigned so that he could keep the show going independently. StarStuff was rebranded as “SpaceTime”, with the first episode being broadcast in February 2016. Over the years, SpaceTime has grown, more than doubling its former ABC audience numbers and expanding to include new segments such as the Science Report -- which provides a wrap of general science news, weekly skeptical science features, special reports looking at the latest computer and technology news, and Skywatch – which provides a monthly guide to the night skies. The show is published three times weekly (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and available from the United States National Science Foundation on Science Zone Radio, and through both i-heart Radio and Tune-In Radio.

I do this only because it has come to my attention that not everyone is aware of one of America's worst/best culinary contributions to the world, so I present to you:
The McGriddle
Between two dense pancakes with the syrup baked in so it's inherently sticky, the classic McGriddle comes with egg, bacon, and American cheese. It is unfortunately delicious, I myself like the sausage variant.
According to wikipedia, it is available in the following markets: United States, Canada, Japan, Guatemala, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong.
HOWEVER, you should not buy one.

National Cheeseburger Day
There are many ways to make a cheeseburger. Try something new and exciting like a Reuben Cheeseburger, or get a classic at your favorite restaurant or drive-thru.
Cheeseburger day is celebrated annually on the 18th of September. This celebration of one of the most iconic and delicious foods of the USA, has been taking place every year since the early part of the Roaring 20s era. While its plain cousin, the hamburger was likely invented somewhere around 1900 in the United States, it is believed that putting the cheese on top didn’t enter the picture until 1924.
History of National Cheeseburger Day
The story goes that a teenager, Lionel Sternberger, who was working in his father’s sandwich shop, The Rite Spot in Pasadena, California, USA, just decided to put a slice of American cheese on a burger one day. He found it to be tasty so he shared the idea with his dad who liked it too. And, thus, the cheeseburger was born.
Although the idea was thought to be created in California in 1924, the first actual sandwich to be marketed using the word “cheeseburger” was at Kaelin’s restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky, USA in 1934. But the following year, in 1935, the term “cheeseburger” was actually trademarked in another place, at the Humpty Dumpty Drive-in in Denver, Colorado. It seems that people all over the United States have taken credit for the invention of the cheeseburger!
National Cheeseburger Day is marked in a number of different ways, but it can be celebrated and enjoyed in almost any way a person chooses–as long as it involves a cheeseburger, of course! Try these ideas for paying homage to the day:
One of the most common ways National Cheeseburger Day is celebrated is by major and local fast-food chains offering free cheeseburgers to customers alongside other special offers.
Usually, the free offers have some sort of limit to prevent people from taking advantage of the generosity. This may be limiting the free cheeseburgers to one per customer, to only the first ten thousand visitors to the fast food store, or through making them available only for a one or two hour period on the day. Some places offer a free order of fries or drink with the purchase of a cheeseburger.
How to Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day
A few examples of restaurant chains that have served free or discounted cheeseburgers in the past include Burger King, Slater’s 50/50, Farmer Boy, Jack in the Box, Red Robin, White Castle, and many more. Just check online or pop into a local burger joint to see what kinds of discounts they are offering around National Cheeseburger Day this year!
Get Creative Making Cheeseburgers at Home
To mark the day, many burger makers will use their creativity and culinary skills to make new variations on the traditional cheeseburger. This usually involves using premium types of cheese, other meats, and a variety of unusual garnishes. Try out these interesting ideas for making a standard cheeseburger into something excessively delicious:
Cheddar Cheeseburgers with Fried Shallots and Slaw. This unique twist on a regular cheeseburger combines the tang of sharp cheddar cheese with vinegared-cabbage (made into slaw) and a delightful topping of crispy, fried shallot rings.
Poblano Pepper Jack Cheeseburgers. Heat things up a bit with a slice of pepper jack cheese and top with a pile of roasted poblano peppers. Yikes, that’s hot!
Reuben Cheeseburgers. Changing the cheese up to Swiss and adding Thousand Island dressing channels the vibes of a Reuben Sandwich. Of course, this concoction definitely needs to be served on a rye bun.
Bacon, Kimchi and American Cheeseburger. Inspired by a Shake Shack burger, this unique sandwich holds a couple of slices of bacon, a slice of American or cheddar, a dash of Indonesian chile sauce mixed with mayo, and a little pile of drained and chopped cabbage kimchi.
Listen to Some Songs About Cheeseburgers
To get in the mood for National Cheeseburger Day, have fun creating a playlist that channels the utter joy that makes people want to write songs about them! Try these songs out on a playlist to get started, then add some other fun songs to get inspired for the day:
Cheeseburger in Paradise by Jimmy Buffett (1978). Any self-respecting lover of cheeseburgers will be perfectly familiar with Jimmy Buffett’s tribute to the cheeseburger.
His Cheeseburger by Veggie Tales (2011). Sure, it’s a kid’s song. But it’s also a rock love ballad describing the deep emotions of a gourd named Mr. Lunt who is in love with cheeseburgers.
The Cheeseburger Song by Lucinnio (2020). A singer-songwriter from Romania who mostly writes about food, Lucinnio also sings songs such as The Muffin Song, The Pancake Song and The Chicken Nuggets Song. He does seem to love to have “everything on it”.
The Cheeseburger Family by Jack Stauber’s Micropop (2018). This avant-pop folk indie lo-fi band first released only a 30 second clip of this song but then, due to high demand, put out the entire 4 minute version that can now be found on YouTube, complete with a picture of a clay hamburger face.
Host a National Cheeseburger Day Party
Grab a few friends or family members, fire up to the backyard grill (or stove!) and get to making some burgers in honor of National Cheeseburger Day. Or make a fun day of it at work and host a cheeseburger bar during the lunch hour.
Have different people sign up to bring buns or various items to place on the toppings bar, including a variety of types of cheese slices, tomato slices, lettuce, pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, barbeque sauce, or anything else that goes deliciously on top of a burger. Don’t forget to create a festive atmosphere by playing some of the previously mentioned Cheeseburgers Songs!
Try Some Crazy Cheeseburger Foods
Tired of that boring old hunk of meat stacked with cheese between two buns? Well, National Cheeseburger Day is just the day to get absolutely ridiculous with the way Cheeseburgers are eaten! Take a look at these interesting ways some people have chosen to eat their cheeseburgers on this day and all throughout the year:
Cheeseburger Pizza. Okay, so maybe this one isn’t too crazy. It takes all of the flavor of a cheeseburger and, instead of piling it on a bun, it’s piled on top of pizza dough. It’s delicious and it still maintains the ability to be eaten with your hands.
Cheeseburger Milkshake. What goes better with a cheeseburger than a pile of fries and a milkshake? With this in mind the Cheeseburger milkshake was started–combining a flavor-packed milkshake (chocolate, strawberry or some other flavor) that is topped with a cheeseburger placed right on the straw as a garnish. Wow!
Cheeseburger Flavored Cheetos. It seems that Asian cultures have a slightly different palate when it comes to flavors of chips and snacks. This particular version of Cheeseburgers Cheetos has been featured in Japan–but the marketers never did try to bring it over to the United States. However, another equally interesting option would be to try piling a stack of Cheetos onto a cheeseburger for a crispy, cheesy taste.

yet another controversial opinion
If a man (human) wants to pay 500, or even 1,000,000 units of currency for something impermanent and frivolous, good on them.
If you grilled a cheese sandwich and then some millionaire with their eyeballs dilated from Molly was like, "DUDE. I.. I NEED THAT SANDWICH, MAN. PLEEAAASE. I'LL PAY YOU LOADS.", fuck yeah you'd take more than the worth of the cheese, the bread, the electricity or gas to heat it, the stove cost to cook it and labor to manufacture it. You'd go as deep black for the materials and service as you fucking wanted.
If VALVE wants to charge money for funny data hats (RIP TF2, you zombie), then good for them.
People should be able to sell things for what others are willing to pay. You can make an argument that maybe the government could use a good portion of that but, but then that's only an EVEN BETTER argument for charging a BOAT LOAD for frivolity.
Surplus is not a terrible thing. Not in a world where expense is ubiquitous and universal and entropy is god. Someone willing to pay the worth of many hours of their work or investments is someone that is helping the economy.
People should want MORE frivolous things that the wealthy are willing to spend money on! How toxic and detrimental that gets is changed dramatically by how much their wealth assures they will have survival in their ecology with their income and how much of that isn't about intracommunal competition, but just for novelty.
Now compare and contrast how much of medicine is compromised by the state giving favoritism to corporate oligarchs that are at the government's behest, so they have a ready made domestic market of captive audiences and people that don't want to die, ties to the insurance industry that make sure you can't afford healthcare without insurance, and a system that tries to make sure you can't get insurance without either a government aid or go through arrangement with your job.
The worth of that medicine becomes artificially inflated to a baseline price that only exists because LESS capitalism exists and the state is there to make sure the worth stays artificially high. Healthcare becomes expensive specifically BECAUSE they want people demoted to cattle in programs and collectives, not buying plans individually and not having the financial autonomy to change the system as they feel they need to.
When everybody has to pay a month's worth of minimum wage for medicine they need to live, not just because some gratuitous asshole is personally pocketing the surplus but because it increases both the worth of an insurance plan as well as the niche of insurance care provider, then THAT is the disgusting thing. Not someone paying $500 for something that is wholly unnecessary that they want.

Their eyes are narrow and shaded gold, flecked with faintest hints of deep purple one can only see if they're really looking, and lined with long lashes. They’re emotional and unguarded, honest in many ways. Their skin tone isn’t as pale as their mother’s; A soft, warm-neutral tone. Their body is narrow, slender, and a fair bit 'feminine', angular and pronounced but still padded with dark brown plumage and proportional fat - and a mix of human and crow features; Their legs are thick around the thighs and slim down considerably at about the knee, where the skin turns black and scaly, leading into taloned feet. Their neck is tufted with dark brown and black feathers, with small ones directing downward between their collarbones to their sternum. Their arms serve as their wings, though their feathers are too long, flexible, and impractical for proper flight, and at the wrist, their wings split off into hands. Their tail feathers are also unusually long and fan out, though they are very flexible and sort of…flow, certainly feathers but a bit hair-like in behavior - they bounce and shake, not nearly as stiff as their other feathers. They're also very short for a harpy, standing at a small 5'6". No scars, only a few beauty marks here and there, two under their left eye and others in random spots all over his body. CLICK HERE, for example (sprite credit Cloud Meadow)
13. Equipment. Karasuka Kuraime (Crovita ; 89F) - a sorcier specializing in surveillance, rescue, homicide, trafficking, and more ; She's very good at what she does - and Tethis Surna (longest-living harpy ; 1000+M) - a walking account of nightfolk history and magic whose feathers are black and gold. 17. Siblings. None (technically, very many, as Tethis has been around)
⸻Personality Information. // Likes, Strengths, etc.
18. Likes. Clouds, peonies, iced coffee, creating art, dancing, swishing his tail feathers, fancy art supplies, small shiny things like gemstones, glass, etc, using his feathers as makeshift paintbrushes, calligraphy, chirping with sparrows, squawking with crows, singing with their momma, bloodwine, scarbuncle cheese, nuts, weird plants, their privacy, maybe just a pinch of danger, etc. 19. Dislikes. Being treated like they're breakable / lesser, judgmental people, how shaky their hands are, desaturated paints, graphite smudges, the consistency of morphagora eyes, jelly, deadlines, thunder, that night markets are always so dirty, Sanguinarians, werecats, most vampires actually, dirtyness, sudden noises, their mother’s henpecking & overprotective treatment, etc.
20. Positive Traits. Considerate. Kind. Doting. Self-assured. Independent. Resilient. Good-natured. Expressive. Honest. Straight-forward. Ambivert. Friendly. Playful. Accepting. Quick thinking. Quick witted. 21. Negative Traits. Temperamental. Defensive. Dense. Stubborn. Anxious. Childish. Blunt. Unwilling to talk about their problems / lean on others for support. Over eager. Instigative. Selfish. Clingy. Self-hating. 22. Goals. To make their mother proud, even if all they can do is paint mundanely, but also to get out from under her overprotective wing and stand on their own. 23. Desires. To feel like a complete, whole person, for their lack of magic to not define them or their place in the world. 24. Alignment. Neutral Good
25. Personality. Asuka is a bit of a strange case; Incredibly sheltered and lacking in life experience, therefore making them reckless with their independence, getting into and causing trouble unnecessarily, opening their mouth at exactly the wrong occasions- If they can weasel their way out of something by being as annoying as possible, they will. They're playful, mischievous, and greatly enjoy pushing buttons, but how much of it is a defense mechanism versus a passtime? How much of their behavior is meant to cover up their naivete, their insecurity? Even if they believe that no matter the risk, they can't stop living life. It's a great big world out there, and they're just one itty bitty harpy, the only sheep in a flock of wolves, and not even being the prettiest one. They have something of a complex about what they look like, thinking themselves a mangled addition to the harpy gene pool; They'll never be as pretty a bird as Crovita, or Tethis. They'll never be comfortable in their own skin when everyone around them stands to do nothing but gain from their death. They're quietly afraid of the world, dumping themselves into their art and distracting themselves from the truth. They're not so smart that they can readily define what they feel, but there is an ever-present anxiety that can sometimes cripple them, made worse by depression. They're a sensitive bird, for all their mischief, and want desperately to be accepted, whether by themselves or others. They're rebellious and defiant, perhaps even a little bossy. And they care a lot more than they probably should.
⸻Sorcery Information. // Element, Talent, etc.
26. Element. Null - was not born with any magical elements and is therefore incapable of using magic at all ; they can be affected by magic but possesses none of their own. 27. Shapeshifting. Not applicable 28. Utility. Magical history, theory, and application, but no more - they're a well of magical knowledge, not talent. 29. Specialization. The arts as they pertain to mundane works, from sketching to painting to creative writing. 30. Graduate School. Chimachi Prefectural School - one of the several magic schools in Japan with astounding repute ; Dedicated and rigorous, the educational environment is competitive and tense, but focused entirely on quality. Their education was focused on textbook learning about the nightfolk world and the arts. 31. Classification. Dispossessed Anthromorph ; The Dispossessed are a classification of nightfolk who simply are incapable of using magic or have none themselves despite presenting as obviously nightfolk (an opposing example would be humans who happen to be born able to use magic; same principle in reverse). Anthromorphs are a sub-type of shapeshifter or were whose human and primary animal forms are permanently apparent in some combination - they are equally as animal as they are ‘human’ in appearance and physiology.

UNRWA’s role in documenting the genocide, as well as providing food and aid to the Palestinians, infuriates the Israeli government. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused UNRWA after the ruling of providing false information to the ICJ. Already an Israeli target for decades, Israel decided that UNRWA, which supports 5.9 million Palestinian refugees across the Middle East with clinics, schools and food, had to be eliminated. Israel’s destruction of UNRWA serves a political as well as material objective.
The evidence-free Israeli accusations against UNRWA that a dozen of the 13,000 employees had links to those who carried out the attacks in Israel on Oct. 7 did the trick. It saw 16 major donors, including the United States, the U.K., Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Estonia and Japan, suspend financial support for the relief agency on which nearly every Palestinian in Gaza depends for food. Israel has killed 152 UNRWA workers and damaged 147 UNRWA installations since the attacks inside Israel by Hamas and other resistance groups on Oct. 7 that killed some 1,200 Israelis. Israel has also bombed UNRWA relief trucks.
More than 27,708 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, some 67,000 have been wounded and at least 7,000 are missing, most likely dead and buried under the rubble.
More than half a million Palestinians – one in four – are starving in Gaza, according to the U.N. Starvation will soon be ubiquitous. Palestinians in Gaza, 1.7 million of whom have been internally displaced, lack not only sufficient food, but clean water, shelter and medicine. There are few fruits or vegetables. There is little flour to make bread. Pasta, along with meat, cheese and eggs, have disappeared. Black market prices for dry goods such as lentils and beans have increased 25 times from pre-war prices. A bag of flour on the black market has risen from $8.00 to $200 dollars. The healthcare system in Gaza, with only three of Gaza’s 36 hospitals left partially functioning, has largely collapsed. Some 1.3 million displaced Palestinians live on the streets of the southern city of Rafah, which Israel designated a “safe zone,” but has begun to bomb. Families shiver in the winter rains under flimsy tarps amid pools of raw sewage. An estimated 90 percent of Gaza’s 2.3 million people have been driven from their homes.
“There is no instance since the Second World War in which an entire population has been reduced to extreme hunger and destitution with such speed,” writes Alex de Waal, executive director of the World Peace Foundation at Tufts University and the author of “Mass Starvation: The History and Future of Famine,” in the Guardian. “And there’s no case in which the international obligation to stop it has been so clear.”
The United States, formerly UNRWA’s largest contributor, provided $422 million to the agency in 2023. The severance of funds ensures that UNRWA food deliveries, already in very short supply because of blockages by Israel, will largely come to a halt by the end of February or the beginning of March.
Israel has given the Palestinians in Gaza two choices. Leave or die. "

A Happy Meal is a kids' meal usually sold at the American fast food restaurant chain McDonald's since June 1979.[1] A small toy or book is included with the food, both of which are usually contained in a red cardboard box with a yellow smiley face and the McDonald's logo. The packaging and toy are frequently part of a marketing tie-in to an existing television series, film or toyline.

The Happy Meal contains a main item (a hamburger, cheeseburger or small serving of Chicken McNuggets), a side item (French fries, apple slices, a Go-Gurt tube or a salad in some areas) and a drink (milk, juice or a soft drink). The choice of items changes from country to country and may depend on the size of the restaurant.
In some countries, the choices have been expanded to include items such as a grilled cheese sandwich (known as a "Fry Kid"), or more healthy options such as apple slices, a mini snack wrap, salads or pasta, as one or more of the options.[2]

The packaging and toy are frequently part of a marketing tie-in to an existing television series, film or toyline.
Description
The Happy Meal logo from 2004 to 2009 (US) and until 2020 in the UK, written in EnglishThe Happy Meal logo in Japanese. Text reads "Happy Set" (Happī Setto) in katakana. The Happy Meal logo in Spanish. Text reads "Little Happy Box" (Latin America).
Often, the Happy Meal is themed to promote a children and family-oriented film or television series. The first such promotion was the "Star Trek Meal", which promoted Star Trek: The Motion Picture in December 1979.[7][8] The packaging used for the Star Trek Meal consisted of various images and games related to the film, as well as a comic strip adaptation of the film. Consumers had to buy numerous meals in order to complete the set. In 1982, McDonald's recalled Playmobil Happy Meal toys because they could have been dangerous to children under three years of age.[9] In 1992, McDonald's withdrew their range of Happy Meal toys for the film Batman Returns, after complaints from parents that the film was unsuitable for children.[10]
In July 2011, McDonald's announced plans to make Happy Meals healthier, including the addition of apples. The redesigned meals would contain a smaller portion (1.1 ounces) of fries, along with the apples. On February 4, 2013, McDonald's announced that Fish McBites (fried Alaskan pollock, the same fish used in Filet-O-Fish) would be added as an entree, which would run until March, intended to coincide with Lent.[11]
In 2014, McDonald's introduced a mascot to Happy Meals in the United States named Happy, who originated in France and some international countries as early as 2009. Reactions were mixed, including criticism that the mascot's design was too frightening.[12]
Happy Meal toy
Happy Meal toys seen in Indonesia
The Happy Meal did not introduce the practice of providing small toys to children. When the Happy Meal was launched in 1979, the toys were a McDoodle stencil, a McWrist wallet, an ID bracelet, a puzzle lock, a spinning top or a McDonaldland character-shaped eraser. In Canada, the promotion prior to the Happy Meal was called the "Treat of the Week", where a different toy was available free on request each week.[13] This promotion continued after the Happy Meal was introduced in 1979 while Happy Meal toys have also become increasingly elaborate in recent years. While they were initially cheap items such as a Frisbee or ball, they have gradually been replaced with increasingly sophisticated toys, many of which are a tie-in to an existing TV series, film, video game or toy line.
The Happy Meal toys are designed for ages 2+, while the toddler toys are aimed at 3 and younger.

MIROIR DATABASE ENCRYPTING ...
i : the lovers' mask
a tale called the moon's anguish that has circulated anchorage for the past several decades has prompted some young lovers to exchange masks as a promise of devotion. what design would muse theoretically think fits them?
a lace mask with mini orchards sewn into the design. the lace is pitch black and does not reflect even the brightest light, seemingly only growing more richly dark as it is illuminated, as if consuming the energy of the sun; an endless black hole where nothing can escape its orbit.
some might consider them leading a double life if they knew about ...
honestly, nothing. her identity as a clone fits perfectly into kwon ara’s life, simply due to the nature of the kwon family’s underground business. the original ara learned about weaponry and was taught martial arts at a young age, so it would make sense that she now is able to defend herself and hold her own when it comes to physical fights in the present time.
what would be their own deal breaker in a relationship? would they die for love or kill for money?
... possibly wanting a relationship, in the first place. she’s only been in one serious relationship her entire life, and that ended in flames, so she’s not exactly looking for a repeat. if you do manage to convince her to commit, a deal breaker would be if her presence causes the other person harm.
she would die for love and kill fo’ free :)
they only have enough change for one call at the phonebooth, & someone with glaring red eyes & a spatula is standing across the street. who will they call?
no one. she would probably try to fight it, herself.
ii : the zeigeist of the '90s
in their free time, they enjoy going out and ...
drinking. she works long shifts and doesn’t have much of a social life, so you can probably find her at the local bar being a menace to society on her time off. whenever she has extended free time, she enjoys rock climbing, though only on actual mountains and not at the gym. if she is stressed, she frequents the boxing gym. so in short, more active hobbies!
a fashion fad of the times they adore that their friends would despise is ...
crop tops, platforms (because she’s short), and chokers.
how often do they order delivery from peppy's pizzeria? have they ever seen the walls ooze green slime in the pizzeria or the animatronics move on their own during their time in anchorage?
she doesn’t eat cheese, so has never visited the pizzeria.
iii : the curse of the spider
are there family secrets or so-called curses that haunt them? ones that are known publicly or follow them figuratively?
her family is a black market distributor of weaponry throughout the united states, though it doesn’t particularly haunt her as much as desensitizes her to violence and crime.
which of the seven sins would corrupt their morals?
pride. surgeon’s god complex, anyone? she’s very much used to being the best at everything she attempts, and if she fails on the first try, she’s prone to giving up instead of putting in more effort.
the world remains the same for decades now. is ignorance bliss? or is there the shaky sense something is amiss that can't be ignored?
ara rarely uses technology, save for the medical technology at work. she doesn’t have social media and checks her phone less often than others, so while she has noticed that anchorage is different from the other places she’s lived, she simply thinks it’s what people call a ‘small town charm.’
dreams are often influenced by the subconscious & sometimes distorted. in their deepest, darkest nightmares, how do they view themselves?
it’s not so much how she views herself, but how the ones she cares about view her. refer to this reply.
iv : the crooked frame
what is their death wish? miroirs only: the perfect crime was constructed & someone else took their place. how did they originally die?
to have something/someone to die for. despite being successful on paper, there’s an emptiness that lives within her chest — a gaping black hole where she knows her heart should reside. i think, if she finds purpose within her life, she would be content to die.
i imagine her death would be violent and bloody. to add angst to her death wish, it would be a purposeless death that doesn’t affect anyone — no funeral, no mourners.
muse couldn't be the one behind the tunnel of love outage because when the power went out, they were...
not in anchorage.
what would they consider their calling card (i.e. what symbols, personal mementos, etc. do they perceive as representative of themselves)?
black orchids, distressed leather, surgical gloves.
those with intermediate technical skills have used cracks & vpns to improve the internet connection, but anything post-dating the 1990s is only accessible through the dark web. has muse ever accessed the dark web? have they used it for any nefarious means or to purchase services?
girl doesn’t even know how to use emojis.
#anchortask02#i deleted the image file before i realized i never filled in the temperament part#so pretend u do not see it#⁺ 𝐀𝐑𝐀 › character study.

So what could be more interesting than to imagine ...
The Boulder Brothers joining their most unlikely of cousins, Captain Caveman by name, on a freedive among coral reefs off the Florida Keys, and being so stunned by their beauty that they wind up having sudden "wet dreams" underwater (almost like an offering to their gods, as it were)?
Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy sensing the sheer joy of from-scratch macaroni and cheese (with some sliced kielbasa sausage and bacon bits in the bargain) for dinner?
Loopy De Loop having his nephew Bon-Bon join "ze good wolf" on a sunset dive between the two, mainly as a bonding and friendship exercise?
Penelope Pitstop managing to come up with a coffee blend for her convenience-store chain of choice Puerto Rican and Hawai'ian coffees (those being the only two areas of the United States as actually grow coffee in marketable quantities)?
The sheer comfort and beauty of nakedness in the Hair Bear Bunch during their annual mating-season road trips, especially in the water?
Having the crews from The Funky Phantom and Goober and the Ghost Chasers cross paths with each other almost spontaneously, yet on different missions?
The prospect of ABBA's "Super Trooper" playing in the background when The Banana Splits' Drooper goes into "Super Drooper" mode?
Deputy Droop-Along Coyote being so famished to the point of eating no less than five bowls of chili for lunch on one occasion, and yet not feeling stuffed in the end?
Yogi Bear's forays into the Jellystone Park picnic areas including one run-in with a Jewish family on vacation insisting on "keeping kosher" all the while, even if the vacationers include some Yiddish into the conversation?
The Skatebirds actually managing missing Skat Cat and his klutzy attempts at chasing same?

Avocado toast
Avocado toast is a simple and popular breakfast or brunch dish in the United States. It typically consists of mashed avocado spread on top of a slice of toasted bread, often sourdough or whole wheat, and seasoned with salt, pepper, and sometimes lemon juice.
Additional toppings may include sliced tomatoes, microgreens, feta cheese, bacon, or a poached egg. The dish has gained popularity in recent years due to the rise in popularity of avocados, which are a nutrient-dense fruit rich in healthy fats and fiber. Avocado toast is also often marketed as a healthy and easy meal option for people with busy lifestyles.
Plant-based meat alternatives
Plant-based meat alternatives are food products designed to mimic the taste, texture, and appearance of traditional meat products, but made entirely from plant-based ingredients. They have become increasingly popular in the United States as more people adopt vegan, vegetarian, and flexitarian diets, and as concerns grow about the environmental and ethical impact of animal agriculture.
Some popular plant-based meat alternatives in the US include Beyond Meat, Impossible Foods, and Lightlife. These products are made using a variety of ingredients such as pea protein, soy protein, wheat gluten, and beet juice, which are processed and combined to create a meat-like texture and flavor.
Plant-based meat alternatives are often marketed as a healthier, more sustainable, and more ethical alternative to traditional meat. They are also popular among consumers who are looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint, as animal agriculture is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. While plant-based meat alternatives are not necessarily healthier than traditional meat, they do offer a viable alternative for those who are looking to reduce their meat intake without sacrificing taste or convenience.
Poke bowls
Poke bowls are a popular Hawaiian dish that has become increasingly popular in the United States in recent years. They typically consist of cubes of raw fish, usually tuna or salmon, served over a base of rice or salad greens, and topped with various vegetables, sauces, and seasonings.
The term “poke” means “to slice” in Hawaiian, and the dish is believed to have originated in Hawaii as a way for fishermen to use up the less desirable parts of their catch. Today, poke bowls have evolved into a trendy and healthy meal option, and can be found in many restaurants and food trucks across the US.
Poke bowls are often customizable, with many different variations available. Some popular ingredients include avocado, seaweed, cucumber, edamame, and spicy mayo sauce. Poke bowls are often marketed as a healthy and fresh option, as they typically feature high-quality, nutrient-dense ingredients such as fish and vegetables. They can also be a good source of protein and healthy fats, making them a popular meal option among health-conscious consumers.
Artisanal pizzas

These pizzas are typically hand-crafted, with attention paid to every detail, from the crust to the toppings. Artisanal pizza makers may use traditional techniques, such as wood-fired ovens, to give the pizzas a unique, authentic flavor.
Artisanal pizzas are often associated with the “farm-to-table” movement, which emphasizes the use of locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients. The toppings on artisanal pizzas can vary widely, from classic margherita with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil, to more innovative combinations such as smoked salmon and cream cheese, or roasted vegetables with goat cheese.
In recent years, artisanal pizza has become increasingly popular, with many restaurants and pizzerias offering their own unique takes on this classic dish. Some artisanal pizzerias have even gained national and international recognition for their high-quality, innovative pizzas.
Craft beer
Craft beer is a type of beer that is brewed in small batches using traditional brewing methods and high-quality ingredients, often sourced locally. Craft beer is typically produced by independent breweries that are small in scale, with a focus on producing unique and flavorful beers that offer a departure from the mass-produced beers that dominate the market.
The craft beer movement began in the 1970s and has since grown into a major industry, with thousands of independent breweries operating around the world. These breweries often experiment with different ingredients, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles to create beers that appeal to a wide range of tastes.
Craft beer is known for its wide variety of styles, ranging from hoppy IPAs and rich stouts to tart sours and crisp lagers. Many craft breweries also offer limited edition or seasonal beers, often made with unique or unusual ingredients, to keep their offerings fresh and exciting.
The popularity of craft beer has also given rise to beer tourism, with many breweries offering tours and tastings for visitors. Craft beer festivals and events have also become popular, with beer lovers gathering to sample different brews and celebrate the art of craft brewing.

The meat is usually marinated in a sweet and savory sauce before being grilled, and it is often accompanied by various side dishes such as kimchi, pickled vegetables, and rice.
Korean barbecue is typically cooked on a grill or griddle that is built into the table, allowing diners to cook the meat themselves and enjoy it hot off the grill. It is a social and interactive dining experience, as everyone at the table takes part in cooking and sharing the food.
Some of the most popular types of Korean barbecue meat include bulgogi (thinly sliced beef marinated in a soy sauce-based marinade), galbi (beef short ribs marinated in a sweet and savory sauce), and samgyeopsal (thick slices of pork belly). Other types of meat, such as chicken, duck, and seafood, can also be cooked in this style.
Korean barbecue has become increasingly popular around the world, and there are now many Korean barbecue restaurants that serve this delicious and flavorful cuisine.

Ramen is usually served with a variety of toppings, such as sliced pork, boiled egg, green onions, and nori seaweed, although toppings can vary depending on the regional or personal preference. It is also common to add garlic, chili oil, or other condiments to adjust the flavor to taste.
Ramen is enjoyed both in casual settings, such as food stalls, as well as in more formal restaurants. It is a popular comfort food in Japan and has gained a following worldwide, with many Ramen shops opening up in major cities.
Street tacos
Street tacos are a popular type of taco commonly found in Mexico and in Mexican-American communities in the United States. They are typically served on soft corn tortillas and filled with a variety of grilled or roasted meats, such as beef, pork, chicken, or shrimp, as well as vegetables.
The meat is often marinated with a variety of spices and seasonings, and then grilled over an open flame or on a griddle, giving it a smoky and slightly charred flavor. Common toppings for street tacos include chopped onions, cilantro, avocado, and a squeeze of lime, although the toppings can vary depending on the region or personal preference.
Street tacos are often served in a casual outdoor setting, such as food trucks or outdoor markets, and are usually sold at an affordable price. They are a favorite of many people for their portability and ease of eating on the go, as well as their delicious and authentic flavors.
Cold brew coffee
Cold brew coffee is a type of coffee that is brewed with cold or room temperature water, rather than hot water. The process of making cold brew coffee involves steeping coffee grounds in cold water for an extended period of time, usually between 12 and 24 hours, which allows the coffee to slowly infuse into the water, creating a rich and smooth flavor.
Cold brew coffee is typically less bitter and acidic than hot-brewed coffee, which makes it appealing to many people who find hot coffee too harsh or acidic. It is also served cold or over ice, which makes it a refreshing and popular drink during the summer months.
Cold brew coffee can be made using a variety of coffee beans, including light, medium, and dark roast. The coffee can be enjoyed black or with milk, cream, or sugar added to taste.
Cold brew coffee has become increasingly popular in recent years and is now commonly available at coffee shops and cafes around the world, as well as being available in pre-made bottles and cans in grocery stores.

Goat Milk Products Market Growth, Analysis, Report 2022-2028
A recent study conducted by the strategic consulting and market research firm, BlueWeave Consulting, revealed that the Global Goat Milk Products Market was worth USD 11.8 billion in the year 2021. The market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 4.3%, earning revenues of around USD 15.8 billion by the end of 2028. The Global Goat Milk Products Market is booming due to the growing demand for goat milk, fueled in part by the increasing recognition that numerous health benefits are associated with drinking it, particularly among consumers concerned about their health. The market is being further stimulated by the growing preference among lactose intolerant people to consume goat milk as a substitute for cow's milk due to goat milk's reduced lactose content.
Growing Consumer Interest in Infant Formula Made from Goat Milk
The number of babies fed newborn formula made from goat milk is increasing at a startling rate. This infant formula is simple to digest and does not cause newborns to experience any issues related to their digestion.
More and more mergers and acquisitions are taking place.
In addition, the demand for dairy foods is growing among businesses that produce cosmetics and personal care items, which drives up prices. Products such as soaps, creams, lotions, and other items make use of it. In the years to come, it is anticipated that these elements will be the primary drivers of growth in this business.

Challenges
The problem involves getting the milk supply to coincide with its demand
The fall and winter months see the most significant demand for dairy products like milk and cheese, while the spring is when milk production is at its maximum. Even though this problem is not exceptional, it makes an already fragile economic situation even more so for subsistence farmers who rely on milk income and upsets customers who favor dairy products made from goats.
There are a lot of dairy farmers in Mexico's semiarid regions, and most of them live on marginal land.
As a result, they are generally in a socioeconomically difficult situation and have limited access to government assistance. In order to raise their standard of living, they require sufficient revenue from milk production, yet, the fertility of the land prevents them from achieving this goal. The most effective means of boosting production and income is establishing robust producer associations, participating in ongoing technical education, broadening access to credit and financial services, and creating more streamlined market structures.
Segmental Coverage
Global Goat Milk Products Market – By Distribution Channel
Depending on goat milk products, the distribution channel segment comprises Specialty Stores, Supermarkets, Drug Stores, Online Channels, and Convenience Stores. The supermarket and hypermarket categories comprise the largest share of all distribution channels over the forecasted period. This is due to the fact that it offers convenient access to a variety of goat dairy products under one roof. Customers may thus choose items from a large variety of options with ease as a result of this. Seasonal displays of various dairy products are becoming increasingly prevalent, which promotes new products and grows the industry. Additionally, the majority of producers make good money through chains of supermarkets and hypermarkets. Dairy product manufacturers, therefore, strive to cater to this market with their products.
Global Goat Milk Products Market - By Region
The Global Goat Milk Products Market is geographically segmented into North America, Europe, The Asia Pacific, Latin America, The Middle East, and Africa. The Asia-Pacific region controlled most of the global market and held the highest share, equivalent to more than 52.5% of the total revenue in the year 2021. In the United States, the consumption of dairy products is growing at a large rate due to the increased awareness of the health benefits of these products on the positive effects that drinking milk and eating dairy products have on one's health.
It is projected that Europe will demonstrate the highest growth rate in terms of revenue during the period under consideration. The growing preference among consumers for healthy meals due to increased awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and an increased focus on total well-being is driving up product demand in Europe, which in turn is propelling the market in that region.
Impact of COVID-19 on Global Goat Milk Products Market
During the COVID-19 epidemic, people are more concerned about their health than usual, so they are taking additional safety measures to protect themselves. The dairy business has shown incredible resilience despite the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. Despite initial worries that the market for goat milk products would be especially vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic, the disease did not substantially impact the market for goat milk products around the world.
Competitive Landscape
Ausnutria Diary Corporation Ltd, AVH Dairy Trade B.V., Goat Partners International, Holle Baby Food AG, Meyenberg, Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery, St. Helen's Farm Stickney Hill Diary Inc, Woolwich Diary Inc, Xi'an Baiyue Goat Group Co Ltd, and Other Prominent Players are the leading market players in the global goat milk products market. World Milk Day
Start your day with a glass of calcium-rich milk, visit a local dairy farm, or see what milk alternatives like soy, oat, or almond milk you might enjoy.
It’s a well-known fact that milk is rich with calcium, a mineral that promotes healthy teeth and bones. June 1st is the date that has been set aside to celebrate Milk Day. And, of course, this is a celebration that can take place anywhere in the world, given that milk is a global food!
The use of milk in food and drink has been happening for thousands of years. As most people can appreciate, milk is an integral part of most people’s daily lives, and there’s an entire industry that revolves around it as well.
Milk is a liquid food rich with nutrients like calcium. It’s a food product that is primarily used by mammals during infancy. Although, in the case of humans, people tend to consume it in adulthood, as most adult humans can digest the lactose in milk.
Of course, milk isn’t only available for drinking. It’s an essential ingredient for dairy foods such as butter, cream, ice cream, and cheese. Milk can also be found as an ingredient used in other types of foods, such as bread, cakes, cereal, desserts and so much more.
There is no denying that milk has become a mainstay of most people’s diets today. It’s also one of the cheapest food products to buy, given the industrial scale of milk production in the world. Some of the largest producers of milk are the United States, India, and China.
History of Milk Day
Milk Day became a globally celebrated event on June 1st, 2001. The global celebration, in general, can be traced back to the United Nations (UN). In particular, the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) of the UN has been responsible for organizing and marketing World Milk Day throughout the globe.
More than two decades ago, the FAO proposed a global Milk Day to recognize the importance of milk and the role that it plays in our world. In addition, this day was also created to provide direct focus to the milk industry and publicize the various activities connected with it. In fact, the dairy industry supports the livelihoods of approximately 1 billion people throughout the world!
But even before this day was created in 2001, Milk Day was celebrated by some other nations throughout history. In the British Isles, for example, a Milk Day celebration (“Imbolc” – Celtic for “milk”) took place in the pre-Christian era.
Considering the fact that over six billion people worldwide consume milk and dairy, it’s no surprise there was a need to celebrate this healthy, delicious beverage!
How to Celebrate Milk Day
June 1st is a day that many people may want to write their diaries. Milk plays such a significant role in the world that should certainly be celebrated in style!
But what can be done to celebrate such a momentous occasion? Try out some of these ideas for enjoying Milk Day:
Get the Day Started with a Glass of Milk
Why not celebrate today with a glass of fresh, cold milk in the morning to kick-start the day?! But don’t stop there. How about enjoying a big bowl of cereal full of delicious milk?
Of course, after drinking that glass of milk, don’t forget to snap a photo of that beautiful milk mustache! Share it with the world on social media to remind everyone else to enjoy Milk Day too.
Join an Official Milk Day Celebration
As a worldwide event, Milk Day comes with all kinds of official opportunities to celebrate! In 2020, more than 400 Milk Day campaigns took place in over 68 countries all over the globe, so there should be plenty to join in with again this year. Here are some events that have taken place in previous years:
World Milk Day Milk Donation. Happening in New York State, USA, several organizations have gotten together to provide a free gallon of milk to the people in their local community who visit a dairy farm.
Live Recipes by Renowned Chefs from Around the World. This live Facebook event has been hosted by Amul, India, which is the country’s largest dairy brand, with the intention of showing the importance of milk throughout different countries and cultures.
International Dairy Federation Raise a Glass Event. Hosted by the IDF in Brussels, Belgium, this event involved hosting a toast to milk from people all around the world.
Check the World Milk Day website to get access to all the needed information to make plans for this day.
Visit a Local Dairy or Farm
For those who have some extra time, especially those with kids who are ready to learn, consider visiting a local dairy to learn the process of milking cows and collecting the milk. This will also lead to learning about pasteurizing and homogenizing milk, methods used to filter milk and keep it long-lasting.
If there are no cow farms nearby, consider visiting a smaller farm that has goats. It’s still possible to learn about everything milk-oriented but may be more accessible because they might be smaller and locally owned.
Enjoy Other Milk Products
For lunch, why not have a mozzarella or Margherita pizza and drink a glass of chocolate milk to wash it down? After that, those who are still feeling hungry could always have some delicious ice cream for dessert!
Other options for enjoying milk products on this day (and every day!) include yogurt, sour cream, butter, custard, cream and all of the recipes that can be made from them.
Try a Milk Alternative
For folks who have trouble digesting dairy easily, why not try other non-dairy milk alternatives? Here are some popular options:
Soy Milk. A favorite as one of the early milk alternatives, this one is made from soybean plants that grow fairly prolifically in many places.
Almond Milk. Made by crushing almonds and blending them with water, and then straining out the mix to remove any solids that are left, this nutty milk is filled with protein.
Coconut Milk. This one uses the white, fleshy part of the coconut, grating it and soaking it in water. The cream rises and is skimmed off, then what’s left is strained to extract the coconut milk.
Whether with a milk product or a dairy alternative, celebrating World Milk Day can be loads of fun!
