Thing is with this theory, everyone brings up the past tense and NEVER this note. Weird, because it's the one clue that this theory could even be true at all-- basing something entirely on past tense is insane to me

Even then this could just be a hint that he was gone for a while doing something, and Cassie doesn't know what. It's a mystery for now!

Am I the only one who just isn't convinced Cassie's father is dead/missing/out of the picture in some way?

Based on the "fact" he is always "referred to in past tense"

Because to me, the examples mentioned always sound like they could be explained in another way that isn't her father being gone.

Her father used to collect the Fazbear stuff? Used to doesn't mean he's gone, what if he stopped one day?

Her father wouldn't tell her what happened to Bonnie? Well, what if she gave up asking?

Bonnie was her father's favorite? Well Bonnie is dead so I find it more likely it's referring to him

It's not a bad theory but when this is some of the proof I'm NOT convinced

Plus when she picks up the fazwrech, it sounds like her dad still has a job and is still working and using his wrench
