Hand to Hand: Mark Waid’s Flash
I have been a fan of comic book characters for a long time. I started with the cartoons, and as I got older, I began doing deep dives into wikis, reading fanfiction, and participating in that shallowest of internet past times, the vs debate. I dabbled in writing fanfic for myself, but I spent far more time thinking about writing fanfic instead. I would come up with all these ideas about what I would take from the various different versions of the characters, and don’t get me started on the idea of Crossovers. The point is, I knew a lot of what happened in the comics, but I never read many comics. I didn’t know where my local comic shop was, and even if I did, I wouldn’t have had the money to spend on them. The comics that I did read were usually fan translations of manga. I did read a few comics, big name stories like Death of Superman or Crisis on Infinite Earths, but they were few and far between.
Recently, I’ve begun to change that. I now follow several comics as they come out, most notably the current X-line. This change sprang in part because I began reading a lot more comics criticism. In particular, I followed the blog of a certain Superman fan, and began to eagerly digest his various takes. I wanted to be able to ask him questions about new comics without looking like an idiot (This is how 90 percent of my interactions on comics twitter go, BTW) and that was a kick in the pants for me.
After getting into a steady habit, I decided to look into reading some of the classic runs I’d read so much about throughout life. To go from knowing them second hand, to knowing them first hand. After a bit of hemming and hawing, I’ve settled on Mark Waid’s legendary run of Flash Comics to start off with.
(Spoiler Warning for some 30 year old comics, by the way)
As of this writing, I have read up to the final issue of his story arc Dead Heat, wherein Wally does battle with the speed cultist Savitar. Before we get into things like plot and characters, I want to discuss the art, because no discussion of comic books is really complete without talking about the art. Unfortunately, the art in this run hasn’t done much for me, but that’s not really it’s fault. I read this comics in manner that they were not created to be read, digitally and zoomed in. These comics were drawn with physical issues in mind, and I don’t doubt that they’re good in that format. It also doesn’t help that I’ve read far more manga than I have American comics. American comics have never clicked with me the way manga does. Even now, I still find the layout of manga more legible than the layout of an American comic. That’s not a value judgment, it’s just my personal experience.
I do distinctly recall thinking that the art was better up to issue #79 (The conclusion to the Return of Barry Allen storyline), than it was after. I prefer the less exaggerated character designs, and lighter inks, though it could very well be a case of me having gotten used to the initial style and not liking the change. One thing that thing I can say about the art is that it helped me grasp how Wally’s costume differed from Barry’s. Before this, I was incapable of separating them in my mind, but seeing them side by side made it clear to me how different Wally’s Costume was colored and shaded.
Now, onto the writing of the run, we’ll start with the lead, Wally West. My previous touchstone for Wally was the Justice League series from the DCAU, which I watched a lot as a kid. The Wally in these comics comes off as more serious that his DCAU incarnation. Not too serious, he still cracks jokes, but he’s more on the ball. He takes his adventures as seriously as any hero would, rather than the more carefree attitude I recall his DCAU version having. This is not unsurprising, Wally here is the lead whereas there he was part of an ensemble cast, and here we get his internal monologue which gives us a much more thorough sense of his headspace. Not to mention, the DCAU version was voiced, so we know with no ambiguity what tone his dialogue’s in. In text, tone is more up to interpretation.
Perhaps the biggest thing that set Comic Wally apart from DCAU Wally is that the Wally in the comic was more consistently angry and frustrated. While his DCAU incarnation had hidden depths, I can’t recall a time when he got seriously angry. This Wally is frequently irritated, usually by things which are enitrely understandable. On occasion, his irritability causes him to be rougher with the bad guys than he could be, and that feels uncomfortable sometimes, though thus far he hasn’t gone too far.
Going into this, I knew that one of the issues that Wally had to overcome was his mental block about surpassing Barry, and to my surprise, it wasn’t as much of a through-line as I expected. I was expecting it to be a reoccurring issue that was solved by the Return of Barry Allen storyline, but in reality there are only one or two times something like it comes up, usually in the context of him not being able to do the vibrating through walls trick. In the Return of Barry Allen, it feels more like an issue introduced in that story than a long running plot line. Granted, it may only feel this way because I’m solely reading Mark Waid’s Flash. I didn’t read the issues prior to his take over, so that storyline could have been more apparent there for all I know.
Moving on, starting with Waid’s run had another knock on effect, that being that the character introductions aren’t introductions. I came into this expecting to see when Wally met Linda, when he met Jay Garrick, when Pied Piper redeemed himself, but all of that happened before Waid took over the book, so they’re already part of the cast from the start. Again, not a flaw of the work, it’s just a result of my personal experiences. Now, let’s take a look at some of these characters.
I’ve heard a lot about Linda and Wally’s romance, and so far it’s not bad. I wouldn’t rate it as one of the best of all time, but I haven’t gotten to most of the major moments yet, so that’s not a huge surprise. One thing that’s very apparent is the Lois Lane DNA in her character. Some of that is to be expected, which the love interest to your superhero is a reporter, but I see a lot of similarities in their personality as well. There’s a lot of the same fire in her. Fortunately, the fact that Wally’s identity is public lends a very different arc to their relationship than what you see with Lois and Clark, so Linda doesn’t come off as a Lois rip-off. Linda’s concerns that there’s no place for her in Wally’s wild superhero life is the kind of relationship hurdle that isn’t present in Lois and Clark’s Relationship.
Next, let’s take a look at the first Flash, Jay Garrick. Within this series, Jay is perfectly pleasant, and by no means unlikable, but he also comes across as...kind of superfluous? There are three elderly male speedsters in this comic, and of all of them Jay is by far the least defined and has the least role. Max Mercury is the Wally’s mentor in the ways of speed, the one with the most knowledge of the Speed Force. He’s basically what I expected Jay Garrick to be going into this. The third of the group is Johnny Quick, a speedster who is the father of another speedster, Jesse Quick. Jesse is also very skeptical of Max Mercury’s teachings, which veer from the scientific into the mystical.
Because Johnny takes the role of skeptic, Jay is left without a role in the narrative because being the nicest of Wally’s friend group. Veering over to Hollywood for a second, whenever a book gets adapted into a movie or TV Show, minor characters get lost in the transition. Either they get composited with other characters, or they get cut entirely. Game of Thrones is the most prominent example in recent memory. I bring this up because, if Waid’s Flash were to go through that process, it’s hard to argue that Jay wouldn’t get the ax. Despite being the most important of them in the context of the universe at large, Jay is the least important Speedster in this narrative. Of course, Jay’s importance in the context of the larger universe means that in this hypothetical adaptation, he probably be composited into either max or Johnny. More likely Max, since mentor is the logical position for the first Flash to take in the Third Flash’s narrative.
I mentioned Jess Quick there, so let’s talk about her. Thus far, her most prominent role in the narrative has been to call Wally out and be his critic, though she does have very good reasons to be angry. In the Terminal Velocity storyline, Wally believes he’ll die soon, and tells the Flash Family that Jesse will be his successor, but it turns out to be a lie in order to motivate Bart Allen to take things more seriously. Jesse has remained angry with Wally since then, though it hasn’t seriously impacted her hero work. That’s good, because her continued competence lends legitimacy to her anger within the narrative. She’s not being punished for being mad at Wally for mistreating her. Hopefully it stays that way going forward.
Now let’s take a look at the character Wally chose over Jesse, Bart Allen AKA Impulse. I’ll say up front that I’m not reading Bart’s solo series during this read through, as I didn’t want the hassle of going back and forth between books. As such, the only issues of it that I’ve looked at are the ones that tie into the Dead Heat arc. I feel it’s important for me to say this, because I’m basing my opinions of Bart primarily on his showings in Wally’s book, not his own. In Wally’s book, Bart’s character flaws are more on display.
Bart is a character deliberately designed to be obnoxious, and such characters are a hard tightrope to walk in fiction. Gotta be annyoing enough to get the point across, but not annoying enough to turn people off from the work. Bart in Wally’s book isn’t perfectly balanced, and tends toward the too much pile. Not to an egregious extent, but a little bit. I found myself echoing Wally’s frustration with Bart more than a few times. In Bart’s defense, Wally does share some of the blame here. He doesn’t do a very good job as a mentor, and handing those duties off to Max is probably for the best.
I find it interesting, that a character like Wally who is so defined by inheriting a legacy is a poor mentor, to both Bart and Jesse. He makes different mistakes with both of them, but he still fails both of them. I’m eager to see how that plays out in the future issues.
Now that we’ve discussed the supporting cast, let’s discuss some of the book’s villains. We’ll start with the one who is most infamous, Eobard Thawne. Thawne’s spends the majority of his time in this book thinking he’s Barry Allen, and if I’m being honest, he’s more effective under that guise that he is as Eobard. The scenes where what appears to be Barry Allen turns evil out of jealousy of his successor are powerful, more so than the more traditional villain Eobard displays after the reveal. Not that it would have been a good idea for it to actually be Barry, of course. Much as I prefer Wally to Barry, having Barry go full supervillain would have been very out of character. In any case, this run had a profound impact on Eobard’s character going forward, solidifying him as an agent of toxic fanboyism, making him a dark mirror of Wally West.
The next major villain of the run is the cult slash terrorist organization Kobra. That might bring thoughts of GI Joe to your mind, and you honestly aren’t far off. So far as this run goes, the biggest differences between DC’s Kobra and Hasbro’s is A) DC’s version prefer green over blue, and B) Hasbro’s version has more in the way of distinct characters. Kobra thus far is more of a plot device than anything else. They’re generic terrorists with little to make them distictive. Their storyline, Terminal Velocity, is more notable for it’s introduction of the Speed Force, Wally preparing for his upcoming ‘death’, and Linda going on a revenge quest after said ‘death’. All things that Kobra is incidental to, any villainous organization would have sufficed.
The final, as of my current point in the run, major villain is Savitar. Savitar was formerly a soviet test pilot who gained a connection to a the speedforce, gave himself the name of Hindu god, and started a speed worshipping cult. It says a lot about my mind that my immediate thoughts upon reading Savitar’s origin were. “Huh, an AU where Hal Jordan became a Speedster the same way would be neat.”. Savitar is in some ways an improvement on the Kobra Cult from Terminal Velocity. This time the Cult has a more direct connection to the Flash and his mythos. Dead Heat is by no means a retread of Terminal Velocity, but if you wanted to mesh them into one story, it wouldn’t be hard. And it’d improve on both, in some ways.
One of the things I like to do in my fanfic ideas is connect the other speedsters to Thawne’s theme of Toxic Fandom, and it wouldn’t be hard to do that with Savitar. His entire motivation is to deprive those he considers unworthy of their speed, and that can easily by played as a metaphor for gatekeeping.
Over all, while the run is far from perfect, I must say I’m enjoying these comics a good deal, and if you’re like me and have read a lot about comics without actually reading them, I don’t think you’d regret jumping into them.

Feelings - Matt Casey
Summary: Matt, Kelly, and herself have been friends since they were kids. Matt developed feelings for her, but he never told her. Pairing: Matt Casey x Reader Word Count: 1,275 Warning(s): mentions blood, kidnapping, violence, abuse (physical and emotional), injury,
Request: So I see you write for One Chicago. well as a pilot episode fan, I'd like to request a Matt Casey x reader. Where reader works with house 51, has been friends with Casey and Kelly since childhood to where they get gut instincts to when something is wrong with of the three. And Kelly and Casey haven't heard from reader in a few days and they have to enlist in Pd's help to find their friend, scared reader will die Casey confesses his feelings for reader to Kelly, who knew all along.
Matt set his cell phone back down on the table and pushed it away from him. His mind began to think about y/n, and how he, nor Kelly, or anyone heard from y/n in a couple of days. He was beginning to get worried.
Kelly walked up, knocking on the door of Matt’s office. “Have you tried calling y/n again?”
“Yeah, and there’s no answer.” Matt paused. “I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a bad feeling.”
“Me to,”
“Do you think we need to get intelligence involved?”
“Most definitely,”
Matt followed Kelly outside to his car. The drive over to the 21st district was rather short. Pulling up and walking inside, Matt and Kelly walked up to the front desk, dodging busy officers. Trudy looked up, “How can I help you two?”
“We need to talk to Voight,” Matt paused. “It’s about y/n.”
Trudy stopped dead in her place. She wouldn’t admit it, but she had a soft spot in her heart for y/n. To be honest, y/n was her favorite firefighter. “Come with me,”
Matt and Kelly followed Trudy up the stairs to intelligence. Trudy coughed, getting everyone’s attention. “Voight... it’s important,”
“What’s going on?”
“We believe something happened to y/n. No one has heard from her in a couple of days. It isn’t like her to not show up for work,” Kelly said, stepping forward.
“Have you tried calling her?”
“Multiple times, and she never picks up,”
“Halstead Dawson head over to y/n’s home with them and see what you can find,”
The house was a complete mess when the four walked in. Some furniture was overturned, glass from various things covered the floor and the vase Sylvie made for y/n was broke.
“Looks like y/n put up a fight,” Jay said, walking through the living room. He gazed at the bookcase and noted that some books were missing. He assumed that y/n threw them at whoever broke into the house.
Antonio walked down the hall and into the kitchen. When he walked in, there were several broken dishes on the floor along with a bloody knife. “Jay we got a knife,”
“That isn’t y/n’s blood is it?” Matt asked, walking into the kitchen with Jay and Kelly.
“I don’t know, but whoever’s blood this is left a pool of it on the floor with a footprint in it,” Antonio took a picture of the bloody footprint and sent it to Adam. Hopefully, the footprint will tell them something.
The four of them walked through the house, occasionally stopping to look at things that were out of place. Walking into y/n’s bedroom, Kelly noticed something on her nightstand. “Hey, there’s a note,”
Jay picked up the note, “She’s beautiful and bright as the sun. I love her, and only her. And if I can’t have her, then none of you can,” He read aloud. Looking over at Matt and Kelly, “Do you know anyone that could’ve written this?”
“The only person I can think of is Jason. She dated him for eight months and left him when he started getting abusive towards her,”
“Let’s find out where Jason is and bring him in,” Antonio said, raising an eyebrow.
“It’s about time you woke up, my darling,” Jason walked back and forth in front of her.
“What do you want with me?”
“Isn’t obvious? I wanted you back, so I sent Thomas to get you,”
“You’re sick! You need help Jason!” She shouted. She tried to move her hands, but they were tied behind her. Her attempt to undo the binds only made her wrists red and raw.
“The only thing I need is you sweetheart,” Jason gently caressed her face, smiling wickedly at her. Y/n responded by spitting in his face. Jason laughed sinisterly before roughly grabbing a handful of her hair. “That wasn’t very nice sweetheart, and for that I’m going to punish you.”
Jason landed a punch across her face. Her head snapped harshly to the right, and the chair she was in fell to the floor. He then kicked her repeatedly in the chest and torso. After that, he grabbed the side of her head and smashed it against the concrete. But with her hands tied behind her, she couldn't do anything to fight back. She felt helpless.
Her head was throbbing. She assumed she’d have some sort of head injury like a concussion. The pain in her chest and torso was unbearable. Black spots were starting to cloud her vision. And as she passed out, Jason got on the floor and screamed in her face, “You’re mine and only mine do you hear me?”
She awoke to hear shouting and gunshots. When the shouting and gunshots ceased, the door to the room she was in opened.
“She’s in here,” Jay shouted. He raced over and crouched down to undo the ropes. He placed two fingers on her neck and barely felt a pulse. Quickly, he pulled out his phone and dialed 911. “This is Detective Halstead. We need an ambo to the abandoned warehouse on Wayfield street.”
“J- Jay,”
“Don’t move. The ambulance is on the way,”
Everything moved quickly. She was loaded onto a stretcher and placed in the back of the ambulance. The last thing she remembers before she passed out again was Jay looking down at her.
Kelly walked in y/n’s room and saw Matt sitting at y/n’s bedside. “You like her don’t you?”
“She’s intelligent, compassionate, funny, but she’s definitely not afraid to speak what’s on her mind. Wait... How’d you know?”
“Whenever someone mentions her or says her name, your ears perk up in interest. You constantly worry about her whenever we get a call. And besides, you always look at her with those heart eyes,”
“I do not,”
“Oh, but you do and the others can back me up,”
“Matt?” Y/n groaned, opening her eyes. “Where am I?”
“I’ll leave you two alone,” Kelly left the room, leaving the two to talk. As soon as Kelly left, Matt grabbed y/n’s hand.
“You’re here at Med. Jason wasn’t too happy when you broke up with him, so he started to stalk you. He eventually kidnapped you from your house,”
“I really know how to pick ‘em huh,” She frowned. “I should’ve listened to you and the others when you guys said Jason wasn’t good for me. I’m so stupid!”
“You aren’t stupid,” Matt caressed her cheek, guiding her to look at him. “You’re far from stupid. You are an amazing person,”
“You really think that?”
“Yeah,” Matt smiled, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. “I was going to tell you how I felt, but then you said you were seeing someone, so I suppressed my feelings. As the months went on, I noticed you’d flinch when someone touched you or even came near you. Not too long after that, I noticed you’d show up for work with bruises. I was concerned, but figured if there was something going on you’d tell me. But then I didn’t hear anything from you in a couple of days and I just got this gut feeling that something was wrong,”
“So you went to intelligence for help?”
“Yeah. They found you in an abandoned warehouse on the other side of town. When Jay told me they found you, I was relieved, but then he said you were barely alive. I thought I’d never get the chance to tell you how I feel about you,”
“Can we take things slow?”
“Of course. I’m willing to wait until you’re ready,”
This... This is bad. But its not the worst, right? And to the anon that requested this, I’m so sorry this took so long. I was extremely unmotivated while writing this. I wrote maybe one or two paragraphs a day. I hope you can forgive me.
I usually don’t have a problem with making everything flow together, so I know its weird seeing how everything is broken up.
I hope you enjoy your request!
btw, wayfield street is made up street name.

Enjoy!
“Well birdie…looks like you are about to lose hahahahaha!!! This gives me so many memories! Ahh! To bad the big bad bat won’t come! ☹ But anyway…im sure you came for your little princess??? Ohhh you did hahahahaha!! The little robin is alone again!! Poor youuu! Too bad she doesn’t love you anyway!! Hahahahahaha” The joker laughed, over the blodies body of Red hood.
“ Fuck …you” Jason said.
“Good night!” The joker prepared for the last strike.
“BAM!”
Jason Todd Ending
Jason fired his gun, hitting the joker in the middle of his forehead.
The joker let escape a mad laugh before falling on the ground. A sick smile in his cold face as a little trail of blood escaped from the hole.
Jason kicked his body away and broke the door, seeing your sleeping face. He immediately calmed down, but his anger incremented as he saw The scarecrow sitting next to you.
“You fucker…” Jason seethed as Crane waked up.
“You…we thought I killed you….To bad, you’ll die soon.” Crane grabbed a knife and attacked Jason. Jason shoot him once. Crane attacked him, injuring his good arm making the gun fall on the ground. Todd kicked him on his knees making him fall, he kicked the knife away and hit cranes face repeatedly making him bleed trough his nose.
“that’s for (y/N)! that’s for all the civilians you killed! , This is for the children you experimented on, this is for my family and THIS IS FOR (y/n) AGAIN!!!!” After a extra strong punch Crane’s head hit the ground violently and got knocked out. Jason spited blood on the ground before running to you and disconnecting the blood transfuses and the machines.
“Oh god, (y/n) …wake up please! I can’t lose you! I can’t lose anyone else! Please!” Jason teared his domino mask off and hold your face in his bloodstained ones. He kissed you sweetly over and over again.
“(Y/N) PLEASE! PLEASE! Wake up don’t leave me…. You are my everything…my best friend…my lover…my soulmate…The only I trust enough with my feelings…I can’t lose anyone else! “he kissed your lips softly as his desperate hot tears fell on your cold cheeks. “(y/n) …..”
“J-Jay….” You opened your eyes softly, your mouth dry and voice raspy from the screaming. “Jay..” Jason smiled at you as he hugged you hard.
“(y/n)…oh god….you’re okay…everything is going to be ok…” Jason’s breath felt hot in the skin of your neck as his hug felt comfortable and heavenly.
“Jay….im sorry…I shouldn’t have….i shouldn’t have come!” You sobbed on Todd’s chest as he tried to calm you.
“Shhhh, it’s okay….we took care of it…Gotham’s safe again…” Jason carried you bridal style out of the facility, as he went out Kory and Roy entered the labs.
“Everyone has reunited?” Jay asked.
“Yes, everyone is waiting outside. The rest of the league joined in the last fight.” Roy answered.
“Take care of Crane, if I see his face I shot him.” Jason started walking away holding you close. “ oh, and the body of the joker is rooting in the entrance!”
“What.” Roy said.
“Does that mean I can blast the crow of scares? he hurt my friend!” Kori said.
“uh…maybe a bit, yeah a bit” Roy said as they walked to the lab.
///*\\\
Jason got out of the labs to see his allies, friends, and …ugh…family.
“Jason! How is she??” Dick ran to him to see if you needed medical attention.
“She’s okay…”
“My god! Jay your hands! You face! “ Dick said.
“Not my blood”
“Who is it. “ Batman, who had recently joined their fight said.
“Crane’s…and joker’s”.
“The joker was here?” Superman asked as Roy came out of the lab with Crane’s unconscious body and Kori with joker’s bloodied, cold corpse whose she let fall from her flying position to the ground in a loud splash.
“He’s dead btw.” Jason said nonchalant as he passed them to let you in Roy’s car. “Now take Crane out of my sight before I shot him ten times.”
"What? JASON!" Batman yelled. Jason let you in the passenger seat and drive home where he showered you, dressed you in your pajama and prepared your favorite to eat. Late that night Jason cuddled you apologizing for not acting before…for letting you get hurt. You tried to smile at him and cuddled him.
“It’s not your fault…” Jason hugged you and hide his face in your neck, smelling your calming scent.
“I love you, (y/n).” Jason kissed your lips sweetly before falling asleep.
///*\\\
It’s been 4 months since what the press called “The Darkest months” . All the hero community united to put Gotham back to its feet.
“Starfire, Hawkgirl please put this in that roof”
“ Okay!” Kori smiled as she and Chayara flied the roof of a house to its place. Superman flied over them melting the joints with his X ray vision. The lanterns set away and got rid of the debris while Aquaman took care of putting out the fires and of re-construing the port of Gotham.
Batman and the Batclan, helped GCPD with the civilians. Wonder Woman with the Flash helped to put back together Gotham’s memorials. For the first time all the heroes helped in putting back the destroyed city, and for the months it took no villain, mobster or petty thief tried anything.
Jason had finally eliminated all the residual chemicals Scarecrow put in your system, with patience, love and caution Jason sewed back together your psychologic and physical health ,like you once did for him all those years ago. Bruce had months of not talking to Jason, angry at the fact that he had killed, on the other hand, Jason felt his revenge had been finished and now fought for what was right. You and Jason fell in love all over again after that adventure and Jason was very decided to not letting you go.
He had finally found someone he could trust with his life, someone he could be weak with , someone who would love him with his faults …Someone he could form a family with.
Tonight was the 8th anniversary of you first meeting and also of your first date. Jason put a blindfold on you and conduced you to the same secret place he showed you those years ago, this place was only yours…There he had set an small table with two chairs and a candle.
“Jay…?” A wide smiled took over your face as you looked at you romantic-that -acts-like-he’s-so-tough boyfriend and kissed him. He helped you sit and put the first dish he prepared for you when you two moved together.
After eating he smiled at you with his bad boy charm and gave you his helmet. You, confused took it , he told you to look inside. You got a little red velvet box and as you opened it Jason got on one of his knees. You realized when you saw the simple ring inside and tears started falling of your eyes.
“(Y/n) (l/n) I know im not the easier man to get along, nor the best boyfriend heck not even the best vigilante. But I love you, you make me a better man, you feel like I belong, you are my home. Since I meet you I knew there was something in you…something that told me that you were different. You would make me the happiest man on earth if you accepted this mess for a husband.” As Jason ended you had put the ring on your finger and tackled him, kissing his lips over and over again.
“I DO!, I do I do I do!!” You smiled at him as he kissed you passionately.
“Thank you.”
///*\\
It was a small wedding in that same roof. Just your family, Roy, Kori and jay’s family. He looked handsome with his black leather jacket, clean white shirt and black pants. You, on the other hand looked positively angelic in your medium length white dress with a red bow, your (h/c) hair free and natural and bouquet of red roses on your hand.
Jason smiled when he looked at you, you here the most beautiful view he had ever seen. He took your hand between his and kissed your nose.
Roy, officed the wedding for you as Tim was Jason’s best (or maybe bat?) man and Kori was your (how she called it ) Maid of brides. Lian with her cute red hood dress you had made for her carried the rings for you two.
After the ceremony Alfred with the help of the Batboys (and Bruce) prepared the dinner, and after Roy got a bit drunk with Dick and Babs had to put them in time out you and Jay came back to your home sweet home where you made love all night long.
Sinking in each others warm until the end of time.
The end.
Bonus!
Meanwhile in one of the darkest cells of Arkham and middle aged man grabed his head between his hands and talked to himself smiling crazily as h lived in his own world.
“Yes, of course my beautiful (y/n)! of course I’m happy we have Sam! You want another?? No problem my beautiful wife! Get out that pesky dress of you and let me make love to you!!!”
Suddenly a loud explosion and the man hit the wall violently as the wall of his prison blew up. When the smoke cleared the man eyes looked at his way to freedom, an evil smile made his way to his soft face.
“I’m coming, my love!” Yelled Jonathan Crane as he ran away of Arkham asylum.
