Assessing the career position of John Travolta in the year 1997, and while we do have a career resurgence, I don't think heartthrob / lady's man / every girl's desire fits. We are a few years off from Battle Field Earth, which alone would erase this name from consideration -- even if he is still no Tom Cruise in the "crazy Scientology celebrity" department. And then a couple more years Wild Hogs places him in midlife crisis sitcom movie territory -- well outside the purview of the Beebees of the world.

Maybe the dropping of the "T" from Travolta's name to make "ravolta" is an editorial comment?
